I bought this camera case to protect my Canon 60D and 17-55mm f/2.8 lens while deployed. I am half way though and it has protected my equipment great so far. There is plenty of thick padding on all sides to protect the camera from bumps and short falls. The MOLLE is great for attaching the case to my equipment or attaching accessories to the case. The main storage area is just barely large enough for my body/lens/UV filter combination. The body/lens/filter sticks up above the zipper line so it compresses the upper storage compartment a little. The upper storage has plenty of compartments for extra memory cards and batteries. Even though there is a space to put filters, it isn't large enough to fit the filter when it's in its protective case. I am not about to put a B+W polarizer in the slot where it could easily get scratched in my working environment. Thankfully there are side pockets that the filters with cases easily fit in. The upper compartment also has a spot where you can store a Lenspen or two. When fitted with the optional shoulder strap this is a great little case for a smaller SLR or large point and shoot for an afternoon outting.

I have a Canon EOS Rebel T3 with the standard lens and a telephoto lens. The camera only fits with one lens (whichever one is attached). Even if you remove all the Velcro foam dividers it's too small and your camera would shake around a lot.

It doesn't come with a shoulder strap for use when the case isn't attached to a pack or other gear. But the MOLLE system works fine.

It seems to be a solid case but it'd work better for someone with a smaller camera or a photographer with only one lens.

Just got this in today. Started arranging how I want my camera in it. I have a Canon Rebel T1I with an 18-55mm lens. With the customizable shelf that comes in the bag, you can create the perfect fit for your camera. The top compartment is perfect for all your lens filters, lens covers, battery, lens cleaning cloth and brush, ID cards, and to hold your phone. Seriously, in the top compartment, there is a divider that is both padded, but also lined with a soft, felt-like fabric. It will protect your phone and won't scratch it.

The outside also has open-topped pouches on the front and sides, behind the PALS webbing grid. Plenty of plastic D-rings give you many attachment and sling options.

I am so confident with this bag, that me and my wife tossed it back and forth a couple times from ~5 feet away, just to see if there is any movement of the camera inside. Both of us are convinced it is a secure, snug fit. Add in 1000D Cordura on the outside, and this bag is as rugged as you can get in a soft sided camera bag! I would definitely recommend for anyone who needs a camera bag for the outdoors, instead of a hard-case like Pelican.

I got this bag to carry around my Rebel T3 camera while I am deployed to Afghanistan. The padding on the sides of the bag has saved my precious camera from the rough wear and tear of a combat zone on more than one occasion. Furthermore, the top portion of the bag is perfect for holding additional SD cards and my voice recorder. Finally, the way that the opening is designed, it opens away from you which, keeps all of your stuff from accidentally falling out of the bag; ingenious. I would recommend this bag to anyone who is deploying to a warzone as a combat cameraman or reporter. The only negative to this bag is its bulkiness but that is to be expected in a padded bag.

HOLY FORWARD OBSERVER ,

If your in the business of embracing the suck in a sand box and take pictures for fun or for work this is the bag.

I have had this bag for a month and I am inlove,I have utilized my name tapes and unit patches to easily identify myself.

The interior of the bag is outstanding,with non scratching soft ,material to keep your lenses and camera body safe. I am 100% you could drop this out of a MRAP or other uparmoured vehicle and your camera will still be safe and alive.

Genius idea about all the D-Rings and molle. If you want to mount this in your vehicle you the options are limitless.

The top is constructed with a multilayer divider and you can place a ton of SD Cards ,Cleaning supplies.

The molle is perfectly sewn with correct spacing between each loop. Grimlocs with be your friend if you wanted to mount this to a larger molle item. There is no molle attachment webbing for you to mount this item sewn on the bag,you will need to use 550 Cord or Grimlocs to mount.
