I bought this bag for my Nikon D300 with 18-200mm zoom lens. The bag has sufficient room for this combo. I ordered it due to it having the most compact size and adequate padding/protection. I also wanted the belt loop. I only wish it had an external pocket for holding a spare battery and lens filters, as there is nowhere to put them. When taking more gear, a larger bag is necessary. This one is fine for holding just the camera and lens combo. Nicely made too.

The bag is excellent. It does not have a lot of space, but it fits my nikon d90 with 18-105 lens and many memories. I knew about the space capacity before I ordered it, but I was ok with it because I wanted something small and easy to carry. I love it.

You can never go wrong with Kata brand. Very sturdy and attractive dSLR case. It holds my nikon d40 and a spare lens w/o any issues. Looks and feels very expensive.

Honest reviews on Kata DH-425 DPS Series Digital Holster Style Case for DSLR Camera

After reading the info on the case I decided to order it. I was excited to

use the bag, but when it arrived there was no way it was going to fit

my Sony a700 and my Sony 16-105mm lens. Very disappointing.

The case is nice and not as conspicuous as most. I would have loved

to have used it. It didn't scream "Steal me I'm a camera case" either which

was one of the attributes I was looking for as well as the top load

and the ability to use it as a holster.

I wound up using a Crumpler which looks nothing like a camera case

and it was perfect for a trip to Europe and I was able to carry a 55-200mm

lens in the case as well. I used the "3 Million Dollar" home bag and was able

to carry not only my camera with my 16-105, the 55-200mm lens, but lens

pen, extra battery and CF cards as well as stashing my passport from time

to time. I think I might get the "4 Million Dollar" next time.

Take off the Crumpler label and not one will know.
