I like to keep my camera protected in a tote or purse and easy to get to instead of packed away in a buckled or zippered dedicated camera bag. I tried a soft case but it was a pain to take on and off and a protective wrap but it was too bulky and took up too much room in my bag. This was perfect for my Nikon 1. With a prime lens, 10-30 or 30-110 I can slide my whole camera in and the Velcro tabs fasten it securely. Any extra fabric wraps close to the body for extra cushioning. I think it's large enough for any mirrorless camera. The wrist strap (or neck strap) can protrude outside the case if you want it too nice if you want to carry just the camera with some protection. This won't protect against hard drops but does offer some padding and protection from things banging into my camera and screen. For me it's just enough and a great deal for the money. Nice!
