I was researching cases for my new Panasonic HDC-HS900 Video Camera when I came across this Pearstone bag for sale through this seller on Amazon. They had the best price, and the product is excellent. Tons of room for cords, batteries, and accessories in addition to the camera. I love it.

I bought this insert to use with my canon rebel xti. It fits comfortably along with two extra lenses (also fits with a lens attached). It also holds the charger and extra batteries without feeling too crammed. I put the insert into a purse so no one knows it is actually a camera case! I like that the lid is completely detachable (it velcros on the front and back of the lid). Other inserts have a hinged lid which makes it impractical when using inside another bag (which isn't that the point of an insert?) The padding is not super thick on this insert, but I still feel that it gives enough protection. The bottom of it doesn't have quite enough padding in my opinion, but when it is inside another bag I don't worry about it too much. I would recommend this insert for anyone wanting an easy way to convert an everyday bag/purse into a camera case!

The padding is thick and the three dividers allow for customizing the space. The prices for those beautiful women's camera bag/purses were a little over the top ($120-$250). I took advantage of the Black Friday sales and spent less than $85 on two large beautiful purses and a 3.0 Camaroo insert to turn them into camera bags. The lid is great if you want to keep your camera equipment separated from your other items in your tote or purse. Since I use it as purse as well as a camera bag I took the lid off. I love that its padded and that I can easily change back and forth between the two purses and no one can tell I'm carrying a camera around. It's great for keeping my purse organized even if I don't take my camera with me.

I bought this to fit into other bags, so I could use something other than a standard camera bag. I'm pleased with the quality, and the simplicity. All of the internal sections can be repositioned with Velcro, and the top is attached with Velcro as well, so if you want easier access inside your bag, you can just remove the top and place it underneath for added padding. My Canon T2i fits nicely with two other lenses, and some other small accessories. I do not attempt to use the center foam around the lens of the camera to hold it, as it's not really big enough to go around completely, so I just put it in the bottom of the middle, like a cradle, and then I have a hidden compartment underneath it. Works like a charm.

Honest reviews on Express Insert for Dslr Camera - Exp 3.0

I purchased this insert to convert a purse, I had purchased recently, into a camera bag. While I love my Ape Case for carrying all of my gear on a shoot or a long trip, this insert is perfect for being able to carry my camera with me in a way that doesn't let unsavory types know I have a couple thousand dollars worth of equipment with me.

You will never get all of your gear into this insert, but for keeping a camera and lens on you (with all of your other purse items) at all times during the course of a day or a quick weekend jaunt it's perfect without the look of an obvious camera bag or the extra expense of a camera bag made to look like a purse, this will be ideal for you.

I love it so much I'm going to be purchasing another one of the 3.0 and a 2.0 for those smaller of my bags.

Really nice product.

Perfect fit for my backpack.

Compared to the junk Domke insert, the Camaroo insert is thick padding(even on the bottom) and has a lid.

I would highly recommend this bag and company.

This is a excellent bag for hiker or cyclist who want to travel light but wish to be able to bring along a mini camcoder or camera for those photo moments. The compartment is big enough to hold your camcorder, spare battery and a few filter for your camcorder.

What a great buy! This bag works great for either a digital still camera or mini camcorder. I purchased the Lowepro 40AW after researching them on the Internet and checking out the Lowepro site. I originally bought the 40 AW to use with my Toshiba PDR M-5 Digital Still Camera. I could fit either the still camera and all the accessories -cables, filters, you name it, or my Canon ZR10 with *almost* all the gear. But I loved it so much I bought this bag too -Lowepro Digital beltpack AW -for the ZR10. They are high quality camera bags and the Digital variety come with a special lining that will not scratch sensitive LCD screens! Lots of extra little pockets for tapes, smart cards, cables, and chargers too. The outside is soft yet rugged and well constructed. I think my high dollar digital camera investment feels safe and sound in this GREAT camera bag!

I have had this case for over a month and it has stood up to moderate abuse. Case is sturdy and more compact than the other models. The bonus screen protector was a plus. The case uses strong velcro to grasp the camera in place and the additional compartment holds cleaning cloth and other small items. Overall good product, I have seen more expensive ones in stores with lower quality materials.

UPDATE: Case protects well, but canopy clip broke off. I am still happy with the case.

