This was a wonderful buy. It perfectly fits my Sony A230 DSLR camera, two lenses, flash attachments, and all my miscellaneous gear. The buckles are easy to use and the bag works well either from my shoulder or sitting on a table.

This was an average and nice bag. It was just not as sturdy looking, in person, as I'd expected it to be. It was also a lot bigger than I need. Otherwise, it is good for the money.

Think Tank ~ Retrospective Lens Changer 3, Pinestone

When is a camera bag not literally a camera bag? It is when you end up using a lens changer bag. This bag is radical and it is practical. The whole concept is that a camera is meant to be OUTSIDE of a bag, as in shooting photographs, while the other lenses need to be protected and be immediately accessible.

When I upgraded from the much smaller Pentax gear to the Nikon D700 and FX-sized lenses, my prior camera bag soon became became too small and functionally impractical. At the same time, I didn't want to carry around a soft suitcase. This is where the Lens Changer concept comes in. Like all Think Tank equipment, the quality of workmanship is outstanding. Furthermore, even when carrying three heavy Nikon lenses, the very generously padded strap makes the task an ease.

Furthermore, I've been amazed how much the back pocket, etc. carries additional gear. However, if you believe in having it ALL with you whenever you go out, this bag is not for you. On the other hand, how much of the stuff does one regularly carry in a camera bag goes left untouched by months?

The Lens Changer approach makes me think about what I'm doing before I step out the door. A little planning can go along way in not only making sure one has the right equipment but also being mentally prepared for the shoot. I have yet to find the Lens Changer approach to be deficient compared to a conventional camera bag in handling the equipment I actually need, provided I take a moment to consider what I genuinely will need. The rest of the gear is kept safely in storage elsewhere until the next appropriate time. Meanwhile, carrying and easily ACCESSING/CHANGING large lenses during a shoot is remarkably easy. Moreover, one doesn't look like you are carrying a lot of gear (albeit, the camera itself is likely to be in main view.)

Like any other camera bag, this is not for everyone. Nevertheless, if ease of carry and quick (and quiet) access of large lenses is a matter of serious concern, I recommend this bag as a radical yet practical solution worthy of serious consideration.

This bag is perfect for working out of... it is not meant for storing all of your lenses and DSLRs but rather to quickly and efficiently change lenses on the go. Plus it's a lot better looking than the utility belt and lens pouch combo. The velcro silencers are very handy too.

Best Deals for Think Tank ~ Retrospective Lens Changer 3, Pinestone

My wife uses this for her weddings that she does, she uses it all the time and has essentially stopped using all her other bags. It's stylish and functional.

Honest reviews on Think Tank ~ Retrospective Lens Changer 3, Pinestone

I currently own the Think Tank Retrospective 10 camera bag and love it. But I recently purchased a couple of new lenses which made space inside my bag very cramped. Instead of buying the Retrospective 30 (larger version of my bag), I opted for the Retrospective Lens Changer 3 bag... and I'm very happy that I did! Now I have three options when I go on a shoot. I can use my Retrospective 10 if I plan to travel light (camera plus a lens or two), or I can use the Lens Changer bag if I want to use my camera on a strap and have three more lenses at my disposal, or I can carry both bags if I want to have all of my gear with me. This is much more versatile than having one large (heavy) bag to lug around.

I BOUGHT THIS CASE FOR A VERY COMPACT CANON DIGITAL ELPH CAMERA BUT IT DIDN'T FIT AND I HAD TO RETURN THE PRODUCT. I GOT BURNED PRETTY BAD WITH THE RELATIVELY HIGH PRICE PLUS THE SHIPPING THAT I DIDN'T GET REIMBURSED FOR SO I GUESS THE OLD BUYER BEWARE ADAGE GOT ME. IT WOULD HAVE HELPED IF SOME DIMENSIONS HAD BEEN INCLUDED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS. MY SON HAS ONE OF THE LARGER CRUMPLER CASES AND THAT IS ALSO WELL CONSTRUCTED AND WILL FIT THE COMPACT CAMERAS SO MAKE SURE YOU LOOK FOR THE MEDIUM OR LARGE SIZE.

