This small hard case is fantastic. It protects the camera, has room in a small mesh area for the extra battery and camera card. The hook that allows you to clip the case onto a handbag or belt loop is a great idea. I used this while traveling and it was great. And the price is very good.

LOVE this casemy Nikon D3000 fits GREAT in it even with a larger lensI did measure and camera included it's 17 cm. I had one similar to this but lost it a few months backworks great to throw in the diaper bag!! This one is neat that it is reversible BUT that also means the neoprene is going to get velcro stuck to it in places it shouldn't so...it's not gonna stay looking this nice forever...BUT the functionality is for sure there!! WOuld highly recommend!!!

Good quality construction. The medium size fits the kit lens (18-55mm) of the Canon T2i perfectly. Tried it with the 55-250mm lens. The camera will fit, but you really have to stretch it. Great alternative for when you don't want to bring your whole camera bag along.

My Nikon D3100 with 55-200mm lens fits inside perfectly with no pre-stretching. Could probably fit up to a 300mm lens with some stretching.

Don't see where others could claim this to be waterproof, as it's just neoprene. I wanted something that I could use for minor protection on the fly when I had everything ready to go, knew I'd only want use of one lens, and didn't want to drag around my big bag.

After careful comparison of many cases, I bought this remarkably-rugged, well-designed case (includes 2 inside pockets for cables, memory cards, etc plus 2 outside zippered pockets for spare batteries, more cables, etc). It's ample interior is well-cushioned & is very-softly lined to protect your camera. My mid-sized Nikon L820 120X zoom camera (30X optical/ 4X digital) with 1080p video* fits perfectly in this handsome, strong, lightweight case that amazon sells for under $10 (about 1/3rd what very similar "name-brand" cases cost)! If you want to know if your camera will fit, you need the interior dimensions, which are approximately 5.5" wide x 2.5" deep x 5.0" tall.The case is soft and can flex somewhat, so may fit a camera that is slightly larger in some areas. If your camera fits, this is an OK bag for the price. Padding is minimal, but that also makes the bag smaller and lighter weight. There are a couple of small pockets on the side for batteries or memory cards or cables, but you can't put anything too big in there or it will eat into your interior space. The bag has a belt loop on the back if you want to wrap it around your belt. There is also a removable shoulder strap. This isn't a great cameras bag, but you can't expect too much for this price.

ITEM IS MADE IN CHINA

I seen some people review this case as being to small for a cannon sx 50. It is a real tight fit I never owned a high dollar-ed camera so I wasn't sure how it was supposed to fit. The pic on amazon show the camera facing down and it barely fit, I guess this is okay so there isn't to much rattling around. The pic also show one small pocket inside the rear on the case and two other interior side pockets. The two interior pockets are not there for this model, the rear pocket is and it only can hold the instruction manual and that's it no mas. It does have two outer pocket one pocket holds the battery charger and the other side can hold a extra battery. The side that holds the battery charger probably cannot hold anything else real tight fit. The other side holding the extra battery can hold something else about the size of the battery. There is webbing in that pocket that I put my extra memory card but its really not built for that, Its ok to store the card there but I would make sure you had a case for that card. If you want a small compact case this is it, oh there is some padding on the case but it seems kind of thin on the bottom of the case. Would of gave it a 4 if the the pic for the interior of the case was correct.

It's a nice little case and Amazon recommended it for my FujiFilm Finepix HS50EXR but when it arrived it was far too small for this camera.

This camera has a fairly large, almost SLR sized body so it needs a larger case. Kudos to Amazon though as they refunded me without having to return it.

I bought the grey one. It is a dark grey, not the light grey pictured ( looks better than the picture). They use a ripstop nylon material that seems durable.Good padding. The bag is perfect for a "bridge" camera like a Panasonic Lumix LX7 or Canon Powershot G1X, plus a small flash or electronic viewfinder.The side pocket can hold a charger, and batteries. The only minor issue I have, is the price. It is a little expensive for what you get. It is made in the USA, which makes it seem more worth it. I would rate it a 5 for the bag, 4 for the price. But I would definitely buy another.