I dig it! It's nice and sturdy. It fits the camera perfectly. I'm very pleased with it. I try not to rely on the carabiner because I don't trust a lot of them, but this one is holding up just fine so far!

Best Deals for New Version Slim Small Camera Case for Casio Exilim Casio Exilim

I purchased the hard case in black for my Casio Exilim camera and it has worked out very well so far. It is compact enough to put in my purse without being too bulky and it is strong and sturdy enough to protect my camera from abuse. I was worried about getting the hard case because all my previous cases for past cameras have been made of the typical nylon, but I like this case much better. It feels much more durable. I like that there is a strap that hold the camera in place, even though there's not much room in there for it to move around since it is relatively small and perfect for my camera. I also like that it has a small pocket for additional memory cards, etc. Lastly, I like that the clip is optional; I probably won't use it unless I need to clip it onto something while I'm traveling and I can put the clip in the pocket inside so it's always available. Overall, I think this is a great compact case for a camera and I look forward to having it for a very long time.

AmazonBasics Sling Backpack for SLR Cameras (Black) Reviews

AmazonBasics Sling Backpack for SLR Cameras
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program

The AmazonBasics sling backpack for DSLR cameras is a no frills solution for taking a reasonable amount of photo gear with you when you don't want or need to lug your larger case with you. It's a great solution when you are hiking, skiing or just want a more compact way to take your essential camera gear with you.

The backpack is entirely black, no color accents or embellishment whatsoever. The backpack has a functional shoulder sling that allows you to pivot the pack to the front of your body for easy access to your camera gear when you need it. It's a fairly comfortable, sling backpack with adequate shoulder strap padding and an additional lower waist strap. There is a smaller zippered upper compartment with enough room for a good sized flash and room to spare for batteries, lens cleaning tools or maybe a PB&J for an extended hike. The main zippered compartment can be configured to your needs using a series of velcro pads of various sizes. There is also a velcro strap that can be used in whatever way you can figure out how to use it. Depending on the lenses you wish to carry and whether you want to carry the camera body with no lens attached, you can move the pads around to accommodate your needs.

I was easily able to fit my Nikon D300 with attached 80-200 f2.8 lens and flash in the main compartment, with a second 17-55 f2.8 lens in the smaller top compartment along with some other odds and ends.

The bottom of the pack has two rubber "feet" which protect the bottom nylon panel from wear and tear. However, the case is really designed as a backpack and will not reliably stand on its own when fully loaded. It's not intended to be a supportive pack that can sit upright on a floor.

Overall the pack seems reasonably well made and does provide a great way to carry a camera body, couple lenses, flash and assorted odds and ends with ease. I love it for when I'm hiking and don't want to carry a conventional camera bag with me. It's easy to swing the pack around to gain access to your camera when you need it. I do like I can carry a compact tripod or monopod on the outside of the backpack and the "hidden" pouch that tucks away to hold the tripod/monopod leg is a nice feature. The zippers seem beefy enough to withstand some good use and the quick release buckles on the straps function well.

I like the backpack and the price is just about right for what you are getting in my opinion.

UPDATE: 1/10/2013 If you're thinking this might be a bit too large for you, take a look at the recently released AmazonBasics Sling Backpack for SLR Cameras (Black)which I've reviewed here http://www.amazon.com/review/R3NGA4F96W7XXV

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Update: 12/2/2012 I'm still pleased with this bag. I had to go on a hike today and pack the following:

Canon 5D Mk III, 580EXII, 8-15mm lens, diffuser, speedlingt off-camera coiled cable, batteries, etc. It fit perfectly. Look at the photos.

Original review: I have a lot of camera bags. I have tried several different sling bags. The Manfrotto was terrible. The Case Logic was great. Now it's time to try out Amazon's version of the sling bag. I'll compare it with the Case Logic TBC-310 SLR Sling for Camera (Black) the bags are the same price, and basically the same size. If you're looking for a perfect sized sling bag, these are the two you'll probably be comparing.

Size: The Amazon Sling bag is about 15% larger and more rectangular in shape.

Shoulder strap: The Case Logic slides from the right, the Amazon from the left. This means the straps are over different shoulders. The Amazon has an extra clip that prevents the bag from shifting, but has to be unclipped before you can slide the sling.

