Too snug, couldn't get the camera back out. The case was worn on edges. I would not buy this for the Canon SX280.

This camera case comes with a long strap so I can throw it over my shoulder for outings. It is made of a nice sturdy leather and the way it opens allows me to quickly remove my camera to catch those cute kid shots. My only wish s that it had come in red.
