Bought this "made for thFujifilm FinePix XP10" case; and my daughter will love me forever! It's not the same shade of green; but she thought it most cool that it was a complimentary green shade for a green camera. Green is definitely in right now.

As with the other poster, I'm sure this is a perfectly acceptable pack if you have a camera that fits into it.

The dimensions of the pack would seem to indicate that it is 3.5" deep, with a flat bottom and a consistent depth through the entire height of the pack. In the main image of the pack that you see on this page (the image all the way to the left in the series), the pack appears to be resting on a flat bottom.

In reality, the bottom of the pack simply comes to a 1/2" wide point at the bottom where the flat back (meant to rest on your chest or back) meets the front side, which is much wider at the top than the bottom. Because of this, you can't simply slide an SLR or rangefinder camera with the lens attached, or even a point-and-shoot with a large zoom, into the pack with the back of the camera against the back of the pack. The zipper will not zip around the camera and lens.

Instead you have to put the camera with the lens pointing either up or down, and ease the zipper around the lens. It's quite awkward to use; if extreme care isn't taken when opening the pack, a heavy camera could easily fall out and be damaged. It was OK protecting my camera inside a larger tote bag, but I wouldn't want to carry the camera in this pack alone.

Having said that, the pack does seem well-constructed and padded. With the right size camera, this would undoubtedly be a winner. But I've got to keep looking for a new home for my M8 with a 28mm lens.

it's probably a good pack, but amazon is totally misleading selling it in a package deal with the canon sx20is. i own this camera, so when i saw them selling this package deal i assumed the pack would be the correct size for my camera. not so by a long shot. i have no idea why amazon would be selling this camera pack with this camera. it is way too small for the sx20is.

This leather case is made to correctly fit either the Fuji X-E1 or X-A1 camera (I assume, too, that it will also fit the X-E2 camera that has just been released mid November, 2013). This is a high quality case made fully of finished leather with a soft inside lining made of a super smooth cloth material that has been bound to the inside of the leather. The case comes in two parts: the bottom part, which clads the bottom and sides of the camera, screws into the tripod mount, and therefore can be left permanently on the camera. The top part, which covers all the remaining part of the camera, attaches to the lower part via two snaps. The snaps seem to close well, and there does not seem to be any concern of the snaps accidentally coming undone. Finally, there is a supplied leather shoulder strap that matches the case. The color of this particular model is a medium-to-light brown which, when coupled with the case design, makes for a lovely "retro" look.

The fit, finish, and overall quality of the case make this a standout deal for most any Fuji X-E1 or X-A1 owner. When you also consider the extremely reasonable price for the case, it is easily one of the better cases I have purchased for a camera over the years (I have purchased many other leather cases over the years for a variety of cameras, each of which was moving into the $100 range). Five stars for quality, price, and functionality.

Canon 2400 SLR Gadget Bag for EOS SLR Cameras Reviews

Canon 2400 SLR Gadget Bag for EOS SLR Cameras

I have had this bag now for over 9 months and can honestly say it has more then surpassed my expectations. It stores everything I need when out with family or friends to catch all the action in one convenient place.

In the center of the bag I have the following:

1. Rebel XT body

2. Canon 430EX Flash

3. 17mm-85mm Lens

4. 75mm-300mm Lens

5. Sony Handycam Video Recorder

6. Power plug for charging Video Recorder

On the sides I store the Battery Chargers and Batteries for Flash, Camera and Video Camera, plus Tapes for the Video Camera. The front holds all the manuals for everything and a few extra Memory Cards and lens covers. Even after this, there is still space in the bag for other things. The bag has held up very well and can see no signs of wear or tear after dragging this bag all over the place for the last 9 months.

I am very pleased with this bag. It is a perfect fit for my Canon EOS 20D camera body and two lenses plus flash unit. Plus, there is room for another lens (a soon to be added zoom lens). Plenty of compartments and zippered pockets around the perimeter for carrying accessories. It even has a strap on the bottom for carrying a tripod. The bag is lightweight, water repellant, and has the interchangeable dividers so you can arrange the interior contents into any configuration you like. Well worth the price and works fine unless you plan on carrying more than 3 lenses.

Best Deals for Canon 2400 SLR Gadget Bag for EOS SLR Cameras

I purchased this bag for my Canon digital rebel XT. It's durable and well built. Some what smaller than advertised but I'm sure it's ideal under most circumstances. Perfect if you have a camera body and single lens. However, I returned it in exchange for the Canon 200DG bag which is larger and could accommodate up to 3 lens, camera body and accessories easily. The 2400SLR bag has plastic latches, rings and zippers. The Canon 200DG has heavy metal latches and is constructed with thicker padding and heavy duty zipper and pouches. The price of the 2400SLR is very reasonable and a great value for the money. But, if you are planning to carry a camera body and 2 or more lens, I would not recommend this bag.