Top pocket: Case Logic is deeper, but smaller. 3x6x5 deep basically the shape of a medium lens. Amazon is shallower, but larger: 6x7 inches. Depth it's angled. 2" at one end, 4 at the other. The Case Logic top pocket is ideal for a lens, the Amazon for a flash or accessories.

Main compartment: This is the major difference. The Case Logic can hold a DSLR with medium lens, say a 17-85 telephoto. It can't be adjusted. The Amazon compartment is totally configurable. Depending on how you configure it, you could have a DSLR with 200mm, flash and smaller lens. Or DSLR with 17-85, medium lens, large flash and accessories. The inner compartment is 9x11x7" deep. You get five different dividers, of various sizes. It comes with the dividers just put in at what seems to be a purposely useless configuration. There are also NO instructions, so you need to play around with varying configurations. On the Case Logic, the top flap opens up to reveal the main compartment. On the Amazon bag, the flap as larger but it will also open past the top and down the back. This way if you have created shelves with the dividers, you can access them without pulling things apart. There are snaps to prevent the flap from being opened too far, letting your expensive stuff from falling out. That is a feature I have not seen on any other sling bag.

Tripod holder: Case Logic: Two velcro side straps, you need to figure out a way to stop the tripod from sliding. Amazon: One cinch strap and a pocket for the bottom (this tucks away and is impossible to see at first.)

Other pockets: The Case Logic wins here. The back back has several small pockets. These could hold accessories, cards, batteries and more. The Amazon just has an elastic mesh pocket. Not much use for anything.

Base: Neither bag will stand up on it's own. The Amazon has two rubber "bumpers".

Overall quality. It's difficult to say one is better than the other. The Amazon carrying handle is nicer, but the Case Logic material is *slightly* better The Amazon bags liner is not completely sewn in it looks like about 2" was missed in production this is at the corners of the large flap. That's pretty sloppy, and a place that will tear easily. The Amazon bag has a much better way of handling the tripod. The padding on the Case Logic shoulder strap is a little thicker, and it has an extra accessory loop. The differences really are minor.

Which bag is better for you? If you're using a DSLR with a smaller lens, the Case Logic is perfect. Need to use a larger lens, or carry more stuff? The Amazon bag is the better choice.

Best Deals for AmazonBasics Sling Backpack for SLR Cameras (Black)

Pros

Build quality on this bag seems good.

Zippers work smoothly.

Sling is comfortable and has adequate adjustability.

The bright interior color makes it easy to find small items.

Nice pocket areas.

Tripod strap with pouch at bottom in a zippered area

for one of the tripod legs.

Easy access to camera without removing sling. Pack will pivot to front.

Fair Price

Cons

The way it comes (see photo) there is no way of fitting my DSLR.

The dividers could offer some better options. Need a few others with more than one 90deg.

It will be a tight fit to get all of my needed equipment in this size. Wish it was a little larger

It will not stand vertical on its own without leaning it against something.

Update Feb 27, 2012

I've had a chance to use this sling backpack for some all day events. I like it. It works once I figured out how to place the sling. It fits around the left arm and over the head to the right shoulder. This allows the bag to be pivoted to your left front to allow access to the camera through the backpack's side compartment. This work well.

I also found that the the tripod strap on the side of the backpack also has a zip area at the bottom of the pack. It contains a pouch for the tripod leg to fit into. This stabilizes the tripod and holds it firmly to the side.

I'm leaving the 4 star. The main reason, the bag just fits the Canon 60D with the Canon 18-200mm F/3.5 lens. I would have liked just a tad bit more room. Also, the bag will not stand vertical on its own without leaning against something. The lower pads on the bottom are not flat enough to hold it.

Overall, I find it works for me, and it is very comfortable to wear even all day activities. I would recommend it.

Honest reviews on AmazonBasics Sling Backpack for SLR Cameras (Black)

This is one great bag for the aspiring photographer. Has plenty of room for my Nikon D5000 with 55-200mm lens and battery grip, 14-24mm Nikon lens, 18-55mm Nikon lens, 3 batteries, a point and shoot camera, ipod, cords, plugs, releases, a flip camcorder and extras. The only things I would like to see added are 1. a bladder pocket for water. Also on the opposite side of the main opening another pocket for some extra gear or snacks moving the tripod holder to the back of the bag. Over all the quality of the bag is way above price range stitching is excellent and there are no extra threads or threads that are sticking out. Buckles are nice big heavy duty. The bag offers plenty of padding for travel. It also has a hidden pocket on the side for holding a tripod leg. This is a great bag for you to keep all your photo gear in one spot. If you need a slightly bigger bag to pack your camera gear and are on a budget this is the bag for you.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have a DSLR and was pleased to find this as an alternative to the large camera backpack "everything holder" I usually bring to family gatherings and on campouts. It is fairly roomy with plenty of room for a Canon T2i with attached 24-70 f2.8 zoom lens which is my walking around lens. There is space also for a smaller point-and-shoot camera along with a case for additional SD cards, a flash, etc.

