I bought this case to go to Myanmar with two Nikon FX bodies, 3 lenses including a 70-200, 28-300, and 16-35 as well as flash, small laptop,2 external drives, battery charger and many plugs, cables and adapters. My experience was as follows:

PROS build quality is excellent as one would expect from Think Tank. The split strap allowed it to be piggy-backed on my rolling suitcase. The size attracted absolutely no attention as a carryon on the international flights. The top zipper makes it easy to remove just the cameras. The external pocket worked well for airport security when I had to pull out my laptop.

CONS It was too wide to roll down the plane aisle so I had to carry it sideways and try to pretend it didn't weigh very much. It was too deep to fit in the overhead bin on the Yangon Airways regional plane (approx. 80 passenger ATR 72 turboprop). Friends with an Airport International and an Airport 4-Sight had no problem. I couldn't fit it even with the laptop removed from the external pocket. I did manage to cram it under the seat with difficulty but came very close to having to hand it over to the crew to stow or check.

As a result, I am going to buy the Think Tank International before I go to India and travel again on regional planes. I still really like this bag and will use it in the States.

I've been waiting for a bag like this for nearly 20 years. What I mean is that I love the idea of a top loader; a bag that allows me to roll from one place to the other, quickly access my gear on the fly, without always needing to drop the bag down, unzip, open, zip, pick up, etc. I had looked at a few but nothing had ever fit the bill...until now!! The Navigator is exactly what I had always been looking for!!

It never has to leave the upright position, and I can even roll it from one spot to another with the top unzipped. From the top, I can access two bodies with lenses attached(even the 70-200) on the fly! And from the front access panel, I can easily get to all of my other gear, laptop, and iPad.

Right now, as I write this review, my navigator sits there with two bodies, a 70-200 and 24-70 both attached, plus a 16-35 2.8, 50 1.4, 35 1.4, 85 1.4, a fisheye, and two flashes, all comfortably inside the bag, without even using the outside stretch pockets. Oh, and I even have a charger, camera and AA batteries on the inside as well.

With over 20 years as a photographer, and over 10 as a professional event photographer, I can safely say, this is by far the best bag I've ever owned; I may even buy an extra one to keep in the closet in case it's ever discontinued! Thank you ThinkTank!!!

Wonderful combination of utility, quality and usefulness. Rollers provide the ease of use and the internal flexibility of the customizable dividers allow for individual's to fit it to their needs. Excellent product from a great company.

Very well made bag. Holds a Lenevo T510 which is a bigger laptop than the 15.4 since it has a huge battery that sticks out on the back. I can use it for camera gear or take out the inserts for just work items.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Think Tank Airport Navigator, Photo Airport Roller Series, Black

I had been using a Think Tank Urban Disguise 60 bag, fitted with a Kata Insert Trolley when traveling. I prefer the top down design and both bags allow two bodies with lens attached, straight down into the bag, plus several lenses below. The thing I didn't like about the UD 60 is that it is difficult to get to the items below, because there is not a side access option. The Navigator solves that problem, and gives much better top access with the flip lid, vs the center zipper on the UD 60.

This bag is exactly what I've been looking for, I feel like they custom made this bag for me, addressing each of the issues that I had with the UD 60. It's great for location shooting because the top access means you don't have to lay the bag flat on the ground to get to your gear, and the built in wheels are awesome. If you need a lens that is stored below, unzip the side access panel and it's right there. This thing fits a ton of gear and gets quite heavy, but don't they all?

I just picked up this great simple little camera bean bag. I've taken it on a few snowshoe trips in the Sierra's and it's worked out great. Makes my trip much easier if I don't have to strap a bulky tripod to my backpack. Sturdy construction and with the handles it straps easily to the outside of my backpack. It rests nicely on most rough surfaces and gives me a stable place to shoot with my Canon SLR.

I've even had a few "hey cool, what's that?" comments from people on the trail. I wouldn't have expected that from a bean bag.

If I'm going ultra light I pack it with polystyrene beads which I took out of my kids large bean bag seats. If I'm in a green eco mood and want a little more stability I pack it with rice. With rice it also serves as an emergency back up meal if I get myself into trouble out on the trail:)

The Wild Grizzly bean bag works really well on long trips. It was light weight and held the camera steady in all types of terrain. During a trip to Yellowstone it was perfect on fallen trees, on tree limbs and rocks. I was able to leave the tripod in the car. I was surprised that it held my longer lens well with no movement. I especially enjoy using the car as a blind and using the Grizzly on the window to shoot. Great product. My wife who sells on Ebay also uses the Grizzly to photograph her items that are for sale.

