SIZE:
This bag is the perfect size for carrying a crop sensor camera with two small zoom lenses.
The equipment I carry in my bag:
Camera: T2i (550D)
Lens 1: Sigma 17-50mm with hood on backwards (attached to camera)
Lens 2: Canon 10-22mm
Its a perfect fit, no extra room and unfortunately no room for my Canon 10-22mm hood which is pretty big.
The 10-22mm hood can fit in the smaller pouch but I use the pouch to carry two 77mm filter cases.
DESIGN:
The strap is a lot more comfortable then it looks.
The material feels quality and the zippers are solid and smooth.
Theres around a quarter inch of cushion all around to protect your gear.
There is however, one serious design flaw that makes me want to give this product three stars. Do you see the two layers of material used for the cover? The gray textured cloth on the top and the black plastic underneath? Those two layers are only attach by velcro, the same amount of velcro used to attach the black plastic to the body. So you basically have to remove three covers to open your bag. 1. The gray textured cloth by velcro, 2. The black plastic by velcro, 3. Another gray textured cloth by zipper.
Yes, you can simply pull up from the black plastic to save yourself a step, but that makes that leather strap useless since its attached to the gray cloth. I wrongly assumed that the strap was so I can quickly pull off the cover, but it appears its just for the logo. I am considering stitching the two layers together.
No, you can't put anything inside those two covers. A ton of wasted space in my opinion. You could have used that extra space to put filters, papers, SD cards, battery chargers, etc. But nope, its useless.
Overall I'm happy with it because of the material quality and the size.