Honest reviews on Canon 2400 SLR Gadget Bag for EOS SLR Cameras

If you're reading this review now, then you must be debating on whether to purchase this bag or not. My answer would be to buy it!! Initially I bought a samsonite bag, but I quickly out grew that one. This canon bag (after repositioning the velcro dividers) can fit all of the following:

1. rebel xt body w/ the kit lens attached

2. Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

3. Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM Telephoto Zoom Lens

4. Canon 430EX Speedlite Flash

5. Duracell 15 min charger

6. misc (cards, cords, chargers)

*** and i still have room ***

You might be thinking that the bag is heavy, but it's not because everything is so easily distributed in the bag.

This bag is all everybody says it is. I just wanted to clear the air on the REAL size of the INSIDE of this bag as I have read all sorts of various sizes while attempting to research it. Front to back is 6". Side to side is 9". From bottom to top of the bag is 6 1/2". Does this mean you can't get a longer lens inside than 6 1/2", no. I have a Canon 70-200mm IS f4 L lens that is 8 1/4 inches long and it will fit, although just barely. You can get a 8 1/4" lens in the bag because the top of the bag that folds over the body of the bag is recessed and the straps that secure the top of the bag to the body of the bag are slightly adjustable, all of this flexibility allows a maximum of around 8 1/4" from top to bottom of the bag, I doubt anything longer would fit. The inside of this bag will hold my Canon T3i body with grip but with no lens attached, my 24-70mm f2.8 L lens with hood reversed, my 70-200 f4 IS L lens with hood reversed, a JVC HD Everio camcorder. That for all practical purposes fills the bag up. The side pockets are good sized and the mesh pocket on the underside of the top flap will hold a lot of small items like batteries, battery charger, SD cards, remote shutter releases and such. With all the stuff I have just described put into the bag it still is very comfortable to carry over your shoulder, as the carry strap is wide and soft, but I would not want to carry it constantly for hours on end. This bag seems to be very well made and has good design features as the inside is completely adjustable for any configuration you may need. Gets my high recommendation for a great size and quality of workmanship. If your camera with lens attached isn't longer than 8" total length it should fit in this bag, any longer most likely not.

Case Logic Kilowatt KSB-101 Medium Sling Backpack for Pro DSLR
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is an excellent camera bag! It has two main compartments. The upper one is approximately 6" tall, 6" wide and 5" deep, and the lower one is about 7.5" tall, 6" wide and 5" deep. There are also two very small side-compartments at the top of the bag, and each of them has interior mesh pockets.

The bag's upper main compartment has two interior mesh pockets and opens at the front. The lower main compartment has adjustable velcro'd partitions, and opens from the left and right sides, as well as from the front. Each of the lower main compartment's side and front flaps has either a mesh or zippered pocket.

The bag is roomy enough for a camera, a couple of lenses and a few smaller items such as batteries and memory cards, and they will all be very well protected because of the excellent all-around padding. You can carry the bag as a backpack, or configure the straps to make it into a rightor left-handed sling bag. The included weather hood will come in handy on a rainy day!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have to tell you that this is one nice little and handy backpack for photography use. I received this item and instantly fell in love with it. Now I do not use a DSLR camera but rather an old and trusted Nikon FA which has served me well over the years film and all. This backpack is perfect for my particular needs so if you are like me and have not made the transition to digital, fear not because this pack works just fine with antique cameras too.

The product is precisely as described in the product description. You can indeed configure it three different ways. I personally found that the right sling position worked out best for me although I did try all the different ones and they all work quite well and allow easy access to your camera, lens and the other "junk" which we all normally carry. The camera fits perfectly and there is plenty of room, in my case, for two different lenses.

I love the special strap on the back which allows you to carry a tripod. The strap is stout and even though I use a very light tripod it is obvious that he pack could carry a much larger and heavier one.

I like the way that the partitions within the back can be reconfigured with little or not problem. The dividers are stout and well padded and held in by very strong Velcro fasteners which allows quick adjustments as needed. The pack itself is EXTREMELY well padded, which in my case is very important as I am a bit of a klutz and am constantly bashing into things. While I would not recommend throwing the back filled with equipment over a bluff or roll it down a hill side, I have all the confidence in the world that if you did as such the chances of your gear coming through the ordeal would be quite good.

