This is a great case for storing the Nikon D7000. The case holds the camera with lens on it, two other lens, remote, and cleaning supplies. Only negative is the foam insert in the case. It was hard to customize to fit my equipment. Some pieces are already torn out. But overall, I have been very happy with the case. Good protection for your photo equipment.

Specifically, the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II AF-S can fit in the large pocket if you remove the hood and tripod foot. The review stating that the side pocket could not fit this lens almost lead me not to buy this bag, so I thought I'd post a video of how to get the lens to fit in case it is relevant to other buyers.

Frankly, the 70-200 fits in the main compartment with hood and tripod foot attached to a D800, so I think this is how I'll carry it most often -I use a RapidStrap, so the tripod foot is pretty much necessary to balance it correctly. The Nikon 24-70 can fit in the large side pocket at the same time, easily.

Sorry about the volume level on the video, but I think you can see everything necessary. :)

I recently bought this quick access Kata bag and I am extremely satisfied! It holds my Canon 60D with battery grip and a 70-300mm IS USM lens attached with no problem. In the larger side compartment I can fit my 70-300mm lens perfectly when not in use. I also carry my 18-135mm IS lens so I can switch back and forth both lenses when needed. In the other but smaller side compartment, I carry a battery charger, cleaning lens pen, small flash light or my Canon G11. The element cover fits perfectly and the shoulder strap fits comfortably. My gear is well protected and I carry it everywhere I go. I highly recommend this product when you want to carry your basic photography equipment.

Best Deals for Kata KT PL-A-18 Pro-Light Access-18 Holster

I was looking for a holster-style bag for me to carry my Canon 6D plus battery grip, my Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L, and perhaps a small lens (50mm, Lensbaby, etc.). I have a sling bag that worked well for my old T2i, but was a bit small for the bulkier 6D. I looked at ThinkTank as well as some other companies before coming across Kata, a brand I had not heard of. Despite having few reviews, I liked what I saw and decided to take a chance.

I am very happy with the Access-18. It holds the pro-size body (6D + grip) perfectly and handles the 70-200mm with the hood reversed, which is just fine for me. The bottom does expand to accommodate the hood in position, but the bag would then not sit up properly. The d-rings for the strap are both on the body-side of the bag. This causes cross-body carrying to be more comfortable than same-side carrying. Same-side isn't awful, just a tiny bit awkward.

There is a small mesh pocket on the inside that could hold a lens cap while shooting or some business cards. On the outside sides, there are two pockets. Currently, the smaller one holds my body cap/lens end cap plus the weather cover (reversible rain (black) and sun (silver)). The larger one holds my second lens (Nifty Fifty or Lensbaby Composer), but could easily hold a flash or even a 24-70 L.

The bag itself is very light, which is nice when the equipment is heavy enough. While the zippers are not as nice as ThinkTank's, the bag as a whole is certainly worth owning.

I contacted customer service regarding the difference between the Access PL-18 and the PL-17 and they did a great job in responding in a timely fashion (sent at 5pm ET, response at 9:30am ET the next day). For what it is worth, "the 18 is replacing the 17. The 18 has a wider interior dimension to accommodate professional DSLR's or DSLR's with accessory battery grips."

I highly recommend this for both regular and pro-size bodies and those shooters that are looking for a light weight, quality bag to carry a lens or two.

Honest reviews on Kata KT PL-A-18 Pro-Light Access-18 Holster

Pros...able to hold my 70-200 easily and room for a mixture of my 50prime, 18-135, WA &/or fisheye. Like the ability to extend the bottom for additional lenses...but be sure to put additional protection at the bottom since its not padded.

Cons....as a shorter lens carrier, my trusty 18-135, the camera (Nikon D80) sinks to the bottom, since its 1 open space, unlike my Lowepro TZ2 toploader which has velcro to support the camera, so I put in a velcro insert to hold the camera higher and it seems to work well and I have room for an additional lens on the bottom. This is the only negative I see.

I always want to travel light without carry huge bag with my camera gears. I did some research and found out this KATA holster fits my need and so as design. I have Nikon d7000 along with 18mm-200mm lens and 70-200mmm. The KATA website clear state the side pocket will fits 70-200mm, wrong!! it doesn't fits at all. I have tried any possibility to make my lens stay in, but there is no way to close the zipper. I also have Nikon SB-800 flash light, and hopping to fit on other side of smaller pocket, it also doesn't fit at all. This is a well made and good design bag, but no way to fit longer lens to either side pocket unless you have shorter 70-200mm lens from other brand, definitely not Nikon.

