I've had this bag for about a year and a half, and it's remarkable. As others have said, the movable/removable velcro dividers provide enormous flexibility, and there are plenty of pockets and strong zippers. The walls and the velcro dividers are well-padded and they secure the contents well to prevent most movement and vibration. There's a little pocket in the bottom front that contains a nylon shroud that can be pulled out to help secure the bag from dust and moisture.

It's a good size: large enough to hold the essentials but not so big that I load it with my entire household (and then have to lug all that extra weight). In the main compartment, mine holds a Canon 20D body, a 17-85mm zoom, a 50mm prime lens, a 70-200 f2.8 zoom (BIG), Speedlite 580 flash, plus polarizing filter, battery charger, spare AAA batteries, and a USB cable. There are other compartments that hold another battery charger and extra rechargeable battery for the camera (the speedlite and the camera use different rechargeable batteries), extra flash memory card, various booklets, maps, and guides, airline tickets, and various other odds and ends.

There are loops on the back of the bag so that it could be attached to a backpack, though they don't look like they'd support much weight for very long.

When I'm travelling, I can sling this bag across one shoulder, a notebook PC case across the other, and still carry a modest suitcase. With all my stuff in it it's barely 12x8x10 inches. Strong, comfortable shoulder strap, comfortable handle, rubber footpads that keep the bag pretty much off the surface, and expansion pockets all over the place.

Seconding what another person said about the color: the green is more subdued and attractive than the photo suggests.

Everything about it just exudes quality. I'd buy it again in an instant.

I've had this bag for almost two years and it's been excellent. The only problem I've had with it is that it doesn't magically expand and get lighter as my camera equipment increases. It's definitely not a small bag, but it also isn't so huge that you're embarrassed to carry it on your shoulder in public.

I have crammed probably too much into this thing: A Nikon D200, Tokina 12-24 DX lens, Nikon 18-70mm DX lens, Nikon 50mm 1.8D lens, Nikon 75-300mm zoom, SB-600 flash, memory, camera and AA batteries, cleaner, filters, remote, flashlights, and various small flat things that fit in the flap. Even with all of this, I've done photo shoots with this bag strapped across an opposite shoulder comfortably for hours at a time.

Positives:

1. The main compartment has plenty of room for a good-sized collection of photo equipment, and the front zippered pouch has a lot of room for batteries, tools, cleaner, etc. There are also lots of places all over the bag for extra things, like a zippered back pocket for gloves or docs, belt loops for an add-on belt, elastic side mesh panels on both sides, zippered front pouch that's great for a remote or filters while you're shooting, a thick zippered see-through panel inside the top-flap of the bag. Lots of room!

2. Excellent quality build material that resists scratches and abrasions, and zippers that are pretty satisfyingly heavy-duty where they need to be.

3. Very configurable main compartment with lots of movable velcro'd partitions.

4. Shoulder strap is light and has a good heavy-duty feel, is comfortably padded, and is curved to fit your shoulder, and it stays put. It also has metal clamps that connect to the metal rings on the bag. I've never had this strap come off the bag, ever.

5. Has a cool hidden water-proof cover that you can pull out and cover your bag within a few seconds if the weather turns wet.

6. Large rubber feet on the bottom so your bag material doesn't wear out, and a large rubber-covered handle for a good grip on the bag.

I should note that the green and blue bag colors look much better in person. The colors are much more subdued and normal in regular non-flash light.

I don't really have anything negative to say about this bag. It's awesome. If you're looking for a good camera bag with plenty of room, this is a great choice!

Best Deals for Lowepro Nova 4 AW Camera Bag -Black

First, the bag arrived in super fast time. I expected to wait at least a week but it got here within days!

The bag easily holds my Nikon D-50 and 4 lenses with an open slot for one more. Many zippered flaps and pouches for those flash cards, extra battery and filters. The bag is very secure in that it has a flap that covers the top (and helps with keeping out moisture) plus two zippers that secure it as well.

The internal dividers are secured with velcro and can be moved to accomodate larger items, even a second digital camera body (would eliminate the space for one of the lenses).

I am well pleased with the bag and it is very well padded and has a shoulder strap that is contoured so it will be less likely to slip from one's shoulder if carrying it by that method. There is also a solidly built handle that provides an alternate method of carrying.

