This is meant for sports photographers, rather they use it the most but i am a portrait photographer and also shoot landscapes. I never stick to one lens when i am shooting and always need to run back and forth to my lens back and i find that very annoying so initially i picked up the speed belt and some pouches but that felt very uncomfortable and weird . With this added to that setup feels much more stable and comfy, its very well thought of product. I love it!

The quality on this product is top notch. Price is not cheap, but quality costs. Remember that the harness does not come with the belt. You will have to buy that separately for about $30, and without the belt the harness is not very useful. Keeping that in mind I can recommend this harness.

Having several Think Tank Modular Components attached to my TT Steroid Belt, I was looking for something to reduce the weight and drag on my hips, particularly when loaded down with gear. This perfectly fits the bill! It also makes buckling the Steroid Belt much easier since the whole outfit is supported by the shoulder straps. I wish I hadn't gone so long without it.

I used this harness to both support the belt and attach the camera straps (made by Think Tank) to support and quickly adjust fit for a digital holster on my chest. This was the most comfortable way to carry the Think Tank holster with camera while hiking and even biking or jogging! The harness is a very useful piece of gear. It allows to redistribute some weight of the gear to shoulders.

Fits well, going to need it if you are weighing down the belt as I did with a few lenses and your camera.

I have a 24-70, 70-200, lens changer, and a Spider Holster hanging off the belt, and yes, I need the harness to hold it up.
