Very well made, it will protect your 70-200mm lens. It also holds 1.4 TC attached to the lens. this case is way much better than the tamrac version. I'm using it as belt bag and it's really handy, easy to access my heavy lens whenever I wanted to switch lens.

I purchased what for me was a very expensive lens, Nikon 105mm micro. After paying this much it did not seem prudent to depend on the soft bag Nikon provided for protection. This case came sooner than expected, has padding to protect the lens, seals securely to keep out dust and moisture, and protects against shock. The case is new, not used for long, but seems very well made and I trust it with my valuable lens. If I spend over two hundred dollars on a lens I also purchase a protective filter and secure, protective case.

I highly recommend this item. Quick delivery, reasonale, well comparatively reasonable price, and considering the investment in the product you want to protect, a good buy.

Got the Lowepro 11x26 to attach to a Lowepro Toploader Pro 75 AW. This allows me to carry a 80-400mm lens on my camera (stored in the toploader), or store the lens in the side case while I have another lens on the camera body in the toploader. And on those times I don't need the longer lens, the lens case works great for holding a flash, etc. I haven't had it long enough to have put the system though hours and hours of field testing, but so far it's working like a charm.

I bought this case as a complement for my regular camera bag (lowepro nova 140aw) that let me carry my ef 70-200f4L protected...And it is exactly what I needed: a nice, very well padded lens case.

Some considerations:

It is originally designed for a wider lens (like a 70-200 f2.8) so a lens like mine will not fit perfectly tight, but tight enough to be protected. Also, the 70-200f4 fits no problem with its lens hood attached. what's missing? all weather cover...but nothing in life is perfect. Overall, this is a very good product at an affordable price.
