Not real leather, but excellent protection to camera. Fit is a drop sloppy. I don't know if other makes are tighter. Perhaps if too tight it would not fit around camera and allow everready use.

I tend to unsap the cover, leaving the body sleeve on when at an event and going to take many pictures. you can leave it on though. Take note that if you allow the swinginp portion of the cover to rotate too far it may block the lens when you power the camera on. You get a fault and have to restart the camera if that happens.

The battery and card slot are blocked in the case. For downloading picts to computer I work around by using a USB cable, or jsut go ahead and unscrew the casenot a big deal.

I mounted the camera on a tripod with the case onno problem until removal. I overtightened and had no way to unscrew. Used skinny pliers to hold the mounting knob while loosening the tripod mount.

The carrying case has a nice hard shell on the outside, covered by fabric. The inside has a holding strap for the camera and a place to put your pc connection and any extra cards or batteries. I absolutely love it.

I have a Sony W200 and I bought this case thinking on protection. After few travels, I realize this is a big case and is not practical at all, at least for travels. I suggest to buy a case that could be fit on your belt.

I bought this for my granddaughter to hold the Sony cybershot digital camera I bought her. Pink is one of her favorite colors and she likes it a lot. It is useful but not expensive.

The bag is well padded and the right size for the camera it's intended for (a micro 4/3 Olympus ILC camera and an external flash, another lens and the other necessary stuff. The problem is wit the fasteners. The bottom part that clips into the upper part on the flap is totally unsecured except with a heavy seam that is meant to hold it together. It doesn't work. I ended up sewing it so that it is secured, not totally satisfactory since there is no possible adjustment. If I had paid the full suggested retail price or if this were my primary camera I'd have sent it back. At $15 for the bag ($20.++ with shipping) I figured it would do.

I really like this bag, it has a nice leather finish and ample little storage zip slots inside to keep items such as SD cards nice and secure.

The only negative is that I wish it was a bit bigger, with the lens on my camera it really does not fit in the camera compartment, I almost have to always remove the lens in order to store the camera and lens... if I leave the lens on the bag bulges out and I fear if I drop the bag on the bulging area, it will damage the camera.

This case is very well built. There are 3 zippered compartments which can hold cords, memory cards, etc. There is one divider in the case. I am able to easily fit my Olympus OMD EM5 camera, with two lens and a flash. It fits in my carryon luggage. The only downside is, it is a bit heavier than I expected.

I bought this to hold my Iphone 5 while I bike. I put the phone in the case and then the case in a underseat bag while I bike. Without a case the phone fits snugly in the Pelican 1015. The lid closes and I have the piece of mind that if I have a tumble on the bike, the phone will probably be fine (hopefully I will be ok to use the phone after the fall...).

This is exactly what I wanted...a huge, rectangular bag with all the goodies. I wanted to be able to carry everything and have quick access to it all. Lots of pockets. My only complaint is that (and this applies to every camera bag I've ever bought) most of the pre-configured storage spaces seem to assume older skinny lenses not the fat ones I currently use. So, re-organizing the interior is a must.

I am a hobby or occaisional photographer.

I have been searching for a bag for 7 years off and on that offers the size, quality and, inginuity this bag offers.

When I started this quest digital was really taking hold and 35mm was almost obsolete. I have several Canon AE/AV series bodies, a truckload of lenses and accessories. (Most aquired in ebay auctions trying to get a single lens).

Years ago large pro bags were abundent, They became almost non existent due to the digital age as much less equipment was required to obtain the same goal.

One of the bags I obtained when aquiring likely a single lens was a Tamrac. I was very pleased with the bag but again, to small for the fortress of equipment I now had. (And for some idiotic reason I figured I should haul it all because I might actually take a picture).

Not wanting to carry 4-5 suit cases or a gross of SLR bags, I re-opened my quest to find the ultimate bag. Big enough that only one bag is required, but not so big that I would have to purchase a pack mule. I began looking only to find big bags are now made in backpack form or like a brief case.

Not happy with what I found online and many pro camera shops, I pretty much concluded that what I really wanted simply was non existent.

When I finally cleared my head from gross overload, I decided to search the Tamrac web site, and out of the blue comes the specifications of a bag so perfect that I was sure I was having a halusination. Big yet the size below pack mule requiremnt.

I went to Amazon and ordered this beautiful, LARGE bag.

Everything fit as I had hoped with room for a couple more filters, maybe some batteries and , who knows, another lens!. But I have a problem!

This new problem is I bought this so my wife and I had to only carry one bag, except she cannot lift the darn thing. New strategy!

I give away all my 35mm stuff and go digital. She gives me this beautiful bag, and with what I owned now is one EOS T2i, and two lenses. What am I going to fill this bag with???? BUMMER.... I have to buy more lenses, filters, more lenses, bigger lenses, more filters, batteries, cables, flash unit and, on sn on and on.

This bag is by far the best bag you gan get. As you can guess, I would not part with it but had to spend several thousand dollars to fill this thing in order to justify the bag size and cost to my wife. (not sure what she will say about all the other stuff I had to buy to fill it yet!)

The best thing is that is is 100% USA made. The quality, warranty and and desigh are unmatched. As I keep telling my wife, "it only cost a nickle more to go first class"! This bag is pricey, but well worth the cost.

