First I must say that you need to watch what you pay for this. I got mine at Walmart for $. That is ALL it is worth. Please do not pay more.

Back to the product. This is a cute, "foamlike" case for the camera. It fits the camera very well and comes in colors to match the camera. I don't think it offers much protection because it is a bit flimsy and the camera is pretty tough on its own. For kids who insists that their camera needs a case just like mom's then it is prefect. I would recommend going with the blue one rather than the pink because it can get scuff marks very easily and the the pink shows up way too much dirt.

I think this case is great for the Kid Tough camera. I like that it teaches my son that things should be put away safely, and as tough as the camera is, it should still be protected because it is important to him. It makes it easier to put it on a shelf or bring it with, protecting from dust, dirt, etc. However, I took one star off of my rating because rather than a handle, it has a small tab. When trying to teach my son to keep his camera safe to take it with us, it works against me because he cannot easily hold on to it. Because the camera is a good size, it usually means he uses both hand to hold it. Not convenient or practical. Fisher Price should add a common sense handle!

Got this for the camera purchased separately. Given as a gift, and it apparently worked really well for the camera, to keep it safe when being carried around....

I totally agree with the previous reviewer. Great case, great features, great color, but way too big to feel like you are protecting your camerain my case a Canon PowerShot SD1400 (as advertised to fit). Likewise, too big to hang on your belt, or throw into a bag. I won't be able to use it. Bummer.

also came with screen protectors.

i ordered it in green and love the color.

i actually purchased it for my samsung, but it fits nicely.

I recently recieved this item as a fit for my new PowerShot SD1400IS Canon Camera. I love this green color and the material used for the case, however the case is much bigger than I expected. When I placed my camera in the case, it moved around a lot even with the velcro strap holding it in place. My camera is much smaller than others, and I feel that a smaller case would fit it more securely.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program

I always had my Creative Vado with the ugly silicon cover on it and taking up room in my pocket pants, but now that I have this Caselogic Pocket Video camcorder case, I can have the cover off and not worrying about my keys or other sharp objects damaging the camera -it'll be in its own case on my belt (it can be clipped for quick removable or on the actual belt strap), which means I don't have to sacrifice the space that's always been taken up by the camera for my pants. I even love that there's a mini pocket on the case for keeping an extra battery (or memory cards if your camera takes removable memory)!

I could actually fit 10 AA batteries in the small zipper pocket (it might be pushing it a little it but it fits! probably could have fit one more.)

It's nothing innovative, but especially for the price, I really like it. I'll know exactly where my camera/spare battery is at and on my belt for easy access instead of digging through my pockets or worrying if it fell out. I would recommend it.

Fits the Kodak PlaySport Pocket Video Camera perfectly! It is always hard to tell if the camera will fit in the recommended case, but this really is a great fit. There is extra room if you need to store extra batteries or memory cards. Great camera case!

I did not buy this on Amazon but bought it at a local electronics store (which I may say cost more than from the site.)

I bought this for my recently purchased Kodak Zi8 and it is a PERFECT fit. Inside is the right size for the camera. The outside pocket is able to fit extra batteries and extra memory.

For the price this is a right fit if you getting one of the pocket camcorders.

Honest reviews on Case Logic TBC-312 Pocket Video Camcorder Case with Storage (Black)

This case fits the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD (Black) snugly it's a perfect fit, with just enough additional room to contain the wrist strap. This is what I was looking for since I wanted a case that took up as little room as possible while protecting the camera -I can now put the camera in the case, throw the case in a bag, and not worry about scratches, etc. There is also a zipper pocket on the front that has just enough room to hold a flash card and battery. Again, the fit is snug but if you're looking to minimize case size while carrying the essentials with you, then this is perfect.

I bought this for my FLIP Ultra HD and I am very happy with it. Perfect size, great quality and the price can't be beat. Some other users were concerned about protection due to not enough padding, but if you are not going to throw this against the ground with force it is enough to protect the Flip. I don't know about other devices as they may be heavier and get damaged upon being dropped. Buy it and you won't regret it.

Ample amounts of padding where it's needed. Good, strong seams and zippers. Adjustable interior pads to customize lens/camera fit. Plenty of pockets and webbing to stay organized and access things quickly. Compact design, but ample space for camera and 2-4 lenses. Took it to Jamaica and it kept things dry and insulated. The item was the perfect size for my Olympus E510 with either of the zoom lenes I carry. Has zipper and snap for a positive latch.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

Tamrac's Adventure Zoom series cases are triangular shaped holster style bags of various sizes. Fairly typical for Tamrac products, the #5514 Adventure Zoom 4 is solidly constructed using high quality materials, that with one exception, provides good basic protection for a SLR with a small lens attached. The bag has a layer of light padding in the 6.5 inch deep main compartment. Camera sizes vary, but the case will probably accommodate an SLR with a normal strap, with a lens up to about 4 inches long.

