This case is made of high quality leather and is a perfect fit for my OMD with the 12-50mm kit lens. It also looks nice and people do comment on how nice the case looks with the OMD.

However, ever since I bought a Panasonic Leica 25mm f1.4 lens, I have that lens on my camera most of the time. I'm happy to note that this case fits perfectly with the 25mm lens with hood attached.

When taking pictures, simply unbutton the closing clasp under the case. The cover of the case flips over so that you can take pictures with the cover attached to the base. The base of the case remains attached to the camera through the tripod screw mount.

The only slight drawback of this case is that the base does not include another tripod mount. You would need to detach the base of the case in order to use your OMD with a tripod.

Given the quality of the OM D and traditional quality of Olympus cameras this case is a disappointment. The lens cover is a very sloppy fit. For this price I would not buy. For a soft case for the OM D just buy the cheap knock off
