some features that i didn't expect: it's nice and easy to insert my mp3 player (coby brand). there's a opening at the top and bottom for your ear phone jack. it comes with a lanyard. i wear it while exercising, so the neoprene dries quickly (from the sweat). i like the tag/loop in the back. it's where i tuck in my excess ear-bud wire.

The primary reason I don't really like this case is how tight it fits everything. I can't figure out what this would fit. It's super tight on digital cameras and all I can say is to check the size of your item and remember this is a neoprene case. It's not as big as the description says because it has to wrap around the item you're putting in it. That's what makes it smaller than it seems.

I bought two, one for my gameboy micro and another for whatever. Fits the gameboy micro PERFECTLY. Turns out it fits my Kodak V603 perfectly as well. This thing is awesome, I'm ordering more right after I finish this review.

Honest reviews on Case Logic UNP-2 Universal Neoprene Pocket - Medium (BLACK)

The only reason I got one of these tonight is because I'm waiting for the new iskins to come out(I don't trust those 5 gen ones to fit after all the click wheel complaints they've had),and just need something to get me by for now. I saw these in the isle with the other case logic stuff for cd players, etc, seperate from the mp3 section.I lucked out by passing by that section again before I left, after looking at the mp3 section and seeing nothing special, and it's a good thing that I did because the first time I hadn't looked at any color of these neoprene cases but black--that one was $10 and the rest were marked down to $2! Pretty sweet,so I got the silver medium one(they only had mediums)and a "catch-all" pouch to hold the pod in the car while it's hooked up to the stereo's aux input with the money I saved. I think it must be meant for a smaller version(I have the 160 gig),because it's snug as all hell, and seems like it is on the brink of tearing when I put it on,but it's better than having a bare player exposed to stuff. It's very basic and has a large slit at the top for 'phones and one tiny hole at the bottom for 'phones on older models(?)The case covers everything when it's on,so that's good for protection, but you can only see half the screen when you flip up the top part of the case and can't see what you're doing well. The click wheel doesn't work through it,obviously, but you can still click the buttons fine;no access to the hold button though.Sucks that you have to take the whole ipod out each time you wanna change a playlist or what-have-you,so I'll have to figure everything out before I plop it in there, but for a few bucks it's small beans considering it's a short-term fix.It comes with a lanyard clip and belt loop which is convenient.

Basic protection from scratches and short falls I guess.

I bought this sleeve to protect my Canon Elph while backpacking. The neoprene provides good shock protection, but its still slim enough to slip into my pocket. The zippered side pocket is perfect for keeping an extra memory card or two. The only thing missing is a belt loop, but you can easily add a carabiner to the carrying strap loop.

Very good product for the price. Looks nice.. quality is good. It does tend to get dirty fast since it's cloth. But still worth the buy!

I bought this for my Canon Elph. It said it fit Canon SD series (which my camera is) but it is a bit big. I wanted a case that fit snug-so it would not take up much room in my purse. I guess I should have checked the measurements. I like the color though. The quality looks fine. oh well.

Bought this as it was recomended for the Kodak Mini Camera I was buying......I assumed it was "slim" as the camera is....not so! It is too much case for my tiny Kodak Mini camera. I do not recomend for this use...fits a larger compact style camera!

I LOVE CASIO!!! I bought my first digital camera about 7 or 8 years ago. And back then I wasn't into "surfing the net". But the stores only had either $25 brand name camera cases for all the cameras, or you bought a bulky, polyster, generic one. That's when my daughter sat me down & showed me how to shop on-line. I found a leather Casio Exilim case that fit a little snug enough to be slim & not take up a lot of room, but still enough to protect my camera. AND when you opened the flap, it had 2 separate "slots" to securely hold 2 extra memory cards. Well, my daughter was so jealous and at the time was going off to college, so I bought her a Casio Exilim camera with a case just like mine. They fit perfectly...maybe even "snug" :) but not TOO tight...I'm sorry but I want my camera to fit securely. Now, a 2nd long story short...daughter lost her camera, took mine, bought me new one for Christmas! That's why I'm here on Amazon right now...to pick out an EXILIM case. That guy who said what can you expect from a case if you pay only $3.95?...DUH....has he heard of the word "SALE"?? Even today it's $3.95 but that's NOT the price crossed off & marked down. My daughter actually gave me my new present early...the 23rd when I went to bed, so I could read the instructions in the car (yes, she drove...I'm disabled) on the drive to spend Christmas Eve with the WHOLE family and by Christmas Day I was an old pro at it!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!!!!

