It protects the camera as well as all the lens.

Review of Panasonic DMC-GF3 Leather Case andLens Case For Panasonic Lumix
The leather is thin and the color is darker than tan more like mustard. The lens case won't work with the 200mm probably just the smallest telephoto.
The camera looks so good with this leather case.