This product is amazing, it gives such great protection and will last a really long time. I won't lie, it can be a bit of a trick to put on properly so much patience and a set of steady hands is recommended but once applied properly you will have unsurpassed protection.

Once applied you don't even realize it is on so that is a big plus when it comes to protecting the screens of my devices. Another thing that is a plus is that I have this product on two of my devices that are touch screens and it does not effect the operation of the touch screen in the slightest.

If I was to have any complaint at all it would be that you receive only one set with your order, if you have never applied one before then it is possible that you mess up the application because as I stated earlier, applying these is not really all that simple so if you mess it up youy pretty much out of luck and have to reorder another one.

Overall though this is a great product that I have purchased for all my phones and devices such as cameras and handheld gps units and what not and it has protected them from anything like being scraped up against a rock face I was climbing to being in my pocket with keys as I have ran to just being clumbsy and dropping my device and it landing on the covered area, never any scratches to the actual devices so I will continue to recommend this product and purchase it for my future devices.

Review of Tenba Black Label Shoulder Bag Large

Tenba Black Label 638-445 Large Shoulder Bag
Customer Ratings: 5 stars
Buy Now
Ok, so here's the deal. I've been a professional wedding/event photographer for about 15 years. I've gone through quite a few bags. This Tenba simply fits the bill for me in every way. Now, much of this is based on my line of work, my body type and my overall needs while on the job. I don't want to get too verbose on here, so lets go trhu this review.....in LIST form!

1. Looks: CHECK It's black, it's tough looking, it's not too over the top in style as to draw attention to it, but retains it's "professional" asthetic.

2. Feel: CHECK So this can be subjective according to your body type. I'm 6'-2", broad shoulders and weigh 210 lbs......okay, 211. I needed a bag that lays on my hip properly while hanging on my shoulder as well as proper weight distribution as to not cause shoulder/back/neck strain. Well, this thing is a wonder because even when filled to capacity it actually feels lighter than it looks. That really helps on a long day of shooting 6-12 hours. Everything is highly accessible even while it's on your shoulder.

3. Function: CHECK As with other bags you can customize the interior using the modular padded walls with velcro attached. This also goes a step further by providing you with proper cutouts to fit your lenses just right. The padding throughout the bag is more than perfect and almost overboard, but doesn't get in the way. Lets just say you never feel like ANY of your equipment is in any danger of being damaged. LOTS of pockets, pouches, HEAVY duty zippers and clips nicely round out the bag. There was a lot of attention spent on this bag. The double padded shoulder strap which is sort of like........a seatbelt with a molded/formed tough pad for your shoulder. The pad is curved in a way that prevents it rubbing against your neck. It's like Apple's attention to detail. It's really that good.

4. Application: CHECK Two camera bodies (Nikon D-300), one with a lens (Nikkor VR 18-200) attached in the upper compartment ready for you as soon as you open the top, two additional lenses, two flash guns and additional accessories in the inner-sub compartments, batteries in the outer side pocket (second outer pocket is reserved for used batteries throughout my day, double interior heavy duty pocket on the inside of the top flap holding a lot of incidental items, outer front compartment that containts three inner compartments for CF cards and additional compartments for more accessories....on and on and on. There's more but I'm tired of typing.

The long and short of this is that it holds everything that a pro-wedding/event photog needs with room for more and provides a level of comfort, functionality and security that many other bags just don't provide. The price tag is more than worth it in my estimation. I expect that this bag will last me a very long time 5-10 years and beyond. The materials used on this a very high quality and very heavy duty. There's no fussing about when you need that flash or lens or more batteries or cards or whatever. It's all there when you need it.

I know, I'm gushing about it. But when I find a product I like and has a great quality to price ratio, I like to scream about it because there are a lot of companies that promise, but very few that deliver.

If you're on the fence about it, don't be. Go and get it.

This is a nice bag.

I managed to put my Canon 5D with Battery pack with Manfroto large tripod head Quick release attached, A Canon F2.8 24-70 lens with shade inside the Canon bag, a Canon F2.8 IS 70-200 lens with Manfroto Large Quick Release attached, Bag and sun shade (which were stored separately in the compartment), a 2X extender in Canon bag, A Canon 580 EX II Flash (in Canon bag) a small canister (a pill Vile), with 8 AA batteries , a Remote switch which is in the original box and a Giotto Blower All in the main Compartment. The Main compartment is FULL!!! Don't expect to get anything more in it with the equipment I have mentioned. The bag could hold more lenses as long as they are smaller and, lenses such as I've mentioned aren't used. I can keep my 70-200 lens attached to my camera as long as I don't use the sunshade. There are other numerous compartments to hold many other items. the two end compartments have foam around the insides to help protect fragile items from the sides but Nothing but the Nylon on the bottom so, I'd get some small pieces of foam to place at the bottom of the side pouches. The Side pouches are fairly large and could easily hold a small lens such as a 50mm or a couple of other Flashes. The Shoulder strap is very nicely padded. It has Rubber skids on bottom of the bag. I like the attention to detail in this bag. I was hoping it would be a bit larger but, its very nice as it is. There are Larger Shoulder Bags out there for less money But, I'm happy with my purchase.

