If you have a Sony Cybershot digital camera, you should get this case to protect it. I bought 3 different cases for my new WSC-290 because I could't find the right one, and then I came across this. It is better than the LCS-CST soft carrying case because it has a zipper that encloses your camera all the way. If you drop it accidentally in water, there's a good chance you can prevent water from getting inside the case compared to the Velcro lock of the LCS-CST soft carrying case. I also bought the Sony LCS-TWE soft carrying case with carabineer (available in different colors) but it only looks cute, not sturdy.

This also has a front pocket and a strap in the back that can be attached to your belt or bag if you get tired of holding it.

I wanted a case that just BARELY fit my HX5v so that it wouldn't add significant bulk, but would protect the camera from bumps and maybe have enough space for a spare battery/memory card.

This is the case for that. I can BARELY fit a spare battery in the external "pocket", and it would be plenty secure. The camera fits nice/fine inside. If I didn't put an extra battery outside, I could fit 2-3 memory cards in their protective cases in the external pocket. Otherwise, a couple of them will fit in with the camera.

I'm very happy with this purchase exactly what I wanted.

I purchased this case to protect my new Sony Cybershot W150. It's a compact designed case and the camera fits nicely inside. However, the smaller compartment does not comfortably hold accessories, namely the battery case for the camera (it fits in the compartment but appears to stretch the case slightly). On top of that, this camera case does not come with a shoulder strap or clips to attach a shoulder strap; it's meant to be placed on your belt. It's good for protecting a compact cybershot camera, but if you prefer a case with a shoulder strap you'd be better off looking at a different case.

The case was supplied for a Sony DSC-HX5. However it is much too deep. The camera is shirt pocket size but once in the case it becomes really bulky. It bounces around in the case and you can almost fit another camera in with it. I will need to look for a new case. As I am overseas it is not worth returning it and will write this off as a bad purchase. They should not recommend a generic sony case which is too big for the camera.

In looking for a case to protect my camera I found this to be an excellant choice. It is well made, has a magnetic latch, fits perfectly and at a great price. I have an older Nikon case for the earlier version of this camera. It has a pocket for an extra card and battery. It was four times the cost of this one and the only advantage was the pocket and a belt loop. Which, by the way, made it thicker taking up more room. This one my wife carries in her purse. Looking for one that protects the finish and screen, this one fits the bill. Five stars for it filling my needs and if you want the other features, buy one that advertises the options. This in a very nice case.

This is a great basic leather case for the cameras that fit. Well built, durable and stylish, it is exactly what you need if you want to offer your camera basic protection and storage. The people that have ranked it poorly evidently did not read the product description and had unrealistic expectations, like extra storage space, straps, pockets, etc. Look at the picture, check out the dimensions and use common sense people!!

The 930 case is solid, perfect size for carry-on-even on smaller regional planes-and is better engineered than the "other" cases. The latches are genius: bombproof yet easy to operate. The dividers offer much sturdier protection than the cubed foam if you want to fully load the case. Bigger lenses like a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR or 135mm f2 fit nicely sideways, an 85mm will go in vertically. A Nikon D700 DSLR stands upright but taller bodies like a D3s or D3x will only stand up if the hotshoe presses flush inside the lid, which is bad juju, so best layout will be to put them flat. Overall an excellent value for optimal protection for your expensive gear!

The Nanuk 930 is a great case, especially for photographers on-the-go like myself. I have taken two big trips with this case, and was extremely impressed with its light weight, portable size and durability. It fits my 15" laptop plus accessories, including an external hard drive, quite comfortably. The "powerclaw" latches are easy to use and don't pop open, which adds a sense of security when you're running around carrying multiple cases and equipment. I have been partial to Pelican cases in the past, but the Nanuk 930 is lighter than my Pelican equivalent, and I also prefer the Nanuk's powerclaws to the Pelican's latches. My only complaint is that the Nanuk cases do not fit together quite as well as the Pelican cases when stacked on top of each other, which makes maneuvering and storing the cases a bit more difficult. Fortunately, that is a minimal flaw in comparison to the case's other attributes. I would highly recommend this case to other photographers, especially for extended traveling.

I purchased this bag about a year ago and i love it. I would consider myself an intermediate photographer. I generally carry my DSLR w/ a standard 18-135 zoom lens, a spare 50mm lens, a few standard accessories (spare battery, xfer cable, mini tripod), and a water bottle (a Nalgene sized bottle will fit, but it's tight, something a hair smaller works perfectly). One of the reasons i got the bag was because it wasn't too big or heavy, but would / could accommodate a bigger zoom lens if i ever got one. (I wasn't sure the comparable Lowepro offerings would, at least while the lens was attached to the camera body) The fact that i can stash a water bottle in there is a bonus. Of course the extra weight of the water bottle can become noticeable on one's shoulder after a while.. but.. i usually drink most of it b4 that happens...

