I was so excited to see this case being available, as it has such a great retro look. I didn't realize the seller was shipping from China, but it arrived in plenty of time. The case was a little tight because I have a uv filter on my lens, so there was some difficulty snapping. The only other problem is that you have to take off the entire case every time you need to remove the battery or the card. However, I still love it. It looks good, and the price was great.

Fits the Samsung NX1000 20-50mm lens ONLY (which is the lens the camera comes standard with).

I bought this as a gift for my friend; we have the same camera, her's is white and mine is black.

She loved it, and so did I. I will be purchasing the black one soon.

It is not real leather, but regardless, it is very nice. The inside is lined with some sort of velvety felt like material.

The case fits perfectly. It comes in two pieces, as shown in the photo. To operate the camera, you only have to take the top half off by simply unsnapping the snaps. It comes with a matching strap, so you don't have to use the one that came with the camera originally.

The only con I can see to the design of this case would be removing the memory card, attaching the USB cable, and removing the battery. It's not difficult by any means, but there is no cut out or anything to get to that part of the camera (not that I think there should be, I love the design).

My favorite feature of this case, is the fact that the bottom half is secured through the hole you would attach a tripod to, you simply screw the case in place. AND if you decide to keep the bottom half of the case on while using your camera, you can still attach a tripod!

I purchased this case with foam to protect Nikon equipment used for wedding, location portraiture and sports photography. The Pelican cases are outstanding and are as good as equipment cases get. The waterproof neoprene O-ring gasket, pressure equalization valve and latch design set Pelican cases apart. The 1510's max-allowable carry-on size is a huge selling point if you have even a 1% chance of travel with expensive equipment you want to keep it in your immediate proximity, not in some disgruntled and underpaid baggage handler's tender care. It's a bit on the heavy side if you're used to a soft-sided camera bag, but you would expect that from such a durable case.

The down side of this purchase for me was the "pluckable" foam (which you should cut and never pluck). The foam is a great concept and gives better protection (if cut with thick foam sections between items) than the alternative 1515 Padded Divider set Pelican sells. However, it's VERY unforgiving once cut it's cut. (Tips on cutting foam are below). I recommend you SERIOUSLY consider purchase of an empty 1510 case (no foam) and additionally purchasing the 1515 Padded Divider set instead of the 1510 with pluckable block foam. This will give you much more flexibility and simplicity (unless you never plan on adding new equipment) while still protecting your equipment. For this reason I will eventually (probably very soon) trash the very expensive foam and will buy the 1515 divider set.

If you decide to stick with the foam, hey, it's your money, but here are some tips which will make you less dangerously postal after realizing your mistake:

0) The case comes with 4 foam layers, two thin ones for bottom and the lid, and two thicker ones with the grid of semi-pre-cut pluckable foam. I will be referring to "marking the foam" below. This is done in the thick layers with toothpicks. Gently work a toothpick in to the corner of where the little 1/2 inch foam blocks come together. I'll use the term "hole" for the space you cut out for your equipment. Notice I said cut not pluck. Use a serrated steak knife to gently saw through the semi-pre-cut pluckable blocks for the neatest appearance. Let's make this look professional, OK?

1) Take all the foam out and look at the bottom of the case. See those intruding wheel wells and the intruding handle well? (Pelican had to intrude those into the case's interior to make it fit the airline's luggage size requirements). You don't want your $2000 camera setting on that wheel well as it vibrates while rolling over asphalt or grouted tile. Use the thin bottom foam pad to mark these areas off on the thick pad and only put in shallow holes (no cutting into the bottom thick foam layer) for items such as a flash or 50mm lens in these areas. You don't want tall items like a camera body here! I cut out areas so the bottom layer of foam sits better on the wheel wells optional, but now the top layer of foam doesn't ride up on these corners.

2) Plan on leaving at least 2 to 3 foam blocks (1" to 1.5") of space between all your equipment. Thin foam will be VERY flimsy and will tear when your equipment is being inserted into the holes.

3) Make sure you clearly mark both thick layers with toothpicks, masking tape or something similar so you always know which side is the top. This is way more important than it sounds.