Photographers who use an R-Strap, are probably aware that extra space is required to accommodate this setup. While this case probably can accommodate an SLR with an R-Strap attached, the extra space required by the R-Strap means the attached lens would probably need to be quite short. If you do use one of the various versions of the R-Strap, then you might want to take a look at a slighter larger Adventure Zoom 5 holster.

The Zoom 4 has a single accessory compartment located in the front. About four inches high, it has an internal pocket designed to carry a spare memory card or battery. There are no pockets on the sides, instead there are nylon strap provisions for Tamrac's SAS (Strap Accessory System) components. The lid of the main compartment has a set of double zippers, with an overhanging cover for added protection. Tamrac offers the case in two color schemes.

The Zoom 4 has a carrying handle on top, belt loops, and a detachable shoulder strap. Tamrac's standard handle is very secure, with webbing for a better grip. There are two 3 inch high belt loops, which are very securely attached to the case. Although the connector fittings on the bag are metal, the connectors on the shoulder strap are plastic. While the chances that one of these plastic connectors might fail may be small, if it does happen and your camera is damaged, you will probably regret not replacing the standard shoulder strap with one that has metal connectors. Putting the customer's gear at risk, just to save a few bucks, seems to be a questionable decision by Tamrac.

I own a lot of Tamrac products, and the brand seems to have some characteristic traits. One is great build quality. The durability of Tamrac products, is the main reason I choose them. Unfortunately Tamrac products often suffer from some major design flaws, often in some very fundamental areas. In the case of Zoom 4, the belt loops are too loose, and located too low. When the holster is attached to a belt, the location of the belt loops is below the center of gravity of the rig. This causes the top of the holster to lean forward, away from the body, and the lens to dig into the body. This is uncomfortable, and makes getting to the camera more difficult. If you put the holster on your hip, the effect is less severe. However if you put the holster directly in the front of your body, it will angle down toward your groin (not a good thing). Put it in the middle of your back, and it rides into your butt cheeks.

To be fair, the center of gravity issue is common to many holsters, particularly those that are smaller, like this one. Still, the proper thing for Tamrac to do would be to try and minimize the problem and locate the belt loops as close to the top of the holster as possible, and not make them 3 inches wide, which creates excessive play. When I see some of the dumb things that Tamrac's design department comes up with, I really wonder how much research and product testing they really do.

A major advantage of a triangular shaped holster, is that it is usually the smallest case you can carry. While a holster is great for those times when you just need a minimal amount of gear, it unfortunately advertises that you are carrying a camera. If you do need a holster, this one is durable, but is not a good choice for those intend to attach it to a belt, and maybe for those that are R-Strap users. Poor design elements, and cheapo plastic parts reduce my rating to just three stars.

Best Deals for Tamrac 5514 Adventure Zoom 4 (Red/Black)

Fits my Nikon D40 with the 18-105 fine, is a little snug with the 10-24, due to it's 77mm filter size. I use it while mtn biking, and it took a tumble out of my pack while heading down the trail. Camera was ok, shattered the UV filter, otherwise was fine and am still using the camera and bag. (1/2011) I primarily use the quick buckle on the front as the zipper is difficult to use quickly, especially with gloves on. This leaves slight gaps on the sides as the bag isn't stiff enough to keep it covered when unzipped. Otherwise great minimalist bag for the dslr user.

Honest reviews on Tamrac 5514 Adventure Zoom 4 (Red/Black)

I purchased this camera bag and can say that I am glad I did. It can be used with its shoulder strap or you have the option of using it as a camera holster bag with the Tamrac belt that makes up the M.A.S. system. This bag accommodates my Pentax K10D and the DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens with no problem, through it is on the snug side especially if you have the hood cover on the lens mounted. There is plenty of room in the small front pouch for a spare filter, SD card, and spare camera battery.

I have used this bag both as for general store of the camera and when going on places to take snapshots in general. When I go hiking during the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage in the Smokey Mountains National Park I mount it on the Tamrac M.A.S. web belt hostler style along with other pouches for the short half-day hikes.

As a footnote I also own the Tamrac 5513, which is the next size down. This is too small for the above camera/lens set-up. However I believe that it would work if the K10D was coupled with one of the smaller DA limited lens like the DA 40mm f/2.8, DA 70mm F/2.4, or 21mm f/3.2. I cannot guarantee the longer of the two lenses I have mention here, as I do not own any of these. But from what I can tell about the photographs I have seen of the DA 40mm f/2.8 and how short it is when mounted on the camera, this setup should fit fairly nicely in the 5513.

