I have had this case for over a month and it has stood up to moderate abuse. Case is sturdy and more compact than the other models. The bonus screen protector was a plus. The case uses strong velcro to grasp the camera in place and the additional compartment holds cleaning cloth and other small items. Overall good product, I have seen more expensive ones in stores with lower quality materials.

UPDATE: Case protects well, but canopy clip broke off. I am still happy with the case.

I dig it! It's nice and sturdy. It fits the camera perfectly. I'm very pleased with it. I try not to rely on the carabiner because I don't trust a lot of them, but this one is holding up just fine so far!

I purchased the hard case in black for my Casio Exilim camera and it has worked out very well so far. It is compact enough to put in my purse without being too bulky and it is strong and sturdy enough to protect my camera from abuse. I was worried about getting the hard case because all my previous cases for past cameras have been made of the typical nylon, but I like this case much better. It feels much more durable. I like that there is a strap that hold the camera in place, even though there's not much room in there for it to move around since it is relatively small and perfect for my camera. I also like that it has a small pocket for additional memory cards, etc. Lastly, I like that the clip is optional; I probably won't use it unless I need to clip it onto something while I'm traveling and I can put the clip in the pocket inside so it's always available. Overall, I think this is a great compact case for a camera and I look forward to having it for a very long time.

I looked and researched so many camera bags for my Nikon D5100 before finally choosing this one. I'm a newbie to SLR photography, so I haven't had a ton of experience with camera bags. I am female though, so I've had a ton of experience shopping for handbags. That sort of counts, right?

A BAG TO GROW INTO: At any rate, I wanted my first bag to be fairly "comprehensive." I wanted it to be big enough to fit my current gear (Nikon D5100 with the kit lens and Nikon 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR AF-S DX) AND future gear (Nikon SB-700 AF Speedlight Flash and Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX Lens.) So I wanted a bag that would carry the camera, 3 lenses and a flash plus all the other accessories like spare batteries, etc.

POUCHES!!: There are two memory card pouches on the interior of the lid as well as a larger zippered compartment where you could store flat things like lens caps. There's also a front zippered pouch (bottom half) to stuff with other things like cleaning accessories, cables, etc. The front of this pouch will feel "poofy," because that's where the All Weather Cover is stored access that from another zipper along the bottom edge of the pouch. There is another front zippered compartment (top half on the flap) that would be suitable for less bulky items. The pouches on each side are also made of a somewhat stretchier mesh material with some elastic banding along the top to keep things from falling out. The zippered compartment on the back is really more suitable for papers or anything thin. Overall most of these pouches don't really expand a whole lot, so don't really expect to be stuffing anything super bulky in them. The side pouches will hold bottles of water though.

ZIPPERS & TOP COVER: I also wanted a bag that was secured with zippers (YKK), so that nothing falls out. I especially like how the top is designed with the flaps that hang over the top edge as well kind of like how the top of a shoe box fits over the bottom half. The design (along with the All Weather Cover) reduces the chances of water or debris entering the bag. There is also a plastic buckle that secures each half of the bag. Of course this does make it more time-consuming to get into the bag, but that was not a concern for me with this bag. ***I do wish the top cover opened the opposite way away from the body instead of toward. That would make it slightly easier to access the interior while wearing the bag, although you can just wear it with the front facing towards you.

QUALITY: The bag is sturdy nylon with strong stitching. Its not double-stitched all around but at the key points of weakness (top handle, side clips for the shoulder strap, etc.) The padding seems adequate. The interior divider padding is about 1/4" thick and the exterior padding is about 1/2" thick. The interior is also lined in a light grey that makes it easier to find things within the bag. The Velcro has a strong "stick" and there's enough of it for greater flexibility in configuring it. I wanted a quality bag, and I'm not disappointed. ***I do wish that the bottom of the bag had the water-proof EVA base like the Case Logic SLR bags have for extra protection.

COMFORT & CONVENIENCE: The bag is fairly boxy and bulky. This is definitely not a small bag, and I thought it might be a bit uncomfortable to wear, but its actually pretty comfortable even when loaded due to the nice wide strap (1.5") and shoulder pad with the non-slip backing. The shoulder strap extends up to 55" which gives about a 27.5" shoulder drop which is pretty substantial. If you prefer the top handle, its thick and cushy with a comfortably soft fabric on the underside. There's also a flap on the backside of the bag for sliding onto extended luggage handles for easier transport. Sweet!

OVERALL: I really love this bag. Its got a few features that might not make it super-easily accessible, but I wanted more of a "tanky and secure" nylon bag which could carry most of my gear comfortably. I didn't really buy this bag for "out-on-the-town-and-shooting" I bought the Lowepro Passport Sling Camera Bag-Mica for that. This bag though is great for when you want to bring more of your arsenal with you and keep said arsenal protected. I do really wish it had the EVA-clad base and the top flap opening away from the wearer, but we can always hope for the future. Sorry for the mini-novel, but I hope this helps some prospective buyer out there.