I needed a cheap but sturdy case for my fiance's camera I bought her for Christmas. The camera was the big purchase, so the case was just something extra to protect it. This product does just that. It protects the camera, is pretty cheap while not looking very cheap in the process. If you want something high quality, look elsewhere. You will get a very basic case with this, and if that's what you want, go for it. It does the job.

I was and still am very happy with this camera case. It is a very pretty soft pink. I love the magnetic closure so I never accidentally leave it open. I added my own pink rhinestone wrist band and now it is even more feminine. I keep it in my purse at all times because it is small enough to do this with my pink Casio camera.

Served its purpose. I am glad I got it. Good protection for the camera and you can spot the pink color quickly, even in a handbag loaded with stuff. Good Buy!

I purchased this case for my new Casio EX-S5 camera this summer and I love it. It matches the color of the camera (pink) and is just the right size. I carry it in my purse all the time and my camera is protected and it takes up less room then my wallet which is small clutch style. The case is a nice leather, made well and looks very nice. The price was right too. Very girly looking.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have the blue pouch. I think it is nice for limited audience; if you have a compact camera, and want compact case with no strap, and don't require masculine color scheme then this is the pouch for you.

On the plus side if you have a device that fits in this pouch then it is sleek enough to probably still fit in your pocket without too much extra bulk with respect to pouch thickness, pouch strap, etc.

I have put my family's Fujifilm XP Shock digital camera in this pouch and it fits fine. The corners of the pouch have started to discolor a bit after one month. A bit pricey at $15, better value below $10.

Always good to have various pouches to protect your valuables. This fits the bill in some situations, 3 stars.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program OK little camera pouch. We use it to hold our Canon Powershot and it fits just fine. The case is not that padded and has no real rigidity so it won't likely protect it from a serious drop. Definitely will keep scratches off the exterior of the camera and may help with those little slips. The opening is a double zipper. I prefer a flip opening that makes it quicker and easier to get the camera out in a hurry. There is no strap on the case so we let the strap that is on the camera hang out. It would be nice if there was a way to easily and neatly tether the camera strap to the case and camera to keep them together so they won't get lost. Unfortunately, there really isn't a good way to do it with this case. It is nice that the case is stain proof but, I wouldn't consider it anymore water or even splash proof then any other case. It is a decent case that is small, lightweight, and fashionable, with emphasis on the "fashionable". I think that is really the most compelling reason to purchase this case. As far as function, there are better options.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program My kids have gotten the Geocaching "Bug", so we got a Flip MinoHD Camcorder 2nd Generation to record some of our adventures, (& boy are there some!) as you NEVER know where the coordinates are going to take you, through streams under waterfalls etc!! This was just the ticket, it fit perfectly albeit a bit snug, It's compact easy to get it out of in a flash & it says it is water resistant! The description says it's neoprene offers water and stain resistance while providing the padding, I really liked that it had the wrist strap, that way we don't have to dig through our backpack for it! Our Flips Dimensions are: 2 x 0.7 x 3.9 inches in case you wanted to compare with your camera/camcorder. It met our needs perfectly! The boys like it because it doesn't look "girly" & we girls like it because it is pretty! IMO :)

I really wanted something to protect my iPod touch while it was in my purse. Just something I could slip it in and out of. I had looked at the cheap versions of the socks, but I was worried they might not be big enough from reading the reviews. Plus I do carry a big purse with lots of stuff floating around. Most of the cases you find for iPod are either back covers or leather flip cases. I really wanted a simple pouch, so I turned to the camera cases. I went through many of the camera cases and some of the dimensions fell just short, except this one. My touch fits snuggly inside, even with the back cover I have on it. I can also keep my headphones in the case too. Since I didn't pay attention to anything in the product details other than the dimensions, I was very happy to find that it has a "stiff front panel". Not only good for a camera's protection, but also perfect for protecting the touch's screen. I loved the color choices and went with the blue. I probably would have gone with a purple if they offered it in a brighter shade.