Review of LOWEPRO Nova Mini SLR Camera and Accessory Case

LOWEPRO Nova Mini SLR Camera and Accessory Case
Customer Ratings: 4 stars

The Lowepro nova mini is a great bag for beginnersIt has plenty of space for an SLR, its wall charger, associated cords and extra memory cards. In addition, the bag has a fold-away rain cover if you get caught in a storm, though the bag itself is fairly waterproof. I've never had a problem with my gear getting wet in the rain, which makes it a great bag for day hiking.

In terms of comfort, the shoulder strap could use a little more padding, but overall I've found it surprisingly comfortable to carry while hiking for hours at a time. If you end up scrambling over rocks or involved in a hike that doesn't keep you perfectly vertical, the shoulder strap will not be sufficient to keep the bag from falling into your way.

One downsideThis bag does not have enough space to carry a second lens. If you want more options than the lens you've got on your camera, go with a larger bag. Otherwise, this one is comfortable to carry around, small enough that it doesn't tend to get in the way, and exactly the right size for anything you might want to pack along short of extra lenses.

Is it worth the money? Yes. unless you're looking to carry additional lenses.

Would I buy it again: 4/5 Yes.

Recommend to a friend: yes

Looks good, works well on its own, or slipped into another bag. Looks a little different from all the other small camera bags, so has the style factor going on too.

I purchased this to help protect my new Canon G1x; it does a great job of it, but is a little bulky to fit inside my laptop bag. It has room for one or two small accessories, and has straps/clips to attach it to other luggage and straps, perhaps even a belt if desired. Nice product for up to a medium-sized camera.

Best Deals for Crumpler Pleasure Dome Camera Bag (S) PD1001-B00G40 - Black

I just bought an E-PM2 and needed a bag. Part of the reason I bought the PEN was its small size, and I didn't want to get stuck with a large bag. The Crumpler pleasure Dome (S) is just the right size to fit the E-PM2, 14-42 lens and folded neck strap. You might be able to slip in the flash, but I haven't tried it myself. It will likely fit a pancake prime too.

Honest reviews on Crumpler Pleasure Dome Camera Bag (S) PD1001-B00G40 - Black

I purchased this little bag to fit a Panasonic FZ200 (identical to the Leica VLUX4). I was nervous, not knowing if it would fit. Well I'm happy to say, it fits (like a glove)... literally, like a glove. The bag is small, but it works. I place the camera into the bag with the longish lens end of the camera situated at the top widest part of the bag, and it fits with no extra wiggle room. And that's perfect for me. I have a big bag for my Nikon, I wanted something small for this compact camera. Crumpler makes great bags, my wife has enjoyed a Crumpler for her DSLR for a few years. I envision enjoying this bag for years too. This bag makes the great Panasonic/Leica camera even more of a joy to behold. Crumpler bags are cool and they're high quality. Thanks Crumpler!

I was having trouble finding a smaller camera bag for my larger compact camera. I didn't want a bigger bag since that was the reason I got rid of my DSLR in the first place...and this was the perfect middle ground. Because it's so nice and roomy, it can accommodate weirdly shaped cameras. I store my Leica with the viewfinder attached and it fits perfect, along with a little card case for essentials when I want to bring my camera on the go.

The quality was very nice even though I've never heard of Crumpler. I went with black and red, which happen to go nicely with the red dot :)

Since my purchase of the Tamrac 3385 kit, I have had a couple of occaisions to load it up with my Canon 50d, three glass lenses and a few various aids and hike 2-3 miles with great comfort doing a couple of nature shoots. I really love these shoulder straps. Think the weight distribution is well centered on the body making for a comfortable unit. It also is a fairly lightweight backpack.

The weather piping on the compartment zips appear to be well done, but I rate the quick access not as high, and I think the tripod carry should be located elswhere.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

The lower compartment of this camera bag works well if you carry just a few lenses, even though you pretty much HAVE to have your longer lens attached to the camera when you put it in the bag, as otherwise you won't have a proper space for it.

The upper compartment, on the other hand, is nearly useless. One open, undivided space, with a few pocket withoug a zipper, anything you put in it will be bouncing all over the place and, depending on circumstances, it will be likely to fall out of the bag when you open it.

