I'm not really sure how much you can rave about a controller skin, other than to say it does it's job. As noted in a previous review, the skin does not look like the ones pictured. The one I received had ten rows of knobs that run long the face and back where the palms, finger, and pad of the thumb cradle the controller. I actually like this better because it has the added benefits of increasing grip, reducing condensation, and adding just a little more padding.
So, for functional purposes, the skin does what its supposed it. I find it a little easier to play for longer periods without getting uncomfortable, and that's really the only reason I bought this.
From a cosmetic perspective, the skin looks fine. I got the smoke, and I think it works nicely without being over the top. The knobs do break up the otherwise clean lines of the controller, so if you're a fanatic about smooth lines then this might not be the skin for you. That being said, the knobs are actually quite small, and you'd be hard pressed to notice them until you're up close.
Getting it on was simple enough, took a few minutes to adjust and center it. It would be nice if the fit were just a tad tighter, as it tends to have a little more slip than I'd like. However, it doesn't slop around, so no big deal there.
I've had this on my controller for about six months now, and it's holding up well. It hasn't stretched out, no tears, and it's still remarkably clean (I was afraid it would get all gunky and require cleaning, but no such problems).
If you want a little extra comfort, I'd recommend the product. Also, if you have to deal with multiple controllers and you want to mark one as yours, this is a great way to do it.

i found a controller skin at a target not too long ago when i first got my xbox 360. it was green and the last one there. i asked when they would get more and no one knew. so i looked up skins online and found this page. the skins you get in the mail are not the ones in the pictures. the pictured ones are a different brand, the one i found at target. this skin is cheap and looks completely different than as advertised. it already almost ripped when i was putting it on the controller, while the first one i got slipped on easliy. I am very dissappointed and will probably never order from amazon again.
