This case is custom made by Nikon for the S80. So needless to say, it fits really well. Note that you must physically remove the camera from the case to use it. That is expected, but I thought i would mention that. The leather is soft and confortable to hold. The camera strap dangles out the corner of case, which make the case with camera easy to carry. The case has a pretty secure magnetic clasp. No case for the S80 will fit as well as this one, which is custom made by the OEM.

So why only two stars? One defect negates all the advantages. The reason I gave this case 2 stars is because the black leather left a black stain on the red plastic slide cover on my S80. This is after just 2 weeks of use. The stain is color fast on the S80 and will not come off. Major oversight on Nikon's part when they built this.

Disappointed! Except for very good protection for the S80, the case is useless. I can not affix the case to my person via the non-exsistant strap holder or clip. Quite inconvenient! Nikon should have given this a bit of consideration.