The straps are very easy to adjust and fasten and are very, very comfortable in all configurations.

There is plenty of space in the top compartment to stash extra gear and it is very well padded. The outside, and indeed the inside of the back has quite a number of little pouches to store and hold smaller bits of gear. All in all this pack allows you to become extremely organized...something I have always had a problem with.

The zippers on this pack are heavy duty and at first you will find that they are a bit "stiff." After zipping and unzipping them a number of times though the stiffness leaves and they are quite smooth. The material which this pack is made of is quite stout and after careful examination I found the stitching to be very good. This pack should last for years of heavy use.

An additional feature, and one I most certainly appreciate, is the fact that the pack has a detachable weather hood which fits the pack perfectly and folds down to be quite small and easy to stash away in a special pouch on the OUTSIDE of he pack. I live in an area where the weather can change quickly and this is a real plus.

The pack is flat bottomed with a firm bottom and sets well and has a handle on top which makes it easy to carry if not strapped on your back.

This is an attractive and compact backpack which does the job that it was built for.

Best Deals for Case Logic Kilowatt KSB-101 Medium Sling Backpack for Pro DSLR

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is a really nice backpack for a DSLR, with tons of room and tons of protection for your gear.

PROS

* Stiff enough to hold its own shape, so the bag itself will absorb (some) impact before things reach your camera

* TONS of padding inside--walls, cielings, doors, and even the compartment dividers

* Every last compartment divider is held in place with super-strong velcro that's repositionable, so you can adjust things to fit _your_ camera and _your_ lenses, to ensure a fit that's neither too loose nor too snug

* Has way more room than I need for my (small) DSLR and three lenses

* Tons of pockets for memory cards, extra batteries, etc.

* In addition to the top compartment, the main compartment can open from the top or either side, so you can choose

which you prefer (which may vary depending on which lens you're trying to retrieve)

* It's a backpack, so you won't strain your spine over time (though you do have the option to switch it to a sling if you prefer)

CONS

* Takes a while to figure out how to adjust the compartments. For example, my DSLR is on the small side, and I don't feel like I've identified the optimal way to arrange the compartments around it

* The label says there's a way to attach a tripod on front for even weight distribution, but I can't figure out how to attach the tripod at all... so this may be a usability/wish-it-had-more-instructions issue

NEUTRAL

* The zippers are a bit stiff and can require some focus to open or close... but that's because there is padding that protects the internal contents from hitting/scratching the zippers, so it's probably worth the hassle

* The velcro is so strong that it "grabs" when you're trying to reposition. BUT this means it holds tight once you have it in place, so this is an annoyance I can live with

Honest reviews on Case Logic Kilowatt KSB-101 Medium Sling Backpack for Pro DSLR

I LOVE this pack. Everything fits in the pack, everything has its place, and being able to remove the camera from the pack through the outside zippered "door" is so convenient; no fumbling and moving other items to get the camera out. The interior is a bright orange, not black, so you can actually see the equipment with the contrast instead of it all blending together. The velcro partitions allow you to adjust the fit for your equipment to the bag. This easily holds my DSLR, telephoto lens, 2 small lens, and lots of extras (battery charger, cleaning kit, etc). Now, I can grab and go and know I have everything I need in one pack.

I love how many pockets and areas there are to put camera accessories in this backpack. There are dividers literally everywhere and it has excellent padding in between the compartments. I like how you can access the camera from the left or the right, depending upon your preference. I also have a tripod that I strap on the back. This is lightweight and is actually quite comfortable to use as a backpack. I much prefer it to the camera bag that I have used. So much more portable and accessible. I would highly recommend this.

I too purchased this bag because of the deal that was going on for the black friday sale. My old bag was meant for an old Konica FT-1 camera that I have kicking around and now I need a bigger bag for a Nikon D90. I was looking for a sling bag that fit a Tripod, SB-700, D90, an 18-105 lens and an 80-200 lens while still having plenty of room for other things if need be. Without a doubt this bag is able to easily hold all my equipment and I could probably manage to squeeze in another 2-3 lenses.

This bag is designed with space, and comfort in mind. I've walked around with it for a few hours in total thus far and barely noticed I had it on despite all the weight.

The Bad, like the previous reviewer stated the access is a little bit on the small side for the main camera compartment but it isn't something that isn't terrible.

There is a large buckle where half is metal and half is plastic. Why not make it all metal if you were going for that, and what is the point of it? The same compartment has two zippers on top and velcro underneath the buckle. It seems like triple redundancy here. I guess the bag won't open from the top by accident unless you forget to zip, velcro, and buckle it up.

