I was looking for a good half case for my X10 and came across the JB product. The case is terrific perfect fit with a stainless screw (tripod socket) to hold it on. The texture is firm but very grippy and the material is thick enough to provide substantial protection to the bottom and sides. Right where your hand would wear camera finish over time is where the case protects solidly. There is an opening for the card and battery door on the bottom and a little LCD bumper at the base of the LCD. Service and support were excellent from JB and I'd highly recommend both JB Camera Designs and this case. Outstanding product!

I was looking for a half-case for my new Fujifilm X20 and was resistant to the idea of a "plastic" half-case. I even made an inquiry with J.B. designs about the potential of the product being slippery in my hand. I received a prompt response that the texture of the material was designed to assist the grip. Of course I'm never going to handle the camera without a neck or wrist strap. Nobody wants a "wet bar of soap" in their hand when trying to take photos. Thankfully the texture does assist greatly. I don't see the material being a problem.

Now for the best part. The Grip Case feels great in my hand, better than the naked X20, and frankly better than a leather and metal bottomed half case from a well known competitor. I immediately noticed that the weight of the camera was not uncomfortable on the heel of the palm of my right hand. This comfort is due to the fact the bottom right hand side of the case is nicely rounded, unlike my leather case and metal bottomed half-case.

Now I have small hands and your experience could be different. But for me the Grip Case had a better fit on the camera's sides, and the front grip not flex like the leather case did Another plus is that there is a little plastic bump out under the LCD screen that gives the camera a little more stability. I think the company claims this helps protect the LCD should the camera be placed on its back on a flat surface.

I should add that I do use a Thumbs Up brand thumb rest that fits into the flash hot shoe of the X20, as well as a Thumbs Up soft shutter release button. The combination of these add-ons makes the camera a joy to shoot. They work in concert. Not that the naked X20 is difficult to hold or operate.

Minor cons:

Out of the box the half-case smells like a petroleum product. I'm sure it will wear off.

I also wonder how well the brass colored (provided) tripod adapter will work as it does not fit flush with the bottom of the camera. I suppose on a light weight, fixed lens camera this probably won't matter. There is a flat head screw that fits flush if you just want the keep the half-case secured the camera. A shiny penny is thoughtfully included. Perhaps it is also a discount ;)

I was bound and determined that this retro-styled X20 deserved and needed leather. I do love the feel, smell and look of leather, but as a practical matter this just works better in my hand than the much more expensive case I purchased before the J.B. Camera Designs case was put to work.

This is an unusual but incredibly useful half-case for the Fuji X10 that actually exceeded my expectations. I had expected something on the soft side, but in fact this bottom-covering protector is perfectly molded and cured to a hard, durable bottom cover for the X10 that really has no equal. The fit and finish are both superb. Most important, it does the job it's supposed to do, ie protect the bottom surface of the camera as well as, to a certain extent, the LCD. Remarkably, this snug-fitting, good-looking accessory gives you easy access to the battery & SD card. Nice! The grip portion gives the X10 a more substantial feel that the camera alone, and there's a robust, stainless screw for affixing the protector to the camera's tripod socket, keeping the protector in place no matter what. The company even provides a "good luck" penny for turning the screw! I can only hope that the company will be making similar protector products for my larger DSLRs like my 5D, 40D and t3i. I wouldn't hesitate one minute to purchase them if they were available.

These neoprene cases suit their purpose, but are very smelly and the stitching is sub-par. This is especially evident on the strap that connects the plastic hook to the case. On one of the cases, the stitching has already begun to unravel. I would not trust using the hook to hang an expensive lens, because it might break at any time. Also, the large case is humongous, way bigger than I need. The free lens cap holder that's included has a short string, so for long lenses it won't work.

Best Deals for Zensufu 4 Size Padded Neoprene Compact DSLR Camera Lens / Lense

These bags are a great deal! I'm a documentary filmmaker and I never have enough bags for lenses and small equipment, so this set of four bags for such a low price was very appealing to me. Overall, there's nothing particularly special about these bags, they are just nice, basic neoprene lens bags with a cinch-tie closure and a sewn-in plastic carabiner hook. I am surprised that for the price, they seem to be very well-made with double-thick neoprene, a round bottom (to accomodate the shape of a lens,) and a thick nylon strap sewn into the side that holds the carabiner for added durability.