All in all it is a good deal especially at less that $44.00 with free shipping when I purchased it.

Great construction, well designed. Provides quick, easy access to lenses, flash, and accessories.

I didn't take the time to actually pull a measuring tape to figure the actual size, and was expecting something a tad larger. However it still manages to keep the following intact:

1 Canon Digital Rebel Xti with 28-135mm IS lens (mounted)

1 Canon 17-55mm kit lens

1 Canon 50mm f 1.8 Lens

1 Canon 75-300mm lens

1 Canon 70-200 f4L Lens

1 Canon 580 EX Flash

1 Sto-Fen Diffuser

and that's just in the main compartment.

In the pockets, I've got spare batter, CF cards, at least 2 dozen AA batteries, remote, assorted stationery....the list goes on and on.

And there's still a little more space.

I stumbled upon the weatherproof cover by mistake while marvelling at how many pockets it had. (The product description does not properly describe this part) It's located at the front bottom of the bag inside a zipper, and is a weatherproof cover with an elastic rim that can be slipped over the bag for protection.

I'd recommend this bag to anyone!

Review of Timbuk2 Snoop Camera Insert

Timbuk2 Snoop Camera Insert
Customer Ratings: 5 stars
Buy Now
I use my Snoop X-small camera insert primarily to transport my 5D Mark II, Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L, and Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II for landscape photos. I can get all three in the Snoop, along my remote shutter. Because the lenses are fairly large pro lenses, I cannot transport them with a lens attached to the 5D Mark II. That said, it is a perfect size if you want to transport two mid-sized pro-level lenses and a semi-pro level camera. I have also transported the 5D Mark II attached to the 70-200 f/2.8L II and 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L, with their respective hoods, and the camera and one lens will fill the Snoop XS (it is tight, but it fits).

The Snoop XS fits into my standard sized messenger bag, along with my Gitzo GT1542T tripod (with the legs flipped up) and Markins Q3T head, with the head removed. I can also fit all of this in my North Face and Jansport backpacks.

The quality is top notch. The padding is good. The lid is not padded, but it fine. It has two interior padded dividers, which enables me to transport my camera and two mid-sized pro lenses. The zipper is medium duty. The strap on the top back of the Snoop is very useful.

All-in-all, a well designed, high-quality bag. Very highly recommended!

I'm a female professional photographer who has been on a long search for the right DSLR bag. I find that most of the camera bags out there are black and masculine and they are bulky. If I want to carry both my camera and a secondary lens, flash, etc then I have to take a full camera bag out and about, which is not fun or fashionable if I'm doing anything else besides shooting. The few female sized bags I find to be expensive and not of great quality, nor the style I tend to lean to. I'm a little bit bohemian and small framed, so I wanted to carry a bag that fit my personality and my body. With this insert, I can turn any bag into my DSLR bag. Right now, it's in a large turquoise Big Buddha Bag no one can see my precious camera and lens kit. My Nikon and zoom lens/flash/accessories fit very comfortable into the XS insert. Plenty of room. Awesome way to turn any bag into a photography carrying case.

The only thing I would change, a memory card holder sewn into the lid and an outside separate zippered pocket would have been great for cords/cards/etc so they are not swimming in the insert bag.

First of all I need to brag on Amazon. I ordered this item Monday and received it Tuesday! That is amazing.