I do also have a CoolPix camera (S202) and since this is a review for a camera case (technically) I thought I would let you know that it also fits quite well. Perfect for simply carrying it around in your bag, on your hip, or in hand. If you put the camera in upside down with the LCD screen to the front, then you really don't need the wrist strap that the case comes with. But the camera's wrist strap does tuck nicely inside too.

While writing my review, I looked back at some others and saw a few complaints about shipping. I placed my order on 2/21 & was guaranteed to have it by 3/2. It arrived on 2/28, not bad with a holiday & weekend.

I had to buy a new case when I got a Coolpix S3000 since the camera was so small and light that it was swimming in my old camera case. I wanted something that didn't add any bulk and this definitely did the job. Even though it is a soft, fabric case, there is a lot of padding on one side so you get ample screen protection.

The case also has both a carabiner and an arm strap. Both are detachable so I removed the arm strap since the camera itself has one and I found it to be redundant.

Please check your camera model before buying this case. There is a negative review on here and that person obviously had a model that wasn't listed in the item description. The case fits like a glove on my camera so I could see how it would easily be too small for anything else.

I bought this for my Cool Pix 3100, which fits perfectly into this adorable little camera case. The Cool Pix is a very small camera, but this case gives it the protection it needs and deserves.

This little case looks so cute. I was at a Union meeting, and our color is purple. I was carrying my camera case, with the camera inside of it, and people commented on my cute little purse/wallet. They were surprised to learn it was a camera case.

It fits into the smallest of my evening bags, yet is easy to find in a large bag or tote.

A must have if you own a Cool Pix 3100. I love it!

All the products in this kit were just what I wanted, except for the camera bag. In all fairness, the bag has lots of good pockets and seemed convenient, with its adjustable separators. When I actually used the bag, however, I found the plastic buckles were too hard for me to open, especially outdoors in cooler weather. I am 74 and my grip is not nearly as strong as it used to be a younger person would likely not find this to be a problem. While the shoulder strap is attached to the side, the shorter handles are attached to the 'lid' so the buckles have to be closed in order to carry the bag that way. I actually had to have my husband carry it and open it for me every time I wanted to switch to a different lens, a filter, etc. Hence I did not have fast access to changing lenses, filters, and such for my new Canon Ti4. As a result, I lost some photo opportunities. Also I was often stuck holding the lens cap, trying to find a handy place to put it when I wanted to take a picture, e.g. of flying seagulls.

I have since purchased a Case Logic camera bag which was clearly designed by someone with 'user experience'. The case is a little on the small side, and does not hold everything I need comfortably. But it is easy for me to deal with the zips, and the velcro closure on the separate protective camera case which comes with the bag. The very lightweight, separate camera case drops into the center compartment of the bag, has a pocket for the lens cap, and attaches to the camera strap so that it is quick to take the camera out thereby leaving the small case dangling from the camera strap while shooting. The whole camera bag also has a plastic protective base, so it is safe put it down on the ground, wet or dry. Yes, I realize that this is not a review of a Case Logic camera bag, but I just wanted to point out some of the more useful features that camera bags could have!

The tripod is sturdy, and collapses easily into a convenient carry mode. I tested the remote, and was happy to find that I can hold it close to the camera and it still works. This is useful when my camera is on its tripod and I want to take a picture of our resident red squirrel in the backyard, without going outside or risking camera shake.

It is always a good idea to have a spare battery charged up.