Since I don't currently have a long lens to fit the tallest bag, I am using it for my Rode NT3 mic and one of the medium-sized bags works very well for my Zoom H4N Recorder. The small one works very well for my wide-angle lens and I swap my 8-210 zoom and my 100mm prime in the other medium-size one. I have a nice Kata bag for my equipment, but it feels extra-safe to have everything tucked inside a neoprene sock in addition to the padding in the bag. If you're looking for lens bags and don't want to pay a fortune for them, this set is a really good alternative.

Full Disclosure: I was asked by a Zensufu representative to review this item free of charge. I was asked to give an honest review, good or bad.

I own cameras and lens of the M43 systems. Because it is a mirrorless system, the lens are very small compared to DSLR's. As a result, I only find the first two small lens pouch usable. First of all, you must understand that these pouches are used to protect the lens from scratches and bumps. It will in no way protect the lens from a great drop onto concrete, though I would say it will minimize the damage. Comparing to the pouch that came with my Panasonic Leica 25mm lens, this is a step up in protection. The neoprene material is just thick enough to provide enough padding for the lens but thin enough to be very flexible. Unlike a similar Chinese brand I bought for $4 off of ebay for just the small size, this one is softer and easier to manage. I don't use the clip, but I can see that it might be useful for people who want to clip it on to a belt or a bag. It might not be a good idea for the two larger pouches though, as I am assuming those are for telephoto zoom lens. Those lens can be quite heavy and I don't know if the clip can hold up over an extended period of time. As for the built quality, the pouches are surprisingly well made for such a low price item. If I need a pouch for my lens, then I would definitely buy these without any hesitation. However, I hope that Zensufu will offer these pouches for separate purchase for people who don't own big lens like me. I would love to buy another small pouch for one of my other lens. If you have a DSLR camera with both short and long lens, then I think this is a wonderful purchase. If you only have short or small lens, then I don't recommend you buy this bundle as the two larger size pouches are unusable because they are HUGE!!!

I really like this camera bag, the only thing I dislike is there is no pocket in the back to hold my camera book. Instead there is a strap (that tucks inside a flap that snaps shut but the sides are open,) to put this bag around your waist. But if it was full I would find it hard to carry around your waist. Also the strap is attached to the bag and I can't remove it. I can't see that I would ever use this.

But other wise very well made, price is kinda high but it seems all camera bags are, but after looking for awhile for one that would hold my camera, 2 lenses and flash, this is the one to do it.

I purchased this bag to replace my smaller Canon bag 100 EG.

The 100 EG was great for my XT and XTi but I needed to have a bag to hold my Canon 40D with a Canon 200mm lens attached.

This bag holds the 40D and the 200mm with the power grip attached with plenty of room left.

I was able to also put in 3 other Canon lenses, a 15mm, 28mm, and an 85mm with the 40D with power grip and 200mm lens attached. I don't keep these lenses in the bag all the time, I just wanted to see what could fit in it.

You customize the bag yourself as best you can for what stuff you need to put in it. I took out all the padded inserts at first, and position them in the bag as needed. Right now I am only using one insert.

Front and side pouches hold extra batteries, remote cable release, and charger. I still have empty space. The material is the same as the 100 EG that I have used for a few years now without problem.

Other reviewers have been nearly consistent here in praising the quality of the Canon 10EG. Many, however, have expressed disappointment with its size saying that it holds far less than Canon's blurb suggest. (2 bodies and up to 8 lenses).

Having worked as a pro for almost forty years, and having amassed a large collection of bags by most of the major makers, I can attest to the first point and possibly provide some context for the second.

This bag WILL hold 2 Rebel-sized bodies and up to eight lenses, but only when arranged for storage, not quick access. This is how:

Put one body over another with their body caps on without lenses attached or battery grips. One of the padded dividers is designed to go between the bodies and protect them. The eight lenses have to be either very small zooms or smaller singlefocal length lenses and they too would have to be stacked one over another with caps on both ends, sans hoods.

I used a similar set-up for years with a Nikon f3 system when I was traveling. It is slow and cumbersome, but doable and for some shoots very usable.

But that said this is NOT what the 10EG is really designed to do best. Its real purpose is to provide excellent protection and quick access for a smaller system. The key to making it ideal for our individual set-up is to think 'out of the box' when putting in the dividers.

