I really bought this for the half case, with the thought that I'd use the top half to protect the camera in a bag/suitcase during travel. As a half case, it's awesome. Some thoughts:
The leather and craftsmanship is much nicer than I expected. In the pictures, the leather looks sort of flat like vinyl, but it's actually pretty nice, thick leather with very even stitching and a good liner. Not much of a distinct grain, but for a mass-produced case, that's not surprising.
Some reviews say that there is no access to the battery/SD card, however mine has a snugly closing snap-flap that opens on the bottom to permit access, so I'm guessing they received an older model? The box mine came in says "X100 or X100s", I'd be curious if theirs just said "X100"?
Fit is wonderful. Very snug and secure....just as one would hope from the OEM.
I haven't used the included neck strap yet because I think the one that came with the camera is just fine, but hey...it's included if you want it (although no new snap-rings or protectors...just the strap, so you'll have to use the old ones that came with the camera).
It is true, that with an adapter ring and a filter, the top is a snug fit. I have the JJC adapter ring and a thin UV filter mounted, and the top flap closes just barely (forget about a lens cap). It would be a better fit without the filter (there'd be just enough room for the adapter ring). So if you absolutely need a full enclosure case, AND an adapter ring, AND a filter, AND a lens cap, look elsewhere. But, if you are really looking for a nice half case with the option of the top half to occasionally stow the camera in a bag, I think this will work just fine.
True, it has no tripod mount, but frankly, if you do a lot of work with a tripod (macro, landscape, etc), then chances are that you bought a different camera. For me, the case allows the camera to sit flatly and very stably on a surface for the occasional group picture, and that's good enough for me.
One oddity. On most "ever-ready cases" that I've had on vintage cameras, the top flips/folds over the front of the camera and hangs down while taking a picture. On this camera, the top half flips/folds over the back of the camera (towards the photographer)...which means it's a little more in the way when taking a picture. Again...for anyone who needs to always use the top half, this may be a problem, but for someone looking for a half case with the option for occasional greater protection, it's fine.

This is a nice case with a "retro Leica" feel. The upper "flap" has a magnetic clasp, and can be completely removed if you just want to use the camera with the lower section and the neck strap.Note that the upper section will NOT be able to fit over the camera if you have the LX-X100 lens hood and adapter ring installed on your X100/X100S.

Perfect fit for my x100s. Leather has very nice color and finish and appears that it will be very durable. Will most likely use as a half-case as I keep filter and lens hood on the camera.Honest reviews on Fujifilm X100s Leather Case for Camera (Brown)
Will only work if you add NO protective filter (even an extremely low-profile one) to your X100s. The fit and workmanship are very good, but I just don't like the idea of an unprotected lens.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Fujifilm X100s Leather Case for Camera (Brown)
Pros:High quality and good fit.
Protects whole body (especially rear screen) when in bag.
Handy flap on bottom that allows fast access to battery and SD card.
Cons:
Lacks character. Leather and stitching is dyed a very generic shade of dark brown.
Won't fit on camera with the Fuji adapter ring.
A bit expensive (although a better fit than the cheaper leather cases out there)