I don't really have any comments on the filters or lens hood.

The little carrying case for SD cards is useful and gives good protection where it is needed.

All in all, an excellent kit. I priced the items separately, and this kit is very definitely good value. I would rate it with 5 stars if the camera case had a different closure system.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program

The Case Logic Sling camera bag is a very convenient carry case for camera and tripod, plus a few extras. The adjustable storage for the camera is a really good idea, we needed to remove both to make our sony A77 fit, but for a smaller camera the velcro shelves can be left in to ensure the camera fits snugly and leave room for extra lenses. There is another large zipper compartment that can easily hold a smaller camera, or a video camera. A slim front space is good for wipes or maybe a driver's license. The camera zip storage area also has a dedicate area for extra memory cards.

The camera case fits comfortably over the shoulder with a wide strap to keep the bag from digging in. The straps are adjustable for larger or smaller frames.

There is a water proof hood that you can put over the case when it starts raining. The case is well padded to keep camera and accessories safe.

*edited, Jim was in no way confused about the bag and found it easy to use. We didn't rehearse and he was sometimes confused with what I wanted him to show, and he totally spaced out about where his shoulder was in the end, which is why we were laughing so hard. He was never "puppy dog" confused about the bag at all.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Prior to this bag arriving, I already owned the Lowepro 350 sling, so my review is done with that bag in mind.

My Lowepro bag is completely perfect except in one arena -which is nothing to do with the bag but rather the one that I chose -it is too big. I found that while it carried everything I wanted, including my laptop if desired, it was too big to wear to an event because it would be in the way as I tried to navigate a room.

The Case Logic bag is the perfect size and carries everything I need: 1 Canon 5D Mark II with extended battery grip, 1 70-200 2.8, 1 24-70 2.8, 1 580exII flash, 1 Quantum turbo battery pack, 1 Gary Fong light diffuser (secured on the outside with the side strap), 1 monopod and 1 cotton carrier hip holster (secured outside). I am also able to put in all required batteries and memory cards, etc. etc. From that perspective it is perfect.

Also from the sling functionality perspective: I can swing it from my back to the front and access my equipment perfectly. I love the additional sliding/adjustable front strap which accommodates both male and female users (something the Lowepro bag fails at).

For me there are two aspects of it that I don't like. One is a perceived potential flaw, and the other is just a feature I wish it had.

The potential flaw is the strength of the stitching. Having filled the bag with all my kit and zipped it up, wherever things were a bit tight I could start to see the stitching exposed; it was stretching in the same way you would see the seam stitching pull in cheap jeans if they were too tight. This "flexibility" may be intentional but it is not comforting to see. My life experience would lead me to assume that this is an indication of future weakness and failure in the design/materials used.

In contrast, my Lowepro has been to 7 countries around the Middle East, around Europe and all across the US, and the stitching has neither indicated weakness nor displayed weakness and it is still as strong as the day I got it 5 years ago.

The second element which falls into the "I really wish it had that" is an external cell phone pocket in the chest strap -definitely not a deal breaker but it seems to be an ideal addition.

In closing I would say for light use this is a brilliant bag, and for a subset of my photographer friends I would recommend it without hesitation. For those more like me with my travel requirements and more heavy duty usage, I may display a hesitant recommendation.

Update: 11/21/2012 I have already seen the zipper do that weird thing that zippers do when they don't fully connect around a corner. One of the times was when there was a tight squeeze (not over the top just a little tight) to get the bag closed, and another time when it wasn't a tight squeeze. My initial thoughts regarding the materials used and the construction standards used during manufacturing, sadly, appear to be true.

This was a 4 star and I just took it to a 3, but really it should probably go to a 2 star because of the zipper issue. Seriously if I have a $2.5K lens in the bag and it falls out and gets smashed because there were a few pennies saved by going with a cheaper zipper, then that's simply not cool. The manufacturer's source of extra profits becomes the customer's source of extra cost.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program

Here's a video showing the sling case. (Sorry it's a bit long and may be boring) I added some pictures in the gallery as well.