4) Get all your equipment out and arrange it on one of the thick layers, and start marking the foam while arranging your equipment. Remember you may be buying more equipment, so keep your holes grouped fairly close and leave unused space as contiguous as possible. For this step you're looking at everything from above and thinking in 2 dimensions width and depth. Just marking, no sawing yet...

5) Now for the 3rd dimension of height measure to see if the equipment is taller than a single layer of thick foam. These holes will have to be extended through both layers.

6) OK, it's time to get your steak knife and get ready to start sawing. Try to saw out the holes in complete blocks and set them aside to store them. This will greatly aid in fixing problems later on. Tell little Johnny to get away from them give him some bubble-wrap instead. Don't drink alcohol until you're finished. You'll probably need some when you are finished though I suggest The Glenlevit & water on the rocks, but without the water...

7) Think you're done? Wrong. Now work your equipment all the way into the holes and get the cut-out blocks you set aside earlier. Put the cut-outs on top of the equipment so they are level and mark how deep they go down into the hole with a toothpick. Measure from the bottom to the toothpick with a ruler to determine how deep it inserted into the equipment-filled hole. Now transfer that measurement to the TOP of the block instead of the bottom. For instance, if the bottom of the block inserts .75" into the hole, mark off .75" from the TOP of the block. Now saw through that plane with your serrated knife, perpendicular to the semi-pre-cut cuts. Try to be as neat and even as possible. Still looks bad when you're done, right? Since you follow directions well and measured this from the top and not the bottom, the ugly side will not be visible when impressionable clients look into our custom camera case when the equipment is removed. Remove the equipment from the hole, take the top piece you cut with the ugly side down and insert it into the bottom of the hole, then reinsert the equipment, and Hey Look! It's flush with the top!

8) How many mistakes did you make? OK, now move all your equipment a safe distance away, like the next room. Go get some Elmer's glue and put tiny super-thin lines of glue on your mistake blocks, glue them back in very carefully inserting them from the bottom so we don't get any glue on the outside visible parts of the foam. Set the two patched thick foam layers on their tops so the glue you still managed to smear on the bottom doesn't stick to anything (a wet washcloth will help with cleaning up excess glue). Now wait until tomorrow for it to dry so you can go back to step 4. It is now safe to grace a few ice cubes with the gentle caress of some Glenlevit while you wait for tomorrow's adventure in foam cutting.

FINIS) Well, painful though it was, I promise it was less painful than if you would have wouldn't have followed my awesome instructions. Now that it's a couple of hours (or days) later and you're nerves are completely frazzled and that bottle of The Glenlevit is a number of inches lower than before you started, don't you wish you would have listened to my advice about purchasing an empty 1510 and the 1515 Padded Dividers?

For my business I often must travel on short notice so I have a "go kit" packed for 3 day stays designed for carryon travel, and now its all in this case. Let me explain some things not shown in the picture.

First, on the back is the famous roller wheels and pull-out handle for getting through the airports. They are made of black plastic typical pelican tough stuff and don't show here.

Second, this case is sized for the maximum allowable carry-on size, which means no hassles at the airport.

Third, it comes with 2 layers of the famous pick and pluck foam insert. This does the job, but its not a custom fit for everything out there and looks funny. You can also buy closed cell foam sheets and trace out your product's outline, then I like to use an electric carving knife like you'd use on the thanksgiving turkey to cut clean lines and curves. That's a personal matter if I'm traveling, I have smaller pieces of foam for sensitive stuff and often put clothes and such in the rest of the case, taking out the pelican foam.

Fourth, Pelican re-designed their tough as nails snaps. While they kept things closed tight, often getting them open after temperature and pressure changes could be a challenge. The new snap is a 2 step design with a closure step, followed by a locking step. This gives the same strength as before but without busting thumbs to get the snaps open.

Finally, the whole box is tough as nails. Just a note here, it is a heavy piece of carry on but most airlines don't weigh that yet. All the hinges are designed for the rigors of being kicked, dropped, water landings, etc and with proper packing your inside contents are ready to go.