Now the Timbuk2 Snoop Insert in Small... it's fantastic. I purchased this insert to go with my Timbuk2 Commute 2.0 Small bag. The insert fits with perfection, like the two were designed together. The insert is marketed for the TB2 Classic Messenger but is just right in the Commute 2.0. I use my Commute 2.0 bag when I travel for business (I travel very often) but never wanted to place my Canon G12 or other fragile items in the main compartment since it has almost no padding. With the Snoop Insert I have solved the problem completely. The Snoop Insert is padded on every surface, especially the bottom which is where I needed it the most. The interior is super plush and wonderfully soft on my camera and other toys. The Insert top zips closed, another incredible feature that keeps my stuff inside the bag when sliding it under my seat on a flight. No more chargers or USB cables trying to escape! You can also leave the top unzipped and fold back between the Insert and the bag interior, it folds away completely as if it were never there. This is great when you are wearing the bag and need to access items packed inside, no fumbling with zippers. Same with the handle on the insert... there when you needed, out of your way when you do not. The Small sized Insert has four removable and adjustable dividers. I am about to travel again and the insert currently holds the following with ease: Canon G12, Black Rapid RS5 camera strap, travel sized power strip, Think Tank Photo Cable Mgt 10 bag with all of my cables, chargers and accessories, full size Bose headphones, reporter writing tablet, hand towel, micro-fiber cloth, Jawbone Jambox, Griffin lucite iPad stand and a small LED flashlight. I could fit a few more small items if I needed to, there is more room. Before I packed I tried out a different combination that included a Canon 7D, two lenses and a 580EXII flash. No problem, easy fit and everything protected. I ordered the Small Insert because the dimensions were closest to my Small Commute 2.0. I was worried that the size small Insert would not hold a lot... I am happy to report that I have plenty of room. Now, for the purpose of contrast... if your travels require a full-on photography kit this is not your combination. For a small photo kit or a business traveler that wants to bring some high quality, basic photo items this insert in your TB2 bag is golden. If you are not familiar with Timbuk2 you have no idea what you are missing. TB2 bags are extremely well built, customizeable very thoughtfully designed with pockets everywhere.

My purchase of the Timbuk2 Snoop Inserrt in Small was a great one, nice when that happens.

Honest reviews on Timbuk2 Snoop Camera Insert

a great option if you want to be able to carry your camera around safely without carrying around a conspicuous conventional camera bag.

I got this for my Timbuk2 Command (2011 version). Even though description says this is designed for the Classic Messenger, Timbuk2 reps told me it's intended to work with most of the Timbuk2 messenger bags. For the medium-size Command, the small fits perfectly and snugly.

The shipping was very fast I chose standard shipping and I live in the Los Angeles area. The bag is made with high quality material. The price is definitely worth this purchase. The colors are great. The bag is sturdy outside and flexible on the inside I am able to fit my canon rebel t3i with a lens and an extra 300mm lens. I absolutely love this purchase you can also change the compartments to fit whatever you'd like to place in the bag. Its also very handy when it comes to traveling you can slip it in a backpack or a messenger bag and not make it obvious that you're carrying such an expensive camera. Love it!! I recommend it for anyone who wants to protect their camera in a stylish and inexpensive way.

The Clik Elite Reporter bag is a wonderful bag for short trips to the mountains hiking. I was able to pack my camera and two lenses along with 1 flash. Everything I need for outdoor hikes it can hold with ease. The bag itself grips your body like a glove. No movement, and I was able to turn the bag to the front of my body by utilizing the neck strap, and use the bag to stabilize my arms for great shots. The bag is totally worth owning.

I'd been looking for a replacement camera bag to work events like New York Comic Con for a while. The camera backpack I had was good, but it was horribly inconvenient to take the camera in and out of it. I was a little bit nervous about the Clik Elite Reporter when I first saw it, because I thought it looked a little too small. I bought one anyway and found out that it was, in fact, too small for what I was carrying, but this forced me to pare down to essentials and carry only what I really needed. Its first use was a trial by fire at the 2012 New York Comic Con: I carried the pack all day two days straight, fully loaded, without getting sore shoulders. I never missed a shot because it took too long to unpack the camera, and I never missed any of the garbage I left at home. I was packing a Nikon D5100 with a prime, plus a zoom and a flash, but there's room enough in there for a full-sized camera body. There are also tons of little nice features, like the little attachment points on the shoulder strap and the belt where you can hook on extra pouches for your gear, and that "Y" harness at the top of the bag makes a nifty carry handle when you just need to sling the bag around somewhere. Fit and finish of the bag is terrific. It's built strong with quality nylon zippers and adjustment buckles that are easy to adjust and stay in place solid as a rock.

If there is a downside to this bag, it's that there really is no room for anything much bigger than a slim paperback book in the bag, so you're going to need a spare carry bag if you are expecting to get anything when you're on-site. Or you'll need a friend to be your mule. Small price to pay for a great workhorse bag that I expect to become an old-reliable for multiple generations of my stuff.

Best Deals for Clik Elite Reporter Camera Sling

Clik products are well made and pretty well thought out. This one is good for casual/ onthe-move use. It does not accommodate a pro-body with battery drive attached/ or permanent pro-body grip/drive. I returned it and kept trying products till I found the right one. I would recommend this for quality and utility if you confirm the size for your use.