At first I really wasn't sure about this sling and the price. However, after I put my camera and lenses in it, I fell in love with it!

I got the gray color and I like it, since it's more of a darker shade.

What I love:

It's not bulky or dorky looking like other sling bags takes up less space, yet it's packed with useful compartments and features.

Strap/Side compartment allows you to easily take out your DSLR while cradling it in front of you; I can swap lenses without putting the bag down; I just swing it around in front of my stomach and take out the camera/swap lenses.

The proper way to wear this is the sling goes on your left shoulder (the AmazonBasics Sling Backpack that I also own actually goes on the right shoulder to swing across properly; naturally, I put my backpack on to my left shoulder first. By unclipping the small clip that goes underneath the left side of your armpit, you can then swing the backpack around (obviously make sure the bigger clip that goes on the right side of your body is clipped on the backpack or there won't be anything holding it for you) by bringing the entire bag underneath your right armpit across to the front; then you'll be able to cradle it in front of your stomach securely.

Multiple handles (one on the top, side, and front) makes it easy to pick it up right away really has the user in mind!

Rain cover!

One more large compartment; you could fit another DSLR body in there or small video camera/light.

light tripod/monopod support on the side

In the video, I have a 55-250 lens on the left side, T3i with battery grip with 18-135mm attached in the middle, and a Sigma 10-20mm on the right side.

Case Logic makes cases for many cameras at an affordable price. I'm a definite fan of this one from them, so I feel it deserves a 5 star.

Honest reviews on Case Logic CPL-107GY Camera Sling for DSLR, Gray

This bag is great! Fits my Rebel camera with 300mm lens (barely, but securely), AND the standard lens, and various close-up filters and travel battery charger in the main compartment, pockets for batteries and memory cards, and it would ALSO fit a flash attachment in the top compartment but we use that for sunglasses, sunscreen... the pull-out rain shell is a handy addition! It is a low profile bag without extra width or depth but still holding enough stuff. the single sling is comfortable and the added clip strap will hold it securely. Access is rapid for quick shots. Well done, case logic!

Got this from Amazon just before a two week trip first to the Barcelona area then a cruise that took us to Mount Vesuvius/Pompeii, Downtown Rome via the train, Pisa and a Tuscany vineyard, then walking around Palma on Majorca then back to Barcelona. I experienced no problems with the case at all, Zipping remains smooth, Camera access is good, the strap is comfortable and it holds the gear I use.

Here's what I use it for. My camera is a Sony A-37 with a Kit lens and a sigma 28-200. The other lens is kept in the main compartment which I skew to one side using the included Velcro dividers to allow for better fit for the camera. On the other (smaller)side I keep six P series filters for easy access. With either lens attached to the A-37 I can leave the Cokin filter holder on. With the 18-55 lens on I can leave the Cokin hood on in either the inner or outer position. I put it above the filters in the main compartment when the longer lens is attached. For those familiar with this hood you know its not that deep. The main compartment flap has a zippered compartment for small flat stuff like a lens wipe and screen covers. Sewn into the flap there are two SD card holders with Velcro and each holds two of the new BASIC packaging. It also holds a samsung tab 3 7.0 which I eye-fi my pics to but only with a folio cover if I remove the filters.

The Upper compartment I keep several more filters about another 6, two chargers and four batteries in the mesh pocket on the flap. The mesh is perfect for the batteries because they are easy to find. There's a little room left over but not enough for a flash or another lens. Absent the filters and chargers there would be enough room for any of the Sony flashes and a small primary lens.

The front of the case has a gusseted zippered pocket which I kept a spare filter holder (I thought perhaps I might break one because it goes face down in the case but this was unfounded.), dead batteries and yes, a few more filters. I also kept a dust blaster.

The side of the pack opposite the access flap has a hard strap and an adjustable buckled strap. I used this for the small alum tripod that I use. I would have preferred a pocket at the bottom such as on the lowepro but believe me this is the ONLY thing I would change.