The 'sling' mechanism took a minute to get used to, but i now find I can go from the bag on my back , to shooting in just a few seconds. i have never really used the additional (waist?) strap that stashes away inside the bag, so i won't comment on it.

the only (minor) complaint i would have would be the zipper on top (for the main opening) i often find myself reaching for the wrong side.. i wish it had like a 2-way zipper allowing you to open from either end...

As I'm sure many people have (and would, hopefully this review can change that), I bought this little pack along with my new Canon Powershot SD780 IS so it wouldn't get ruined.

First off, this is a generic little pack that is not specialized for the SD780IS--the case is a little too large, and the screen protector is about double the size. The case is alright if you pack a few things with it; otherwise your camera is going to get knocked around pretty badly. The screen protector, however, is not worth the price. It's way too large for the screen, so you'll have to cut it yourself. If you mess that up, it's worthless.

Covering the entire back of the camera wouldn't work too well and there'd probably be a bit of glare.

Don't make the mistake of buying this pack. The case has a bad size and the screen protector is worthless. $5 would be alright, but add on shipping and it's a complete waste of your time.

I bought this case for my Canon Powershot SD780IS 12.1 MP digital but it didn't work perfectly. The case didn't protect my camera from shock. Besides, it was too big for Canon SD780IS. Once you put your camera inside it, you could hear that the camera is moving back and forth. So, I returned the item to the seller. Until now, they still refuse to refund me fully, I don't know for what reason. My advice, don't ever try to buy from this seller if your camera like mine. It would be very disappointing experience for you!!!

This is the type of camera pouch you would want to keep your pricey point-and-shoot digital camera in. I don't know what this is made of, but after a few hiking trips and being stuffed in luggage, the outer material has yet to show any scuffs or scratches. The inner material looks to be microfiber and will not scratch your camera. There is a velcro holder inside and camera stays snug, and may survive a drop once inside this case. There is also a little extra pocket inside for additional batteries or SD cards. This pouch also has a very useful steel C-Clip, which attaches to your belt or bag strap.

This is not the type of camera pouch, however, you would want if you spot a good photo op and need to get the camera out ASAP. You have to unzip the whole clamshell from end to end and it opens flat out. If you do this in a hurry, there is a significant risk of dropping things you placed in the inner pocket (this always happens to me, and I once dropped a battery into footdeep snow!)

Overall, an OK product, but a great product for the price..!

This is the most beautiful camera bag I've also bought, but it's also extremely functional for a small kit. I bought the "Alice" bag to use with two small 6 X 4.5 medium format folding cameras; a Zeiss Super Ikonta A, 531 and a back-up Ikonta A 521, plus a meter, lens hood, assorted filters and film. I was impressed that Billingham provided enough movable dividers [more than most people would need] to make compartments for these small items. The bag is quite comfortable to carry, probably because it's soft and molds to your body, but there's enough cushioning for protection. I especially like that the bag closes securely with just two leather fasteners and there's no need for velcro or zippers. On top of it all, I saved about $100 by buying a bag labeled as "used--good" although it appears to be new and unused.

My wife Charlie Trash bought me this wonderful Alice Bag by Billingham for all my new camera equipment. The old Alice Bag had become gray. I plan on giving this Alice Bag a real hard workout. There's plenty of room in there to cram all my big equipment inside. It won't be a tight fit.

This strap is good qualitystrong & well made with nice finished edges and quick release buckles, comfortable neoprene of adequate width... just not for me. I prefer my camera snug up high, closer to my head than this strap allows. Even adjusted all the way up, it left my camera sitting in my lap which just isnt comfortable for me -might be perfect for someone taller or who wants camera hanging further down.

I going to write a review of a foam divider set... because the one here before me, is completely ridiculous and gives no useful information as a review. I actually purchased the item and use it. Yes this cost over 100 dollars, yes it foam but it so much more than just foam. I posted a image so you can see what the actual item you will receive for the 1600. One layer "tray" (not two as pictured) with multiple foam dividers covered in nylon, Velcro, and Velcro friendly material. The divider system is very very customizable. It has made my case so much more useful. Going from the pickn'pluck material I purchased the 1600 with, to this set-up... is a far more efficient a use of space. I can place 3-4 times more items in it now. When your protecting 12-15k worth of camera gear in this Pelican case, this is essential for your piece of mind and the safety of your valuables (also pictured is the lid organizer available for the 1600 case). I highly recommend both items.