Well built, with plenty of extras. Backpack is rather bulky and heavy even when empty. Not recommended for anyone with a weak back. I mainly use it to pack my camera gear on driving trips. I use a smaller backpack when hiking and/or flying. This will NOT fit in an overhead compartment, even in a large plane.

I purchased this bag because i needed to carry all of my gear at once. I'm a sports photographer and i can fit two bodies, 24-70, 70-200, and a 400f/2.8 and still have plenty of room for batt's, flashes, and cards. It can be a little testing on the back though, i'll retire to a roller somewhere down the line.

Best Deals for Lowepro Pro Trekker AW II Camera Bag (Black)

The bag is heavy, but provides solid protection for my camera. I was worried my JVC HD110 video camera wouldn't fit. It fits, but just barely, I have to remove the AB battery pack. This camera is larger than most prosumer video cameras, the bag would be overkill for those. It works well for walk in access of 15 or 20 minutes, otherwise it would be a heavy solution. I also use it just sitting flat in the back of the car where it protects and organizes my gear and is ready for a quick run into the woods. The sealed zipper is hard to zip and unzip (stiff) so for quick access that's not so great. I'm hoping with some use it will loosen.

I removed the side lens cases and extra pack to streamline the bag.

I purchased the Pro Trekker AW II backpack because the mini Trekker AW was not large as big enough to carry all of my equipment. This is the "Grand-daddy" of all bags! It is large enough to carry most of what you need for any extended photo shoot. I have my Canon 40D has the BG-E2N battery grip and the RRS BGE2-L40 attached, 1.4 & 2.0 extenders, grad filters, circular filters, 28-300mm lens, 100-400mm lens, 180mm micro, 16-35mm wide angle, 28-135mm lens and other items. I use this bag in conjunction with the mini trekker AW pack. Both packs are great durable pack and I use them all the time. I use the Pro Trekker AW II as my main pack and the mini Trekker AW as my satellite backpack, for mini, short shoots. For long, extended shoots, the pro Trekker AW II is a must.

After using this backpack on many shoots, I recently discovered a condensation issue with the inside plastic pouch liner. So please be aware! After a recent early morning sunrise shoot, returning to get some java, I notice that the inside of my pack was wet. Couldn't image where I got water...Exploring the bag, I discovered that the inside plastic pouch had condensation on it. Getting a cloth I quickly wiped up the moister. It continued to condensate for awhile until the temperature rose above the dew point. I was outside below 40 deg. and came inside [room temp]. Still a great bag! I also own the Dry zone 200 as well.

Purchased this (in black) to fit a Canon HF200.

The bag seems to be nicely constructed, and is well padded. So well padded that the camera fit is a little snug, but that keeps it from wiggling around. The carry strap is about the right size without being too narrow, and it has a belt strap if you prefer to carry it that way. The camera is a little bit shorter than the height of the bag (inside), so some of the medium batteries will fit (819), not sure about the biggest though (827).

Aside from that, there is just enough room for SD cards and not much else, but that makes it perfect as a day bag. We have a larger version of the Tamrac Aero (the 65) which will fit cords, batteries, charger, etc. but that's a little too bulky for going out and about for the day, so this bag is nice for short trips without the bulk of the bigger bag.

I would not suggest this as your only camera bag, as it won't be able to fit the cords and add-ons, but as a short day / quick trip bag it works very well.

