Reviews of Precision Design 1000 Deluxe Digital SLR System Camera Case
This was a wonderful buy. It perfectly fits my Sony A230 DSLR camera, two lenses, flash attachments, and all my miscellaneous gear. The buckles are easy to use and the bag works well either from my shoulder or sitting on a table. This was an average and nice bag. It was just not as sturdy looking, in person, as I'd expected it to be. It was also a lot bigger than I need. Otherwise, it is good for the money.

Review of CowboyStudio Large Rolling Case with Dividers for Complete Studio

This thing sucks. The velcro doesn't hold at all. It is just a large ONE section case. Replace the velcro, and it would be 4+ stars. Probably would have been happier if it was around $40-50, as it is just basically a large suitcase with no compartments. Still holds my gear, but definitely not worth the money.
The negative points:
Cheap plastic wheels only a matter of time before they break off. And that will SUCK
The plastic things that keep the bag upright on it's own have broken off
the velcro dividers never stay in place
the handle needs to be longer to make it more comfortable when rolling it
overall it's just cheap feeling. I will definitely put more money into my next bag when this thing completely falls apart.

First off, I got this case to transport my Lights and Strobes from Location to Location. The Case is well made with a hard Exterior and Soft liner inside. but my only draw back is the Dividers, They are thin and do not have enough Velcro on them to keep my lights in place. I need 3 more rolling cases like this one but, I'll need to take in to account the lack of Velcro.Honest reviews on CowboyStudio Large Rolling Case with Dividers for Complete Studio
I bought 3 of them..free shipping to Hawaii....why not! Wish they did a little better job on sewing straps down...but nothing a little dental floss and needle cannot fix....Looks more professional when i show up at a clients location too and assitant can pack and unpack more precisely. Cheap Pelican 1042 Pick N' Pluck Foam Set for 1040 Micro-Case (Grey)
The photo is deceiving, the squares are approximately 3/8" x 3/8". They also project all the way through so if you want to only remove half way down you have to get the razor blade out. Foam serves it's purpose

If you put it into the case that it's intended for it does not fit well, foam is a little too big, and if you remove the rubber "seal" then you have a unsealed pelican case, worthless to me. I had my eye on this bag for at least 6 months before I decided to purchase it. I received it a little over a month ago and I absolutely love it. Not only does it look stylish, but it is durable with its interior and exterior quality of materials. I also purchased the handbag with this also. The material is easy to clean off if something is spilled on it (accidentally spilled wine on it once, it came off without leaving any stains).
I will comment from another review I read that this bag does not have a zipper to shut it completely on top. It has the zipper on the side of the bag and in the interior pocket, but it only has the clasp on top to 'close' it. So, the picture showing the top of the bag (with a zipper), is not the actually picture of this bag. I wanted to reiterate this because even though it shows a picture and it may say it has a top zipper it does not. I was OK with this, so it doesn't bother me, but it may bother someone else.I love this laptop bag! It's beautiful, stylish and very functional! It's a must have for any business girl! Perfection

For it's price, I'm very pleased. This obviously wont stand as a lowepro backpack but it's very well constructed. Has many zippers (two hiding beneath the orange flaps you see in the photo, which are net fabric pockets). Pads could be a bit thicker but then again, at 20 bucks, it delivers. I can hold 3 lenses, flash, a body and the bat charger comfortably. Agree with the other review, an additional strap would be useful.

Unfortunately, the zipper is rather weak and often opens at the bottom, making it a risk for equipment to fall out. An additional strap is advised.

This may be a good fit for other cameras listed, but since it lists RX100 (and pictures shows that camera too), I'm going to rate it based on that. It is just way too big, which defeats the whole purpose of having a pocketable camera like RX100. I got a lowepro case which fits perfectly and is priced cheaper, and has a semi hard back that protects the screen too.

