First off I love my Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX100V. I bought four other cameras and returned them before finding it and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it, which is why I bought this case verses some others.
The Good:
1. Snug fit but not to the point of using the jaws of life to get the camera in!
2. The cover is sleek and very well cushioned
3. It comes with a belt clip which I did not care about but now that I have it... I use it ALL the time... so glad I have it and now I could not live without it.
4. The tripod is cheap... very cheap but we have actually used it and it did serve it's purpose! Would I trust it to hold my camera on a thin ledge... heavens no... but on a big surface that would catch my camera if the tripod collapsed... sure.
5. Well made... very well made. The stitching is solid and strong
6. made in the USA... that alone is a top selling incentive for me
7. The buttons at the bottom are solid and good strong buttons, not cheap clip kinds. Why such a big deal on the buttons? Well this case does not come with a carry strap so your camera's strap becomes the strap for camera and cover. The buttons are what keeps the case on and in place even when you are wearing the camera over your neck and all the pressure is placed on the buttons to keep their hold so that the case stays on and does not fall off.
8. The price is incredible at 18.00! WOW... it is worth more!
9. No strap now you may thing I am crazy for this one but hear my logic. My camera's strap could hold a boat to dock it is so strong and I would not want my camera in any other strap or manufacturers hands. What if the strap broke on the case and my camera fell into water or a lake or whatever. I would much rather trust my strap especially since this case is built to work with your camera's strap that comes with your camera whether you want it or not.
The bad:
1. It came with a label stating made in the USA which I love but then the tripod is made in China???? No points off or anything but it takes away from the bragging rights of MITUSA (made in the USA)
Overall I obviously love this case and the construction of it. I would recommend anyone to buy it!

This sleeve case fits both the Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 and the new Nikon Coolpix P500. I had brought several cases but did not find the one that really fit my cameras until this one. It is easy to get on and off and is not so tight that it is a struggle to get your camera in. It fits the offset build of the camera snugly. I will be buying another to cover my backup camera. This sleeve is perfect for both my Panasonic DMC FZ150 and my Canon XS20-IS. It's light weight and really convenient for carrying when you want to keep your camera protected but don't want the bulk of a traditional camera case.Honest reviews on DuraNeoprene FlexArmor Digital Camera Case with Mini Tripod
I don't always want to carry a shoulder camera bag for a trip that might be only a few hours, but I still want camera protection. This case holds my Sony HX200V just fine, but not a tight perfect fit, and allows for the use of the camera's neck strap. You have to learn how to remove it from the camera however. It seems to work best if you peel it off so that when removed it is somewhat inside out. When you replace it back on the camera you use the opposite motion. Since using it I have removed the camera lens cap it just gets in the way. You will be frustrated with using it if you don't remember to peel it off inside out. The case will stay suspended below the camera if you choose the screw or the rubber ring attachment for around the lens housing. The small tripod received was not the one pictured, but it is still OK for some uses.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for DuraNeoprene FlexArmor Digital Camera Case with Mini Tripod
That's the CASE I was looking for! The case, yes, the case and NOT the BAG. I wanted a cool and soft case to protect my new Canon Power Shot 500 IS. I've searched through millions of websites and I couldn't find anything that would suit me. I prefer to carry my camera in my purse since I don't want to have millions of bags on me. Finally I found this case for a very reasonable price and I got exactly what I needed. It looks cool and neat, not too thin, not too thick. A little big for my camera, but it's protected now and I am not worried at all. And the little tripod that came with it was a great addition for my light-weight camera and is very sturdy. Of course, it is not meant to hold huge DLSRs, but as a small giftperfect.I've read a ton of reviews and want to clarify something for those who are thinking of buying this case: this a CASE, not a camera bag, so of course you will NOT have extra room for a flash drive or a battery (still depends on the size of the camera). If you look for extra spaceget a camera bag.
Overall, I'm very happy with the product!