While it has a TON of storage space for gear, it does not have much pocket space for knick knack stuff (i.e. lens cleaning stuff, battery charger, lots of batteries, cables, manuals, lens caps) There is one very small pocket on the top labeled "Pocket" and a small non expanding pocket on the side that barely fits what I need in it.

All in all, this is a great sling that has lots of space if you have one big lens like the 80-200 and want to fit a bunch of smaller lenses and other stuff. I do like this bag and I will not be returning it.

Bought this bag at a discount on Black Friday and I received it 2 days later. Amazing Amazon.

Firstly the pros. It is a well made bag with quality material. I have the Lowepro SlingShot 100 AW so I like the sling bag design. The Lowepro strap goes over the left shoulder while the Manfrotto strap goes over the right shoulder.

Now the cons. I hate the design of this bag. It is very hard to reach the inside compartments. There are only 2 small openings to the inside of the bag: one side opening, where you put your camera, and the other at the top. If you put your extra batteries and lens at the bottom of the bag and behind the camera body compartment, it is a pain to retrieve them; you'll have to unbuckle the top, unzip the top zippers, empty the top compartment, remove the top velcro compartment padding and then reach inside to fish for whatever you're looking for. Stupid design. I chose this bag because it can carry a tripod, but that too is badly designed. It basically come with 2 loose straps so that you can attach the tripod. This is insecure and it's easy to lose the straps.

If I had bought this bag from a retail store, I would have returned it. I'm going to stick to Lowepro bags better design with more attention to details.

Update: It is much easier to access the inside of the bag from the side opening. However, I do not like peeling those sticky velcro padding to access the inside of the bag. I prefer sling bags with zipper openings to get to the inside compartments from outside, such as the sling bags by Vanguard and Lowepro. I am changing my rating from 3 to 4 stars.

Best Deals for Manfrotto MB SS390-5BB AGILE V Sling Bag -Black

This is my second camera bag. My other bag which is the Kata DR-467i is great because it holds a laptop and virtually everything I own related to my camera. I wanted something else though for the days when I don't want to lug everything I own with me in a large backpack. The Manfrotto sling does the job. It's small and compact which is great because it doesn't over-dominate me as a short, small-framed female.

The aesthetics are great. It does have that tech-y look to it but it doesn't quite scream that it's a camera bag like the ubiquitous Lowepro slings. I don't feel as nervous walking around with this bag as I think I would if I had a sling or backpack with an obvious logo or camera bag design.

Design wise, it is built to be an easy access bag so I have accepted that I should use it for that purpose. While it quite possible to fit a number of lenses in this bag, you will be juggling around because. The padding will probably be arranged so that not everything will be at your fingertips. Some of the items may be packed away behind a velcro divider (or two). The set up may require a bit of juggling so it's something to think about if you're the type to travel with your entire arsenal.

However, it's a great bag for walking around with a light tripod, camera with a lens or two and lunch in the top pocket. I can easily manage sneaking a couple shots here and there or a lens change and back into the bag, the camera goes.

Honest reviews on Manfrotto MB SS390-5BB AGILE V Sling Bag -Black

Last week, I bought the 5BB sling bag which is very similar in dimensions and framework to the one that was in the deal. I am just about OK with it but not really sure if I will be keeping it because there is no room for growth and not enough places to store accessories. It is a small daypack.

I am able to squeeze in a 580 EX size flash, the 5D MII with the 70-200 L IS II attached, along with the 24-105L lens. There is no room for any more lens. Probably I can squeeze in another small lens. there is a small pouch for SD/compact flash cards etc. And a side pocket for probably a filter or two and a battery. That is about it. There is really no room for growth or accessories. Build is very good though. There is excellent padding for camera and lens. One thing though it might be ok for me to just keep it just because it was only 30$ (after rebate). For the price, it is ok.

Bought this for my girlfriend so she could carry her DSLR for snapping pictures while we ski. It was one of the best investments for the camera we bought so far. The sling feature is great as she can easily work in and out of the bag without having to balance it on shoulder like a normal backpack. It fits her camera, an extra lens, all her filters, batteries and more, and holds her ski poles perfectly where a tripod would normally go.

The best bag I've seen yet.

I bought this because with the case designed for my Kodak Easy Share has no pockets for extra batteries or memory sticks. I have lost batteries and memory sticks out of it when taking the camera out for a quick shoot. That soft, old case is very poorly designed even for holding the camera securely.

