This case leaves nothing to be desired. Its design and finish are at least as good as the concerned Sony case. It is hard to imagine a reason why you would not get this case.

As described, the case fits perfectly the sony RX1 and protects it from minor bumps and scratches.The only drawback is that you have to remove completely the case (by unscrewing the big screw under the camera) to reach the battery or the SD card.
