This is the first camera bag I've purchased in 20 years. My Lowepro was looking shabby and had one broken zipper after two decades of use so I decided to replace it. The current Lowepro line up didn't offer what I was looking for but this Tamrac looked workable.

It appears to be well made. I underestimated the size of this bag. A Canon 60D with a 28-105 lens takes up 2/3 of the interior. The two front pockets are designed so that if you open the zippers completely the entire contents will spill out. A short zipper just across the top of each pocket would have been better. The bag is well padded and provides a fair degree of protection from jarring and bumping.

The main compartment has a zipper and also is secured by four plastic snap buckles. With the bag completely closed the contents are well protected from rain. The lid has a removable plastic pocket that snaps in place. I can snap out the pocket and bring filters and such with me if I'm moving but don't want to bring the entire bag.

I can't really fault this bag in any area but I can't bring myself to really love it either. I don't believe it is as durable as my last bag. Maybe after 6 months it will grow on me.

This camera bag is large enough for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 12.1MP Micro Four Thirds Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera with Lumix G Vario 14-45 mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH Mega OIS Lens (Black) with any of its lenses, and in particular for the larger Panasonic 45-200mm f/4.0-5.6 Lumix G Vario MEGA OIS Zoom Micro Four Thirds Lens for Panasonic and Olympus Micro Four Thirds Cameras and Panasonic 7-14mm f/4.0 Micro Four Thirds Lens for Panasonic Digital SLR Cameras lenses. In addition, it is possible to attach two Tamrac M.A.S. Medium Lens Case (Black) to the straps on the outside of this bag so that all three lenses may be taken along, providing a total zoom range of 7-200mm, or given the 2x multiplier, a zoom range of 14-400mm. Moreover, the Panasonic LUMIX G 20mm f/1.7 Aspherical Pancake Lens for Micro Four Thirds Interchangeable Lens Cameras lens will fit into the front pocket, so that a fast lens is also available to low-light shooting. And the entire package weighs less than five pounds and so is convenient for travel.

First I must say that you need to watch what you pay for this. I got mine at Walmart for $. That is ALL it is worth. Please do not pay more.

Back to the product. This is a cute, "foamlike" case for the camera. It fits the camera very well and comes in colors to match the camera. I don't think it offers much protection because it is a bit flimsy and the camera is pretty tough on its own. For kids who insists that their camera needs a case just like mom's then it is prefect. I would recommend going with the blue one rather than the pink because it can get scuff marks very easily and the the pink shows up way too much dirt.

I think this case is great for the Kid Tough camera. I like that it teaches my son that things should be put away safely, and as tough as the camera is, it should still be protected because it is important to him. It makes it easier to put it on a shelf or bring it with, protecting from dust, dirt, etc. However, I took one star off of my rating because rather than a handle, it has a small tab. When trying to teach my son to keep his camera safe to take it with us, it works against me because he cannot easily hold on to it. Because the camera is a good size, it usually means he uses both hand to hold it. Not convenient or practical. Fisher Price should add a common sense handle!

Great product considering its price point. Fits the x10 perfectly well. An added convenience is the enlarged lens protrusion. The case can be fitted on while the camera is still wearing the lens hood and uv filter.

I recently bought a new camera, the Canon EOS Rebel T1i, and needed a new bag to hold and protect my precious equipment. I found this bag on clearance for $35, and bought it after making sure it would fit my new camera. The gear that I store in this bag:

Canon Rebel t1i DSLR

18-55 lens

55-250 lens

battery charger

2 filters

memory cards

extra battery

accessories

All this fits just fine, and there's actually room for more.

The bag also comes with a built in waterproof cover which I haven't had a chance to use yet, but could come in handy on a rainy day.

The bag feels great over the shoulder, and has been awesome for several full days of photo taking that I've taken it on so far.

Nothing negative to report about this bag for me yet.

I asked for this case for christmas, because I also asked for a 300MM lens for my Nikon D60 because the 18-55MM just isn't enough when your going on a lot of vacations, and doing some exploring. Anyways, this case holds all of my camera stuff perfectly. I have enough room to fit a bunch of other accessories too. This case is extremely protective, and is great for a photographer that dosent carry around too much stuff. The adjustable pads in the main compartment work very well. The shoulder pad is both comfortable and grippy. The weather cover is incredible, it is so perfect if you go out to shoot on rainy, windy, or snowy days. I highly recommend this case for any devoted photographer. Also, this case can easily work as a carry on if your going on a short trip, and have to take a plane. This is an excellent case!