I have one other Pelican travel case that I've owned for over a decade it's their Maximum checked luggage box it's been on alot of airplanes and now has the TSA low security lock so they can peek inside (they usually do and leave me a note on top of my dirty laundry since anything of value goes with me carryon). That box also has wheels and has become much more than a box over the year. It has served as a chair, a luggage cart to carry other bags on top of its wheels, and over 10 years of air and ship travel it has some scuff marks but everything still works. It's why I insist on pelican products and why I was happy to hear they made a max carryon size. My personal view on their divider system sold separately for this case is that it's suboptimal for most applications and a tad overpriced but I'm sure it does exactly what some people need by making lots of padded compartments inside once placed.

I have tried other soft cases and semi rigid suitcase style cases for my cameras, but this is the one. I am able to get just the right amount of stuff in this case. The pluckable foam insert is a well thought out product, but make sure you get your gear layout right before you start plucking. The fact that this case is carry on size is crucial. I would love to get just a little more gear inside, but, without bending the fabric of space and time, I must say it holds as much as I could possibly ask for the size of the case. I was able to get a Canon 5D body (with battery grip), a Canon 20D body, a 24-70 "L" series lens and lens hood, a 10-22 lens for the 20D, a 70-300 (NOT an "L" series) for the 20D, an 18-55 starter lens for the 20D, card reader and cord, extra battery, 10 memory cards, polarizing filter, two canon 550 flashes, extra AA batteries for the flashes, "feet" for the flashes, the radio controller for the flashes, extra 9V battery for the controller, battery charger, AA battery insert for the battery grip, camera straps, lens brush, small multitool, and finally, extra lens caps. While there are a few other small things I would like to fit in there, that is all the breakable stuff plus some, and that is what this case if for. When I get different lenses, I will order new pluckable foam, and I like that I can do that. The pluckable foam is the way to go. Stuff is held without any movement. If a luggage handler drops this case, nothing will shift at all on the inside. That is what I call protection. If you get creative with the two layers of foam, you could probably do a two layer set up of one shallow item on top of another shallow item, but I am afraid I would forget about the item stored in the lower layer. It is a no nonsense rolling (!) case that does one thing exceptionally well protect expensive camera gear! It does that without fuss. The design of the hinges on the lid are a huge plus! They open to set amounts so that the lid holds itself open just past vertical. That way it is out the way, but doesn't slam into the floor when you open it. It is then easier to grab and close. It is a very small but brilliant thing that I now would hate not to have. The wheels roll beautifully, the pull handle extends just the right amount of distance. Don't expect a fancy handle it slides out and locks, slides in and locks. It isn't fancy, but that's the idea. Judging by the design, they planned the pull handle to be a replaceable piece in case it gets trashed. How that could happen, I have no idea, because it is simple and seemingly indestructible, but I like that they thought it through so well. This is the kind of organization and protection I have been looking for. Buy this thing, and never look back. I would also recommend two of the TSA approved Pelican locks.

My Pelican 1510 is my third or fourth Pelican case. I used Zero Halliburton cases for years, (I got my first in the early 1970's) but they became very full of themselves so I started looking elsewhere. I tried a huge Lowepro AW for my F5 system but it was too much to cart around for me.

The 1510 holds my Nikon D200 with MB200 Battery Pack, 3 lenses, SB800 Speedlight, ML3 Remote, Hoodman Loupe, Filters, Extra AAA Batteries, Camera Manuals and more. When I buy new equipment I order new foam. Before I cut the foam I make templates (I actually keep the old ones and just make ones for the new product) and lay them out before I cut. It's a great system.

Most importantly my gear has been protected under some pretty tough conditions. The Pelican has been carried on horse back, on my a.t.v., and on occasion it has ridden in the bed of my truck. My camera system has stayed secure and undamaged from my home area in the Arizona Sonoran Desert to trips that have included over 10,000 miles on the Alaskan Highway, Glacier Nat'l Park, and Yellowstone. It is water proof, dust proof, and bulldog proof.

This is the best case for the money that I have found. I would give it 10 stars if that rating was available.

I have had many camera bags in my life. This one beats them all! I shoot wildlife and nature landscapes so I am on trails a lot. This pack is comfortable to wear and hike with, but you do not have to stop, and pull off a regular backpack to get to your camera or accessories. It holds my camera two lenses, all my filters, lens hoods, memory cards, and even cleaning stuff. It had plenty of movable pads to protect my camera and lens investment well. Very satisfied, and would recommend it to any serious photographer.