I hope this helps you.

Best Deals for Tenba Black Label Shoulder Bag Large

This camera bag holds more than enough gear -DSLR body, several lenses, flash, cables, charger, filters and memory cards in its two layers of storage and many pockets. It is great for keeping the entire camera system in one place and moving it to a new location. As a field bag, its ability to carry the kitchen sink and a spare engine block (hyperbole) make it a bit heavy for the single shoulder strap (truth), but it is not sold as a field pack. For serious expeditions it can carry the whole kit; leave it at base camp and transfer items needed for immediate use to a back pack or other more portable case. A serious lensman can never have too many bags.

Honest reviews on Tenba Black Label Shoulder Bag Large

This is a great bag. It has some features I have been looking for for example, there is a padded insert that the camera body sits on securely. Velcro is fixed to this so it is easy to store a less frequently used item (such as a battery charger) under the camera body. Padding and the zips and clips are all first class. I bought this from Amazon warehouse deals and the bag is in perfect condition. Well done Amazon and Tenba.

The 930 case is solid, perfect size for carry-on-even on smaller regional planes-and is better engineered than the "other" cases. The latches are genius: bombproof yet easy to operate. The dividers offer much sturdier protection than the cubed foam if you want to fully load the case. Bigger lenses like a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR or 135mm f2 fit nicely sideways, an 85mm will go in vertically. A Nikon D700 DSLR stands upright but taller bodies like a D3s or D3x will only stand up if the hotshoe presses flush inside the lid, which is bad juju, so best layout will be to put them flat. Overall an excellent value for optimal protection for your expensive gear!

The Nanuk 930 is a great case, especially for photographers on-the-go like myself. I have taken two big trips with this case, and was extremely impressed with its light weight, portable size and durability. It fits my 15" laptop plus accessories, including an external hard drive, quite comfortably. The "powerclaw" latches are easy to use and don't pop open, which adds a sense of security when you're running around carrying multiple cases and equipment. I have been partial to Pelican cases in the past, but the Nanuk 930 is lighter than my Pelican equivalent, and I also prefer the Nanuk's powerclaws to the Pelican's latches. My only complaint is that the Nanuk cases do not fit together quite as well as the Pelican cases when stacked on top of each other, which makes maneuvering and storing the cases a bit more difficult. Fortunately, that is a minimal flaw in comparison to the case's other attributes. I would highly recommend this case to other photographers, especially for extended traveling.

Case Logic SLRC-1Z SLR Camera Holster Case - Large
Customer Ratings: 4 stars

I'm extremely picky when it comes to cases. My Rebel XTi is also my baby, and I wanted something sturdy.

Things I Love:

-Hardshell bottom, protects the lens and lets the case stand upright

-Contemporary Design, futuristic with lots of ornamental elastic piping. Hip and sporty look.

-All Zipper closures, without velcro

-Generous depth, fits my Rebel XTi with EF 28-135 IS with room to spare

-Lots of pockets, no shortage of storage

-Very nice shoulder strap

-Lots of padding

Things I don't like:

-Weatherproof main zipper. While I appreciate the thought, it's very difficult to use the zipper, and I'm always worried I'm going to break it.

-Internal lycra lens sleeve. Hole is far too small for any large-sized zoom lens (what this case was designed to accomodate) and the velcro flaps for the sleeve make it impossible to keep a hood stored on your lens.

Given the fact that I enjoy taking my Nikon D80 with me as a frequent traveling companion, I sought a holster type case that wouldn't take up much more volume than the size of the camera and a zoom lens, yet would provide it with adequate protection from travel and the elements. I've found this case to be very well designed and built. Although I've never dropped my camera, the internal suspension of the case and it's reinforced bottom should provide the camera with substantial protection. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Best Deals for Case Logic SLRC-1Z SLR Camera Holster Case - Large (Black/Grey)

My D80 fits in here nice and snug. The problem is that my lens filter cases (UV, polarized, etc) don't fit in the provided pockets on the outside of the case. The pockets are just 1/4 to 1/2 inch short. The lens filter without a case would fit fine but that just doesn't sound right.