We had just about perfect weather during the trip but we did get caught in a thunder storm in Rome on the way back to the train station. It's amazing how fast the street venders change from offering bottled water to umbrellas but we had the pack covered with the built in waterproof cover so no sale for the street vendors. It takes about 15 seconds to deploy and doesn't interfere the pack strap at all. I don't think that it says this anywhere in the literature but this cover is detachable via Velcro inside the slot where it stores. It's not necessary to detach it to use it.

This pack carried and protected my gear through some pretty tough conditions. Lot's of crowds, buses and trains during the trip. Was definitely up to the task.

One little note. On Carrer Princesa in Barcelona there is a little pastry shop. Let's just say you might want to carry the case in front of you. It's comfortable enough that you forget it's there. So please anyone in Barcelona patronize this shop. It's the one with the plexiglass shelving in the window. No one could have been nicer about the breakage. You won't be disappointed with the pastries either.

Update: After several more photo adventures the bag is still going strong.

This leather camera case is even nicer than it was advertised to be. It came to me in a very secure box and It fits beautifully on the camera I have (Nikon P520)...I will definitely order from MegaGear again as I need items for my cameras.

GREAT ITEM and GREAT SERVICE....

This protective cover is a perfect fit for this camera. Leather is high quality. The shoulder strap is redundant as the strap attached directly to the camera works fine with this cover. The "locking screw" in the cover base is threaded to mount the camera on a tripod. Efficient order processing and shipping from the vendor. My overall satisfaction with this company and product influenced my 5 star rating.

This is my second case for my Canon PowerShot SD 750. The first was a little too bulky, but very protective (Canon PSC-55 Deluxe Leather Compact Case for SD430, SD500, SD550, SD600, SD630, SD700IS, SD800IS, SD850 IS, SD900,SD950IS & SD870IS Digital Cameras). I decided I needed something a little slimmer in order to easily get it in and out of my smallish purse. This is perfect! It fits tightly and is quite slim. It also has a narrow strap that clips on if you want to throw it over your shoulder. It has a magnetic snap on the front that catches easily, and it appears to be of good quality (there's also a belt loop on the back...). The only con is that the sides are not terribly protective; they are elastic, which keeps the camera snugly seated in the case, but a portion of the camera is exposed. I can't see this being a problem in most cases, and I decided to purchase a larger bag for the camera when I don't want it in my purse in order to keep it safe, and in order to keep all of the accessories together. It's also a really cute case, though the color is a little off from the picture (it's more of a light raspberry instead of a lipstick pink).

I needed a slim fit case for my fuji fx200exr (3.8"x2.3"x0.9"). This case is skin tight on the camera. Its a good case to prevent damage when the camera is floating around in a backpack but I wouldn't try to fit any larger camera.

This pink suede camera case is perfect for my canon elph SD770IS. The camera slides in easily due to the elastic sides. The neck/shoulder strap makes it convenient to remove the camera and take a shot without looking for a place to put the case. My only concern is the elastic sides do not completely cover the camera sides case in inclement weather. If user slides it in his pocket w/o strap, this is not an issue of concern.

I loved having this case in NYC at many tourist attractions.

I bought this for my daughters little Casio EX-Z77. She will love it. It's small (the perfect size for the camera) and cute and well made. It will only hold the camera nothing else, but is great for sticking in her purse.

This case got me shooting again.

I had gotten tired of carrying tons of gear. Photography got to be a chore. I didn't want to lug around a lot of equipment.

I saw this at my local camera shop. The next time I went in, I brought my camera (Olympus E-10). It fit perfectly in the case, even with the zoom lens on. Dude, how much gear do you need to haul anyway? You, a camera and a lens!

Now I keep the case loaded near the door. I can just grab it or put it in my bike's pannier, and have some fun with photography again.

As far as the shortcomings of this bag, the previous reviews cover these pretty well. For those quips, I will knock off one star. Most notable is that there is no secure storage pockets and the strap pad leaves a lot to be desired.

