The strap is wide and high quality, and the bag overall seems like a great travel holster. Post a comment if you have any questions.
Update I've since tried this holster with the Nikon 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR AF-S DX Nikkor Zoom Lens for Nikon Digital SLR on my D3100 body, and it didn't really close. I might have been able to force it, but I think it would really be too big and you wouldn't want to do that. I regularly use it with both the 18-55 kit lens and the 35mm prime lens (Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras) that I picked up and love. Although there's a little extra room with both of these lenses, the tapered design and excellent quality of the bag means I'm not worried about them getting damaged from some shifting inside.

The KATA Grip-10 DL camera HOLSTER bag specified by their web site for the Fuji X-E1 will only hold the camera body, not the 18-55 mm kit lens. Instead get the Grip-12 DL bag which will hold camera body, zoom lens, plus an EF-X20 external flash unit. A small internal velcro-secured pouch holds spare flash batteries and memory cards. This bag is beautifully made with plenty of padding in key spots. A rain cover on a retainer cord tucks invisibly into a side pouch for instant retrieval. The bag has loops to secure it to your pants belt, and is small enough to comfortably sit down while wearing it. A very nice camera strap is included. Everything else, from the carry handle to the covered zipper speaks of quality. This bag is much nicer than those carried by the top electronics stores that sell cameras.Best Deals for Kata D-Light Grip-12 Holster (Gray)
I just bought a Nikon d5100 with the base lens, and this bag is the perfect fit. I actually sneak the battery charger in here too when I throw it in the car, but even that is pushing it. This size will only work if you know you're bringing one lens, a cleaning cloth, and an extra memory card.Though it's light on space, the construction feels solid and the design really works well for a light, over-the-shoulder bag. Got this on a recommendation and I'll pass it along as one; if you want to travel light with your camera at the ready, get this one.