Before selecting this bag, I did several days of research of alternatives. This bag was a perfect match for my Olympus 500 DSLR, two lenses, flash attachment, spare batteries, and a number of accessories. The rain cover was a key decision-maker for the Lowe brand. Of special note is the number of external pouches to hold spare memory cards and flash batteries.

Great product! I Already had a Lowepro (top loader zoom), but with vertical grip my camera didn't fit anymore, at first the bag seems a little too compact, but actually works great.

I have a Canon 60D with 18-135 lens attached, facing lens down in the bag. Vertical grip attached too. The charger in there, a sun cap and a bunch of small accessories. There is still room for the flash and two lenses that will come at some point.

The two things I think are missing are a hard plastic bottom (it is probably fine, but doesn't make me entirely comfortable with my lens facing down), and even though there are plenty of inside dividers, I thing there are two sideway shapes missing, as well as Velcro on the side of a couple of the big ones.

My favorite camera ever was the last in a long line of Nikon manual focus film cameras, the FM3a with a 50mm f1.8 and a form fitting ever-ready case. I took that camera literally everywhere! This camera case was just what I was hoping for. I like the classic look, feel, smell, and ruggedness of leather. My camera is well-protected in it, so I can simply take my camera along at times when I don't want to take my whole bag. It doesn't seem to matter that there is no strap attached, for my camera strap comes out from under the case and is, therefore, easy to keep using. The case is screwed onto the camera at the bottom, so it feels secure. It also makes it easy to unsnap the case when I want to take a picture. The case simply hangs down, still attached but out of the way. (It would be very easy to take it all the way off, too). I am using it with my Nikon D5100, with the 18-55mm lenses attached. It works great, but I wouldn't use it for anything larger. *Added on: After using this case for the first time, on of the bottom snaps broke off. I will be sending it back for a replacement, with hopes that the next one will be better.

I was having difficulty finding a case for my new Canon SX30 IS that only fit the camera, and nothing else. I didn't need a camera bag, just a case. I ran across this case, and with no reviews took a chance.

The case itself works fine to cover/protect the camera. However, using it with a canon SX30 IS camera doesn't work out too well. You have to stretch/push the camera into this case, and in the process it is very easy to either hit the on/off button, or the photo preview button, causing the camera to turn on. If you hit the on/off button, the lens will come out while in the case, causing a terrible clicking sound coming from your new camera as the lens gets restricted from its designed movement. The case also isn't very easy to get on quickly, It probably takes a good 30-45 seconds to get it all wrapped up, and for my uses just isn't what I was looking for.

This case is well constructed and should offer a reasonable amount of protection for your camera. I use it with a canon Powershot SX40HS and it's a pretty snug fit. I like that the camera strap can still be used when the camera is in the case. I don't know if the camera would survive a fall with this case on, but it's better than nothing. I actually just use this like a sleeve and keep the camera in a camera gear bag which offers a lot more protection. The fit might be a little too snug for some people, but I think with time the case will "break in" to the camera.

A few of the reviews here have given bad feedback about accidentally turning the camera on when putting this cover on. I own a Powershot SX30 IS and this sleeve fits my camera like a GLOVE, which it was intended to do. Avoid turning the camera on when putting it in the sleeve: Put your thumb over the hot shoe, and fingers under the camera. With the other hand, pull the sleeve over the camera. I have NEVER had a problem with the camera turning on. Leave the strap hanging out of the cover, too. This sleeve is exactly what I need for toting my camera everywhere with me.

I like the innovative design. The material is strong and threadwork is good. Really, I just wanted something to protect my "tweener camera" Canon Powershot SX30 (not my DSLR and not my lightweight P&S) whenever I just wanted to throw it in my backpack while traveling. This is a fun, sleek case. The thick neoprene is somewhat stretchy, it's water-resistant, and provides some protection against scrapes and bumps. There is a zippered pocket inside that will fit an extra battery and SD card. The outer case flap holds securely together with velco, so it's easy to get the camera out for a quick shot. I prefer the envelope-style case, because you can hold the camera using it's own strap, while it's in the case. The lining is softly nubbed in a way that will protect against scratches to your LCD. This size (Compact Camera) is a good fit for my Canon Power Shot S95, and would stretch to fit a slightly larger camera. If you have one of the really tiny compacts like the smaller Canon Elphs, you will want to go down a size, to their ultra compact camera size.