Honest reviews on Case Logic SLRC-1Z SLR Camera Holster Case - Large (Black/Grey)

Solid, yet relatively lightweight, protection for my D80 and 18-200mm lens. Has some room to spare for me to throw in a small casio exilim cam as well. Although I hope it never happens, the bottom seems solid, yet well cushioned, to protect the lens and cam. Would buy again.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Case Logic SLRC-1Z SLR Camera Holster Case - Large (Black/Grey)

I bought this case after getting a lens adapter and hood for my Canon Powershot S3 IS. My camera fits perfectly and there is a lot of cushioning. It is probably too small for a full size SLR, though. The inside has a shelf with a hole in it to support an attached telephoto lens, and it folds down if you don't need it. There are three exterior pockets and one on the inside. I can carry a mini-tripod, a small battery charger, extra memory cards, lens filters, and more batteries than I will need in the pockets. The pockets are a little too small for extra lenses, but there is enough room for another on the inside. On the outside, it has the same type of mesh cushioning that you find on newer backpacks, and a cushioned strap that can be tucked away when you don't need it. My only complaint is that the zipper on top can be a little hard to open and close, but the case is pretty well balanced, so I tend to leave it open a lot anyway. It is great to have when I go hiking.

The case is certainly compact. With just 1 inside zippered mesh pocket and room for a larger camera thats this case in a nutshell. It will only fit your camera and acouple memory cards. Maybe 4 extra batteries in the mesh pocket, certainly no charger. The case is well made and looks nice. It has a belt loop but no shoulder strap. The hood is closed by velcro only, no zippered hood. I purchased this for a Canon ELPH 300HS. I was looking for a small case just big enough for the camera and nothing else that would provide some protection, especially for the screen. This case does exactly what I wanted in the smallest possible package.

This little case is amazing. It has soft padding all around. The screen side has a hard insert to protect the screen. Zipper is good, allows the case to be closed with the camera strap hanging out so you can carry the camera so extra security. Only had it for a few weeks but seems really well made.

Fits Canon ELPH 300 HS PERFECTLY!!!

Best Deals for Case Logic UNZB-2 Compact Camera Case (Blue)

This was a perfect fit for my daughter's new Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS which I also purchased here. She's a 17 yr old tom girl who isn't exactly easy on her stuff. This case protects her camera very well.

Honest reviews on Case Logic UNZB-2 Compact Camera Case (Blue)

I read previous reviews about it being smaller than advertised, and since the device I was fitting in it was a good 3/4" smaller in Length & Width and the camera was roughly 3/4 to 7/8" thick, I figured it would fit fine. Well, it is a VERY tight fit. and makes me wonder if the zipper will hold up.

So, the dimensions listed are at least 1/4" per side generous when measuring the outside dimensions, and that's with it pressed flat. The usable inside dimensions are probably an inch less each direction. Put anything inside and those outside dimensions are now reduced alot more.

It'll fit an 5th gen IPOD nicely, any larger and the neoprene is stretching to fit.. :) Nice case however.

I got this for a Canon Elph SD1400is. As anyone who has this camera, or a model that shares the same Elph chassis knows, this is a very small gadget. This is one of the few cases that is a pretty good fit for this tiny device; I would completely recommend this case for the SD1400is, or a similar ultra-compact point and shoot. This is a soft case, although one side has pretty sturdy padding, so expect this to offer only moderate protection; this is not a 'save your camera from a drop' case. Build quality is very good, as has been my experience with Case Logic products in the past.

Over all I like the design of this product. The 2 plastic sides work well to protect the camera. Having said that, I bought this for my Coolpix S9300 which it stated that it should fit this camera, but it doesn't. You have to force the zipper to close and the stitching gets stretched trying to close it. Sooner or later you know it will eventually tear.

This camera case is very sturdy and protects the camera from accidental drops and splashes of liquids. A good fit for the Coolpix L26 camera. The inside has space for an extra SD cartridge also. If you are looking for a case that is small and slender this is not the case for you. I wanted to use it mainly for protection but it is too bulky to insert into a small purse.

I have a logitech compudaypack, which I love for taking my laptop, camera body, a couple of extra lenses and anything else I may need with me daily, but I was looking for a good backpack I could use just to carry all my photo gear for when I go out on photowalks. It was between this one and the amazon basics, but I wanted to try this bag for the price and because I liked the layout, which was hard to find pics of online. The material is pretty cheap, the zippers are pretty horrible, especially because material overlaps where the zippers are and sometimes they get stuck. The padding inside is decent. I meant to send it back and get the amazon bag or a tamrac one I liked, but I forgot to send it back. Basically, you get what you pay for.

