This is a very nice carrying case. The build quality is good, but I only gave it 4 stars because the plastic "separators" used to protect the light stands should be a little wider so that they wrap the entire width of the stand. I know that's nitpicky. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this purchase. I would definitely recommend this to others.

For the price (and this this is NOT cheap), you get an ultra-thin canvas bag that uses velcro to secure your stands. Because it is thin canvas, there is no padding and there is no stiffness to the sides. It does come with plastic inserts which is designed to wrap around part of your stands to prevent it from scratching each other. It doesn't completely cover the length of the stands so there may be scratching. It's also bulky carrying around. A better solution would have been to design the bag to roll up and then have 2 velcro strips to wrap around it to fasten it tightly.

Mine lasted about 2 years of light use use but "bulky" is an understatement. A better bag is to buy the ones with individual pockets for the stands that wrap up.