My own Rebel T2i system will in the end consist of four lenses. (I presently own three of these) Since I use the Rebel for quick grab-it-when-you-can shooting I placed the body grip and 18-55 zoom attached centered in the bag with the back of the camera rearward so it rest against my hip. My 55-250 lens sits in one upper corner, my 60 2.8 Macro in the other. Both are held in place by a single affixed divider curved around the lens. Smaller dividers create two more protected zones left and right of the camera body. One of these will hold the 10-22 zoom when I get it, the other (possibly) a small flash.

I have posted a pic of the configuration in the picture section.

Some have commented about the waist belt expressing the POV that it is largely useless and a waste of space. I disagree. It is to me beautifully designed to serve two important functions.

1) It keeps the bag firmly fixed against the body under all circumstances. This allows for quicker (and safer) access and return when one needs to grab the camera or change a lens quickly in less than ideal circumstances.

2) It will help prevent the most common type of theft the 'tourist' typically is threatened by especially in some southern European and Central American locations: The quick 'cut the shoulder strap and snatch' maneuver so favored by crafty youth whose lively hood (such as it is) is based on victimizing unsuspecting tourists.

I could not rate this bag more highly. And its price here on Amazon is half or a third of what I would have expected for a bag this well designed a well constucted. Wonderful!

Great gadget bag! For once everything fits... extra batteries, battery chargers, memory chips, small tripod etc. I don't have to leave anything behind, anymore. I even have room to pack an extra small camera and accessories! Bag comes with side pockets, a waist belt and straps on the bottom in case you want to attach more stuff!

I also have a smaller version which I am happy with. This influenced my decision to purchase the bigger version.

I'm sure this was a closeout. The semi-hard case was being sold for less than $2, so I don't have any complaints. The zipper pull connectors were a bit wide, so I had to pinch them in to keep the pulls from coming loose, but the case is great, and it protects the camera well, is small and unobtrusive and seems durable enough.

Very nice compact case for my compact Nikon S6300 camera. It's just big enough to accept the camera and a spare battery, but you need to match up the shallower portion of the camera's back with the position of the battery in the interior net pocket. You could also store an extra SD card, too, if you wished. A caribiner makes attachment to a belt or belt loop easy.

This product seems like a nice product for the purpose and I would love to be able to use it without

a complete struggle everytime I go to use it! I bought this for my Samsung Galaxy S4. The vinyl of the pouch and the surface of the phone might as well be coated with glue. You cannot slide the phone into the pouch and after struggling for 10 minutes to get the phone in, I thought I would have to cut the thing open to get the phone back out. It isn't the size of the phone or the pouch but rather the tackiness of the materials. Not worth the frustration but of course now that it's open, Amazon's return policy won't apply. Well maybe I can find some other use for it or if anyone knows a way to easily use it I will update my review. Disappointed!

I'm in the contruction field and have to take pictures from time to time. I bought a Sony T9 digital because of it's size and it's 6 magapix. It cost alot of money and needed to be protected and the Sony LCS-CSG soft case was the right move. It covers the whole camera and has a soft lining to protect the large viewing screen. The image shown is incorrect (it's stretched). The case is a bit big for the DSC-T9. I figured one can just put the memory stick or spare battery inside with the camera, but the label specifically tells you not to do that. I bought it as a gift to match the camera, but personally I would have purchased an aftermarket case that fits better and can hold a memory stick. The leather looks nice.

A week ago, I ordered a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50/B from Amazon.com. Investing in a $450 camera was no easy decision for me to make, however, and I was kind of disappointed that this camera does not come with a carrying case. (although the $600 James Bond version available on the Sony website does include a carrying case)

The tough thing with buying cameras online, however, is that there is really no guarantee that the case you buy will be a good fit for your camera. The online reviews on Amazon.com didn't help me any, and I had a tough time making a choice. Fortunately, this case happened to be on sale, and it arrived at my mailbox two days later.

After trying this case on my camera, I was left with mixed feelings, due to some cons which I hadn't expected at the time of the purchase. The DSC-T50 camera itself is quite small, small enough that I feel more comfortable holding it with one hand rather than two. The case, however, is a bit wider than I would like it to be, and just makes my camera look big and clunky when it's in the case.

