I purchased this for my Olympus OMD EM5. This soft case fits nice and snug with the Panasonic 20 MM pancake lens mounted on the body. I have an aftermarket strap attached to the camera and the pouch/strap does not interfere with one another at all. Perfect fit. I suggest watching the short video on OP/TECH's web site so you see the best and easiest way to put the case on and off. I would definitely recommend this just for the protection. It's not a hard case by any means, but it will keep the camera a little cleaner and there will be no little bumps. Now I just plop it in my soft briefcase and I'm on my way to work with my camera nearby with a little extra protection. Good stuff.

UPDATE March 2013

This is an update to my previous review of this product. I lost my Digital D Compact Neoprene Pouch while roaming the halls at the NY International Auto Show today. I used the little snap clip thingie to secure it to my camera strap hook. It fell off once before but I was fortunate enough to notice it immediately. At that point I should have learned that I couldn't trust the plastic clip to secure the soft case. I am re-ordering a replacement case (same one), only this time I will be more careful and secure it in a more foolproof fashion. I like the soft case very much, but be careful if you use the little plastic clip to secure it. Perhaps the lens attachment choice is better; I never tried that. Next time around I will make sure it won't come off without some effort on my part. Obviously that's a weak point I guess. Other than that, I liked it enough to re-order the same case.

This provides good protection for the Sony RX 1. It fits so perfectly that it's as if the case had been designed for that camera. Highly recommended.

Fits my Fuji X100 camera. The neoprene is fairly thin and lightweight, so only expect simple bump and scuff protection. I did notice the outside starting to pill up a bit, but it doesn't bother me.

The compact case will fit the G3 and the 20mm pancake lens, snugly and securely. The material is stretchy yet also soft. If I just want the most compact set-up for being out in an active setting it works great: one lens, minimal pouch both size wise and weight wise, and the pouch hooks onto the neck strap.

The snug fit also has the advantage of good protection in harsher environments and it is small enough to store the camera in the pouch within my larger camera bag. Recommended.

I bought this case for my Panasonic Lumix DMC SZ1 digital camera. The camera fits perfectly with room to spare for storing both an extra battery and a few memory cards in the mesh pocket (just be careful when you open the case because the storage pocket has no closure). Don't expect to see the thick, plush memory foam like in the picture. There is a thin layer of this foam on each side of the case. However, the case is rigid enough to sufficiently protect a camera in a bag and possibly even if dropped. I bought the green and I love the color. Overall, this is a very good case for the money. Highly recommended.

It's very simple, not too bulky. There is a small zipper pocket on the exterior. I don't know if it will absorb a lot of shock if the camera is dropped, but does protect it from scratches.

When it comes to protecting screens, ZAGG is top of the line! I have an invisibleSHIELD on my cell phone, my wife's phone, and my D90. I realize they do cost a little more, but it is worth it. Go to the ZAGG website and look at their video of the screen protector on an IPad; they use a Dremel on it with no damage to the IPad. The screen protector will scratch, don't get me wrong, but the scratches won't get through to the screen. When the screen is lit up the scratches seem to go away.

I bought this because I don't like the Nikon provided screen protector; it cuts down on the resolution too much. These protectors don't cut the resolution.

One of the best testimonials I have for this product is that I took some of the extra screen protector product (from a Universal protector I bought for my cell phone) and cut it to cover the top LCD. Two weeks later the plastic cover for the top LCD cracked (I set my camera bag down too hard, and a second lens squished the LCD). The screen protector kept the LCD from actually breaking, only the top plastic cracked. If I did not have the screen protector in place, I think the screen would have fully broke plus, with it in place I don't have to get it fixed because it is water/moisture repellent.

The price is not that bad, when you think about having to replace a scratched screen (not to mention the cost of almost anything else for digital photography). Get it you won't be disappointed.

This is a really nice case, padded quite well and has an added front storage zippered compartment which has another small compartment inside suitable for memory and batteries and such. The latch is especially sturdy and dependable as it is velcro backed up by an adjustable buckle system. It has a belt loop on the back and an adjustable shoulder strap as well. This case is a little more bulky than Canon's leather case but it offers a good many features the leather case does not. No doubt this case is the safer home for the camera if you don't mind the little extra bulk.

I have a Cannon SD 800IS and this case is perfect!!! It is very protective inside (soft & supportive) , it has actually two pouches inside and a nice zipper that contains it all. It has an additional strap for carrying and a place to cary it on your belt. I really like the belt option because you don't have to take off your belt to put it on. This also helps if you want to attach it to something else. The protective weather part is very discrete and hidden when not in use. All in all, this is a WONDERFUL case if you have a small digital camera!!!!

This case is awesome. Comes with decent foam padding, including a thick pad that you can adjust to whatever you need stored. The case is not the most sturdy or well-built. But it's 20 something dollars. It's slightly cheap feeling but perfect for me. I used to store a home made game. I wouldn't keep anything super expensive in it. If you plan to store hundreds of dollars worth of camera stuff for instance, it'd be worth it to spend more for a tougher case.

I bought this smaller case to keep my macro accessories in. I have 2 of the larger cases, so I know how good they are. I just did not need a large one to hold the several items I have for macro shooting.

The pluck foam is great. Just lie your item down and use your fingers to jab down in the foam the shape you need. In my larger boxes, I have changed my mind, and also made a couple mistakes plucking the foam. No problem. A couple drops of standard household white glue will re-position the foam chunks to get the shape you need. Probably would work without the glue, but insures staying in place.

The case is very sturdy. I doubt I would do it on purpose, but I would trust this case holding a $1,000 lens and other stuff falling off a table...say 3 feet, without worrying a bit about what I would find when I opened it.

This case would also hold a couple full size semi-auto, or revolver pistols just as well.

This case has a great retro look, stitched smooth leather is reminiscent of the '50s, perhaps...handsome looking anyway. It fits my LumixLX-7 perfectly, with proper cutouts for the LCD and even a screened opening at the bottom for the camera speaker to be heard. It comes with a leather shoulder strap in the same color, which I used in place of the stock Lumix-branded strap. Looks great and feels great around my neck. The snaps work well, such that it's easy to unsnap the two side snaps and the case cover stays attached so you can shoot without losing the cover. The case fits the camera like a glove. The price is an absolute bargain...wouldn't feel bad paying 2-3 times more.

I have it about half a year and now I have to update my review.

At first I was disappointed about the handling. You basically have to fasten the camera into the case with a little screw so it cannot fall out, which I liked. But for me it was a bummer that you have to remove the camera completely out of the case (open the screw again) to get access to the SD card or the battery. By now I would say, it is not a big deal to do it, I really got used to it and can do it quite fast. Only if you have issues with your fingers (e.g. arthritis) it wouldn't be a good choice for you.

The closing flap was very tight in the beginning, but by now I have the feeling that it fits perfectly.

All in all I would say for this price a very good case, but you have to know if it's ok for you to open this screw every time you want to have access to your pictures or the battery.

I bought the case to protect my LUMIX LX7. It fits like glove and gives the camera a certain retro look. You have to remove the case to access the battery and card, but it unscrews quickly not a problem. The neck strap included is overkill on such a small camera. I use a small wrist strap instead.

We bought three of these cases for our Archaeology department's 35mm cameras.Our field crews are out in the field with lots of dust and other equipment. This camera case is light and fits the cameras with the longer 90-mm lens perfectly. It's well padded and keeps the dust out. It also has a convenient pocket to store addition batteries and film. The construction is sturdy with easy to use rubbery zipper pulls. The bag may be too big for people using a standard lens.
