This is a very nice quality camera bag for the I-Zone Polaroid cameras, but it will not fit the digital/polaroid combo. The price is excellent, the quality superb, but I will probably break even by sending it back and paying shipping costs.

I don't know if anyone has an i-Zone camera anymore, but this bag is a great carry case for it.

The design is cute and sleak, which is nice since camera bags are so often clunky.

With proper packing, the bag can even hold an extra film roll beneath the camera. Or it can hold spare batteries if you think you need them (I never had to replace the batteries in my camera for the year that I used it regularly). The bag has little room for extras, so make use of the space in the way that you think makes the most sense.

This bag was bought for me by a family member to compliment my FN SCAR 17s. Might I say first impressions were that this bag was more than I could ever have wanted and for this price tag I would've bought it myself. But enough of that let's get down into the details.

PROS

-As usual BLACKHAWK! delivers with outstanding product quality. No doubt in my mind that this bag will last long enough for me to hand it down to my children some day if that time ever comes.

-Plenty of room for a good length carbine. My SCAR fit really well in it almost like it was made for it.

-Padded upper and lower. On the inside of the bag where the zippers meet there is a thick padding that helps the bag keep it's shape. I set mine up so that the buttpad of my rifle sits firmly against this point. Sure it unbalances the bag a little but when I stand it in my closet with the buttstock down it keeps itself upright really easily.

-Velcro MOLLE style adjustment in the main compartment. On the inside of the main compartment there is MOLLE inspired webbing that allows you to move the velcro loops around to fit the gun ANY WAY YOU CAN IMAGINE. This is a great feature because it makes the bag modular and able to adjust to about any weapons platform.

-Great accessory outside compartment. The exterior compartment is lined with Velcro. Allowing you to put almost any style of mag pouch or anything else in it and then move it around depending on how your rifle is sitting in the main primary pouch.

-Accessories accessories accessories. This bag has a ton of features that aren't really listed that well here. For instance on the top and bottom of the bag there are really well placed metal D rings. One on each corner and one smack in the middle along the top and bottom edges. These could function a multitude of purposes but I mainly use them to strap the single carry shoulder strap onto. I could see me getting another shoulder strap and using this bag like an elongated backpack.

-The bag IS NOT MARKED in any way on the outside. This is key because there is no LOGO on the outside of the bag people will not know what you are carrying inside it. This is KEY for a conceal carry bag because unlike other brands that mark with a logo on the outside this does not. Because I know if I saw a guy carrying ANYTHING made by BLACKHAWK! I would know he was carrying a weapon almost immediately. It is something to think about.

CONS

-The exterior pouch doesn't zip ALL the way open. Yes I know this is petty but the outside pouch doesn't open all the way around. It opens about 3/4 of the way but will not fold over all the way. I don't know if this is a con but it is literally the ONLY thing I could think of as a CON after owning it for about 4 months now and taking it out to the range multiple times.

I have been using BlackHawk rifle bags now for many years. They provide EXCELLENT protection for your firearms and when you get tired of carrying it, you can strap it to your back. Overall, I think the case is fantastic for storing your GoPro and other small camera equipment and accessories, but it is a little unwieldy as a portable traveling case.

The lower zippered hard case part is wonderful. It fits a GoPro and some accessories nicely, and the hard shell protects very well.

However, the top part is a soft lunch-bag-reminiscent storage space that works well for cords and straps and such, but makes the case less compact and sleek as a portable case.

Perhaps a case strap would make it more appealing?

Overall, it's a good case for storing your GoPro (or other compact camera), but it's definitely not ideal for carrying around.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I'm generally a fan of Thule products. They are very well constructed and usually have a load of extra features. I have to admit this camera bag was initially puzzling to me. What am I supposed to fit in here, and why the lunchbag style top?

If you actually want to store a camera in the protective hard shell part of the case:

** Per manufacturer: "Designed specifically to fit GoPro, Contour and Sony action sport cameras"** In reality you can put any flat P&S camera in the hardshell case. I put my Sony RX100 in there, fits great. Plenty of room for accessories like an extra battery, cable, SD cards. Then the lunchbag style top can be used for whatever will fit, including snacks! I also tried a old Canon SX100, a clunky older P&S and an older Canon HF100 video camera (bulges out to top a little).