I'm only using this for my 1986 Pentax SLR which does not weigh much comparatively to high end digital cameras. (I would NOT recommend this back for equipment over $200) For my uses, this suits me fine. Great sectioned compartments, small enough for hikes, holds all my stuff.

As a hobby photographer I was looking for a bag to store my light stands and umbrellas when not in use. Most bags I have found are designed to hold items much longer than I need (or are too expensive or both) so I took a chance on this 30" bag as the price was right. The bag will zip open on one end for access and also has a zipper that runs the length of the bag. There are two internal "sleeves" running the length of the bag. Each will hold one light stand. My stands are 6 and 7 feet with collapsed lengths of 27.5" and 28.5" respectively. This 30" bag is just (barely) long enough for my taller stand. The smaller stand seems to be made for this bag (or vice versa). I have a shoot through and two reflective umbrellas and unfortunately this bag is too small to hold all three plus two stands. It will hold two stands and two umbrellas however. There is a zippered outer pouch that easily holds my two umbrella/flash brackets. (one of my stands came with a bag that will hold two umbrellas so I'm covered there) There is no shoulder strap on the CowboyStudio bag as another reviewer has stated. The bag does have two carry strap "handles" however that Velcro together like a gym bag. They have been sewn on about 1.5" off center. How do you say quality control in Chinese? Even though this item came sealed in plastic the bottom of the carry bag was very soiled--like it had been put down on a dirty floor. All said, this carry bag will be fine for my needs and may do the same for you. Just be sure to measure carefully. This may be a 30" bag but that is an OUTSIDE measurement. For infrequent use you can not beat the price of this bag.

This case holds my umbrella flash stand & my tripod perfectly & has room to fit more when I decide to buy. Zippers are nice and sturdy (thoroughly tested by a curious 4 year old!). This case even protected against water when accidentally dropped in a puddle. Will definitely buy more in the future!

I like the case but wished it was smaller. The Canon SD1300 moves around in it. I need to figure out how to add some padding to the side of the case so the camera stays in place.

Otherwise the case is very protective as far as being durable. I'd rate it 5 stars if it had fit my camera as the item description stated.

the strap disintigrated and the camera case does not have easy access. It is an okay product but not the best!

I bought this to slip into both small and medium sized Timbuk2 classic messengers. I also use the Timbuk2 Snoop insert regularly, so this is more a comparison of the two. The primary reason I went with the Ape Case was size. It's a few inches less wide and slightly less deep. The size is absolutely perfect for carrying around a Sony NEX-6 with three prime lenses and still leaves me with just enough room left over in the small messenger for a water bottle, notebook, snacks, etc. This is my go to insert when I need to carry other things in my bag. However, if I'm out shooting and don't need anything but my gear, I'll use the Timbuk2 every time. The Ape Case, outside and in, is made from some type of nylon. Feels like a windbreaker. The adjustable inserts and outside padding are just adequate. They provide me with just enough protection that I don't cringe carrying around my modest setup. If I had purchased this to carry gear more substantial than my setup, I would have immediately returned it. It's not bad, it's pretty inexpensive, it helps keep your bag organized. Just don't order this expecting it to come as nicely padded as some other inserts, or with a soft plush lining like you'd find in the Snoop.

Quality of the bag is good and light in weight. Small in size, it fits nicely in my backpack, though I think this is made for a Ape bag altogether. If you have a DSLR with a decent sized lens, and or battery grip, this is not the bag for you.

If you've got a smaller DSLR like a Rebel T2i T3i or similar, with a kit lens or smaller prime lens, this works perfectly. My Canon 60D with a 10-22mm lens is loose fit. room on the sides for charge and maybe a small prime lens, but thats it.

Overall it works for keeping your camera safe and dry while inside another bag, small enough to fit in a messenger or lager size bag.

I was looking for a small camera bag for my Micro 4/3 camera system, and ended up

buying a small messenger bag instead. So I needed an insert for the messenger bag.

This case looks a bit cheap in the photo but it's much nicer in person.

It's small and sturdy enough for my Micro 4/3 camera and lenses.

With only two compartment dividers, and not much room for other configurations, it still

gives a very nice fit for my small messenger bag with an ample-enough space for my purpose. Other big camera system might be too large for this item.

Even though it's good overall, I believe they could've used a better color

than this yellow(so 1 star goes).

This is exactly perfect for what I needed. I do field trips with my daughter, randoms sporting events, and other activities. My camera case won't hold my water bottle, wallets, phone, etc. So I am able to put my camera in this and place it in any size back pack with the other items I need for the outing! Thanks perfect!

This is an excellent item to stick into the main compartment of a tactical sling to convert it into a DSLR camera sling.