Big enough to accommodate my FZ-200 with or without the lens hood. Zipper pocket will hold spare batteries and remote shutter control. Inside top cover will hold lens cloth and spare sd cards. Yet the case is not bulky. I also like the quick release buckle for easy access to the camera in a hurry.

Take a close look at the dimensions of this case before you buy it. It's not big, but it is well padded and holds my Panasonic DMC-FZ150K 12.1 MP Digital Camera with CMOS Sensor and 24x Optical Zoom (Black) perfectly, including its bayonet shield (reversed on the lens, of course), two extra batteries, two extra memory cards (inside the netting under the lid), both the USB and HDMI cords, and the battery charger (the latter cord and charger in the front pocket). Now that is using absolutely every square inch of the interior as well as the front pocket, but if you want to have everything with you, in the smallest possible package, this may well be the right case for you.

It is worth noting that one of the big appeals for me was the color of this case. Our insurance agent has cautioned us many times that when we buy cases for expensive electronics, we should, if at all possible, avoid black. She said that somewhere around 1/3 of expensive electronics (especially computers) that are stolen every year are stolen at airports. And as she pointed out, telling security or the police, "It's in a black case" is as close to useless information as possible. Also, more brightly colored cases are much less likely to be accidentally left behind, especially on cars, planes, trains/subways, etc., simply because they're easier to see, even in poor light.

I tried to find a small(er) bag for my 550UZ at local camera stores and just couldn't find one that's both large enough to comfortably and securely hold the camera but small enough to wear on my belt if I want to. The previous review complains that this bag is too small when it's custom made for these specific cameras. It's well padded and holds my 550UZ like a glove. I put 4 extra AA batteries in the back pocket (I could easily put 4 more in there if I needed to) and there's plenty of room in the zippered lid and interior for extra cards, etc. This is the perfect bag for UZ cameras! If you want a bag that will hold a second camera, wallet, water bottle, and more, you know larger bags can be bought just about anywhere :)

just like one of the post says.....it fits the camera just right. if your looking to put filters and all sorts of other accessories i don't reccomend. if your an ameture like me this bag will do. you can fit four AA batteries which is nice. has great padding just incase you drop the bag with your camera. can't complain too much when it cost $20. i hope this is helpful. camera that i'm currently using with this bag is an Oly SP 570UZ

I too had tried other cases. They were either too small or too big. This one is obvioulsy made specifically for the digital zooms. It will work nicely for me when I am backpacking. It will fit nicely on my pack belt and be readily accessible.

I needed a camera bag that would hold and protect my precious Canon Rebel while I went backpacking though Mammoth Mtn., Ca for a week. I needed a case that would allow me to carry my camera by my side to allow me to quickly get out my camera to snap a few shots and stick it back in. I decided on this bag for a few reasons: I know Samsonite makes quality bags so I knew it wouldn't fall apart anytime in my lifetime, and therefore survive a backpacking trip, plus I really liked the possibility of switching it up from carrying it on my shoulder to carrying it around my hip. Yes, I rocked it as a fanny pack....and it was awesome! I'm bringing it back in style lol The fanny pack option made it super easy to hike with my pack on and carry my camera separately. The little pads where the straps connect make it super comfortable to sit on my hip even when I carried it on my shoulder. Oh and it totally protected my camera from water twice! Once when I slipped off a rock and plunged into the stream (I lack in the balance department) and another time when my friend decided it would be funny to dump a bottle of water on my head. My camera came out dry as a whistle both times, thank God! Not to mention it must have saved my camera from countless bumps and slams into rocks as we made our way slipping through the rocky terrain. So, all in all, this has been a great camera bag for accident prone adventures and was super convenient and comfortable wearing for long periods of time.

There is something about classic camera bags made in the old tradition and from the land of Shakespeare. While my Thinktank shoulder bags and Thinktank rollers are great for travel, the Billingham bags are terrific to just have around the studio for storing my Leicas and gear that I now do not use often. Yeah, museum quality pieces.

Is it rugged enough for travel? Most definitely, but as with other pretty things. I don't want to see it dirty.

This case is too big for the S series cameras. The whole point of a thin camera is not to take up much space and in this case not only is the camera loose, but also takes up more space than it needs to be.