If you want to use this for a 4/3 camera:

I was able to pack my Panasonic G5 camera for a recent excursion. I placed the telephoto (45-150mm) lens (fir perfectly), a spare battery, a small 3D lens (or filters), and extra lens cap in the bottom. I put the G5 with kit lens (14-45mm) and strap in the lunchbag compartment. Granted, there is no protection for the camera, but I was merely using this as an organizing bag. Once I arrived at my destination, my camera spent most of the time out of the bag ready to shoot pictures. I DON'T think a Sony NEX will fit well due to the size of the lenses, maybe just the kit lens and extra prime lens.

If you want to use this for a full size DSLR:

That's not what the bag is intended for, and I doubt you'll get anything significant to fit.

Closing it up:

The 9 hook is a quick and easy way to secure the bag, but it would have been nice to have some kind of loop handle to make the bag easier to grab and carry.

WARNING:

1. If you put your SD cards in the slots (3 of them), make sure to enclose them in the small plastic case and touch something metal to discharge static electricity before using. The fabric is nice, but may give you a static charge residue that may destroy the data on your card. It probably would have been better to forgo the fabric in this case (though it is a nice tactile feel).

2. The Hardshell case is only for the bottom and sides. The top is thinner, and counts on the SD card flap and lunchbag bottom to provide cushion/protection.

This bag is very different from other camera bags (at least to me). I like how there is a hard section at the bottom that can fit the 2 GoPro's or a GoPro and the external battery charger. The media card holder is great for the microSD card adapter.

The top half is perfect to just throw all the different mounts you may haev for your GoPro camera, I fit my chest mount and handlebar mount and helment mounts in there with plent of room to spare. It is cool, how you can sinch it down, so the items inside don't rattle too much also makes the bag smaller. I definitely am happy with the bag. And the seller shipped it out quick and faster than stated.

Bought this for a Christmas gift. It shipped quick and was a great little bundle. Didn't need the blue rubber band, I would have preferred a 4gb memory card instead. A bright vibrant red. It's a soft shell case so as long as a car doesn't run over it, it will protect your camera just fine if dropped. It fit the camera perfectly (Canon PowerShot A3100is), has an inside mesh pocket and includes a wristband. It will get a lot of use. I really like the screen protectors as well.

Having greatly enjoyed the fine quality and convenience of Tamrac's Adventure 8 Photo Backpack , I eagerly purchased the Adventure 9 as a more versatile travel bag. I was especially interested in being able to consolidate my camera bag and computer bag into one unit.

The Adventure 9 certainly has more room than the Adventure 8, especially in the top compartment. The bag is sturdily designed and comfortable, and Tamrac have introduced some nice extra features. I like the removable inner pocket designed for carrying laptop and electrical cords, although it would be more convenient to have it adhere directly to the bag via Velcro, rather than having the cumbersome Velcro straps that lash to inner loops.

The padded camera compartment is easier to access than the Adventure 8, although one must be careful not to spill lenses and other equipment out on the ground.

The Adventure 9 is not all good, however. The see-through lined compartment has limited uses other than as a "collect all" pocket. Tamrac's special "Memory and Battery Management System" is pretty useless if if you utilize a memory case such as Gepe's CardSafe Watertight Memory Card Case . The memory management compartment just take up otherwise needed space.

Despite its larger size, the Adventure 9 has fewer compartments than the smaller Adventure 8. There are times when I would like extra compartments in order to stash small items and extra goodies, such as small bottles of sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and lens cleaner.

As a word of caution, the padded camera compartment is deeper than it looks in the advertisement photos. If your equipment is of standard size (in other words, not gigantic), you may have to be creative with the padded inserts in order to keep your gear from shifting or flopping around inside the compartment.

When accessing the camera compartment, the top quick release buckle tends to constantly flop down into the compartment. I'm constantly annoyed with it, shoving it out of the way to get to my gear, only to have it flop back into the way.

Both the Adventure 8 and Adventure 9 backpacks have waist straps. However, the Adventure 8 has a rear sleeve in which to stash the waist straps when not in use. For some unknown reason, this sleeve was not included in the Adventure 9 pack, leaving the straps to dangle needlessly below the bag. If it didn't reduce the bag's resale value, I would probably cut the straps off just to be rid of the annoyance.