As an introduction, I have a Pentax K10D with the kit lens, a Sigma 50-150 telephoto and a Sigma 10-20 wide angle. I wanted a bag that would fit close top my body and hold all three items.

This is my third attempt to purchase a bag. At first glance I though this bag would be to big. However, for these items it's just the right size.

The Good:

The material and construction are good. The front pocket is big enough to actuall hold some accesories. The much maligned clip actually works fine for me. It pops open with one hand and goes back together easily because there is a guide track that centers the insert. The size and shape are really nice for carry. It lays close to the body, is not too stiff but still has some protection.

The Bad:

The dividers are held in place with velcro. There are two strips that run horizontally across the long end of the inside of the bag. these strips catch on the sharp edges of the lenses as you remove them from the bag. If you store your hoods backwards on the lens, the hoods catch coming out every time. If you attach the hood to the lens in the forward position, it catches going into the bag. This is especially bad with the lens on the camera. It doesn't just drop into the bag. You have to fiddle with it everytime you put the camera back (which kind of defeats the purpose of this kind of bag.)

The flap is attractive and gives the bag a stealth look. But, it's pretty big and hard to move out of the way to get the camera out for a quick snap. If you fold it over against your body, then the equipment is visible and not protected from the top.

I've decided to keep the bag but I need to come up with a way to cover the edges of the velcro. Duct tape would probably work but the glue would make sticky mess. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I wanted a great camera bag for street photography to carry a Nikon D7000, plus an 18-200mm VR lens, a 50mm lens and some odds and ends. To be clear: I wasn't looking for a travel bag or a way to haul gear to a shoot. I wanted a messenger-style camera bag for street photography.

If you want a bag for walking and shooting, this is the bag. It's the best I could find, regardless of price. Yes, Crumpler and Timbuk2 make much better camera bags, but they look like camera bags, cost much more, and are less functional for my needs.

So, here's the good and the bad about this bag, the Tamrac Rally 6:

Pros: Size! Padding! Cost!

The size is frigging perfect. Absolutely perfect. If you need to carry around an iPad or netbook, you'll want the Rally 5. Otherwise, this is the bag to get.

The padding is excellent. It's padded on all sides, plus it has extra dividers and a padded shoulder-strap attachment.

It costs less than $60.

So here's the bad: The bag is to basic when it comes to storage. It has a pocket in the front, but that pocket is kind of lame. Also, the clip that holds the main flap closed is terrible. Really terrible. How Tamrac could have screwed up the design of a CLIP is beyond my comprehension. It's a frigging plastic clip kids. Get it right. This clip has an ignorant diagonal/pointy design that is EASY to screw up while closing. It's so bad that I'll probably look into replacing it (if possible).

That being said, I'm still giving this bag 5 stars. Why? It's only $60. It looks like a messenger bag. It's really well padded. It's easy to walk around town with, pulling your camera out when you need it and putting it away when you don't. The new Snoop bag by Timbuk2, for example has two clips. If you're walking around town taking photos, do you really want to be constantly dealing with two clips just to reach your camera? No. One clip makes for a proper walking around camera bag.

I originally bought the smaller Rally 4 bag. It was a little too small for my needs, so, I started looking at other bags again. I upped the price I was willing to pay all the way to $200 and I still couldn't find a better photo-walking camera bag than this. If you want a messenger-style bag for street photography, I don't think you can do better. Even with the god awful clip on this bag, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Best Deals for Tamrac 3446 Rally 6 Camera Bag (Black)

With my recent purchase of my first DSLR camera, I needed a case or bag but didn't really know what to look for. I initially started looking at bags from Canon, then Lowepro, CaseLogic, and finally Tamrac. I found out that no one bag is perfect for all people and uses. I will probably end up with at least two bags for two distinct functions. I chose the Tamrac Rally 6 to be my all-purpose, day bag.