I purchased this case after slipping & falling while hiking and busting my camera in my back pocket. I like the fact that my camera is conveniently accessible but safe from harm, unless I fall on my face! The belt clip locks over your belt to prevent accidental loss. The neoprene cover cushions the camera from bumping. All in all, a better solution than sticking your camera in your pocket.Best Deals for FlexARMOR Compact Digital Camera Case with Carrying Carabiner

I was looking for a belt case for my Sony RX-100 that would provide a secure carry as well as quick access, and would hold a spare battery. This case fills the bill perfectly. The dimensions are perfect for the camera, even with the accessory Franiec grip. The smooth fabric allows the camera to slip in and out easily, but the Velcro flap holds it securely. There is a small interior pocket on the flap that is perfectly sized to hold a spare battery or memory card. And the price is right! Almost all the other cases I looked at had a zipper closure, which might provide better protection from pickpockets in crowded places, but required awkward fumbling when I wanted to get at the camera quickly.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for FlexARMOR Compact Digital Camera Case with Carrying Carabiner

I have been using this case with my NEX-7 now for about 3 weeks; it's a really good value. The case is durable and very functional. I really like that you can remove the cover and retain the body guard. Comments about the leather are largely true, it isn't a real high quality grain leather but in case you didn't miss it the price is only like 30 bucks! From my perspective there is a lot more than $30 dollars worth of value in this case. I use the case with the small 18-55mm kit lens. There is just a bit of dead space in between the end of the lens and the case. I actually like that small gap, the case is rigid enough that it doesnt crumple or compress or anything. I was a bit concerned about the quality based on a few of the reviews but I can assure you that this case is sturdy enough. In pricing a similar case from the manufacturer I was looking at over $200 dollars. This is the best alternative. If you want premium leather spend the cash on the OEM case and guard but I'd rather use that money to buy lenses and accessories.
To sum it up this case is a really good value for the money, if you want really nice leather buy the OEM case for like $170 dollars more. I'd buy this case again in a minute; no regrets whatsoever!
"This case fits the NEX-7 perfectly with the kit lens attached. It also fits with the Carl Zeiss 24mm f1.8 Sonnar E-mount lens on. The lens hoods have to be taken off the lenses or mounted in reverse to be able to fit.
The case is made of [a leather-like material] and has a [less premium] feel to it. The camera is attached to the Half Case via the tripod mount. This presents a problem. More on that later.
How does it protect the camera? It certainly protects the camera well against day-to-day bumps during everyday use. However, I am concerned that if you drop the camera in it, depending on the angle of the impact, the NEX-7 and/or its attached lens may not fare very well.
Another concern I have is against dust: the side openings are large enough for dust particles to enter. As an experienced DSLR professional photographer, I have had situations (early in my career) where grains of sand deposited onto the sensor during shoots at the beach. Similarly, I have had moisture enter the camera body during shoots in the humid Amazon rain forest. I do not believe this case to adequately protect against those environments. However, the case will sufficiently protect the camera against light rain.
Some reviewers at other sites have commented that this case can block the rear LCD from being pulled out. This is partially true -yes, the LCD cannot be pulled out easily. Perhaps that's a plus: it'll help prevent accidental dislodging of the LCD. The way to pull the LCD out while attached to the case, start by pulling on the bottom of the LCD, not the top.
Since the camera body is attached to the case via the tripod mount, the Half Case (the part that is screwed onto the camera's tripod mount) unfortunately blocks the battery slot. This is quite frustrating: access to the battery and the memory card are blocked until the camera body is unscrewed from the tripod mount. This is the MOST frustrating part of the case.
The case does allow for quick shooting without taking the camera out: simply unclip one of the buttons located at the bottom right of the body, flip the top portion of the case over and under the camera, and you are ready to photograph. With the case hanging the way it does in this position, it does make you look like an amateurish, ridiculously-looking tourist or photographer.
So, fashion-wise, this case looks ridiculous when you open it to photograph, and the blocking of the battery/memory card door is ridiculous. The biggest plus for this case is the fact that it does not add bulk to the camera. As such, it serves as a good protector of your camera while being transported in your backpack or carry-on suitcase. For its price, ... this case [is a good alternative to the Sony one.]One of [this case's] buttons broke the moment I unclipped it to put the camera body on. [I promptly returned it and didn't bother to purchase a replacement.]