I have a new eBay store and take my own photos to post. I was finding it difficult to get the picture quality I needed. I purchased one Wild Grizzly Bean Bag to experiment with and it helped me stabilize my camera perfectly! I get clearer pictures now, faster than ever, without using a tri-pod. Also, I have purchased the larger one to take with me in the car. I find a lot of great scenes to photograph when I go on road trips and need to capture them quickly. I simply park along the roadside, put the window down, place my camera on my Grizzly Bean Bag and shoot! I'm a satisfied customer!

Honest reviews on Grizzly Camera Bean Bag (Medium-Blue), Photography Bean Bag, Video

I wanted something super light weight to traveling. I filled this with the same little beans you use to fill a bean bag. So it is very light. I have a Canon 60D and was wondering if it would really hold its weight. But I was able to put this on the back of a chair (patio chair on cruise balcony) and it balanced fine even with my Speedlite on the camera. I am very pleased as this is much easier to carry than my heavy tripod.

This bag is great for in the field work. I shoot video using the Panasonic P2 cards, and I needed something I could take on the road and use with a couple of hard drives. With this bag there is space for everything. I keep the hard drives in the pouch where they stay connected to the computer. When I need to download, I just open it up, pop the card in and go. Nothing needs to move. And it's great having the stiff outer shell. I just got back from shooting in South Africa and the bag held up great.

I have an Optio camera that is rugged as is but after a recent hiking trip discovered some scratches in the LED view screen. I opted to find a compact elastic case that will also house extra batteries and memory card. This case fits the requirements perfectly! I admit the camera was thrown in my knapsack along with a few hard objects!

I can't say enough about this camera carrying case! It is inexpensive, durable, light as a feather, and has been to Alaska with me. It has traveled more places than many people! It is everything it is advertised and more! Absolutely love it!

This case is a nice fit for my Panasonic DMC-FH25 kind of snug, with a little bit of room. Just what I was looking for. The red is slightly brighter than pictured (at least as the colors came up on my monitors) but I'm happy with it.

For the specific vendor, the product came within the window of time specified in shipping, but took a while to leave the shop (it was ordered on Dec 25). No problem, just something I noticed because most other Amazon vendors have lightning-quick turnaround (another product from another vendor that I ordered the same day/time arrived on Dec 28, this one shipped on Jan 1).

Best Deals for rooCASE (Flamming Red) SLV2 Neoprene Sleeve Carrying Case

I bought this for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH25 and it fits just right.

* The pocket on the outside is small so don't expect to be able to store many accessories in there. I can keep an extra memory card in there or an extra battery, but nothing else. This should be the slim case that you use when you're on the go--in a small purse, bag, etc. You will need another case or system to store your battery charger, computer cord, etc.

* I like the wrist strap but I do wish it had an adjustable clasp on it so I was able to tighten it to my wrist or whatever I am attaching it to.

* Will show dirt but seems to clean easily. I havn't had a major stain on it yet, just small spots.

* Zipper is sturdy, which is great. It's terribly annoying to buy a case for something oyu wish to protect and have the zipper fail.

* If you attach the wrist strap to your camera you will need to place it in the case with the strap hanging out where the case zipper closes because it's a pain to try to tuck the strap in to the case each time. But that's not difficult.

Overall, a nice case that certainly serves a purpose for me!

A cute little case that fits my Lumix just right. I wish it was like my other, though; in that the zipper didn't wrap around to the bottom.

I was looking for a drop-in camera bag that is not bulky for my HS20EXR. This is a good quality bag but the camera does not fit well. You REALLY have to mash it in the bag to get it to fit. I do not recommend this for this particular camera model.

It's a little bigger then I needed but that is fine, it gives room for accessories. The brush is great to dust from getting trapped on lens but you'll want to get a screen protector.

After trying a few box like bags, I looked for a messenger style bag that would be at once more discreet and efficient. The box like bags are more difficult to set up and waste space, unless you have tons of gear, in my opinion.

What I have in this bag:

D40 camera with attached tripod QR plate.

Kit lens 18-55

Lens 55-200

Lens 30mm prime

Small SB400 flash

Filters.

It all fits in perfectly. The D40 + 55-200 with the hood attached also fits in perfectly because of the depth.

Build quality is good and is comfortble to lug around.

Caveat: Other than the flap, there is no other, inner, cover. I.e. you open the flap and expose the camera. I was a bit scared at first, but the design works very well. There is a short tab on each side that helps contain your gear and makes sure nothing can fall out. This also explains why the carry handle is sewn to the back of the bag and not in the center/top.

Bottom line, everything is secure, but easily and quickly accessed, explaining why the name of this bag is "Express"...