I looked all over my area for a compact bag to carry my new videocam on day trips, but nowhere could I find anything that was what I had in mind. Browsing thru AMAZON.COM I came upon this bag, and the inside dimensions looked to be about perfect for my SONY HDR-CX350v HandyCam. The reviews leaned toward the positive side, and the price was better than great. It came in the mail yesterday...very prompt delivery, and it is the perfect fit for this camcorder with lots of padding for protection. I have even installed a UV filter and the larger V70 battery pack on the camera, and it slips in and zips up with a perfect fit. It also fits into my larger camera equipment bag with ease. Extra pockets, as suggested by other reviewers, are not needed for my purposes, and would make this neat little compact bag somewhat more bulky. Great product, Tamrac...!!!

Fits the specified camcorders very nicely.

If you are hiking or walking this is a nice bag for the cameraI use it for a Canon Vixia HF100.

Compact design and snug fit-The camcorder would not fall out even if the lid was open, and feels like it would be safer if I accidentally dropped it because of the extra pad.

Nominal storage only-a tiny mesh net in lid, but not really usable. Not really an issue for my needs, but I suppose I could attach a small pack to a D-ring or a back loop if needed.

Belt loop on back. Carrying handle on top. Optional shoulder strap/ D rings( which I took off right away). Two small nylon webbed loops on top back corners that could be useful in attaching or hooking things to. *Make sure your camera has a lanyard on it, or it would be a tough to pull the camera out of this bag.

I would order it again.

*I use a larger bag when I want to bring extra supplies and more batteries, but use this bag when just going out for a day.

Honest reviews on Tamrac 3392 Aero 92 Compact Camcorder/Camera Bag (Black)

I had been searching for a small case to easily carry my HF200 around and this is ideal. Perfect to taking along when outdoors, easy to carry and can even be attached to your belt. The belt attachment worked best on a backpack strap (actually a kelty kids backpack I used while hiking) but not so well on my regular belt was kind of sloppy in a regular belt and moved around a bit. Certainly secure but kind of got in the way. Only complaint on this is that the little pocket on the underside of the "lid" is not secure for holding an extra memory card. If you have the top open and you lean over, it can fall out. We lost a memory card down Franconia Notch Gorge a couple weekends ago. Thankfully it was an empty extra card but now I'll be much more careful in the future!

This is snug like a glove and protects the camcorder exceptionally well however you probably don't want to drop it. It will even fit with the extended BP827 extended battery pack. As you can see in the pic, there's not much more space for anything else.

On another note, I did use this as a drink holder to keep my water bottle cool since I had the camcorder in my hand most of the time.

Honest reviews on Pelican 1511 Replacement Foam Set for 1510 Case (4-Piece)

This foam is great for protecting your valuable gear; in my case, we use it to protect our camcorder, wireless mic sets, audio equipment, etc. The only negative part of this product is the price: When we purchased this foam, it cost almost $50. A new 1510 case is $150 so this foam is extremely overpriced. There may be a cheaper foam refill made by a generic company but I wasn't able to find any.

This little camera case fits my PowerShot SD780 Elph like a glove. I would call the color Deep Metallic Rose rather than "red" and it is a bit lighter in color than my red camera.

There is NO room for anything else but the camera I knew that when I bought it so to me this is not a negative if you want to store an extra battery or even a photo card you will probably not be happy with the case. If you want to protect the camera (and look going doing it!) this is a great case.

The case has a magnetic flap, a hole in the top for the camera strap, and a leather belt loop. It is a snug fit over the camera.

The Canon SD780IS is a small camera & this case fits perfectly. The case is a more metallic lite red than the picture shows. It has the added bonus of a belt loop on the back. I put the wrist strap for the camera to the side rather than thru the hole at the top of the case, and you can easily pull the camera out.

I bought this case for my Panasonic TZ4 with the pick and pluck foam. The camera fits perfectly. There is a quarter inch gap between the lid and lens and I can hold it upside down and shake it and it doesn't move. I wanted to bring it with me on hikes, mountain-biking, and canoe trips. I have done all of these things with confidence. The case is very strong and even shields from heat.

***Update***

The case was in my backpack when it was run over by the rear tire of a grapple skidder (big tractor used for dragging downed trees). The backpack was torn and had plastic buckles broken, but this case did not have a scratch. The camera still looks brand new after 2 years. If the camera had been in its original cloth case, it would have been destroyed. This case is cheap insurance.