I carried my NEX 7 in this case during five weeks of travel this summer. The texture of the grip is great, I prefer it over the original NEX rubberized grip which seems sticky to hold. The carrying case also provided some protection to the most vulnerable parts of the camera body from moisture or light rain, which was an added bonus. The quality is great though I would suggest making the top cover easier to take off for quick shots and easier to reattach (hence the four stars). Great quality product.Best Deals for MegaGear Ever Ready Protective Black Leather Camera Case, Bag

Being a new owner of a Sony NEX7, I really wanted to protect the camera from daily use without , putting it in a case being hard to get to, With this traditional case all you have to do is unclip a button and the cover swings off just like film cameras of old, . The Mega protects the camera with this case completely with its custom fit, and soft interior. Comparing to the other cases available like the Sony case which cost over 100 dolars, this one is every bit as well built, costing 1/4 of the Sony case, if you like to have a protected camera, with an easy to open capability, this is a muct have for trips or walking the city streets taking candid photos without drawing allot of attention. The speed of recieving this case was perfect for my coming trip. Great quality, great value.10-24-12 after taking it on vacation the buttons broke of , the clasps. very frustrating now I am going to send it back or have a boot maker put another button on it , I hate this as the shirts I buys these days use cheap ones , same type and they break to, everything is CHEAP,2013, I thought I could fix the case with tsome snaps, now finding out that they are not mormal size, still looking for a correct snap, bummer, yes cheap enough but in retrospect is that wise

This leather case has the potential to really be great. If you use the standard lens that comes with the NEX-7, the cover does well. It is a little deeper for the body than it needs to be, but works fine. What the product really needs is an optional lens cover that snaps on the basic body case, but fits the Sony 18-200mm lens. If this additional lens cover were available this would be a cost effective outstanding case..Sunday, June 22, 2014

The bag was smaller than I had expected. Regardless of size it function and work exactly as describe. The craftmanship is great as well. I was debating between this bag or the lowepro messenger pro which cost 160+, I couldn't justify spending additional 100$ for a similar bag. Although the pro messenger seems to offer a better appealing color for my taste and a couple more gadget I wish the messenger event had, such as room for dslr+battery grip, luggage compatible, misc pockets here and there. Overall for 60$ this is a great bag with plenty of padded protection for your expensive camera/toys.Friday, May 23, 2014

This is camera case # 6 for me and by far the best. It's easy to configure, tough, well though out, comfortable. The two outer compartments on the back are easy to access with plenty of nooks for various items, velcro close pouches for memory cards, and inside one of the compartments is another zipper compartment that's pretty cool. The compartment for the laptop is well padded with dense foam. The main compartment is well padded and has more than enough inserts for tons of configurations.
I had some difficulty finding bags that would fit my D200 with the battery pack attached and this bag has no problem.
Size wise is a small backpack (but a good sized camera bag). With ease and room for more I fit...
My D200 with battery pack.
2 SB800 flashes
105 mm macro
85 mm f/1.4
50 mm f/1.4
18-70 mm kit lens
70-300 zoom
extension tubes
lens hoods
2 additional batteries
memory cards, cables, polarizers
and still had room for more.
I physically laid my hands on and played with several backpacks from Tamarac, National Geographic, Lowepro and some others. The big thing that sold me on this pack was how dense the foam was. I'd be more confident about my equipment surviving a fall in this bag than any other bag. I expected more from Tamarac; their padding felt flimsy. I own a Tamarac, two smaller Lowepros, a Kata and a Sony bag. This is by far my favorite bag.
Oh and it has a saftey whistle built in to one of the buckles. It's an awesome bag. I'm not one to write reviews but I just couldn't keep quiet about this bag.
2. All lowepro products are excellent--> great construction and excellent fit. The problem I had / have with the photo / nature trekker is the limited amount of small type pockets etc... I was so dissatisfied that I eventually sold my trekker series backpack (bad decision) and then bought a tamrac expedition series backpack (really bad decision).
3. Anyway, since I wasn't happy with my Tamrac--> I bought the Lowepro Vertex---> this is a near perfect photo backpack--> excellent ergonomics / great fit (as is the case with all lowepro products), excellent construction (as with all lowepro products), good tripod holder, and unlike the trekker series--> the vertex series has more... pragmatic pockets,, which is really handy. I just got back from a series of hikes to Mt Rainier, Mt Baker etc...--> excellent photo backpack.
-Construction:
This backpack is made from rigid pads that are dressed by really strong and durable fabric, that will protect the equipment in every situation (falling, banging into objects, weather conditions, etc.). It has strong water resistance zippers for the main and laptop compartments.
-Space:
Really spacious with many storage areas. The main compartment (camera space) is heavily protected by pads and is divided into smaller areas by some other adjustable protective pads. This means that design the compartment yourself for an optimum space use. There's also a designated pocket to fit small books or some papers. The laptop compartment fits a 14" laptop, and I also use it for books and filters if I'm taking my laptop. The two side storage areas are used for filters, memory card, keys, cable, cleaning kit, etc.
-Tripod Attachment:
One of the best feature of this backpack is that you can attach your tripod to the backpack.
-Shoulder, Chest, and Waist Straps:
Rigid build, yet really comfy for those long journeys. The chest and waist straps are there for those who like to go on an adventure and take ther camera with them. After fastening all the straps, the backpack will be as if part of your own body.
-Weight:
Even when full, it's not that heavy, I mean anyone can manage to carry it.
-Rain Cover:
As for most (or all) Lowepro bags, this backpack is equipped with a rain cover, that when neseccary protect the whole gear for the pouring rain.
-Price:
Really reasonable for such backpack with these specs and features.
-Overall:
Two words A MUST!
As to quality and features this pack is really amazing and I highly recommend it if you need a pack that will take a lot of abuse. The water proof zippers are a great feature and the integrated rain cover is great. I've never been disappointed with any Lowepro product from a manufactured or features point.