I was considering between this Tamrac express 7 and crumpler 5 or6 Million dollar bag and I ended up choosing this one since it is almost only half of the Crumpler price.

This is a stylish bag that doesn't look like camera bag, light, big storage room and lot of pockets for filters, cell phone, MP3..etc

Khaki color appears better than in the picture too.

I am able to fit

1.canon 350D with Zeiss Jena 35mm/2.4

2.580 speedlite flash

4.50mm/1.8

5 sigma 10-20mm with hood

6.canon 28-135mm/4.5~5.6 with hood

that is 1 body +4 lens + 1 flash !

this bag is way better than advertised. Highly recommended!

Best Deals for Tamrac 3537 Express 7 Camera Bag -Black

I needed a bag that does not really look like a Camera Bag, is small enough to carry around and holds my most important gear.

The Tamrac Express 7 came closest to what I wanted.

After the box arrived I was a little puzzled as to how small the box was but hey, it's a soft bag.

The bag itself seemed a little small for my needs and I was not sure how I can make the stuff I needed to carry around fit. But to my surprise it fit OK. Snug but it worked.

Here is what I have in there (usually)

Left side: Canon 580EX Flash with diffuser attached

Middle Bottom: Canon 50mm 1.8 prime lens

Middle Top: Canon EOS 40D with Sigma 17-70 with hood

Right side: Canon 70-200L with hood

Various Memory Cards and stuff in the front zipper.

The overall quality of the bag feels very nice and it carries very well.

The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that I wish it was just a tad larger for todays SLR Cameras.

Honest reviews on Tamrac 3537 Express 7 Camera Bag -Black

I am a professional photographer and I debated endlessly about this bag. I wanted something that would carry my 5D, 24-70L and 70-200L with hoods.

Unfortunately this bag is way too small.

Further with the included lens hood, it is virtually impossible to pull a lens out of the bag.

Why did I give it 5 stars? While it didnt meet my needs I think it is perfectly suited for someone that owns a small dSLR such as the Canon Rebel XT/XTi series. The construction is top notch and it looks great. Just not big enough for a pro.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Tamrac 3537 Express 7 Camera Bag -Black

The bag itself is well made and padded and has enough space for me to carry my two DSLRs with telephoto lenses (30D with Sigma 70-300 DG APO and 450D with 70-200 f/4L), and an assortment of extra batteries and memory cards. However, when the DSLR/lens combo is stored with the lens pointing down and the lens hood on backwards, it's awkward and difficult to pull the camera out with one hand because the lip of reversely attached lens hood always gets caught on the velcro strip that runs about 2" below the bag top, parallel to the bag top.

The shoulder strap also isn't particularly comfortable, and the thread holding the rubberised area over the extra padding for the shoulder is already becoming to come undone (only had the bag for two months, and used it for maybe 3 outings). I'm going to go to a travel goods store and see if I can get a replacement strap.

I'm a grandmother who doesn't care if she's not "hip" and modern. I want functionality, comfort and quality! My Tenba bag is... First: Not black. Every other camera or lens or tripod bag/case I have is black. I travel with other photographers who carry various bags yes, all black. This blue is gorgeous, bright, happy and so-o easy to spot! Second: Very well made product. Even the zipper pulls feel substantial. Third: Well thought-out before the rush to market! Love Kata but Tenba, for the items they make, rise to the top! My Canon T3i, additional (70-300 zoom) lens, and hood fit inside easily. Little stuff in the pockets and it closes securely to keep it all safe.

Found this on Amazon as a "used" item for a GREAT price less than $40.00 so took a chance. Impossible to tell it was used as it looks brand new. While large, it fits my items like a glove camera four lenses small tripod filter case cleaning items with room for more if I decide to pick up another lens or light kit. Quality is excellent and love the color, too. And, it carries well on my shoulder doesn't keep slipping down if I don't cross body it. Comes in smaller sizes but with all my camera toys, this works great. They have other colors available so if you hate basic black like I do, check out this brand. They have a killer light blue that I might have gone for had it been available at the same great price.

Best Deals for Tenba Vector Shoulder Bag 3

I just got this bag ... "Tenba Vector Shoulder Bag 3" ... and at the new lower price point it is an even more incredible value. I got it in Olive. It is not the fluorescent olive that appears in the photos. It's a more subdued military type light olive color. It has a nice matching shoulder strap with non slip padding for the shoulder. This padded camera bag has enough padding and stiffness to let it stand up on its own, but enough give on the sides to let you pack it up with all your lenses and camera body and accessories. The finish of the cloth, the zippers and latches are very well made and look like they will hold up for a long time.

