It is a basic camera bag but has sufficient pockets to accommodate accessories like spare batteries, cords, chargers, memory cards etc. The interior is protective enough for the camera body. Seems rugged on the whole though only time will tell how durable it is. On the other hand, I am not into safaris and jumping out of pickups to snap pictures of butterflies and such. So it should last a while... For the price, you can't go wrong.

VERY CHEAP quality, I've had mine for a few months(dont use it very often) and it allready looks like its been through war.It has rips at the seams in many places. If you're on a budget and need a bag you can go with this or just wait till you collect enough money for a better bag. Like with everything else, you get what you pay for.

Honest reviews on Opteka Microfiber Deluxe Photo/Video Camera Gadget Bag for Canon

First things first, the image shows 'two' main compartments in the bag. This is incorrect. It comes with only one compartment.

The bag is of decent quality, but for the price it definitely is ok.

I have canon rebel xs with 18-55 (attached to the camera) and 55-250mm lens and both fit well in the bag.

I just got my first Cannon, and it fits in here as long as you take it apart. It's not great quality, but if you're just looking for a starter bag, then you're good.

My kit lens 18-55 just barely fits, I don't use it as a stand alone bag, I just wanted something to keep it from getting damaged inside my backpack. For that it works great, small enough to fit into a camping backpack, school backpack, large enough to fit the camera. I somehow managed to squeeze my prime 50mm lens in there too but only if it in there one way. Wish it was 1/2 inch bigger.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I like holster cases because they form fit the lens and you don't have to remove it. This one fits my Canon Ti2 with its 80-200 Tamron lens perfectly. The camera size guide on the insert says it allows 5.9" inches across the back of the camera, 4.6" from the base to the top of the camera and 7.5" for camera + lens length. It attaches to the neck strap with a 1 inch plastic loop and you can crush it under your arm while you shoot if the bulk bothers you. As promised there is an interior pocket for the lens cover which is one of its best features. The material feels like neoprene and gives your camera protection from dust, minor scrapes and bumps. Note that there is NO internal sling or hard bottom to protect your camera lens from being dropped hard on the lens. It did have enough room to slip my extra battery down in the lens area. There are no external pockets for chargers are power cords but then the idea is to have a day case that minimizes bulk. Nice little alternative to my larger holster that has it all.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I've been quite used to lugging around a camera bag with my DSLR and lens but for those who want to bring the minimum along with them for street photography or on vacation may want to look into Case Logi's Day Holster, for that added protection from bumps or scratches, especially if you intend to have this inside your back pack or bag and want that peace of mind that your DSLR will be snug and safe.

The holster attaches to your DSLR camera strap via a tether strap connected to the Day Holster and you can fit your DSLR with a small lens and also a pocket for your lens cap.

This particular Day Holster is black and is made in China. With your DSLR lens pointing down, the size can accomodate most DSLR's via 7.5 inches (19cm), width is 5.9" (15 cm) and height from shutter to bottom of camera is 4.6" (11.8 cm).

JUDGMENT CALL:

The Case Logic Day Holster will suit a photographer who likes to carry the basic minimum while in shots. Although I tend to prefer carrying a DSLR bag or having a DSLR backup to hold my multiple lens, the Day Holster is great for those who want easy access without carry much at all.

With that being said, this is not for those who use large lenses and its not for those who have a battery grip. The Day Holster is great if you have a DSLR camera and possibly a smaller lens like a 50 mm or even a kit lens. Something small. But I wish the Day Holster was slightly bigger to accommodate a DSLR with a grip. Otherwise, you will need to carry an extra battery with you, fortunately there is a pocket that is for a lens cap, DSLR cap and can hold a thin battery (or business cards).

The material is quite sturdy to protect from small bumps or scratches if kept in a bag or around your shoulder, but if dropped, I can't tell you that it's that strong, but I'm guessing it isn't.

Overall, the Case Logic DSLR Day Holster is useful. I tend to bang my DSLR quite a bit into things, especially on door knobs. But it helps to have this holster that is slightly sturdy enough to protect your DSLR from scratches and small bumps.