Don't get me wrong; there are good features about this product as well, at least many more than the bad ones. This case itself is a nearly perfect fit for the DSC-T50 (and the DSC-T30, for that matter). Although the exterior of the case is made of leather that is a bit hard for my liking, the interior is well-designed and has not made any marks on my LCD display something especially important to the DSC-T50, which has touchscreen capabilities.

And a seemingly unnecessary feature for most made this case necessary, at least for me. On the back of this case, there are two slits, obviously for attaching the case to a belt. This has made my camera much more available whenever I need it, without the risk of getting it dropped or scratched. I have ordered the LCJ-THA carrying case a case exclusively designed for the DSC-T30 as well, but my love for the LCS-CSG is enough for me to not return it to Amazon.com. As of now, the case is on my belt, and it will probably stay there for a long time.

Overall, a great deal for the money, does all that it promises. Recommended.

To owners of the DSC-T30 or DSC-T50: this case is a great fit for your camera. If you're looking for a case that attaches to your belt, look no further.

This case is obviously NOT made of leather, let alone "soft genuine leather." It is clearly made of some kind of very stiff PVC vinyl. You can tell by lifting and examining the stitched covering that is folded over inside the flap. There is no evidence of any cowhide even though the tag inside says, "Made in China" and "Material: 100% piel bovino." I believe that translates to "skin of cow" but I repeat, this product is widely and FALSELY ADVERTISED as leather. The result is, you're paying as much as thirty dollars for a case that looks and feels like it's made from rare Chinese Vinyl Cows. Could this explain its recent price drop? Incidentally, this case does happen to fit the Sony DSC-T50 quite well, hence my promotion to 2 stars.

Just got the bag today. It's flimsier than my Lowepro bag but works fine as long as you're gentle on the equipment when setting the bag down. It has enough room to store the camera body, kit lens, and the 55mm-250mm lens. The side pockets provide enough space to store the charging unit as well.

Sony LCS-VA60 Multi-Function Backpack for Most Digital Cameras Reviews

I bought this backpack for a weeklong trip to DisneyWorld with my three young children. I wanted something I could safely put my videocamera, digital camera, cell phone, car keys, and wallet in, while keeping my hands free. This backpack performed marvelously, and I hauled it all over DisneyWorld with no problem. It even has two exterior mesh pockets that I used to carry water bottles. I also used this backpack as my airplane carry-on, to hold my electronics and the million or so wires, adaptors, battery chargers, etc. for my electronics. What I like most about this bag is the fact that I can detach the bottom part, which becomes a self-contained camcorder bag, while the top part becomes a regular backpack. It will be handy for occasions that require a camcorder only. The two things I don't like about this backpack:

1) The name "Sony" is prominently printed on it. It's like wearing a sign that says, "Steal me, expensive electronics are in this bag!".

2) I wore it in 85 degree heat for several hours at a time, and when I took it off, the back of my shirt was drenched in sweat, which was annoying. I've seen other bags at the store that have contoured pads on the back, which allows for air circulation. Now that's a great idea!

Regardless, I haven't seen any other bags that offer such versatility (I'm referring to the detachable camcorder bag), plus I really liked the digital camera clip-on carrying case and the CD carrying case that were included with the overall backpack. I had planned on buying a digital camera case, and to have it included with this bag made it that much better a deal for me. Given a choice, I would definitely buy this bag again!

I use the bag to carry my 12x-zoom Sony DSC-H1 with wide angle converter, filters, and spare batteries along with a Sony mini-DV camcorder, blank tapes, lens cloth, a windbreaker and an umbrella. The cameras are held securely in the well-paddeld zippered lower compartment. The wide angle converter is in the top compartment with the windbreaker, spare batteries, lens cloth, and spare tapes. There is room for a teleconverter which I plan to add. An external mesh pouch holds a pair of filters. It's a lovely bag.

