This case says it can hold 20 different cameras, and lets not forget: and more. Got this for the Kodak C182. It fit in the case, after shoving it in, and turning it around after it forced open the battery cover. Put it in to leave it there to stretch it out. All I am saying is to expect that it may not be the best for every single camera ever created, so look at that return policy if you plan to purchase, because your camera may not actually fit.

I'm not sure why the item is described as "Deluxe". Camera fits exactly, so you won't have to worry about shaking inside the case. On the other side, case is concieved to fit the camera only, and maybe an extra sd card and your usb cable but nothing else. Considering that the fz200 includes a tulip hood and a battery charger. Also, even if zippers feel solid, since space is so tight and no design protections are considered you'll have to be careful to avoid accidental scratches to your camera.

My conclusion is that the "Deluxe Panasonic Carrying case for Panasonic Lumix FZ200" accomplishes its basic purpose but only partially to be considered as a "deluxe" product.

This line of cases are very well made....well padded, well designed. The model 5501 is similar but a few inches shorter and half the price. I have the 5501 and it fits my gear perfectly BUT....my Nikon 55-300 lens won't fit if mounted to the body. This case will do that....so I will have to get this one. Cords, extra battery,extra memory and filters all fit in the front compartment. If in doubt at all about the size difference between the two models, go for this slightly bigger one.

One of my concerns with shopping online is not being sure of the dimensions of the bag even though it has product information. The feel of the material and how its put together is something you can't discern from reading a description so I did a lot of shopping around for a camera bag in stores. I saw this one in the store and compared prices and it turns out it was $10 less from amazon.

I am very pleased with the bag. It met all my requirements with durability, versatility and the compartments adjustments just fit my camera and lenses perfectly. It is also very easy to carry around and have a quick access to change lenses or something.

I like how it has padding on both the top and bottom. I feel that my camera is well-insulated from all 6 sides. I also like how the top flap has both a zipper and a buckle closure for added security. (I also own a Tamrac Adventure Messenger 3, which has neither padding on the top flap nor a zipper closure.) I do not have a grip on my camera, so the depth is more than plenty. I keep the hood on my Canon 24-105 lens reversed, and I have at least an inch of room at the top of the bag to spare. It's a very well-built bag. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the bag looks bulky when I carry it around (I am only 5'1"). I don't think I'd use it if I were traveling or walking around town, but for toting my expensive gear in a car and going to, say, a party, wedding, etc. in town, it's great. I think when I travel or have to walk around all day outside, I will look for something more discreet that doesn't scream "I'm carrying around an expensive camera".

I've owned several camera bags including bags made by Domke, Lowepro and Olympus. The Tamrac Explorer 400 is by far my favorite bag. The padded shoulder strap, detachable raincover and padded compartments are all great, but what I especially love are all the handy pockets! The pocket in the top cover is especially handy for storing lens caps, microfiber cloths, etc. I also like the extra security of the inner zipper under the ample top cover. The only feature I do not like is the quick-release buckle, which is harder to open and close than the quick-release buckles on my older Tamrac Zoom Traveler 6 bag.

In terms of capacity, I usually carry either my Sony A57 or my larger Sony A700 with vertical grip attached and my CZ 16-80 zoom lens mounted on the camera, a Sony F43 flash, 2-3 extra lenses ranging in size from my Sony 35/1.8 to my Minolta 100-400 APO zoom, a handful of filters, an RF remote shutter release, a small battery charger, and extra battery, extra memory cards, a couple Lens Pens, a Rainsleeve, a Lumiquest SoftScreen pop-up flash diffuser, and either my LumiQuest SoftBox or my LumiQuest ProMax System. There is also room for a small notebook or manual in the back pocket.

This is actually my second purchase of the same camera bag; I loved the first one so much I had to buy one for my husband. This bag carried my Sony SLT-A55V through long trips in New Zealand, Nepal, Africa, China, Dubai, and countless trips here at home in the US. During all of my foreign travels I essentially carry it everywhere, and its function has been everything I could want, especially on long day trips or hiking. All of the pockets contain additional "inset pockets" of varying sizes, which makes them very versatile. The two side pockets and their additional "inset" pockets are PERFECT for carrying a small sunblock, insect repellant, lip balm, a tissue packet, and other small miscellaneous objects useful when traveling, such as a small room key or hotel business card. The larger pocket on the front is the right size to hold something oversized, such as a room key attached to a large wooden block. Personally, however, I like to use the front pocket to hold my camera battery charger, 3 spare camera batteries (in the inset "net" pocket) and 2 extra SDHC Cards (in the two small interior pockets seemingly designed for this purpose; the pockets are perfectly sized for a good "tight" fit for SDHC cards). Thus, I avoid opening the front pocket unless I'm changing batteries or SDHC cards. Instead, I find that the main interior of the bag is just roomy enough for such a purpose, and also safe; the pocket is deep enough that a large key is under no danger of falling out, even when I take out my camera. Using the Sony A55 camera with the moderately sized Sony 18-250 mm lens, I also have enough room in the main pocket to store a small water or juice can for a long day of hiking or exploring a remote town. This is VERY handy on long uphill hiking treks; in Nepal for example I was able to access juice cans easily from my camera bag, and replace them in villages along the way, all without ever removing my backpack. This extra space is also handy to store a small purchase, such as aspirin or a small carved object, without having to carry it around in a separate bag.