Bought this case for going on a 2-day hike, scrambling, ice, snow all involved. Wanted something to carry my phone (droid incredible at the time) and my camera (newer Cannon powershot). They both fit perfectly in the case, with enough room to not be smashed, and have them be accessible. I use this now for skiing, boating etc... Case is durable, and I've used it to fit two iPhones with cases, iPhone and Camera, iPhone and wallet etc... It seems to be just the right size for two-somethings. I will be buying more to fit three-somethings, and maybe one-somethings because they are really versatile, and give you confidence you won't mess up your expensive stuff.

This small case is portable, solid, and waterproof. It is very handy for keeping small items secure and dry. It can be used for keeping small electronic items, important small papers, or matches dry while near water (on a boat) or in a bug out bag in an emergency situation. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and this product is well made. If you have a small item to keep secure and dry, I recommend this small, waterproof case.

I purchased this because of the familiarity of the Polaroid name. The materials the adapter are made of seem to be of good quality and the threads fit snugly, but the three set screws were loose in the package. On further investigation, I found that the screws did not even fit the threads in the holes, but just fell through. Not something that could have been easily overlooked by the assembler. Hoped to use the adapter and instead I am waiting for another adapter from a different manufacturer.

Reviews of MADE Rubberized Camera Armor (Black) for Nikon D40, D40x & D60

MADE Rubberized Camera Armor for Nikon D40, D40x & D60 Digital SLR Camera + Spudz Cleaning Cloth + Accessory Kit
Customer Ratings: 4 stars

There have been people who had bought the armor alone, who had complained about the lens armor piece falling off. There was a user who solved this dilemma (for the standard 15-55mm lens) by putting it on backwards and then flipping it inside out. Yup, that works. The only problem with that is it tends to block the flash and creates this little shadow at the bottom of the picture. Solution to that is to keep flipping the lens armor piece back and forth between use, if flash is needed. It's a little annoying, especially when putting the camera away in the bag, but since that was the one armor piece I had wanted because I was paranoid about banging up my lens, I just put up with it.

This armor does not fit as snugly as the Delkin Snug-it armor, but it does the job, although the flash is semi-blocked by the top flap. Solution to that is to just push it down to let the flash pop up. I'm still debating if I should cut it off or not.

The cleaning cloth is a nice handy piece to have attached to the bag. I was a little annoyed when I received my order because the cleaning solution had a leak and got most of the kit wet.

Other than that, a nice deal if you're going to buy the armor (never hurts to have extra cleaning kits or memory card holders or LCD screen protectors, right?).

Review of High Density Neoprene FlexArmor Camera Case for Panasonic, Nikon

High Density Neoprene FlexArmor Camera Case for Panasonic, Nikon with attached lenses up through 14-45mm zoom
Customer Ratings: 4 stars
Buy Now
In my 40 years of amateur photography, this is my first experience with a neoprene flexible case. I find it a great addition to the heavier hardshell leather cases and large camera kit bags that I also use with my micro 4/3 camera equipment.

First, I should clarify what type camera this bag fits: The Amazon ad correctly states in the "Technical Details" section of the ad that it fits the Panasonic Lumix GF1 with my 14-42mm zoom lens, my 14-45mm zoom lens, and my 20mm "pancake" lens. (I believe it will also fit the Gf2 and upcoming GF3, which are slightly smaller than the FG1.) However, the Amazon ad states incorrectly in the top title and elsewhere in the ad that it fits the DMC-G3 / DMC-GH2 / DMC-G2. I tried to fit my DMC-G2 and DMC-GH1 camera bodies (without lens) into this bag, and those camera bodies were too large. I hope the ad will be corrected to say GF1/GF2/GF3 with attached lenses up through the size of the 14-45mm zoom.