And for street photographers who don't want to carry much with them. Just a DSLR and a small lens and want that added protection for their DSLR, then the Day Holster is worth checking out!

Best Deals for Case Logic SHC-101-BL DSLR Day Holster - Blue

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program If I purchased this specifically for my camera and lens, I would be a little disappointed and would probably award it 4 stars because it is a generic fit (but good enough) as opposed to a perfect fit. There are no flaws in the material or workmanship and it was designed for a generic size of body and lens. What you need to know is what kind of camera I used with this baby. Read on.

I have more cases than I care to admit. It was a trial and error process. I now use only three of them. This is one of those three. The first one is a backpack style case. I use it when I want to carry just about all of my gear. The backpack also has a special pocket for a thin laptop or in my case, an iPad. I go fully equipped only when I am not certain what I want to shoot or might come across. I'm fully prepared with that thing.

When I know what lens I want to shoot with and I need room for a few other things, I carry a smaller case that looks like it was made to hold fat binoculars. Finally, when I just want go with the bare minimum, I use this one. When you go bare minimum, you just need something to act as a cover so you don't scratch your camera up. This case will also protect it from minor bumps.

All three of my favorite cases happen to be Case Logic. I own many other brands, but I use the Case Logics most often.

I shoot with a Nikon D7000. This case fits my camera with Nikon's 18-200mm VR lens very snugly. It doesn't slip right it. It takes just a little effort, but I don't have to force it. Of course with smaller lenses, it slips right in.

The only pocket it has is a small pocket to hold the lens cap when you are using the camera. That's actually a nice feature. Many shooters like myself don't like lens cap lanyards.

Honest reviews on Case Logic SHC-101-BL DSLR Day Holster - Blue

My brother bought me this for my Canon T3i with an 18-135mm lens. I have to say that for that camera body and for that lens, this product works well. The lens is essentially all the way at the bottom, and the camera body has just a little wiggle room, but is not "skin tight." (My lens also has a CPL filter on it too, and even with that extra length, the lens still has a tiny bit of room.)

I had USA Gear's Camera Sleeve USA Gear DuraNeoprene dSLR FlexArmor Camera Cover fits Canon EOS 50D / 40D / 30D / 20D / 10D / T3 / T3i / T2i / T1i / XS / XSi / XT / Xti / 400D / 450D / 500D / 550D / 600D / 1000D / 1100D ***Includes Microfiber Cleaning Cloth that housed a Rebel T3 with a 18-55mm lens which I loved. However, when I sold the T3 to upgrade to the T3i with a more versatile lens, the 18-135mm lens was just too long, ergo I bought this.

As mentioned before, this fits the T3i/18-135mm lens much better and the neoprene seems very durable. So why did I knock off a star? I wish that the Velcro closure was replaced by a snap button or real button I know that in a year the Velcro will gather loose strings and lint, and just will not close well. I feel that with a different closure it would have been more durable. Also, I really loved the shape of USA Gear's sleeve. It looks like a camera, and it was sewn to efficiently fit an SLR, where the Day Holster seems lazily designed. The Day Holster does not hug the lens when it meets the camera body whatsoever and it looks awkward when its holding the camera around your neck. Canon's 18-135mm lens is 67mm in diameter, and there is still room around the lens, so I feel that a 72mm lens would also fit very nicely in here.

All things considered, this is a great sleeve for longer, thicker lenses. If I were to have bought this with an 18-55mm lens I would have returned it in a heartbeat for USA Gear's sleeve. In fact, if you do have an 18-55mm lens, I wouldn't recommend it as there would be way too much room between the end of the lens and the end of the sleeve. Personally, when I buy a neoprene sleeve, I'd like it to fit a little tighter so that it is less bulky. For longer, thicker lenses, this seems to be the best product on the market, however be wary if you have a slimmer lens: it is a bit bulky.