I chose the Tamrac Rally 6 for its discrete appearance and because it was a messenger-style bag. I liked that it fit what I wanted to carry with me on trips to the park with my kids and other brief events. Here is what I was able to fit into the bag:

I probably would have been able to fit a small flash and a 50mm prime lens as well but those are on my Wishlist and I don't own them yet. The Velcro dividers are easy to configure and the interior of the bag provides a good amount of impact protection. The sides also have flaps to cover the edges to keep light rain and dust at bay. Unfortunately, when I put in all my gear, I discovered that the Rally 6 became imbalanced and when I set the bag down, more often than not, it would tilt forward and lay down on the front of the bag.

The Tamrac Rally 6 is slightly larger than but very similar to the Tamrac Express 7 with a different flap and altered side pockets. The Rally 6 is a newer bag and it appears that the complaints about the clip on the Express 7 were not addressed for the Rally 6. The clip isn't always very easy to lock and even worse, it is extremely easy to unlock. Other than the clip, there's only a small patch of velcro that keeps that flap closed. Without a secure clip, I am afraid that my equipment will fall out or get swiped without me even knowing it.

If not for the clip issues, I would have considered the Rally 6 a decent bag, but I cannot recommend the bag with the existing clip design.

I ordered 2 bags for my Canon 5D Mark III on Amazon and they were either too bulky (Canon bag) or won't fit (a sling backpack). The Mark III is huge/heavy and the lens I have are huge/heavy, so I needed a bag that is big, yet small enough for my frame. I went to many stores in search of the perfect bag, and I found this one at Best Buy for a great price. It is the right size (like a regular messenger bag), it's lightweight and doesn't feel awkward or stiff across your body.

It has a pocket in the back (no zipper) where you can slide in manuals or an iPad. The 2 side pockets can hold your smartphone, mini water bottle, etc. There is a zippered pocket underneath the flap that has 2 divided (no zipper) deep pockets.

I docked down a star because the bottom doesn't seem like it has enough padding to plopped on the floor. With a regular bulky DSLR camera bag, it has so much padding that you can plopped it on a cement ground without thinking much. With this bag, you'll have to carefully put down your bag unless you add more padding. I'm going to put those bubble bags that Amazon usually ships with. It also doesn't have many zippered pockets.

The plastic lock is fine. Easy to un-clip. If you don't want to use the clip, there's a piece of velcro that sticks the top flap together.

This bag is a perfect fit for my Canon Powershot S5 IS. If you have anything larger it probably will not fit in this case. The case has some padding along the inside which would help if you dropped it, but I wouldn't trust it to save your camera from a fall from more than just a few feet. There is a small compartment on the inside of the top flap which is perfect for holding and protecting memory cards. The outside compartment is kind of small, I can barely fit about 8 AA batteries and my camera's USB cable in there, so if you have a lot of accessories look for a larger bag. Overall, if you don't have a lot of equipment this bag is great, especially for the price.

After searching everywhere for the smallest Belt bag for my Panasonic FZ28, I found this to be the closest to my Lowepro Cirrus TLZ5 that I could get. While it is larger than I originally wanted, it now seems perfect. It is small enough to carry the FZ28 on my belt with a spare battery, filters and needed accessories without getting caught on my arms or trees, brush or branches while hiking, and it is large enough to fit everything I might need when travelling, including the charger, lense hood (reversed), miscellaneous cables, cords, card reader,etc. The front section is large enough to carry the charger w/battery and a second spare. The main compartment holds the camera for easy access via the reverse opening lid. It has dual zippers, which I've grown accustomed to. I've carried it over 800 miles now and it's as good as new and the decent padding has protected the camera well. It is water repellant, but not waterproof. It also has a reasonably long shoulder strap, which isn't that common today, but it could use a shoulder pad for use with no shirt collar. The grey interior works pretty well for a substitute gray card for custom white balance out in the woods. When I finally destroy it, I'll just get another.

You can't be wearing the bag with the proper adjustment of the strap, otherwise it is very difficult to "sling" the bag to your front.

I had to loosen the strap until it's almost at my butt to be able to "sling" comfortably.

The clip design is so-so. Wish they had designed the openings of the bags better. It's also awkward to access anything other than from the top.