According to the Tamrac website, the rear computer compartment holds 17" laptops up to 15 1/2" x 11" x 2". Most Apple notebooks run a bit slimmer than that, so access is not a problem. My computer, however, runs those exact dimensions and will not fit due to the compartment's zipper limitations. Tamrac should have designed a wider zipper opening for easier access. I'm fearful of forcing the computer, as it may tear the zipper or the compartment.

In conclusion, I was hoping that upgrading from the Adventure 8 to the Adventure 9 would allow me the same functionality as well as the added bonus of hauling a laptop. In the end, the bags shortcomings left a bad taste in my mouth.

Since I got this backpack several weeks ago, I made many trips, including 2 to Singapore. I brought along my Canon XTi (400D), its kit lens (18-55mm), one 28-135mm lens, one 70-200mm / f2.8 lens, one external flash, and a few other small accessories, one 17-in Dell D820 laptop, its charger and mouse. The total weight is over 24 lbs (11 kg). I find this bag much better than the Tamrac Adventure 7 and the Lowepro CompuDayPack, both of which I outgrew quickly. With the Adventure 9, I can access my camera, lenses and accessories, pretty fast. Yes, I do have to put the bag on the ground to get to the camera; But that's the price I am willing to pay for convenience of carrying so many things in one bag.

When in an airplane, I put this backpack in the overhead bin. It's securely out of the way of legs, feet, service carts, etc. Before leaving home or hotel room in the morning, I will make a decision on what to bring. For example, when I was in Singapore over a weekend, I left my laptop and its accessories in the lock box in the room. My backpack was considerably lighter. I was able to find a way to conveniently secure my monopod on the Adventure 9, went out to enjoy the city and took a good deal of pictures.

This backpack is well made. The quality of its materials and workmanship is very high. Its design makes its usage convenient. The features of this backpack are well thought-out. I feel secure carrying my photographic assets around.

The only issue preventing me from giving it a 5 star is the opening for the laptop. It is barely enough for a 17-in laptop; the zipper interferes with putting in or taking out the laptop, from time to time. It seems that the worst time for this interference to happen is at the airport security line.

Since my review above, I made many more trips to Asia & Europe, as well as within the US. I also upgraded my camera to a Canon 50D. And my company entrusted me with a slightly bigger laptop.

This Tamrac Adventure 9 I purchased back in 2007 still serves me well. It protected my camera, lenses and accessories through high humidity & high heat of Southeast Asia, high dry heat of the desert Southwest of US, extreme cold winter of the central Europe, and many types of weather in between.

I bought this to fit my Canon EOS 30D, EF 24-70 f/2.8L (attached to the camera), EF-S 10-22 & the EF 70-200 f/2.8L.

Does it all fit? Yep, but there's not a whole lot of room left over. I have room in the bottom for the 580EX Speedlite but that's about it.

The top on the other hand is a bit smaller than I would have liked. Sure it holds other stuff...and lunch...OR a sweatshirt...but it's pretty cramped. With a bit of mashing I can just fit a light sweatshirt and my Panasonic PV-GS150 up there but it's a tight squeaze to be sure.

It's comfortable to wear but could really be a little larger overall. And I wish there was a way to secure all the straps...sternum, etc. I don't need those all the time and without a few "ties" of some sort they just seem to be floppin' everywhere.

I only gave it 3 stars because while it really is a very nice backpack it really could stand to be a few inches larger all the way around...and be able to secure or remove the extra straps when not in use.

We recently took this backpack to Mexico, with a laptop, some camera gear, and even put some small portable speakers in the camera dividers. It was heavy but very comfortable to carry. All the gear was well protected but easy to access (handy for airport security!). I bought this Evecase® Black Medium SLR Camera Case for my Canon T3i since it is labeled as a compatible DSLR camera for this case. However, I notice that when I place my camera with the lens facing up (how it's shown in camera case photo), it fits very tight in this bag. When I zip it closed, I can tell that there is pressure exerted down towards the camera lens since its sticks up a little far on the top of the case. The lens that is on the camera is the standard one which comes with the T3i. It's the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens. It would fit better with a shorter lens or if you take the lens off. Other than this, I'm happy with the quailty of this bag. There are velcro segment walls which you can move and adjust inside of it to custom tailor and separate the space. Or you can chose to take the segment walls out completely since they are only held in place by velcro. The case is very small and compact but still has sufficient padding to help protect your investment. It also comes with an optional shoulder strap if you'd rather carry it around on your shoulder instead of using the built-in hand grip. I also like that it has many pockets. There are two zippered ones on both sides of the case and some pouches on the inside of the bag as well. These are very useful for carrying extra batteries, chargers, or memory cards. Overall, I'm happy with the quality of this case. Considering it's very affordable price, it offers lots of bang for your buck. The only improvement that would make it better is if they had made it taller, so it wouldn't fit so tight. Putting a DSLR with a telephoto lens in here would be out of the question... it wouldn't fit.