Honest reviews on Clik Elite Reporter Camera Sling

Bought this product in June and used it for a 4 day trip around July 4th. As far as size goes, it is a very good size for somebody trying to carry a m43 kit around the waist on a hike. It comes with a rain fly, so that helps. Liked how the bag performed over the trip and how well it distributed the weight. The quality of fabric and other components also seemed fine. So far so good.

While taking it out earlier this week for an upcoming trip, I realized that the seam on one side of the bag is already beginning to separate. Nothing has ripped apart yet, but it will only go downhill from here. I have never had that happen to my Think Tank or Kata bags carrying much heavier loads on much longer trips. This is with one 4-day usage carrying the lightweight m43 cameras and lenses, nothing like a large DSLR or a pro 24-70 lens.

This is the only Clik product I have owned and it is not likely there will be more coming my way. I will stick to my tried and trusted Think Tanks.

I can't say enough about how much I am enjoying my Clik Elite CE715 Reporter. I've owned a large number of bags over the years (LowePro, Kata, Canon, Tamrac) and this was my first Clik Elite. I can say it is by far now my favorite for hiking, walking, and basic travel in general. I can fit my SLR, 2 lenses, flash, battery grip and my CF cards without issue. It fits my body extremely well with next to no movement while walking. The combo belt and shoulder allows me to easily swivel it for quick access, and as a top loader I can quickly pull my camera out for a shot and have back in and secure in no time. The rain cover works well, and the snaps and straps are secure and well placed. I used the bag heavily loaded for hours with no discomfort. I'd easily recommend this bag to a friend.

I bought this case to protect my husbands camera that he is using in Iraq. He has a Casio EXLIM and the case did fit it really well, but If your looking at the "APE" embelished case in the picture and thinking thats what you'll get, You're wrong. I received A black leather fold-over velcro-close case that is open in the bottom corners. It didn't even have the "APE" logo. I was disappointed as the case in the picture was what I was looking for, but I kept it and sent it on to my husband anyway. I suppose it will still serve its purpose. If you really want the product in the picture, buy from a different supplier on Amazon, or try . Thats where I originally found it.

My Lumix GH1 with the 14-140mm lens and a wist strap fit perfectly into the Lamborghini LM-2104 case. Elegant, light, compact and comfortable, the case has spaces for memory cards, an extra battery and a filter. The case is well made, with durable material and of good price despite the brand name. It's a perfect carrying around case. Because if its compactness, I also carry it together with my small camera bag whenever I need the space of my bag for extra lens, in particular the Panasonic 100-300mm. I highly recommend the Lamborghini LM-2104 case for small digital cameras. Check the dimensions of the case against the size of your camera though.

Got this for my portable Elecraft KX3 ham rig. In the past I'd use Pelican cases. But they are a bit heavy. In fact, unless I'm going to drive a truck over the box, there are lighter, waterproof cases that work as well. But if I don't need "waterproof" and just want to keep it protected, this Jelly Roll is almost a perfect fit.

I don't have a dedicated camera bag for my digital SLR, so I was looking for good way to carry my telephoto lens in my MOLLE backpack. This case fills that role very well. The padding inside the case is more than adequate to protect expensive optics. There's even an included velcro flap that can be used inside the case to subdivide the case, for instance, if you wanted to stack two shorter lenses, the divider would keep the ends from rubbing together. A quality, well thought out product.

Nice little camera case my DMC-ZS3 fits in nice and snug without it being too tight a fit, even after including an extra memory card and a thumb drive into the interior mesh pocket. It is definitely designed to make sure it fits this family of cameras (unlike some other cases on Amazon that come up in a search, that have been slammed repeatedly for being ill-fitting). You do have to put the camera in a certain way for best fit, but it's not a big deal. I love the hard exterior and it makes me feel more secure carrying the camera around. I also love how compact it is. The one drawback, and it's a major one unfortunately, is that they only included a carabiner clip--there is no way to put it on your belt. That may not be a problem for a girl/woman who can clip this to their purse, but for men it's a huge design flaw in my opinion. I'm to the point where I'm considering rigging the case with a belt clip (somehow).

I have been looking for the perfect bag for my new camera. I needed one that would hold all my extra lenses, batteries and charger, manual, memory cards, cables, and had KODAK on the label. THIS IS IT! It's VERY nicely padded inside, which is important when traveling. Amazon's price can't be beat.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

The main compartment is roomy enough for my Kodak Z740. There is a zippered mesh pocket on the inside upper lid and (4) elastic enclosures on the back wall (perfect for individual batteries).