Yep, the camera fit pretty nicely and it stays clipped on like it says it does. The one issue I had was that the little pouch inside doesn't stay closed and I lost my lens cap in the woods somewhere. I have 2 lenses for my canon t3i. The 18-55 and the 50-250 telephoto. The telephoto fits tight, but it fits and that is really nice for when you don't want to carry around a huge bag.

This screen protector is way oversized for the Nikon Coolpix S9500. It covers the top and bottom of the camera which makes the camera look extremely tacky and it partially covers the menu button on the right. I do not recommend this product.

Reviews of Zen Vision:m Leather Case (black)

Zen Vision:m Leather Case
Customer Ratings: 4 stars

It does a good job of protecting the Zen so I'll give it that and the quality of the stitching and finish couldn't be better. But, is this real leather? It seems more like high-quality "pleather". I'm not crazy about having to put it in upside down either. It just seems strange and you constantly open it upside down maybe I'll get used to it but it's not intuitive. If you put it in the other way, it's too tight and the buttons are all pressed so the device doesn't work. See the pictures I posted above.

I'll update this once I've had it a while longer. It's a little stiff which is good but once it breaks-in a little I think I'll like it even more. First impression this is overpriced should be more like $20 definitely. And, at least throw in some screen protectors for this price that's ridiculous. You have to buy protectors separately. On the plus side, you can do everything with the case on you have full access to all the buttons, inputs, etc. and even charging.

Edit:

It was just a little stiff in the beginning and it was pressing the bottom two buttons all the time so it wouldn't work well and that's why I had to put it in upside down. But, now after it's stretched out, you can put it in the case either way. And, it's much preferable with the flap on top otherwise it can fall out a little too easily.

I still like the case in general and haven't found a better option. It's thin and yet does a superb job of protecting the device. With all my "toys" I do tend to prefer the leather cases (Palm, Treos, phones, etc). They tend to have a better feel when I'm holding them.

Odd the picture of this case has changed since I bought this and wrote the review if you look at my pictures it looks like an entirely difference case. This one has a 1-2" wrap around velcro strap to hold it closed. Mine has no strap the flap actually has a few millimeters of velcro along the edge and that's plenty to keep it closed.

After searching through a countless amount of cases here on Amazon I decided to go with Creative's own. Another review caused me to be a bit skeptical about how well it fit the player. Well, I can tell you that it fits perfectly (as I imagined a case made by the same company that made the device would). If you're looking at the pictures and thinking to yourself "I don't want to have to put my player in backwards", then I can assure you that there is absolutely no need to. It fits great right side up the way it is intended to. I've begun to speculate that the person who posted the pictures and wrote the review stating that you have to put it in upside down is using the case with the 60GB version of the player. This can be a bit confusing since nowhere on this page does it specify that this case is only for the 30GB version. However, if you look at the product on Creative's site, it does state "Custom fitted for ZEN Vision:M 30GB only". So if you have the 60GB version, I can't really tell you whether it fits or not (perhaps you can then use it upside down). If you need a great quality case for the 30GB Vision:M, however, then look no further.

Also note that it doesn't have a screen protector, but I find this preferable since having a protector built into a case will usually give you much more glare than having one on the unit itself (since one sewn into the case would have to be flexible). I suggest either keeping the plastic on the screen that came with the device, or just picking up a generic PDA screen protector and trimming it to size. This way, it stays flat and smooth on the device (causing little or no glare) as opposed to the ones built into a case which can be wavy and cause glare from many different angles. Plus, you can replace it without having to get a new case when it gets scratched up.

Best Deals for Zen Vision:m Leather Case (black)

When i bought my zen i knew i wanted to get a case for it, so i bought this one, the factory creative one. It worked good for a few months, and then the velco stoped holding together. Besides that it was ok. If only Creative had made a case for the zen vision m like the did for the zen x-fi, which has a case with a magnets insted of velcro.

Honest reviews on Zen Vision:m Leather Case (black)

Used for about 6 months now.

Looks good, durable leather, appears to be made with decent quality and stitching.