For this case, I liked that it would provide more protection and also had an interior elastic-top pocket for small extras. Problem is, the case is a bit too snug. The camera has a nice elastic band to hold it in place on one side. But the only extras that can possibly fit in the pocket and allow the case to close are one or two memory sticks. No batteries! The case also has no clips for the belt or a strap. It wouldn't fit into the old case either. It's going back, alas.

This is a nice bag for the Nikon S6500 series CoolPix camera or any small digital for that matter. it has two storage bins, well padded, a carry handle, and a strap. It holds almost everything you would need on a trip except for the USP cable used for charging and file transfer. It holds the camera, stores 2 batteries, extra Micro Cards and the charger unit. When you try to put the USP cable in the bag it's too much. I hope the manufactures will work on that.

I purchased 3 floating camera straps the Vivatar, the Olympus and the Chums -since they were all pretty inexpensive and they all seemed to have good reviews and bad reviews. After trying out all 3 I decided the Olympus will go with me on my next snorkeling adventure with my new Nikon Coolpix AW100 (which I absolutely love but that's for another review). Here are my observations on all three straps. I ordered all 3 in yellow the Vivatar was a kind of dingy orangish yellow while the other two were a bright yellow which I felt would be easier to spot so score 1 for Olympus and Chums. The Vivatar and Olympus both were easy to dry off while the Chums is made of a kind of spongy material which doesn't dry off right away so score one for Vivatar and Olympus. The Olympus and Chums fit my wrist very nicely whereas I wasn't quite sure how to attach the Vivatar to my person. I thought the Olympus when it was cinched up fit my wrist especially well so score two for Olympus and one for Chums. A side note here I have an average man's size hands whereas my wife has long slender hands. The Olympus slid right off of her hand even when it was cinched up so the Chums might actually work better for her. The Olympus and the Chums both seemed more buoyant than the Vivatar. The Vivatar failed the bathtub test filling my bathtub to the top and dropping the strap into the water attached to the Nikon (it's a Jacuzzi tub so it's fairly deep). The Nikon was actually resting on the bottom of the tub with the Vivatar whereas it was not touching with the other two straps. The Vivatar was holding up one end of the camera so I suspect in deeper waters it would keep the camera floating but I don't know that for sure. Score one apiece for the Olympus and the Chums. One final observation and this one is a little subjective. The Olympus just seemed better constructed with more durable parts and connections than the other two. Score one point for Olympus. Final score => Vivatar 1 point, Olympus 6 points, Chums 3 points. Hope this is helpful

I bought this strap for a Kodak waterproof video camera. Although this seemed to be well constructed, it failed when I used it for my snorkel trip to Hawaii. The cord that connected the float to the camera broke. If it weren't for a miracle of a nice young man who dove down at least 20 feet to retrieve the camera I would have lost some of the best videos I have ever shot of dolphins and manta rays. Don't buy this cord. I also have an Olympus cord for my still camera and it has held up much better than this cord that I only used for one trip.

I bought this product without reading comments because it just looked like exactly what I wanted... then I got it, and saw a huge flaw. The black clip pops off soooo easy!!!! BUUUTTTTT, let me tell those who have bought this already that it is okay. You can rig it like I have to make this a perfectly good device. Besides, the other alternatives are bulky and ugly in my opinion, right? Okay. So the idea is to attach your original camera's wrist strap along side of this floatable strap. Once both are attached (you might already see where I am going with this), you send the original strap thru the yellow float strap (thru the large hole for your wrist) and then send your entire camera thru your original strap on the other side. This is what I call lassoing your original strap to your float strap as a backup cord. This way you get a secure connection to your camera and a nice slick looking float.

I also added pics of this to the product on amazon for you to check out for added support. Hope this helps!! PS. Chums should have made a better product in the first place, but lets make lemonade out of a lemon!

Honest reviews on Chums Waterproof Camera Float

Bought this for a cruise to use with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2, which Amazon tells me weighs 5.9 oz. It was easy to connect (and disconnect with a quick release), floated to the top of the water quickly, held up well and was easy to see from a ways away. It is much better looking than some of the life vest looking ones on Amazon. Great product that did exactly what it was supposed to.

I used it for 3-4 times and the little string attached to the camera broke in a cave in the Dom.Rep and the cam is on the ground now. It's a frequent thing check the other bad reviews...

Don't loos your cam over this or handle with care!!

It serves to protect the camera, as I had wanted. Only negative is that it is a bit massive for my wee camera, but that is something at which I can work around.

This beauty fits my camera perfectly with plenty of room for extra SD cards, your credit cards and a few bucks. Take it on your jog or a walk on mountain trails. Just clip it to a belt loop and forget it until a photo op appears.