What I would like to add is that I bought this bag in anticipation of taking my SLR on a trip to Disneyland. I am happy to report that it provided an excellent combination of protection and easy access while remaining wearable the entire time I was there. I wore this bag strapped securely to the front or side of my torso on the rides without any problems whatsoever. On Soarin' Over California, for which there was no exception to removing your bag, it easily fit inside the storage net below my seat. On Grizzly River Run, I was able to place my wallet and cell phone on top of my camera and seal the bag shut. While the outside of the bag got soaked, my stuff remained perfectly dry.

If you're worried about looking after your SLR on a theme park visit, I highly recommend this bag.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I like this case. I have a Canon D60 and usually keep an 18-200 lens mounted on it. I previously used a Case Logic SLR case which had a hammock of sorts which helped suspend/hold the camera in place, which I found really annoying b/c it was a pain with the lens hood, or when I wanted to quickly take the camera in/out of the CL case. Not anymore though! This Thule case is very nicely designed, with a couple cushion pads included which allow me to move them around within the case so that *I* can choose how I'd like to cushion / position my camera while being stored, and allows for quick in/outs as well. Straps are well designed, and the fabric and color of the case are great and not ostentatious. The compartment is also pretty roomy (possibly too much for some people), which I like (but others might not). I do wish the bag had a few more places to add accessories, like cleaning cloths or the like, but that's more of a nice-to-have for me than anything. For just taking a camera out for the day and not bringing a second bag along, this is more than what you'd need.

I am very happy with this bag, and expect I'll look to Thule for other bags in the future.

Honest reviews on Thule Luggage Perspektiv Medium Toploader

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The Thule Perspektiv is built for the outdoors water resistant materials, lightweight, and comfortable to wear in many ways (chest, holster, sling, bag-in-bag). The quality is excellent, with quality zippers, flip and zip cover, & water-resistant materials. The bag hangs lightly and comfortably on my shoulder as a sling.

Features

Four-way use (bag-in-bag, chest, holster, sling) for adaptable flexibility and wearability

Fits up to prosumer (not with battery grip) DSLR body with attached zoom able to fit in lens up to 105mm. The space seems designed for an ultra wide angle lens.

Weather protected

Outside quick mesh pocket

PROS

* Amazing build rock solid. The base is dense and the structure of the bag stays in tact. The adjustable foam (for holding camera) is sturdy and the Velcro is strong enough to hold a prosumer DSLR in place.

* Quality materials

* Very light

* Soft exterior makes it easy to carry around all day. It's not a rock that bounces off and smacks against your body every time you walk.

CONS

* A bit expensive. But keep in mind you're paying for the nice design, quality materials, and compact size for outdoor photography. Thule products are always a bit on the pricier side for its quality, durability, & design. It's up to you if you find those extra perks worth it.

The Perspektiv is comfortable, has quality materials, and has a good design. Just don't expect it to be able to hold your DSLR and a telephoto. Know what you're getting: The Thule Perspektiv is excellent for outdoor shooting (entry level or prosumer DSLR and a wide angle or 18 105mm lens). Worthy of your consideration.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program As I like to lug my DSLR around with me wherever I go, I was hopeful that this bag would prove a handy replacement to my standard handheld carrying case. In many ways it's fit for the job; the material is weatherproof and durable; the bag is extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear; the design is not unstylish; and it there are multiple ways of wearing attaching the bag to your body (sling, back, chest).

The big disappointment for me was the lack of extra compartments. Generally, I like to carry the camera body with a lens attached, an extra battery plus the charger and an extra lens. Although all of this could conceivably shoved into the single interior, the bag is not designed for it. For me it's enough of an inconvenience that I'd rather stick to my classic case.

If all you want to be able to carry is your camera plus the attached lens, and your willing to pay the somewhat steep price, then this isn't a bad choice. It's a quality bag. If you're looking for something you can carry without having to take anything else along on your shoots, then I'd suggest finding something else.
