This is a big wrap! Good for netbooks or laptops. Also good for larger SLR cameras with lenses attached. Good home for a 70/80-200mm or other large lens.

Tenba wraps padded more than other brands, which while added a bit of bulk (much less than a padded camera bag!), it provides good protection. While the wrap is a bit big for this, I wouldn't hesitate to put my Nikon D90 and 18-200mm VR lens in there and throw it in an standard un-padded backpack, more then enough protection. When using it this way, the wrap is big enough I could probably fit D90/18-200 as well as a flash and small prime lens, and roll in such a way that these items wouldn't rub together.

Build quality feels good, I will be looking to get smaller versions from Tenba for other things!

I have a 15 inch laptop and at first when I read the other reviews I was kinda sceptical because I have OCD when it comes to my stuff getting scratched.

Today I had opened the package to find and feel the inside of the wrap perfectly smooth, I am in love with it now and when it comes time to need to wrap something up, I would definetly buy this again and highly recommend this to anyone of my friends.

Pros:

Inside lining looks scratch proof

Can add the item wrapped up into anything for traveling

Pretty sufficient padding

Cons:

Adjust a few times to get the wrap to perfectly cover the laptop or big item

Be Careful when you wrap your stuff, make sure you flap one of the velcro edges backward so you don't scratch your product

outside material looks so much as a lint magnet

I love to travel and take photos. I recently bought my first DSLR. I debated on whether or not to buy a real camera bag with compartments. Was a little worried I'd attract too much attention, didn't want to get mugged. Decided to try buying a Tenba Messenger Wrap and making one of my big purses into a camera bag. I did and I love it. It's perfect for just carrying around a DSLR with a small lens. The Wrap perfectly fits my purse so you can't tell I'm carrying a camera. The 22x22 provides a lot of cushion. Might consider the next smaller size if you want something less bulky.
