The heading says it all. The interior bubble construction and tight fit provides shock protection for the contents. There is a side pocket to put an extra SD card or maybe even a flat battery. The exterior neoprene surface appears water repellent. It comes in a variety of bright colors. I actually purchased two, one for each of my small digital cameras, a Sony Cyber Shot WX150 and a Panasonic DMC-SZ1. Both fit perfectly.