In the end, I returned it and went back to my old shoulder bag.

I bought this bag in a lightning deal and for the price it was a good investment. I've been using it for about a month and it is very convenient to take with me to job sites or where ever. The camera compartment is plenty large for my DSLR and I have no problems with the bag sitting too low or anything.

That being said I do have a couple issues with the bag that I didn't notice from the pictures. First is that the bag sits over my right shoulder which feels awkward since every other sling style bag I've used has sat on my left side. The other thing that I do not like is there isn't a quick release on the strap so puttin the bag on or taking it off is a little more difficult than it should be.

Overall I would recomend this bag but had I known those two issues that I stated above, I probably would have gone with a different bag.

LEATHER?

Whether this case is fake leather, I cannot say. I can say that it _feels_ leather-like, and that's good enough for me. Even the strap feels like leather. Either way, I don't care. The strap feels sturdy that's what matters to me.

EVER-READY, NOT NEVER-READY

What makes this case good for me is that you can quickly unsnap the cover on the two sides, leaving it hanging by the third snap under the part attached to the camera. This means that I can whip out the camera and activate it in short time. I've tried a Case Logic MSEC-2 EVA Molded Compact Camera Case (Black), and it makes getting out the camera much slower. One drawback is that when the cover is hanging, the snap tabs easily enter the shot. This is easily remedied by rotating the cover rearward on the third snap, or removing it entirely off the snap. (I then keep the cover in my back pocket.)

TRIPOD 'COMPATIBLE'

The screw that attaches the bottom part of the case to the camera is itself threaded for a tripod screw. The fit is precise. Yes, the screw means you have to remove the camera from the case in order to access the SD card. But I have an 8GB card, so I upload my pics only every 2 weeks or so.

NO POCKET

Another drawback of case is the lack of a storage pocket. If I want to take an extra battery with me, I have to put it in my pants pocket.

WEAR YOUR CAMERA

I like this case because I can keep the camera around my neck, keeping my hands free for managing my pre-school aged son! The Case Logic hardcase also has a neck strap, but it attaches to a case by a plastic lanyard clip. I suppose that the chance of failure is slim, but I just don't like it. The fixtures on this case are metal.

This case will protect your camera from bumps, but not heavy rain. The camera is exposed a bit on the upper sides. Be ready to stow your camera+case in your jacket in harsh weather.

I think that this case is actually handsome. And given that it keeps my camera 'functional' (quickly accessible, supported while shooting), I rate this case better than 3 stars. Let's make it 4. (5 minus 1 for lack of storage pocket.)

I always wondered why we only find kind of pocket cases for the new digital cameras, instead of the old fashioned leather carrying cases, that you can open and use the camera without taking it out of the case. This leather (I don't mind they are not real leather) case looks and works like the old vintage camera cases, and have advantages over the slip on or pocket cases in fashion today. Besides protecting the camera, while letting it ready for use, this case has the advantage of allowing us to keep the camera hanging down from our neck, where it is easier to use, than to have it inside a pocket, either hanging from our belt or from one shoulder. I like this case, and I am very satisfyied with it.

The case is handsome, slightly loose fitting but with good hardware. That said, it's not leather. It's fake leather with a very good false grain and color. The strap is just plastic, like a lanyard. It's inexpensive, so if you don't insist on actual leather, you may like it. I was expecting leather, so I can't rate it highly. I returned it.

You can tell this product was not made by Canon. At least, i don't think so. Canon cases i have purchased in the past fit their cameras like a glove, this one has some extra slack here and there. The price however is much cheaper than a licensed Canon case. Canon also does not offer a case that has a neck strap, although you can buy neck straps separately. One major issue i have with the case is that it blocks one of the tiny holes for the microphone on the front of the camera(i have the s95). I figure this reduces the sound quality of video you record since it's being blocked. Keep in mind you have to unscrew it from the case each time you want to upload photos to your computer because the case blocks the opening for the usb. its just little things that urk me about the case, but nothing too bad. Overall for the $20 i paid, i'm happy. I may buy another simpler case(a case logic) if i don't feel like toting the neck strap around in my purse.