This camera bag is VERY cute which is primarily why I purchased it. I hate carrying around black neoprene cases that usually end up covered in dog hair. It has plenty of storage, and its dual zipper pull makes accessing the contents very simple. The interior is well padded and soft so I'm not worried about the display screen. There are a couple of downsides which, for me, aren't deal breakers but was disappointed nonetheless. My mid-sized DSLR takes up a lot of space and didn't allow for much additional storage space. I was really hoping I could squeeze a small wallet in there so it works as a purse as well. The other downside is the strap is not adjustable. I usually wear this as a cross-body bag so not a huge deal, but was disappointed when I wanted to carry it as a shoulder bag.

I love this camera bag; no regrets on this purchase.

I wanted a camera bag that wasn't bulky, wasn't obvious but fit my Nikon 1 J2 camera plus extra lens and accessories. AND IT DOES!!!!

What didn't expect and I am thrilled with it that it looks like a small purse and fully loaded with camera equipment yet I still have room for my cell phone and cash/coins, etc. Totally pleased to be able to use it as a camera bag/purse and it not be obvious. Plus it is very stylish!!

Bag itself is nicely proportioned not as big thankfully as it looks in the picture, outside is wipable and interior compartments are adjustable.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bag if you are looking for something different, subtle yet practical, not too big, fits a good amount of camera equipment plus cell phone, id and cash and is dual propose.

This is my third Canon UW housing. I sold or gave away the other two, as I have moved up from the SD110 (3.2 mp) to the S500 (5 mp) and now to the SD550 (7.1 mp).

All my previous cameras are still in great working order, and still being used on a regular basis, both inside the housings and out (You can see my previous reviews and photos for those housings elsewhere on the Amazon site).

I am an underwater tour guide in Hawaii, so I put my housings through more day to day abuse than the average consumer. And mine have all held up well.

You need to be religious about soaking and rinising the housing after use. And occasionally lube the o-ring. And do not store it in the heat (sealed up in the car on a hot day, etc.), since this will likely warp it, and cause it to leak.

Other helpful hints that I can give, are:

1) Get a soft carry pouch for it, to help ward off scrapes and nicks in the plastic housing (I use a Coleman Stove pouch) while transporting it.

2) Do not put the camera in the housing while you are in your air conditioned hotel room. Wait to put it in, until you are outside. This will minimize the chances of condensation forming inside the housing as it warms up.

This housing is a little better than the other two, in that there is a shade for the LCD on the back, which makes it a little easier to see in bright conditions and while it is in the housing and you are wearing a mask.

My only complaint about this housing is the lack of a thumb rest for my right thumb. The other housings had one. But this one cannot, due to it's small size. Since the LCD is much bigger than the other models I have used, it means all the controls are shoved way over on the one side of the back panel, leaving you little room to hold onto it. Since I typically wear gloves in the water, I have, on a few occasions, knocked the camera out of one shooting mode and into another. Not a real big deal, it has never cost me a photo, but you need to look at the display to be sure you are in the right mode. Just a minor complaint, and I understand why, since the camera is so small and the LCD very large for the size of camera.

Overall a great product for the price, especially if you like to be able to take nice quality UW photos while on your snorkel/dive vacations.

I bought a brand new SD550 and a WP-DC80 before my trip to the Carribean, I was quite hesitant as it ended up being quite an expensive purchase (before the prices went down)--I didn't want to lose such an expensive investment with a 2GB Transcend card in it too! The water was a bit murky in the Atlantic because of the hurricanes, but the picture still came out BEAUTIFUL! I was able to go snorkeling and kayaking around Belize and Honduras without worry about the drizzling and humidity. It was absolutely wonderful being able to take pictures EVERYWHERE I went and not have to worry about my camera getting wet or damaged. The pictures are beautiful (as if the case wasn't even on it) while I was on land. I would definitely recommend this product, and I will be taking it to the snow this Winter (PLEASE Snow NOW!) and not have to worry there either! :)

It's insane to spend $180 for a piece of plastic, but it's also insane to spend $400 on a camera and then need to buy disposable cameras when you go scuba diving. This is a nice design, not too heavy, and it does the job perfectly. I only wish it were half the price.

Honest reviews on Canon WP-DC80 Waterproof Case for PowerShot SD550

Yes, it costs a bit more than a disposable camera. But like other reviews have siad, if you spent $400 + on the camera, why not have the underwater case.