The bag is easily configurable to match your camera, lenses, flash units, etc... But what makes this bag so ideal for me is the comfort while hiking the mountains/volcanoes of Hawaii. When the straps are clipped and fastened as designed, this bag is incredibly comfortable even if you have a lot of weight by carrying a fast telephoto lens. However, if you are the type of person to sling a bag over one-shoulder, this is not the bag for you. Over one shoulder is awkward to say the least. This is meant to be fastened in place and to provide extreme comfort when used as designed.Best Deals for Lowepro Vertex 100 AW Backpack
1. This is my 3rd or 4th lowepro backpack (prior ones have includes the phototrekker etc...).2.
Honest reviews on Lowepro Vertex 100 AW Backpack
From the title, you'll get a general understanding of how versatile this backpack is. I'll go in more details to explain the different aspects of why this backpack is unique.-Construction:
-Overall:

I've been researching for a good camera bag and finally settled on the Lowepro Vertex but couldn't decide between the 100 and 200. I have a modest kit so either should meet my basic needs so I opted for the 100. It arrived today and I was able to get what I would need in the field in to the bag but it was more limited in space than I expected. It would have been fine however but when I put it on it felt like a kid's backpack. I'm 6'4" tall and wear an XL shirt. I have to have the shoulder straps at their longest extension to feel comfortable but the waist strap hits me above the navel, just under the rib cage. It would in no way support the pack at all as a waist belt should but would only keep it from moving around as I moved. I am returning this pack and have ordered the 200. It may still be a little too short but the added two inches of height will at least help some.As to quality and features this pack is really amazing and I highly recommend it if you need a pack that will take a lot of abuse. The water proof zippers are a great feature and the integrated rain cover is great. I've never been disappointed with any Lowepro product from a manufactured or features point.

CO-128 Pouch for Canon Powershot G3 Reviews
Wanted a case that I could get my camera out very fast for recording dance demonstrations by my instructor at my dance class. The case that came with my Nikon was too small to let me get the camera out in a hurry. Plenty of room in this case for a the camera. I have previously used a number of Ripoff cases to hold cell phones and other items on my belt. Never lost an item and the cases lasted for years of hard use. This one is no exception.

This case looks to be very good quality. I was very disappointed when it was to small for my s9300 and the s9200. The camera will not fit in the case at all.My Nikon L26 fits perfect. The case is hard and looks like it will provide good protection. Nothing negative to say.

Just what I wanted. A compact, easy to carry, tough camera bag for hunting. It does not carry a lot of equipment, but just what I need in the field.I ordered this as the toiletry bag for my new matching Terra Glide. I purchased the zipper model and am very happy. I may use it for other items but for now, my personal items!