There is one large zippered front pocket and two smaller pockets on the sides. They all contain additional areas of storage (for memory cards, battery packs, small tripod, etc.). There is a shoulder strap and a carrying handle.

The value of this item is much greater than the small purchase price!

Best Deals for Kodak Bag for Digital Camera (Medium)

This case is recomended for my z7590 but it is way to big, there is enough room in it for three digital cameras and accessories. I knew from experience that Kodak's small bags were to small so I thought this would be perfect but the camera is lost in there. I really don't have much else to carry, just the camera, charger and an extra battery so I am returning mine. I wanted a Kodak bag but they just don't make one the right size. If you dont mind lugging around a huge mostly empty bag or you have a lot of extra stuff, this bag is a good value and seems to be of high quality.

Honest reviews on Kodak Bag for Digital Camera (Medium)

This is not a small bag, but I use it for travel because it holds my DX7440 camera with extra battery, lenses, and charger with ease. It also keeps everything protected inside with padding. It's light and comes with a shoulder strap. No complaints.

In all honesty, this Kodak Digital Camera Bag is UNDERPRICED...meaning you're getting way more than you bargained for. Firstly, there are clever compartments for smaller accessories, like batteries, memory cards, cables, small lenses, etc. However, the ingenuity of this piece is not its medium size, but rather the design's intelligent use of space. There are 3 side pouches (2 side & 1 large front), with smaller zipper compartments inside. Let me cut this review short...this product is worth your time, investment, and most importantly your camera.

I purchased this daypack to carry my Canon 5D Digital SLR, flash or a spare lens, and a few filters while I'm hiking around National Parks etc.. This daypack exceeded my expectations for functionality, style and comfort. The bottom portion offers great protection for my camera gear, with reinforced padding that can be removed and moved to accommodate my gear. Unfortunately I couldn't fit my 70-200mm lens here, but it did fit in the top portion of the backpack. The top part was great for those extras like purse, car keys, sunglasses etc. There are a good selection of little pockets inside to separate your flashcards, batteries, lens cloth, or whatever. On one hike it rained on me, but everything in the backpack stayed completely dry! I didn't have to use the waterproof cover that came with it. From a comfort level, it was awesome! I can wear it all day and not notice it at all. Padding in all the right places, and good separation from my back to allow airflow. The only fault I found is that the first time I used it, the fabric toggles that are attached to the zippers came off, and the design won't allow me to put them back on. The zippers are a good size though, so I haven't missed them.

this backpack is pretty sweet, the reason i returned it is because i already had a backpack when i got this one. i like the way its made to stand upright and has adjustable walls inside the camera part so its convenient and easy to adjust to whatever camera or preference you might have. plus the upper part where you can store personal items is a good size for wallet, keys, phone, extra batteries, flash drives, charger, usb cables, etc. lots of pockets for the organized photographer

Best Deals for Tenba Mixx Photo Daypack

The pack was excellent except for Zipper Pulls. They are not secured very well with their plastic clips and fall off quickly. This was also noted by other reviewers and I expected this when I bought it. "Fix it, Tenba!"

Overall I am pleased as I can fit my Nikon with standard lens, my 300 zoom and my flash into the pack with lots of room for accessory items up top.

Honest reviews on Tenba Mixx Photo Daypack

My interest in this bag was piqued whenever I saw it as a daily deal. I purchased it for about half the normal price on Amazon (daily deals are your friend!).

The pack itself is just rightnot too big, not too small, and well-padded. It easily fits my T3i and all the accessories I currently have for it. It seems quite durable, even though I have only had it for a couple of weeks. It also has plenty of extra storage space up top for odds and ends. What's more, it looks like just a regular backpack, rather than obviously being a camera bag. I don't know if that will make it less of a theft risk, but it couldn't hurt.

My only concern is that the dividers in the main compartment are a little confusing to set up for a first-time camera backpack owner.

Pros:

Looks very nice

Doesn't scream "EXPENSIVE CAMERA!"

Seems to be of good quality

Good padding

Cons:

Dividers are a little confusing, but they work well once you figure them out

A bit pricey at full price for me
