I've MAYBE taken this bag out 3 times since I got it a month ago. All three times or so, it's been light wear and I've dominantly used the shoulder strap. I almost never used the handle.
I went to show my-worker my camera, and, lifting the bag by the handle (which the bag had my $400 camera inside), the handle snapped and the bag fell to the ground. The fabric on the handle simply burst and slid off of the plastic base.
My camera was ok, which I guess says something for the protective ability of the bag's body (it was only a 3 1/2 foot drop, but still). I'll attach pictures for reference.
I think I'll be looking for something sturdier. A DSLR bag's sturdiness isn't something I want to be gambling with, not with the DSLR inside.
Sorely disappointed.

I bought this about 2 days before I was set to leave for Disney world. I had a new camera I wanted to take and needed a case. This was one of the few that had any color to it so I took a leap and ordered it. I'm glad I did. the strap was comfortable enough for all day carry, fit my camera perfectly (for the record I have a Fujifilm 4200, not a DSLR but not compact either), made of nice protective materials, and was super cute. I didn't want a big bag and this one was perfect. It fit my camera and a few others odds and ends I would need in the park plus the compact size made bag checks super simple. Highly recommend this bag!Best Deals for Vangoddy Laurel Magenta Compact Entry Level Canon DSLR and SLR
Nice bag, but a little snug on the height (top to bottom of camera), and just fits with a mid-sized zoom, like the base zoom in kits.handle is a little light on padding, but works great for what it is, and small enough for students to use for photography clubs and yearbook use.