I tend to remove the player from the case a lot, and found that over time, very very light scratches could be seen on the plastic front (I have a black color player). I have a screen protector on the LCD, so that has shown no damage, but the fine scratches on the player appear to be from the case itself (looks to be the stitching and edges on the inside of the case. I would almost fault the player itself, since I have felt the case, and there are no sharp edges, so if the player truly scratches with that little of abrasion I would question the plastic not the cover.

Otherwise, has protected the player well in my large bag, as it bounces around daily with a lot of other heavy items (water bottle, lunch, ect). Openings leave easy access to all buttons and cord openings. If you don't remove it from the case often I would recommend.

Full disclosure I am a huge fan of Kata gear. I purchased the C-56 to house my Nikon 5400 digital camera. I also own a MC-61 Shoulder bad, C-52 and C-54 cases ofr my point and shoots, and a C-58 for throwing my Nikon D-70 when I don't need all my kit.

As for the C-56, this is perfectly sized for a medium digital camera, and accessories. I carry a Sunpak flash in the main compartment with my 5400. The side pockets carry the weather cover (included), media cards, power charger, etc.

The body of this case is superbly constructed, with their patented TST protection keeping everything safe. Aesthetics are superb, again the eye of this beholder. You see everyone running around with Tamrac, and Lowepro this company lets you stand apart from the crowd.

Highly recommended!

As described, the case fits perfectly the sony RX1 and protects it from minor bumps and scratches.

The only drawback is that you have to remove completely the case (by unscrewing the big screw under the camera) to reach the battery or the SD card.

I just received this bag in the mail today and am really excited to try it out on the road will write another review when I try this out next month in Moab, UT.

The look, design, and feel of the bag are great. You definitely feel that this is a well put together bag and made with good material. After I loaded my equipment into it, which isn't how I thought it would fit (more on that later), I put the bag on and it was very comfortable. The strap is padded and adjustable. One one of the features on the strap that I particularly like is that it velcros together, but has a strap with a lock that goes over the velcro so you feel extra secure.

The pictures online and even the little brochure the company sends with the bag make it seem like your camera, flash, and lens will fit "down" into the padding mine do not. I own a Nikon d200, a Nikon SB-800 flash, a Tamron 28-105mm lens, and Nikon 17-55 mm lens. With either lens attached the camera sticks up over the padding, the flash sticks up as well. If your camera is smaller then mine then there should be no problem, but if it's the same size or bigger you may have the same trouble. The camera bag is designed so that you can pull the bag forward, grab your camera and be ready, so detaching the lens doesn't make it very functional.

I do like the bag overall and will test it out some more, so we'll see. Good luck and I hope this review was helpful, there are a lack of them out there especially for this particular bag.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

This bag is well-made, and pretty functional. That being said, It did a lousy job of protecting my Nikon D60. Like many new camera bags, it's designed so that the camera sits lens down in the compartment. I thought that this was a little weird, because If the bag was dropped, it would land lens down as well, leaving the lens to absorb the brunt of the impact. I didn't worry too much about is because this is how many camera bags are designed. Well, I should have worried more about it. I recently dropped the bag, from about 3 feet up in the air. That's about waist high for me. That's not a big fall, at all. When I took the camera out of the bag, sure enough, the lens was damaged. If you do by this bag, be sure to put extra padding on the bottom, or don't put the camera lens down in the bag. The padding is just not sufficient, even for minor falls.

Best Deals for Naneu Pro Echo Military Ops Messenger Backpack - Navy Blue

I bought this bag because it's a sling. I also have a Naneu Pro shoulder bag for my digital camera that I love, so I stuck with the brand.

Unfortunately, this sling bag was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever worn! After just an hour into a VERY easy hike, this bag was killing my shoulder (even with the extra strap buckled). The next hour of the hike was rather agonizing trying to get the bag to sit comfortably in any position I put it.

The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the bottom camera compartment and top compartment are nicely balanced and give you plenty of room for you equipment and perhaps a small lunch or something.