The styling of the bag is utilitarian with the top rather flat and not tapered like other slings I have seen advertised. It seems solidly made and includes straps for securing it around oneself a bit confusing at first since there are no instructions but fairly easy to figure out.

Overall, I am pleased with this unit and would recommend it at the price point.

I bought the camera bag at Unique Photo when I purchased my camera, a Sony DSC-RX100M2. It's a beautiful hot pink color made from a nylon material. Just the right size with enough padding inside to protect a compact camera. There is the main compartment for the camera, another zippered compartment and a spot on the back to slide stuff in. Nice long shoulder strap...light and easy to carry!

The website stated that the bag was 9x9, not. If you have a small handheld coolpix, this will work. I bought it for a Nikon P7100 thinking that at 9x9 it would be big enough, not. I had to order one size up. Now the bag itself is gorgeous, would really work, for a smaller camera.

EDITED: 2/26:-

Definitely recommended. No other camera bag comes close to being unobtrusive. Make sure you buy the PRO SPEED belt too. Such a convenience on hikes and I even manned a stall carrying the camera on my hip while everyone else was lugging around the camera bags or being careful about the equipment

======

If you are like me and hate the idea of carrying a large bag just for the camera or have been putting off a DSLR purchase thinking its too bulky to carry around safely, this is the bag for you. Many of us won't be carry an array of lenses and equipment as we are more of the hobbyist category.

I was looking for a good bag that could help do a quick draw as well as go on adventure trips. Initially purchased the Lowepro Photosport 200, only to return it. If you are an outdoor person, you would already have better bags and need something to store the camera safely. This is where the ThinkTank Holster fits in. Pack the camera and drop it in your bag. For quick draw strap it to you belt, bag harness what not. If you have more than one accessory consider the ProSpeed belt.

I carry an EOS7D with the stock 28-135 but the bag can take more as it comes with an expander. I am sure with the bag as is I can carry an additional 50mm prime too.

So far the only draw back I see is the metal buckles for the shoulder strap. It can clink a bit and not a good idea when at a concert. But then now you know what you are against.

Best Deals for Digital Holster 20 V2.0 Bag

Good. My Nikon D300 with 18-200 lens fits perfectly. the expandable length will accommodate a larger lens. Sure beats caring the shoulder bag on short excursions. I custom made some straps to attach it to my backpack. they snap to the hoops already on the holster.

Honest reviews on Digital Holster 20 V2.0 Bag

I have a number of different sized backpacks and sling bags and I use each of them when my equipment needs warrant it. I just bought a Nikon D600 and I wanted a case which I could take with me on my weekly business trips which would hold my D600 and a 50mm lens. Enter the Think Tank Digital Holster 20 v2. It is just the right size for the D600 and allows me to either carry it by the included strap or hook it onto a belt. I intend on using it with a belt for photo trips and with the strap for my normal business trips. The Digital Holster 20 is extendable and it allows me to either bring a bigger lens or what I will likely do, bring a second lens. There is a velcro'ed separator in the case which can be used to either size the case to your camera/lens combo so that it doesn;t sink way down into the case, or it can be used as a separator so that another lens can be stored below the camera. Since the case lengthens I can fit at least another 8" of lens in with my camera and 50mm lens.

The quality of the Digital Holster is great although I do think it is a little pricey at $65. I do plan on picking up the Think Tank Pro Speed Belt V2.0 Modulus Accessory Belt for use with this case. And as long as you're reading this, I highly recommend the CARRY SPEED FS-SLIM CAMERA SLING STRAP. I also included some pictures of the case with the Nikon D600 in the user product pictures gallery.