I was amazed at how well it is built. I felt totally safe putting my camera inside of it. And it takes great pictures. If you are in the ocean, the waves and current can make it difficult to take the pictures, but practice makes perfect. One tip, when in the ocean try to get as close to the subject as possible so the flash will help brighten the colors. I came home with a few shots were everything is blue and green.

We live near the water and have used this case once or twice a week since we got it. It really is amazing!

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Canon WP-DC80 Waterproof Case for PowerShot SD550

I bough this waterproof case for a trip to St. Thomas over Christmas.

The photographs that we took came out perfect. The flash diffuser worked well, by eliminating the air bubbles that normally are captured with underwater cameras. Make sure that you set up your camera to the underwater mode so that it automaticlaly adjusts your color balance.

The only problem that I had was since it is so compact, I often accidently would move the switch to movie mode. This ruined a few photographs, but also made a great movie of a sea turtle coming up for air.

I know that it was expensive, but much cheaper than buying a new camera or buying multiple disposable underwater cameras and having X-ray machines fog up the pictures.

This is a great bag, it folds down to about the size of a small book when I put it away, and in use it will easily fit a "Patterson" type tank and all the tools you need to load the film.

I use this bag for process loading 35mm, and 120 film and also for re-spooling 120 to 620 and I always have plenty of room to work in it. I have used Stainless tanks, and Paterson type tanks in this bag with no problems.

Don't cheep out and get a smaller bag, you will just end up buying this bag later.

The Adorama large changing bag has plenty of room for loading film into processing, and I felt confident no light could get in because of the double zipper bag. I have used it to load film processors, and fitting everything one needs into the bag was quite easy.

Honest reviews on Adorama Large Changing Bag, 27x30", for Bulk Loading Film.

This bag was a reasonable price, and a good size to spool 35mm negatives. You can fit a daylight developing tank for 2x 35mm reels, plus the reels, plus some scissors, and some other things as well in this bag. The wide end has double zippers (nested zippers for extra light sealing). The arm holes fit snugly, but are not uncomfortable. If you have forearms that are thicker than normal you might have some trouble with the fit cutting off circulation, but I have no trouble.

I got sick and tired of having to light proof my bathroom everytime I wanted to spool a roll of film. This item lets me put in my whole kit and I can change the film in bright light. Great bag for the money ,I was looking at the tent version but didnt want to spend a lot of money. I would recommend this bag (make sure you get the large one) to anyone that doesn't have real darkroom and use bathroom to do the magic.

I LOVE this bag. It is a big one though, so be aware of that.

As any photo bag fetishist will tell you, there is no perfect bag. But this one does come close. Laying it down is sometimes awkward, as it doesn't rest flat in many position. However that is pretty much my one and only gripe. Sturdy, rigid, lots of pockets, customizable inserts, room for long lenses, attached or not. Straps are more comfortable than I originally thought they'd be. The materiel is harder against your skin, but the weight distribution, especially when you fasten it all the way up, is phenomenal.

I have NOT attempted airline travel with it so I cannot comment on that.

I am going on a trip to france and I am looking for a smaller bag that also can carry non-photo items and I love this bag so much, I am making finding another Kata my first priority.

I love the BG-255, and I picked the Ultra Light version just to save precious weight as I stuff it full of camera bodies, lenses and also lugging around a tripod. I like the feature of being able to attached the tripod either to the side and also straight on the front, for better balance. I have not yet tried the sun/rain cover, and over time we'll see how the bag holds up (especially pulls, zippers, etc.) but so far, all is good!

This full case isn't too bad for the X-E1. I recently purchased an X-E1 this past week and was looking for a case that would protect it while I saved up for another case that's genuine leather and has a battery/SD Card slot opening.

I was a bit hesitant when purchasing this case because there weren't that many reviews regarding the Ever-Ready cases. But it turns out, that this case is great! It may not be genuine leather but it gets the job done and protects the camera quite well. Besides not having an opening for the battery/SD card slot, look at the positives:

1. A full protective case that will cover your camera even with the 18-55mm lens attached.

2. You can use it as a half case and that part will not only protect your camera, but it will also give you a better feel for the camera, as it adds a grip to the right side when you're holding it.

3. It also comes with a faux leather strap just in case you want to match the strap with your case.

4. The case mounts onto the camera's tripod mount. There's a screw that's found at the bottom of the case that secures your half body case so you don't have to worry about it falling off. You can still mount a tripod onto the camera even with the half case on.