Now, back to the bag, itself. It appears extremely well made, and likely to hold up to regular use. The seams are well stitched and there are no sloppy or excess cuttings. There is a convenient external zip pocket for extra memory cards and other tiny items. Another reviewer found that it was not easy getting the camera in and out of the case. I found it took only a few seconds to remove the camera, and a few seconds longer to reinsert... comparable to other cases I've used over the years.

The case's main opening uses 2 snaps, rather than velcro, and I prefer the snaps. There is a sufficient small gap on the sides to pass through a camera strap, attached to your camera, to carry the enclosed camera on your shoulder. The case is extremely lightweight, and appears to offer at least limited water resistance, if not waterproof. The neoprene cushioning is not thick, but it is dense, and provides a decent first line of defense against dust, dirt, nicks, scratches, and light bumps. It is not so thick as to protect against drops on a cement floor.

This is not an "everready"-style case that would allow you to snap off a top half to quickly take photos, while a bottom half remains screwed into a tripod mount. This is a storage case from which you remove the camera to take photos. The case has a narrow belt loop that opens via velcro; a tag warns that this belt loop is meant only for storing the case while you are holding and shooting the camera... the belt loop is not strong enough to support carrying the camera in the case attached to your trouser belt.

I should mention that I find this to be an attractive case I'm happy to be seen with, given the dark gray color and quality of construction. In conclusion, the extreme lightness and "first line of defense" protectiveness of this case will make it my main carry-along case for walking about with my Panasonic Lumix GF1.

The case isn't a tight fit around my camera, it would be better if it were. Overall it's a great price for a case for my Panasonic GF3 with 14-42mm lens.

Best Deals for High Density Neoprene FlexArmor Camera Case for Panasonic, Nikon

The product delivered as advertised. My GF1 with 55mm lens fit snugly inside the neoprene case. The material and workmanship are both great. All in all, I've no complaints and am very satisfied.

Honest reviews on High Density Neoprene FlexArmor Camera Case for Panasonic, Nikon

I recently purchased this case to hold my Lumix DMC-GF3 with a 42mm lens. I was glad to happen upon this case because there are not many inexpensive cases available for micro four-thirds (mirrorless) cameras like the GF3. The majority of the options that will accommodate the larger lens are quite pricey. This case seems ideal for giving the camera some minor protection, especially if you plan to carry the camera inside of a daypack or purse. For me, it is a real advantage that the case doesn't add much bulk or additional weight. If you take the camera out of its case, the flexible case would easily fold up.

The GF3 with the 42mm lens fits comfortably inside and it's not a super snug fit.

That being said, this case has its limits. For example, compared to other "heavy duty" camera bags, it's possible that dirt or water could seep into the bag. There aren't a lot of built in pouches (which is fine for my purposes), but it would not be the best option if you plan to carry additional memory cards or power cords.

One thing to note is that the case itself does not have a strap. To carry it with a strap, you need to use the neck strap attached to the camera itself. There is a velcro "belt strap" on the case itself, but it feels sort of chinzy and I don't think I'd be comfortable using that.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for High Density Neoprene FlexArmor Camera Case for Panasonic, Nikon

I have GF3 with a 14-45 and a 45-200 lens. It fits well, somewhat loosely, with the 14-45mm lens on it, but does a great job of protecting it with that lens. Where it is really awesome is with the 45-200mm lens though. It is a tight squeeze, but the snaps close securely with the lens and lens cap on and it fits like a glove. That was a pleasent surprise for my wife and I. We had been looking for another Neoprene case to protect with the 200mm lens and this one actually stretches perfectly (not to the point of tearing a seam though) around the camera and lens.

The materials are great quality for the price, and the seams seem well sewn. Doesn't seem to be a cheap piece of junk. The belt loop could be a little stronger though and the snaps could be metal instead of plastic, but for the price it's more than we expected. If you want metal snaps and better belt loop, spend more money. If you want cheap protection for your GF series camera go with this one it fits great.