Olympus Evolt Camera Gadget Bag

This bag is genuine Olympus and a high quality bag. I bought it to hold my Olympus E-510 which came with two lenses. I can fit everything that came in the E-510 kit (body, lenses, cables, manual and charger) into the bag. I can also fit my FL-36 flash (w/case) and two spare batteries. It's a tight fit, so if you like a lot of room for your stuff you should stay away from this bag.

About the bag... it has a permanent shoulder strap and permanent hand strap. To open the bag one must release both the front catch and the hand strap catch. There is a pouch with velcro closure on the front. Inside, the top has a zippered compartment with a see-through web front. The bag comes with two dividers one that attaches with velcro so it can be placed anywhere along the length of the bag. This divider also has a "wing" attached which can keep separate an extra lens. The second divider is u-shaped and can be used for a false bottom under the camera. It's good for storing the heavy cable and charger, mini tripods etc.

If you don't need a lot of room, this bag is just the ticket.

I bought this item as a recommended accessory for my new Olympus E620 camera. With a 14-54mm zoom lens attached to the E620,

there is just enough space in the bag for the camera + lens. No space for other lenses. The front pouch is also too small to be

of much use, except for holding spare batteries and one or two thin filters. The pouch is held closed by a small patch of

velcro, which allows small items to fall out on either side of the patch. This bag might be useful for a small point-and-shoot

camera, but not for a DSLR.

Excellent case for the Canon G1X. Nice functionality, good fit as well as adequate protection for the camera. I also like the way the bottom half stays on the camera during use, accentuating the grip and making the camera easier to handle. At a reasonable price, this is a good option for the G1X. Case seems to be well made and is a great value.

The camera case fits the camera very well. It has a retro/old school look to it. The only troublesome part is that you need to screw the bottom of the case off complety to remove the battery and the SD card. When taking pictures the top half of the case can be awkward if it stays snapped on; it is easier to take it off completely.

Best Deals for MegaGear "Ever Ready" Protective Black Leather Camera Case, Bag

The leather case for Canon G1X fits snug and perfectly. I am very impressed with the fit and finish of the product. The accompanying leather strap is a great addition as well and I like the vintage leather look that it gives in an era where we are so accustomed to seeing synthetic camera cases. The tripod attachment at the bottom of the case is a well thought out idea and works well. I use the tripod a lot and it is very convenient to not have to remove the camera from its case.

However there is one design problem. The case is a 2 piece item and I have to remove the top piece entirely to gain full function of the camera. Which defeats the purpose of a protective case. Besides this I am very pleased with the product

Honest reviews on MegaGear "Ever Ready" Protective Black Leather Camera Case, Bag

After I upgraded from the Canon G11 to a G1X, I was having trouble finding a small protective case for the somewhat larger new camera. I ordered both a black and a brown "MegaGear Everyready" case and when they arrived I was very pleased with the fit and quality. The shipping was fast and on time as usual from Amazon and most of thier partner vendors. I do not hesitate to reccommend this product or this seller.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for MegaGear "Ever Ready" Protective Black Leather Camera Case, Bag

The "Ever Ready" camera case works great for my newly acquired G1X. I like the fact that the top is removable for snapping off quick shots. The leather and interior lining are top quality IMO.

The only downsides that I've seen so far are the fact that the screen lightly rubs agains the base of the case when opening & closing, sometimes not allowing the screen to close all the way (or without bending the case unnecessarily), and the fact that I have to unscrew the base to get to my card and/or battery. This is a mild inconvenience, but, I've gotten in the habit of taking out my cards from all my cameras for archival & transfer purposes. A quick work around is to just plug in the USB cable, but... Lastly, the top of the case feels a little loose on the camera... the base is tight fitting even when not screwed into the camera, but the top moves around a bit too much for my liking.

Either way, I think it was a good purchase.

This item is very similar to those made by several other manufacturers. Comprised of a hard, industrial plastic shell that is tough enough for a 220 lb. man to jump on top of (if you know anyone like that.....ahem.....). Although I didn't sink the case to the bottom of the Atlantic, I did throw it into my pool for a couple of minute. The foam stayed bone dry on the inside.

The diced plucking foam (is that a word?) doesn't seem quite as high quality as that made by one of the "other" brands, but this case cost less than half the competition's case, so I will take it.

The only thing that seems less durable about this case is the handle. The handle built-in to the "other" brand's case is made out of the same industrial plastic found on the shell of the case. This case uses an "add-on" aluminum telescoping handle that probably won't stand the test of time quite as well as the body of the case, but this is pure conjecture on my part. I would definitely buy this case again, and I couldn't be more pleased.