Clearly, versatile features are one reason I find this bag essential for travel--but, back to its use for my actual camera. With the padding inside the bag, I always feel that my camera is extremely well protected, even when the bag gets bumped around a little. There is also a velcro-closed inside pocket in the main compartment of the bag, which I use to hold polarizing /filtering lenses. This would also be a fine location to store camera batteries. The bag is extremely durable and comfortable, even when worn almost continuously in various travel conditions. The dimensions of the bag are just right; structured well and large enough to feel stable when I set it on any surface, yet small and light enough to feel so natural when worn. The only feature I find less than desirable is the attached lens cleaning cloth. The cloth is literally sewn in one side at the top of the interior pocket, which makes it difficult to maneuver sometimes to clean the lens, and also limits the methods of cloth cleaning. I could cut the cloth off, but then it could be more easily lost. Personally I'd prefer if the cloth was affixed with something like a few small snaps, to be detachable. Still, this is a very minor flaw. Overall, this is a highly functional and versatile camera bag that I consider as important for traveling as any suitcase or backpack.

As one other reviewer describes, this case is really small. I incorrectly assumed it would contain my DMC-LX5, but it is not even close. So no big deal, got it for $5 dollars on an amazon special and perhaps I'll use it to hold one of my Ipods as it is nicely built.

This is a decent padded case for the price. There is a lot of padding, so it is good for fragile objects or unusually shaped objects. I use it for my ContourHD camera and the side pocket fits my spare battery. You could also put an iphone (just barely) or ipod in there and put your headphones in the pocket. Check the dimensions to see if another item will fit. The case is not very thick, so thin pocket video cameras like Flips and Vados should fit, but boxy P&S compact cameras may not.

I have been searching for a good camera bag for awhile now. Not only a decent size but comfortable and for me this bag works. On a recent trip to the Zoo I took with me my camera Canon 30D w/battery grip, 24-70mm 2.8L w/hood reversed, 70-200mm 2.8 w/hood reversed, 1.4X & 2.0X teleconverter, spare batteries, spare memory card, blower, monopod and water bottle and a few other items. The strap never "hurt" my shoulders (at times I would switch when one got tired). Access to needed equipement was fast and easy. When I put the bag down it stayed up-right and there was room for more if I wanted. I have learned that hard way to properly plan and to carry only what you need on plan on using, but sometimes you must be prepared for the unexpected. For me this bag fits the bill. Originally I was stuck on trying out the Sling style bags, Tamerac velocity 7 & 9. I quickly out grew the velocity 7 once I got the battery grip and the 9 was just too uncomfortable for me once I started adding more gear no matter how I tried adjusting the strap(s) and you can only where them one way. In addition I like the fact of the weather proctection build in! I don't have to worry about carrying a plastic bag big enough to cover everything (just in case but if you only shoot indoors this wouldn't be a issue for you). This bag has a cover neatly hidden away.

I my opinion it is a welcome a great addition, one that will stay with me for a long time...

I've used a lot of different bags over the years and this is my favorite for travel and location shooting. It sits very well on the shoulder, never slipping.

There is plenty of room. I pack a 5D with mongo lens, two 580EXII's in their cases, a 50mm, a 17-40 L wide angle and a 28-135 telephoto. The side compartment gobbles up plenty of extra batteries, filters, cards, etc.

When traveling it unpacks easily for security to inspect.

The Pro Mag 2 AW will hold a 70-200mm lens vertically and has room to add a full size DSLR and 3-4 additional lenses. The exterior front pocket is large enough to hold two flash in the SB800/580EX size range and it has an interior set of pockets, one large one that is zippered and an another zippered clear pocket on the lid. It is as small a bag as you will find to hold a full size DSLR and and a full set of lenses. The zippered pockets are perfect for small items and the other interior pockets are excellent for filter cases or other accessories.