This is a beautifully made camera case. Unfortunately they didn't think it through when they designed it. First of all, a case of this quality should come with a strap of matching quality. No strap included. Second, there is no way to use the camera without taking the top off. The top is just BEGGING to get lost. They could have made the top so that it would swivel and hang below the camera while using it. My first Pentax Spotmatic had such a case. Loved it. Not this. Back it goes.

Based on reviews, I decided to go with this inexpensive bag for my Canon PowerShot SX260. It works, but ends up bulky.

The bag flap secures with velcro, it comes with a strap (can be used for shoulder or belt), so it's a good bag, but I don't find it quite adequate for my needs. Basically, it fits the camera, and a memory stick, but that's it. I can shove a battery in there instead of a memory stick, but it bulges, and then of course I can't fit the memory stick in. Also, the little pocket the holds the extra piece (memory stick or whatever) ends up right on the spot where the camera lens is, and where the velcro is, making it extra bulky.

So it's not a bad case, it just doesn't work perfectly for what I need it for.

Bought this based on other reviews for new Canon SX260 (which is a great pocket camera). The pack is just the right size, had a plastic insert to protect the scene on the back of the camera. Comes with a shoulder strap and fits well on a belt. On the belt it's easy to open and take out the camera and then put it back. Good choice at a very reasonable price. Only drawback is while it has a sleeve for an extra memory card, it looks like the card could easily slip out.

For me it's a nice size. It protects my pocket camera well. Velcro type closure works well and keeps it securely closed. Not intended to hold many extras fits camera and an extra Digital card I also had a cleaning cloth I can tuck in to clean the lens if need. I have taken it on many trips, hiking, and traveling through crowed cities. Never have I had a single problem.

The belt strap is pretty wide and surely will fit on any belt. The only problem I have with it isI wish it had a snap on the belt loop strap. As it is made I must take off my belt every time I would like to remove the case. I had an older model that had snap and I much prefer that much easier to get on and off.

I purchased this daypack to carry my Canon 5D Digital SLR, flash or a spare lens, and a few filters while I'm hiking around National Parks etc.. This daypack exceeded my expectations for functionality, style and comfort. The bottom portion offers great protection for my camera gear, with reinforced padding that can be removed and moved to accommodate my gear. Unfortunately I couldn't fit my 70-200mm lens here, but it did fit in the top portion of the backpack. The top part was great for those extras like purse, car keys, sunglasses etc. There are a good selection of little pockets inside to separate your flashcards, batteries, lens cloth, or whatever. On one hike it rained on me, but everything in the backpack stayed completely dry! I didn't have to use the waterproof cover that came with it. From a comfort level, it was awesome! I can wear it all day and not notice it at all. Padding in all the right places, and good separation from my back to allow airflow. The only fault I found is that the first time I used it, the fabric toggles that are attached to the zippers came off, and the design won't allow me to put them back on. The zippers are a good size though, so I haven't missed them.

this backpack is pretty sweet, the reason i returned it is because i already had a backpack when i got this one. i like the way its made to stand upright and has adjustable walls inside the camera part so its convenient and easy to adjust to whatever camera or preference you might have. plus the upper part where you can store personal items is a good size for wallet,keys, phone, extra batteries, flash drives, charger, usb cables, etc. lots of pockets for the organized photographer

The pack was excellent except for Zipper Pulls. They are not secured very well with their plastic clips and fall off quickly. This was also noted by other reviewers and I expected this when I bought it. "Fix it, Tenba!"

Overall I am pleased as I can fit my Nikon with standard lens, my 300 zoom and my flash into the pack with lots of room for accessory items up top.

My interest in this bag was piqued whenever I saw it as a daily deal. I purchased it for about half the normal price on Amazon (daily deals are your friend!).

The pack itself is just rightnot too big, not too small, and well-padded. It easily fits my T3i and all the accessories I currently have for it. It seems quite durable, even though I have only had it for a couple of weeks. It also has plenty of extra storage space up top for odds and ends. What's more, it looks like just a regular backpack, rather than obviously being a camera bag. I don't know if that will make it less of a theft risk, but it couldn't hurt.

My only concern is that the dividers in the main compartment are a little confusing to set up for a first-time camera backpack owner.