There are 2 short and 2 long movable padded dividers that attach to the inside walls of the bag and/or to each other with velcro strips. I have arranged them into 5 sections that hold my Nikon D3100 DSLR, three prime lenses, one zoom lens and a 200mm telephoto lens in a leather tube case, and have room to spare. I also have my battery charger, filter cases, usb and hdmi cables, extra batteries, memory cards, etc in the bag. If I had a separate flash unit and lens hood, I could fit those in the bag as well. There's three extra zippered pockets on the front, back and flap of the bag, plus small non zippered compartments on each side of the bag. There's a velcro secured compartment for memory cards and a slim open compartment where I keep my lens cloth in the inside lid. It even came with a free lens cleaning cloth, and a removable waterproof cover (cloth, not plastic) which covers the bottom and sides of the bag, has cutouts for the shoulder strap and hand strap, and secures at the top of the bag with velcro tabs and elastic sides.

The Amazon vendor I purchased this from, Cameta Camera, processed my order immediately and even responded to an email of mine in less than 24 hours with a personal response. A pleasure to deal with.

The camera bag that I bought was too small for the Kodak z1015is camera that I bought it for. The camera will go into the bag but it is such a tight fit that the bag is basically unusable. I am not sending the bag back because it is not worth the shipping cost or effort to return it. The Kodak z1015is camera is a fairly new camera that is a 15x optical camera and even though the camera bag was advertised as being the right bag for this camera it is not. The actual camera bag is an ok bag -just too small for the Kodak z1015is camera.

Up front: No one bag will do everything. But for shooting on the go--in cities or while hiking--this is the best compromise I've found so far. And, believe me, I've got a closetful of shoulder, waist and backpack camera bags.

I bought the Inverse 200 because I found my Lowepro Photorunner just a tad tight when I needed to carry anything more than my D80+mounted medium zoom+a single small spare lens. I still use and like the Photorunner, especially with just the body+small lens, but the Inverse has severage advantages:

* I can carry the above gear, plus a flash and a digital recorder with enough space to actually pull things in and out as I'm working. If you have to cram stuff into a bag, you eventually stop using it.

* The belt is padded, which makes a big difference if you wear the bag all day. And it's comfortable worn up front with the bag at my stomach. With the double-zip top, it works like a shelf: I can swap out gear without ever removing the bag.

* Unlike the Photorunner, it has a two straps, with quick-releases, that run across the bottom, which I sometimes use to carry a light-weight tripod or light jacket.

* It has a decent sized front pocket that flips open enough to use--unlike the Photorunner's unpleated, flush-mounted pocket. And the snug-up section between the pocket and the main compartment easily holds a light wind-rain shell, hat, and gloves. I've never had anything fall out of that area, but then I always snug up the straps before setting off again.

* It comes with the AW (all-weather) cover, which is important if you're out hiking in the rain (or caught in a city downpour for that matter). It also provides a key dust barrier when you're in windy, desert conditions.

Some reviewers have dinged the bag's double-zip top, wishing it was a single U-shaped zipper. Having used the bag now for eight months, I find it works better than a single zip (or even the Photorunner's two parallel zips that are connected by a handle). There's a small strap-loop at the end of Inverse's top flap and you can pull it open easily with one hand (because the camera's in the other hand). And with two zips, instead a single U-shaped one, the zipper tabs are always at the same end of the bag. No feeling around for where the zipper has shifted. For super quick access when you're not running around, you can even just pull the outside zip shut.

The Inverse 200 will accommodate a 70/80-200 zoom mounted but by the end of the day, you'll wish you'd left the lens behind.

One last thing: you can tuck the waist strap away and carry it by the handle or use the strap. One strap tip: the connection points are about 5 inches apart, which makes it feel tippy. Instead, I connect one end of the shoulder strap to the outside flap's snug-up strap.

Reading other reviews of this bag, I almost didn't buy it. But I am very happy that I did.

Because of one review I read, I was concerned that it would "flop" open. Or that it would be "huge".... or too small. The one reviewer that said their gear looked like it might fall out everytime they bent over.... all I can think is that they must have been doing weird yoga moves because I find that the bag does nothing of the sort. Things are very secure in this bag.

And, as far as the size....... Well, I guess I'm Goldylocks.... because this bag is JUST THE RIGHT SIZE! I wanted something to carry a few of my photographic needs for extended walks, hikes, short trips, etc. I like lumbar bags or as some call them "fanny packs" because your equipment is so very very much more accessable than in a back pack. I often wear the thing in front and everything is immediatly accessable. This bag is just the right size. You don't want to load any bag with so much gear that it weighs you down. And, the belt can be tucked in and you can use it as a small shoulder bag with the shoulder strap. Or you can carry it as a small hand bag by the hand straps if that's what you prefer. If I'm going to do a big photo shoot and I want all of my gear, I take a much larger bag that holds all of my lenses (I have 7) and all of my accessories etc..