The case is well made though the interior on mine has separated as the lining material is not as tough as it should be for a camera bag. The two buckles are good for quickly attaching the lid but the design is one that unless the zipper is used to seal the bag there is a large gap for dust and dirt to get inside. This is not a good bag choice for use in areas where there might be windblown dirt or sand as this bag will not keep it out while in use.

There are two straps on the bottom which do an excellent job of securing a small tripod (like the Cullman 1002) where it is out of the way but readily accessible something very rarely found on camera bags other than the backpack and roller types. The belt strap is not that good but it is easily replaced with a wider one and the belt loops are very convenient. With a good waist strap most of the weight is carried by the hips and this is much easier on the should when using the bag full loaded (easily can be 12-15 pounds).

The lid design is the only serious flaw but one that limits my use of the bag to urban settings. For outdoor use there are better bags with large flaps but the ones from LowePro lack waist straps or even belt loops so I usually buy one from another company.

The Lowepro Pro Mag 2 AW, belying its compact size, holds a Nikon D700 body with grip and 24-70 f/2.8 attached, plus a 35mm f/2, an 85mm f/1.8, a Lensbaby Composer, a 70-200 f/2.8 VRII, a 16mm f/2.8 fisheye, a flashbracket and SC-29 cord, two SB-800 speedlights, plus spare batteries, CF cards, a tripod plate, and a cable release.

A Lowepro bottle attachment (sold separately) helps keep you hydrated.

An elastic rain cover is built in and cleverly sewn into a back pocket so that you won't lose it and can swiftly position it over the bag. The zippers and the whole construction look well-done and sturdy, though the zippers are not the virtually water-proof kind like those found on my Tenba Shootout rolling backpack. Then again, a nice luggage label is attached, an essential accessory missing from all other photo bags I've ever bought, the Tenba included.

I don't think very highly of the loops in the lower front of the Lowepro bag. They are supposedly designed to hold a smallish tripod lengthwise. The bag's width is modest, however, and any decent tripod would stick out awkwardly on each end. I tried inserting a couple of compact Manfrotto Nano stands and one or two shoot-through umbrellas through the loops -same effect, and cumbersome to do besides. The loops would work much faster if they featured pinch-and-snap buckles. As it is, I removed the loops altogether. The same goes for the belt to secure the bag around your waist. I don't see the point. Best give the bag a little bit of room to move/shift as you walk, otherwise it'll slow you down.

The Lowepro bag received the thumbs-up in my personal and purely subjective shootout between it and the Tamrac Ultra Pro 11. For my taste, the Tamrac is too big and heavy when loaded up (though it is the way to go if you're packing two bodies and need an even bigger arsenal of lenses at your beck and call. The Tamrac, in addition to a second D700 with a 50mm f/1.4 lens, also holds the 14-24 f/2.8 plus a 70-300 telezoom. Nice, but that combination proved just too unwieldy, and I don't think my back could take it day in day out.) For my money, the Lowepro Pro Mag 2 AW offers the best compromise between roominess, portability, and flexibility. Recommended.

This bag is wonderful! Holds my 40D,10-22mm,18-200mm,100-400mm Canon lenses and still has room for extra batteries,memory cards,remote release,lens shades for all 3 lenses and filters of 77 and 72 mm.

Go buy one if you need most of your equipment with as I do. I'll be looking at a Lowepro back pack of some discription in the future.

Bought this bag 2nd-hand in like new condition for $100. I use it to carry 40D+24-105 and 5D+ 100-400, and a Sigma 8mm fish or some little prime, or similar arrangement. This is one of the few bags that allow two body + two long zoom attached face down in the bag. So my choice is limited.

Pro:

Useful rain cover. I listed this as "useless" before and now after a trip to the snowy Lake Tahoe I changed my mind. This cover turned out to be really useful and effective. I ignored the light snow for a few minutes which almost killed my 5D camera. As the snow got heavier the bag starts to get dangerously wet and then I realized that I have this cover hidden inside the bag. It worked!

Neutral:

Some cute but not so useful gimmicks in the bag a rather large and bulky card folder (too large to be useful for me), a complicated (spells useless to me) body strap of some sort, two key links in the front pockets, two attached LCD wipes in the main divisions... I could do without any and all of these.

Con:

Uncomfortable shoulder belt (immediately replaced with my own taken from a laptop bag)

The top open zipper is of so-so quality, hard to open and close when the bag is loaded, must use both hands.

The pockets in the front are hard to reach. The front flap is hard to open once locked.