I use this with a canon eos rebel SL1. First BUY THE BIG VERSION OF THIS BAG. Note when you are buying there are two sizes availble. Get the bigger unless you have a single lens.

This bag does an excellent job fitting my SLR, 18-250mm lens, 40mm pancake lens, and tons of my small camera accessories (wipes, filters, remote shutter etc etc).

Perhaps more importantly is that the camera can rest on its base in this bag. Most SLR bags these days have the entire weight of the camera resting on the lens which is awful for it and the camera.

Anywys, the "large" version of this bag is still VERY compact perfect for someone who doesn't have a crazy amount of gear to carry around. Again, I would be cautious about purchasing the small version of this bag, especially is you have a normal-size SLR.

The case: Seems to be great so far, built tough, has a good seal and has two reinforced places to put locks. I only have two cameras, but have enough accessories for several (lol) and all has fit in quite well. You do have to be a little creative with how you pack certain things (tripods, additional batteries and chargers that you may have I have 3 tripods, 7 batteries and 3 chargers) and my case looks just as packed as the stock picture.

It is fairly easy to see this case wasn't thrown together over a coffee break. This case was well thought out, well designed and should serve the average GoPro-er well. Awesome!

If anything changes I will update this review. However, as of today I am a happy camper!

The materials and manufacturing are very good quality. The dimensions listed in the product details are the external measurements. The inside measures approx. 3 W x 3 D x 5 H. I read other reviews on this product saying it is a perfect fit for Canon S1, and I agree, although it is a snug fit. You wont have room for anything else besides the camera in the large compartment. You will have room for batteries, memory card, usb cable, etc in the front pocket, but you wont have room for any other larger accessories. If you want to fit a battery charger or lens adapters forget it, get the Tamrac Digital 6 instead.

I went hunting for a case for my new digital, the Canon Powershot S2 IS. Because the camera has only been on the market for roughly three months there are not a lot of cases designed for it. Additionally, checking the specs revealed that the S2 is slightly larger than the Canon S1. I bought this case on a hunch, and it paid off. The case fits the S2 just fine. When putting the S2 into the case the only place that catches briefly is the eyepiece, which doesn't prevent the camera from fitting, it just means a little wiggle as it goes in.

The case is remarkably well made, with room for additional cards and a set of 4 AA batteries in the front compartment. Overall this case is well worth the money, especially if you have spent days searching for a good case for the Powershot S2 IS.

This bag is pretty much exactly what I wanted. Fits my Canon S2 IS snugly and it holds the USB cord, my mini-tripod and 4 AA's perfectly. It's also protective enough that I don't have to worry about the camera during my weekly work trips around the country. No complaints here!

I have a Canon PowerShot S2 IS and this case fits the camera PERFECT! I can even leave the strap on the camera as long as I fold it neatly on top of the camera after I put it in the bag. I was looking for a bag with a snug fit and plenty of protection that wasn't too bulky to carry around all day. Plus have room for spare batteries and memory cards. This bag fits the bill perfectly! It also looks nice and is of quality construction. I don't know what the other reviewers are refering to when they said it was too snug of a fit. I have no problems inserting and removing the camera.

Granted, it's not made for the camera I have, and granted the camera i have is a little bit wider, but this actually comes recommended from many places as THE bag to have for the S2 IS and it does work...mostly. You have to push it in there to get it to fit and I've actually popped the lens cap off once or twice doing this. At times I feel as if I might accidentally turn on the camera and start extending the barrel inside the bag (which, of course, would be bad). Overall, this bag however is great. it has space for extra batteries and an extra SD card. I took this camera bad with me to central america for a week and it took some serious torture...and came out fine. Cheap price for quality protection for a $500 camera if you ask me.