I bought this to keep my Einsteins safe when they travel. Two Vagabond Mini's and two Einsteins plus cyber commander and other doodads fit just fine, I added extra foam pieces for additional protection. Next step will be to buy a foam block to cut to fit.

TL;DR at end :D

I use this bag to store my Canon L lenses, gripped pro-size body, prime lenses, and flashes. I use it as my carry on for airport travel and as a storage container at my house.

I love the price. I didn't need something that was a mobile doomsday shelter for my lenses but wanted something that would protect my equipment from impact damage, protect from humidity and minor water/liquid spills, and is lockable. It does all of these, which is great, and at a price cheaper than others it is a great deal. If you are a semipro, student, enthusiast, freelancer or are buying your own equipment, then it has a great price/performance ratio.

-It comes with precut foam-core which you can just rip along pre cut squares.

Downsides, things to know about it:

It does not seem watertight/waterproof. The name says water-resistant but the description says water proof. It is only resistant to water, aka i don't think it would be airtight when submersed in water. There isn't a rubber gasket around the lid. Another choice might be better if you are going to use this in scenarios where your case could fall into the water.

Extension handle/luggage handle is "meh" quality. It isn't the strong black plastic but is like grocery-store tripod quality. This really isn't an issue since I don't really care about that aspect of the box. Luckily you can dismount if from the box, if you need to, without compromising the integrity of the box.

To keep completely locked you should use two locks (i use tsa locks) because if you only lock 1 of the latches a potential thief could pry open the opposite side and steal a lens or two from that side.

TL:DR

Great for semi-pros and price conscious, only real downside is that it is not water tight, and you need to use two locks for maximum security. If your gear is in danger of being submersed in water, spend some more money for a completely watertight hardcase.

The RooCase for my digital polaroid is a very secure, snug fitting case. It's very snug for just my camera. I wonder if they make a larger case, other than that for just my particular camera which will also hold some accessories, such as extra batteries, memory cards, flash drives, and perhaps some cables for connecting my camera to my computer. The item arrived timely and in excellent condition, however.

It will be hard for anything to get hurt you put in this case, Hard to beat up a Pelican case. This 1720 ships with 1 foam on the lid and 2 foams on lower part. it has wheels but seems pointless...just pick it up. I was able to fit one ar15 and 1 870 shotgun.

I can't be more satisfied with this pelican 1720 case. After shopping around for a gun case at my local large chain sporting goods store I discovered that I could purchase a pelican for just $50 more (including shipping) than the only one I would have been interested in at the store. And, I ordered a size that fits my requirements better since the store only had the ones for full size rifles. You also have to take into account that I live in Hawaii, so I couldn't order it from amazon since they don't ship here, but instead purchased it from another company listed. Quality of the pelican is outstanding. You do have to cut the foam to your requirements, but it wasn't hard, and I would think that it creates a tighter fit than the type where you pluck out the squares. Overall, I am very pleased. This is the best you can get for the money. I'm just a little jealous of you guys who can order it from amazon and get the free supersaver shipping. That's the ultimate deal.

This item is one sturdy product. After recieving it I fitted the items I wanted in case by using a long blade box knife. Taking your time cutting helps but when done it will look nice. The foam is great and will do the job. I would recomend this to any one. JEFF

Honest reviews on Pelican 1720 Case with Foam for Camera (Desert Tan)

I bought a 1720 case and I am very impressed with its sturdiness. The foam is an issue, but I saw on youtube how to use an Proxxon Thermocut Hot Wire Cutter, which was not to expensive, and cuts foam rubber precisely and quickly. Since I have a few guns I will use this cutter more than one time. In time, cutting this foam for others could be a lucrative sideline.

The case is very high quality and I would recommend it to a friend. There are three layers of foam; Top (In the case lid), Middle (The layer you cut), and the bottom( Base layer). I used an electric carving knife when I cut my foam and in my opinion this is much better than trying to use a razor. Just remember when you trace your parts onto the foam you lay them out like a mirror image so you can flip the foam over after you finish cutting and hide your trace lines. You can shop online and upgrade the foam in this case. I plan to buy laser cut high density foam (Think pool noodle) now that I have all my dimensions figured out. Don't forget to buy a Desiccant pack.