5D+big zoom can fit in 1 of the 3 vertical partition but not easy to taking it out or putting back in.

Bottom line -

This bag does serve my purpose, but rather awkwardly with little elegance. The design was great but executed poorly. The original shoulder belt was designed for carrying on one shoulder only, which is odd considering the weight this bag is to carry. But the combination of stealth look, the extreme light weight (for its capacity), and the very reasonable price easily earn this bag a 4 star.

P.S. I've been using Tamrac System 6 and 12 in the past. Tamrac has far better shoulder belt, much easier access to the equipment (despite of the big top/front cover), and far more functional and accessible front and side pockets, even the zippers are better. But the Tamrac bags are simply not deep enough to carry big DSLR with big zoom mounted, which I love to do. I forced them in these bags in the past with a few close calls. Then the other day my 40D mounted with a Tamron 18-270VR (not even a big zoom) finally fell out from the bag with the front buckle still locked, damaged my lens. I have to switch to something deeper. So now I'll see how long the Lowepro will last.

After a few extended trip with this bag, I am happy with it. The zipper is not easy to work with, but I got used to it. With the camera+big lens in ready mode is really a big plus for this bag. It's pretty big, bigger than I originally thought. But not that heavy and not too wide like the System 12. So I can get around in a crowded elevator more easily.

When I was looking for a new camera bag, I had several criteria that had to be met in order for me to even consider that bag.

1. Must fit two DSLR with 70-200mm f2.8 size lens attached

2. Cameras are easy to access

3. Bag must be fairly compact yet hold a lot of gear

4. Bag must have weather protection

Based on these criteria, I decided to go with a messenger type camera bag (shoulder bag). There are a lot of good messenger type bags out there, but I needed one that would hold two DSLR lens with lens attached and this one fit the bill well. My bag currently hold a Nikon D700 with 80-200mm f2.8 attached, Nikon D5000 with Sigma 8-16mm attached, Nikon 24-70mm f2.8, and Nikon SB-600. Everything fits well with some room to spare and the bag closes easily.

As with other messenger type bags, the cameras are easy to access. The bag is easy to open and I have full access to both cameras. I can switch cameras quickly and easily and change my lens with no problem.

The bag has a fairly slim profile for the amount of gear it holds. In addition to my two DSLR, lens and flash I keep in the main compartment, I also carry spare battery, hard drive, filters and cables in the outside pocket. Yes, the bag can get pretty heavy, but that's because it holds a lot of gear. In regards to comfort, if I was going on a long hiking trip I would probably use my backpack camera bag over this, but for going around town or going to events, this bag is fine.

The bag also contains a rain cover attached to the bag. I admit that I have not had to put it to the test yet, but it seems to fit the bags very nicely and deploys easily.

Overall this is a fairly decent camera bag. If you're looking for a good messenger type bag that can hold two DSLR with their lens attached, than this bag isn't a bad choice.

This is great to carry 2 DSLRs, w/200mm zoom attached to one, smaller lens on the other, plus flash and a few accessories. Smaller than the 250AW... if your cameras are equiped with vertical battery grips, or if you want to carry even more gear, you'll want the larger 250AW, but this is a nice slim alternative and will accommodate two fully equipped DSLR w/out vertical grips.

This bag makes my heart happy ^_^ I spent a great deal of time looking at products of this size, and and extremely happy with this one. First off, the quality was far beyond any other products in this price range, and, as cheap as I am, I probably would have had no qualms paying double what I did for it. I am *that* impressed. I also think its fairly stylish and not too overt in announcing to the world "Hey! I'm carting around thousands of dollars!". I found it had enough space, and when I thought I had filled it sufficiently, I was able to fit a few more key pieces of equipment inside. And then some more. The problem when you reach that point, however, is that it becomes quite burdensome to carry around. Yes, it comes with some form of waist strap that supposedly takes the weight off the one shoulder and redistributes it but I didn't find this to be particularly true. All it does is glue it to your hip so when walking, you have to swing twice as hard with that hip to propel yourself forward. Also, along with what everyone else says, I find it irritating that the pad on the shoulder strap is stitched into place. It can be adjusted a little bit by loosening one end and tightening the other, but once its on you, its phenomenally hard to get it to move. In short: I love this bag and think its awesome for carting everything along on long trips, but it is *not* a replacement for a small, walkabout day bag. You will want to make sure you either have a safe place to set it down when you are out and about, or in addition to this, bring something smaller to carry around just one or two lenses so you can leave this beast in your hotel room or something.

Just what I wanted, this case seems to be as good as the pelican for a little cheaper. Nice value. I feel secure in the protection it will give to my camera.