I had fairly specific needs I wanted to use this for my Galaxy Note smartphone, and another reviewer indicated that it fit perfectly. The size is supposed to be 5.5" x 4.3" which would have fit my phone. The product I received is 4.9" x 3.9", which is much too small. Unfortunately I live in Canada I paid over $13 to have this shipped to me, it's not worth shipping back, so I paid $25 for an item I can't use. The design is lovely and the lining is very soft would have been great if the size was right.

I bought this case for a mini DVD Handy-Cam. I have many of the SwissGear products, and I really like their quality. Plus, they all match! This case will hold everything you need (charger, cord, DVD's, spare battery) but it's stuffed full. It's the best I've seen, and very handsome. Most cases look cheap and sleazy. It has a shoulder strap, which is handy. The top is a double zipper which is strange because both zippers open simultaneously. However, it leaves a wide opening which makes it convenient to stuff. This case is not highly padded, which makes it more compact.

We use a small sock to protect our 16mm lens, and keep the 18-55mm lens attached to the camera.

I've had the case for a few weeks now, and I like it. I keep my new HD camcorder in it along with all the cables for it. Without the extra space I would never have a place for all those cables, and I would probably lose them within days like every other camera I've ever owned. It seems to be padded enough for what it's for (protecting your camera). Could use some more storage pockets inside to keep cables separated and stuff. Also a common thing among camera cases is an SD card storage sleeve or slot. This seems to be missing here. Otherwise, nice case and I'll keep using mine for a long time.

I bought this product basically for two things: the screen protection and the tripod. The screen protection looks durable, I had to adjust it manually to fit my Kodak m580 camera, not big deal but it can be really a pain in the @ss if you're not careful. The tripod looks ok for now, but I think it would get loose with the time, so we'll see. The case is not bad, it's small perfect to take it in your pocket, so that was a really nice plus, it's not the best good looking case in the world, but it accomplish the purpose of protection. Anyway for the price, I think it's fair what you're getting.

I bought this Evecase® Black Medium SLR Camera Case for my Canon T3i since it is labeled as a compatible DSLR camera for this case. However, I notice that when I place my camera with the lens facing up (how it's shown in camera case photo), it fits very tight in this bag. When I zip it closed, I can tell that there is pressure exerted down towards the camera lens since its sticks up a little far on the top of the case. The lens that is on the camera is the standard one which comes with the T3i. It's the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens. It would fit better with a shorter lens or if you take the lens off. Other than this, I'm happy with the quailty of this bag. There are velcro segment walls which you can move and adjust inside of it to custom tailor and separate the space. Or you can chose to take the segment walls out completely since they are only held in place by velcro. The case is very small and compact but still has sufficient padding to help protect your investment. It also comes with an optional shoulder strap if you'd rather carry it around on your shoulder instead of using the built-in hand grip. I also like that it has many pockets. There are two zippered ones on both sides of the case and some pouches on the inside of the bag as well. These are very useful for carrying extra batteries, chargers, or memory cards. Overall, I'm happy with the quality of this case. Considering it's very affordable price, it offers lots of bang for your buck. The only improvement that would make it better is if they had made it taller, so it wouldn't fit so tight. Putting a DSLR with a telephoto lens in here would be out of the question... it wouldn't fit.

I use this with a canon eos rebel SL1. First BUY THE BIG VERSION OF THIS BAG. Note when you are buying there are two sizes availble. Get the bigger unless you have a single lens.

This bag does an excellent job fitting my SLR, 18-250mm lens, 40mm pancake lens, and tons of my small camera accessories (wipes, filters, remote shutter etc etc).

Perhaps more importantly is that the camera can rest on its base in this bag. Most SLR bags these days have the entire weight of the camera resting on the lens which is awful for it and the camera.

Anywys, the "large" version of this bag is still VERY compact perfect for someone who doesn't have a crazy amount of gear to carry around. Again, I would be cautious about purchasing the small version of this bag, especially is you have a normal-size SLR.

Fits the camera, that's the best thing I can say about it. It is useful to provide some protection to the outside surfaces of the camera in your luggage, in a box, etc.

It is not easy to put on, and once it's on the camera, the camera is significantly bulkier and is not usable. You must remove it almost fully before you can use the camera, it is not easy to remove from the camera, and you know it's going to be hard to put back on. You must remove it fully to access the memory card.

This item does not fit correctly. It is definitely too big. With the case on and looking at the back bottom there is a huge gap between where the back meets the bottom of the case. It also has quiet a bit of room between the camera and the flap covering the top. Also one side if the camera slightly hangs out side the case. This is bad because the camera could get scratched there. Do not buy this cheap product.

I love the fit and fell as well as retro style. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because you can't connect the camera directly to the computer with he case on. Not enough of an opening cut into the case. You will need to remove the card and use a card reader instead.