I've had this bag for 5 years (purchased from Amazon) and it is my primary bag, I have a Tarmac Pro 12 for walking around. The 14 holds 2 bodies and 8 lenses, two strobes, filters and such. With it full of goodies it needs 2 men and a boy to carry around. I love it period! This bag has been rained on, sat in icy cold water, and nothing in the bag has ever been wet or even shown the first bit of moisture. The slots for media are great, and it even has a pouch for a light meter should you carry one (I do). But then I earn a living with my cameras. If you have a bunch of equipment Tarmac bags are great!

After ordering one of these without ever having seen one I found this bag to be quite useless. The dividers are only 2 3/4" wide. My smallest lens is 3" wide with most of them being allot larger. What are the compartments made for? Small slow lenses I guess. If you have fast lenses, long lenses with tripod mounts, or lenses with big lens hoods you can forget about this case. There is also a big plastic compartment sewn into the lid that will close down on top of whatever is under it, which is a bad idea. Make sure you try one out first if you are set on ordering it.

I got this case recently for a new small camera purchase I made and I love it. I have several Lowepro cases for my larger gear, and although they can seem to be overpriced compared to other brands, the quality more than makes up for the price difference. This case is no exception. It is very basic. It has a main pouch for the camera, and a little pouch to hold a couple memory cards and/or an extra battery. I also keep a small microfiber cloth to clean my lens and screen in that pouch.

One thing I didn't see when looking at the specs for this bag is the belt clip that is built into the back of the case, it has a snap and velcro so you don't have to remove your belt to put it on or remove it. Very useful but it does add some extra thickness to the case.

These days there are so many bags to choose from. When shopping online it can be hard to find the perfect bag for your particular camera. I am using mine with a Canon Powershot 870is, and it fits perfectly, if that helps anyone. Most of the new small powershot cameras are a similar size, so they would probably work fine with this bag.

Bought this for a little Sony five years ago and it's been perfect. I carry a camera where ever I go and this holds the camera, spare battery and memory card. I've used it fastened to my shoulder bag strap, loose in my bag and around the neck w/the neck strap. Minimal wear to the material, no problems with fasteners or velcro all these years which is saying something because I'm always pulling my camera in and out several times a day. Very nice and functional bag.

Something looked familiar about the picture of the gorilla. I took out my camera case which I've been using to carry my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX9V 16.2 MP Exmor R CMOS Digital Still Camera with 16x Optical Zoom G Lens, 3D Sweep Panorama and Full HD 1080/60p Video for more than a year and its the same Ape case! I love this case and its a perfect fit for the HX9V BTW. I look inside the case and it says AC120.

This case is as basic as it gets. It has a flip-on cover with a tough velcro and a belt clip. Its so much easier to get the camera in and out of the case. No zippers to mess with. I think it includes a strap, but for such a small case, I think the strap is useless. It does not have any pockets. Since my hx9v's superb battery lasts so long, I've never felt the need to carry a spare. And nowadays 8GB cards are so cheap, one will rarely run out of space. So, why does a case need to have pockets anymore? Unless the camera is a S100 or S110, LOL. Those tiny cameras eat up batteries like my kid gobbles up all the cookies on a plate.

Since this sellers' product description does not include any numbers other than 'small' and 'medium', which, by the way, are pretty much useless...I can only conclude that the AC120 is the small and AC145 is the medium. If my assumption is right, here are the dimensions from the ape cases website. if these are wrong, someone please let me know and I'll edit it.

Having just bought a new digital camera, I wasn't about to take it out of the house without a good case to protect my investment. I tried on an Apecase AC120 for a test fit. My camera nestled in snugly with velcro holding the cover down tightly, yet the case opens quickly when I want my camera. With the belt loop holding the thickly padded case at my side I don't need to worry about my new camera. A neat feature about the AC120 is the yellow interior. If you've ever tried to put a black camera into a black case at night you'll appreciate this as I do.

Needless to say this camera case came home with me. Now I'm off to buy another AC120. When my daughter compared my new case to the one that came with her new camera she had to have one too.

A great case for the camera, but only the camera. Pictures included show a zippered pouch (the reason I bought it). When I received the case there was no zipper anywhere on the case. Yes I know it does not say it has a zippered pouch, but I was going by the idea that the picture they provided was worth a thousand words.

The case is advertised as being 4" deep and the Canon SX280 is 4.19" long. Price was low enough that I took a chance. Glad I did. But I'd have gladly paid twice as much if it had small pockets on the sides for a battery and a card.

Well made and I like that the belt loop is securely sewn at both ends instead of Velcro at the bottom.

Best Protective Camera Case Bag Cover Protector for Sony NEX F3 Camera Deals

Took a chance on ordering this item for my wife's camera. This type of case is very difficult to find for the Sony NEX cameras. I was pleasantly surprised when the case arrived, as it appears to be sturdy, well-made and adequately padded to protect the camera. My wife likes it because she can leave her camera in it and just release one snap to pop open the front of the case when she uses the camera. This will help protect her camera as she wears it around her neck or keeps it in her bag, so she's happy to not have to carry her regular camera bag everywhere. She is getting ready to take the camera on a two-week sightseeing trip, so we'll see how it performs during that time and I'll update this review if the case doesn't live up to our expectations.

The case installed in seconds simply by turning the bottom thumb screw to lock it into the camera's tripod mount.

The case includes a matching red neck strap that can be attached to the camera if desired (not to the case itself). For now, my wife decided to leave the default Sony strap on her camera, as it is a bit wider.

In summary, so far we are very happy with this case and would recommend it for anyone with a Sony NEX F3 camera.