Negatives besides the non-existing opening for the battery/sd card compartment:

This may be another minor issue for some of you out there: With the half body case attached, the camera won't sit flat when placed on a table because the screw that goes into the tripod kind of protrudes out from the bottom. I don't really have an issue with this since I don't mind it.

I hope this review helps!

I looked high and low at the various case options (as of May '13) for the Fuji X-E1. Most of the cases are half cases (the Luigi style cases typically marketed for the Leica M cameras)and tend to fall into two price ranges: really cheap ( US$ 75). At the time of this writing, this case is retailing for $16.99 via "Prime" and includes not only the half case, but also a top "Ever Ready" portion and a strap... While many here will have no qualms forking over a Benjamin for a small leather case, I was a bit hesitant. I mean, I don't have a half case for my M6 at this point so I why should I spend so much on this camera. And the primary reason for the case is to protect the camera. However I do concede that for many out there it's also to add a bit of bling to the camera as well... This case will give you some K-Mart bling... ;-)

While looking for cases, I noted a couple options that were of interest. One is the ability to open the bottom battery/sd card door without removing the case. This case does not have that option. Another is that the nicer leather half cases have a little strap that wraps around the top of each of the strap lugs on each side and snaps in place to secure the half case better to the camera. I like that option, but alas this case doesn't have that feature either.

So, what's so awesome about this case? It was $17 that's what. Yeah, you cannot access the battery door without removing the case and no it doesn't have those cool straps on each side to secure over the strap lugs... However it is a sturdy case and looks to be made well. The bottom "half case" portion does have a bit of a pronounced extension in the curved portion that wraps around the right side where the grip is. This kind of acts like a small grip which is a bit of bonus I hadn't counted on. It does look like it would protect the camera well in a relatively minor fall (let's say 3 feet or so..) I considered the Ever Ready top portion a bit of a bonus and from the image thought it might be too bulky to use. I've been using a flexible neoprene Leica case (if you can call it that) that I use with the M6 and figured I'd get something like that in addition to the half case, but alas this Ever Ready case looks like it's going to work really well. Unlike some of the older Ever Ready style cases from the times past, this case breaks the Ever Ready portion into two flexible pieces (permanently attached to each other) that make it really easy top pull it over the lens and top of the camera so that the snaps can be quickly put in place. It's a bit hard to describe, but basically it means that once you undo the snaps on each side and pull the case over the top of the camera, this top Ever Ready portion will readily (no pun intended) fall over and hang by it's bottom snap while you're simultaneously flipping the on switch and readying for your shot. Same thing in reverse. It's quicker than the old Olympus OM case I have for my OM-1n.

Let's be clear.. I'm not a huge proponent of "Never" Ready cases, but for $17 this is one hell of a deal. It fits the 18-55 lens with the hood reverse with no problem. It also fits my 35mm summicron with the hood on and looks like it'll fit the 50mm 'cron I have with the hood as well. I'm also thinking it's going to fit the fujinon 35mm f1.4 with it's hood, but I don't have that yet. I will confirm once it's in hand.

Unless you really really need to have leather (and really guys, even Leica's come with vulcanite covering) or you really need to have access to the battery hatch all day, this one is a no brainer. Either way, if it doesn't end up working out for you it's not a major loss...

It is simple, but functional case. I was expecting worst quality for $17, but it fits camera+18-55 lens snugly, and will definitely protect it from bumps and elements.

This is ultimate value for money case for the XE-1. Fits the camera well and am happy with the quality. From far off you can't even make it if its faux leather. Of course I would greatly like a battery opening door. But for 17$ am not going to complain.

I bought this for my Nex 3 camera which is supposed to be the same shape/size as the Nex 5. The body portion fits snug the lug that attaches the case to the camera via the tripod "hole" in the bottom is plastic but rugged enough for my use and the price paid for the case! The camera fits nicely even with flash attached, however you do need to be careful of the tab on the camera (the one that will stick up on the backside of the flash when installed) as it catches a bit and if not careful you may break it... The back panel of the case does not sit directly on the back of the camera leaving a small gap for dust/whatnots to weasel their way onto your lcd screen. This wasn't an issue for me as my camera gets pretty light use anyway.

Over all for the money, this is a cool little case... I'll be buying a better neckstrap for my camera as the on it and the one this case comes with are pretty thin and hurt a bit after much wear... I would buy this case again.