I find that in the Inverse 200AW I can carry my D300, a few filters, lense cleaning gear, my two do almost anything lenses: 70-300 and my 16-55, several memory storage cards, a tripod clamp, and a few small accessories ....with plenty of room to spare for a light wind breaker and I can clip a water bottle on the outside. or stick a small one in one of the mesh pockets)

I think the Inverse 100 would be more appropriate for a one lens carry or a point and shoot camera bag.

I like all the features of this bag. The built in rain cover, the outside pocket, shoulder strap, etc to name a few.

It is very well built and thought out. I would definently buy this bag again.

This is an excellent camera bag. But as with any camera bag you need to buy the right one for your type of shooting. I have three young children and when I have a diaper bag slung across my neck, an SLR camera strap around my neck, and a pair of sunglasses on a neck strap, the last thing I want is a camera bag also slung across my neck (though my wife says that I pull off the Sherpa Look quite well).

As an amateur SLR shooter I need a bag that is portable and comfortable so that I will want to carry the camera with me. As an amateur on a budget, I choose to buy quality prime lenses (24mm/f2.4; 50mm/f1.8; 85mm/f1.8) and one ultra wide angle zoom (10-24mm/f4) that I now have to fit into the bag. (All of these lenses combined were less than the cost of one wide aperture zoom lens.) But the tradeoff is that I need quick access to the lenses to swap them in and out. This bag give me that access with some key features:

1.) The one handed pull-top to open the main compartment of the bag. Please note that by pulling one of the two zippers on the top `around the corner' you effectively disable this feature. Useful for sketchy locations and nosey three year olds...

2.) The Velcro on the wall of the bag is 7 inches wide. So if I have to move the dividers a little to accommodate a lens, I have a lot of options and can do it quickly. (I have access to old cannon lenses from my film days that I occasionally carry.)

3.) If you install a small cord connecting the two zippers across the top of the bag you effectively have a one-handed closure system as well.

4.) The waist strap and other waist strap adjustments let me set the bag up so it doesn't sag. That `shelf' makes changing lenses easy as well.

5.) With my camera in the bag `nose down', there is just under 5" of depth from the front of the camera body to the bottom of the bag. Plenty of room, even with a zoom lens attached.

Some other features to note:

The stretchy side pockets on the outside of the bag are different sizes. One could hold a water bottle the other could not.

Both of those pockets get squeezed by the straps that attach to the waist belt. So a water bottle could get crushed if you really cranked down on the straps to pull the bag up tight.

There are two tie-in points on the waist strap where you could attach external lens cases or a tiffen filter case. The tie loops are sown one on top of the other so it hard to see that the bottom webbing is a 2" wide tie in and the top webbing is 1". Very clever and well thought out. I like to tie in to the thicker webbing so the external cases don't bounce/swing as much.

Once you mount something on those tie-in loops you can't tuck the fanny straps away.

This is a well-made bag. I am happy to own it and would buy it again if I had to do it all over again.

Honest reviews on Lowepro Inverse 200 AW Camera Beltpack (Arctic Blue)

The bag is great, I am using it during my sport events but...

The waist lock opened up when I was getting to the action position.

They should get a lock like we have in the cars,it would be much stronger.

Because of this accident I started using the shoulder strap with the waist one together ,the bag works much better that way for me.

Otherwise it is build very well, protects my cameras very well.

I have 2nd body w/my 200mm there,Canon 580 flash, batteries and card. I like this bag but the waist lock should be stronger and that is why I can give only 4 stars.

I purchased the Inverse 200 AW before a trip to Italy with my family. It held all of my electronic gear as a carry-on (SLR, 2 lenses, GPS, memory card holder, ipod and charger plus more). Once I arrived and emptied the non-camera gear, there was plenty of room for a small camcorder and my sunglasses so I didn't need a day-pack. I used it as a belt pack and shoulder bag depending on the location we were in and the folding flaps were quite useful there.

My biggest complaint is that the outside pouch is not very useful and makes the entire package more bulky than it needs to be. The pouch also houses the All-Weather cover which just adds to the bulk.

A minor complaint is that there is no string connecting the two zippers. It would be easier to open if you could grab a cord and open both at the same time. Closing it would be much easier as well.

All in all it's a great bag and could use some minor improvements in the next version.