The reason I purchased this bag is because it is the ONLY bag that Sony lists on their website as being compatible with the camera I just bought (two actually), the DCR VX-2100. Let me first say that if you have a very compact camcorder and a bunch of accessories, this would probably make a great bag, and so I should also say that my grievances are really with Sony's abdominal and misleading sales of this product. As I said, this is the only bag that Sony lists on their website as being compatible with their DCR VX-2100 camcorder. Just to make sure of this I discussed it with a pre-sales representative to make sure it was an adequate bag for the two cameras, given that they are $3,000 each I wanted to make sure a had a really good bag to protect my expensive investments, and I was assured that they were. When the bags arrived I realized that the backpack is made of two compartments, a removable, well padded, camcorder case in the lower compartment, and an expandable, unpadded, accessory compartment in the top. The VX-2100 is a 16-inch long camera, and the compartment designed to hold a camcorder is only 11 inches. Being a bit shocked by this I contacted Sony via their online chats to ask them how I was supposed to fit a 16-inch camera into an 11-inch bag. The first person I spoke with, whom was a post purchase representative from Sony style.com, quickly redirected me to speak with someone from Sony Chat Support. At first they told me to go back to Sony style.com but after I told them that I had just been sent from there, they listened a little while longer. They told me to put the camera in the expanded accessory compartment. I said that since it was the accessory compartment and did not have much padding, and that the camcorder didn't fit snuggly into it and so shook around lose in the case, that that was an unacceptable solution. Their reply to my disappointment of having just bought $6000 of camcorder equipment and not having anything to safely store or transport it in was "I can understand your concern. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused. Please contact our customer information service center for information on this." My advice to anyone considering this bag, or any other Sony product, is to look for products from other brands. I have completely lost my faith in the Sony name and products. They were misleading on their website as were their pre-sales representatives. And then, I was passed from one representative to the next when I confonted them about this. Does the VX-2100 fit into the LCS-VA60 bag? Yes. Does it do so in the capacity in which the bag was designed? Does it hold and protect the camcorder, as a camcorder bag should do? NO. The fact of the matter is they are selling this product under false pretenses. Could I fit my camcorder into a plastic grocery bag, yes, but would that be a good bag to keep it in, of course not. Sony, which is a corporation that is supposed to be at the leading edge of this field, is selling a product at a very sub-par standard, which I finding not only extremely disappointing, but unethical. And if I were to ever by something from them again, which I highly doubt, I would always be wondering if a product really functioned in the full capacity to which they lead me to believe it would through their sales marketing.

It is super cute and feels so soft! It is the perfect size except for space for any batteries to be stored. It wouldn't require very much more space to accomodate batteries and I really don't understand why they would leave that out. Batteries aren't supposed to be stored inside the camera but with such a small clutch, you have no other option. Convenient to take on the go...but not for storage!!!

The case is very stylish, but the camera fits so snug that it's hard to close it. I would have been nice if there was some give to the material or a small piece of elastic so that it would be easier to get the camera in and out.

I did 3 weeks researching camera backpacks before purchasing this particular backpack. If they had 1/2 star selections I would of given this backpack 4 1/2 stars due to the cumbersome access into the top of the pack believe me there are worse packs for a lot more money out there, that are harder to get into, so I didn't let this small issue bother me (and I'm glad I didn't)!

This backpack is absolutely the best backpack for the money out there, hands down! My neighbor bought a much more expensive pack, which didn't hold as much equipment nor was it built as well, and his eyes got the size of silver dollars when I brought mine along on a photo shoot just after receiving my pack.

This pack has all the feature of the more expensive backpacks, even a rain hood, and carries well. I am handicapped (in a wheelchair but can walk very short distances on crutches) and this pack does NOT strain my back or legs when wearing it.

This pack holds both my Canon EOS 650 w/250mm lens attached and my Canon T3i w/250mm lens attached plus a Macro lens, a 150mm Canon lens and all my accessories plus cleaning equipment and a laptop computer. There are so many compartments you may forget where you put your stuff the first couple of days!

Nice back pack. Holds everything including my large laptop. Gets heavy but then that is what you get when you want to carry all your electronics in one bag. Nice soft interior pockets for camera. Not a big fan of the logo...kind of cheap looking.

After searching for the perfect camera bag for literally weeks, I decided on this bag because it would hold my 17" laptop, but wasn't too long (I'm only 5'5") and had a lot of pockets and dividers for hauling around my pro gear when traveling. When I got it, it looked okay, definitely not super high quality, but you get what you pay for so I wasn't too alarmed. Until I left on my first trip with this bag and in the airport, in the middle of an international trip, the strap ripped. So for the rest of my travel, I am carrying around this bag which is only partially functional with thousands of dollars worth of gear, and am now having to spend more money just to find a bag that's straps actually stay on. Definitely would not recommend.
