I actually got this teal case like a week before the camera came in due to it being on back order on Panasonic Direct.
Anyway, I really like this case quite a lot! When I got my White Lumix XS1 I thought the case would be too large but then when I put the camera inside, it actually fits perfectly!
Unfortunately, the XS1 has a plastic casing as opposed to a more solid metal to my disappointment so the fact that the camera sits in the middle of the inner area so when you zip up the case, the camera doesn't move around and rub on the zipper and scratch it up, is pretty stellar.
That black strap you can see below the case in the picture attaches on the bottom which is a little awkward due to it's positioning near the zipper closure part but I'm getting used to it. It doesn't come attached when you get it out of the plastic packaging and it's instead, in a little plastic baggie thing inside the case itself along with some padding so it retains it shape which can be discarded. The case also came with this small, maybe 5 inch long half inch wide blue Velcro thing and I have absolutely no idea what that is supposed to be for. I guess I can use it to secure something.
The item is Made in China (what isn't these days. The XS1 is also Made in China) but it seems to be pretty well made and looks quilted just like in the picture. I have to say this case is seriously just what I was looking for and I'm very happy to have purchased it.