Best Deals for Tamrac 3385 Aero Speed Pack 85 Photo / Laptop Digital SLR Camera

I bought the bag for a trip to Italy because I planned a lot of walking and touring. Half of the bag is strictly dedicated to camera equipment and unless you plan to carry 3 to 4 lenses and a few other pieces of equipment, I feel this bag is just too large. Tamrac could have utilized the space much better. As far as stability, the bag is top notch. The new laptop compartment is great but do not plan on fitting much more than a laptop. Overall I think this is a good product but the size isn't suitable for my intended purpose.

Also, the tripod and the cleaning click are great. I dont know why anyone would buy just the bag if the kit is the same price.

The camera case is nice but not practical. I need to take off the front part, completely, to have the camera ready for taking pictures. Also, have to dismantle the case completely in order to charge the battery or remove the memory card.

I should have bought a better case. This one was a mistake.

This case has a great retro look, stitched smooth leather is reminiscent of the '50s, perhaps...handsome looking anyway. It fits my LumixLX-7 perfectly, with proper cutouts for the LCD and even a screened opening at the bottom for the camera speaker to be heard. It comes with a leather shoulder strap in the same color, which I used in place of the stock Lumix-branded strap. Looks great and feels great around my neck. The snaps work well, such that it's easy to unsnap the two side snaps and the case cover stays attached so you can shoot without losing the cover. The case fits the camera like a glove. The price is an absolute bargain...wouldn't feel bad paying 2-3 times more.

Best Deals for RainbowImaging "Ever Ready" Protective Brown PU Leather Camera Case

I love the look of this case, price is also ok.

I have it about half a year and now I have to update my review.

At first I was disappointed about the handling. You basically have to fasten the camera into the case with a little screw so it cannot fall out, which I liked. But for me it was a bummer that you have to remove the camera completely out of the case (open the screw again) to get access to the SD card or the battery. By now I would say, it is not a big deal to do it, I really got used to it and can do it quite fast. Only if you have issues with your fingers (e.g. arthritis) it wouldn't be a good choice for you.

The closing flap was very tight in the beginning, but by now I have the feeling that it fits perfectly.

All in all I would say for this price a very good case, but you have to know if it's ok for you to open this screw every time you want to have access to your pictures or the battery.

Honest reviews on RainbowImaging "Ever Ready" Protective Brown PU Leather Camera Case

I love this camera case for the way it looks. It's just beautiful. It fits the camera but it is quite snug. It's perfect for protection, but if it going to be used to constantly take the camera out and put it back in again, it may a little aggravating.

I bought the case to protect my LUMIX LX7. It fits like glove and gives the camera a certain retro look. You have to remove the case to access the battery and card, but it unscrews quickly not a problem. The neck strap included is overkill on such a small camera. I use a small wrist strap instead.

It perfectly fits my Sony DSLT with the kit lens + 2 additional lenses + external flash + Vanguard 264AT tripod + Vanguard pistol grip bullhead + Joby Focus / Ballhead-X

I compared it to the Vanguard UP-rise 43 and although that is a solid backpack i liked the design of this one better and it's more versatile as it could interchange between backpack and sling pack

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I was looking for a compact back-pack for my DSLR and accessories and after considering various options I ended up getting this. Here is my quick summary of this bag after a few days of use:

PRO:

1. Excellent styling and design the back pack looks great and is very well constructed and feels comfortable. Also the camera access is very convenient while also being secure.

2. Multiple carrying options It can be used as a back pack or converted to a sling. I prefer the sling option since it is easier to access the camera.

3. Right size It isn't too massive and yet has plenty of space for all your camera accessories and other personal items.

4. Flexible interior space It has velcro based dividers that can be positioned for different types of usage.

5. Balance the bag is well balanced and stands up when placed on the ground.

CONS:

I do have a few minor issues with the bag:

1. No way to orient the space to carry an iPad (which I use to transfer my pictures and upload). I have tried all options and there is no way to slide in an iPad. They could have made a small sleeve for a small notebook or tablet.

2. Front zipper pocket is useless. There is no space to put anything in there without it being crushed.

3. Top compartment is not adjustable. While the space in the bottom is adjustable using the velcro dividers the top pocket is not. In my case too much space is wasted in there for just memory cards and battery. If this were adjustable I could easily slide in a tablet or notebook or eReader, or even use as a regular back pack if needed.

4. Not suitable to be used as a regular back pack if needed I wish this could replace my regular back pack if needed, but it is a dedicated camera bag and designed to specialize in that function.

Overall I am happy. I have a Thule back pack that I use for everyday use and this when I take my DSLR. Of the two, IF the Thule had a camera storage area it would clearly be the better back pack. However, all things considered Sony with a little effort could have made this a great back up. But not allowing you to bring an eReader, or Tablet or small Notebook in here makes it an expensive buy for most people.
