After reading several reviews of the Case Logic camera case (TBC-302) which is recommended by Amazon as part of a package with Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS19 or DMC-ZS20, it was clear that several reviewers proclaimed the same thing: that particular Case Logic bag is too small for these cameras (which have an identical body). It was obvious that it was necessary for me to visit several of my local stores with my DMC-ZS19 camera in hand and try out several different cases. I found the winner at a Radio Shack store: Lowepro Tahoe 30. The price was similar to Amazon's. The camera fits easily into this well-padded bag, more protective than the Case Logic. There's an outside zippered pouch in which I keep an extra charged battery and an additional memory card. They fit side by side instead of on top of each other, so the package doesn't get too bulky. If I want to bring a second extra charged battery, I can lay it (in its plastic case of course) at the bottom of the camera compartment itself. I position the case on the left front side of my belt, near the buckle end, so when I unzip it, its opening is on top and in front, safe and convenient. Also, when I inevitably unbuckle my belt, the buckle prevents the bag from slipping off the belt and onto the floor (or, much worse, into a toilet!). I just returned from a three-week trip to Ecuador, where I wore this camera case every day. Five stars for comfort, protection, and convenience. Don't hesitate if you have the DMC-ZS19 or DMC-ZS20.

I would like to give this product 3.5 stars.

I got this case for my Sony HX9V, which fits nicely inside.

I like that this case is kinda slim, and I like the stain resistant material it's made of.

I also like that it's semi-hard and protects the camera well.

Also, the zippered front pocket is nice.

However, I wish the case opening was bigger. (I wish it would open up more, like a clamshell.)

Also, I wish the zipper had soft inner siding on both sides. (it only has it on one side)

As a result, I need to be a little careful when I'm putting the camera into or taking it out of the case, to avoid scratching it.

(What I do is open up the case as much as possible.)

So, I like this case, but it definitely needs a bigger opening.

I use this to carrymy Sony RX-100, to protect it and have it handy. This case is well made, soft protective linng inside, spacious enough for most P & S cameras, and easy enough to use the camera when attached to your belt. There is a small zippered outside pocket, which I use to carry an extra battery and/or an extra SD card. Over time I have come to trust the equipment made by Lowepro, whether it's a full-size case, or a pocketable one, like this one.

I just received it today and it looks good, very small, which is what I wanted. It fits my T2i with the kit lens only. I have a 55-250mm lens as well and I wanted to see if maybe it would fit in the bag while on the camera. Nope. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but just know that if you had the same question, there's your answer. It really doesn't look like a camera bag, more like a purse. My co-worker said it looked like a little lunch box. It's built ok, perhaps not as sturdy as my other bags, but I suppose that's due to it's size. Obviously it isn't built to go on wild adventures. But it seems like it'll be great for walking around the town taking photos. The side pocket is perfect for my wallet (I carry a very, very, small wallet), passport, lens cloth, and my extra memory cards. I haven't used it yet, but once I do at the end of this month, I'll update my review as to how useful it was while out of town.

My only complaint is that it smells weird. I don't know if it's the material of the bag itself or the material of the bag it came inside of, but either way I'll let it air out before I use it. It's pretty strong when I open the bag..that's the reason for the 4 stars, but I don't know if it's just my bag or maybe because of the shipper. If the smell doesn't go away before I have to leave, I will definitely return it and use one that I already have. I have a very sensitive sense of smell.

Well I really researched camera bags, and I narrowed down to the rounded Built neoprene one and this one and ordered both to choose. Each had its pros and cons, but this one won out, and now after using it a while, I'm SO happy I picked it. The size is one issue it's really small smaller than I even expected when I ordered it couldn't be smaller and fit a DSLR camera I think, and that is a huge plus for me since I have to carry it all over for work. I actually wish it was maybe one inch wider on the accessories side so my wallet could fit in. I wear it cross body and it's very light and comfortable even though I cut off the padded part on the strap because I really didn't care for it though I find the rest of the bag pretty decent aesthetically. The little handle on top is very nice and I find myself grabbing it more often than you'd think. The camera rests in the camera side very nicely and fits in fine even with the strap on. I can carry my USB cord and a few tiny accessories in the other half, but that's really it. It does have pretty nice pockets on that side that hold the accessories tight and provide easy access. I also really like the hardware connecting the strap to the case well made and attractive it rotates and swivels so the strap never tangles. The whole thing feels secure. The only quality the rounded Built bag had over this one aside from more room inside I think is the more ergonomic shape so when you wear it strapped cross-body, the rounded bag fits right into your waist and more flat against your body. It's also kind of cute in a new design way. But the inside design in my opinion was a mess. So I chose this one and the boxiness isn't really so bad because it's very small overall.

Ok, I used this bag for quite a while now, so with that said I the first positive about this small bag is that it's very durable and it looks just like it did the first day that I used it. I purchased this bag when I first bought my Canon T3i which I used with its starting kit. With just the Camera its self and the basic 18-55 mm lens that are the stock lens for most DSLR cameras then this is a great case that is a must have to protect and carry all the necessary accessories for it. On the camera pocket there is enough room for your DSLR and its 18-55 mm lens. Note that the lens must be attached onto the camera in order to fit in the bag. If you are trying to fit it in the pocket separated than it is not going to fit, they must be attached. In the accessories pocket I managed to keep 4 extra batteries, an SD card, the charger and the charging cord. Both pockets are very well made and it really takes advantage of all the space the bag is using up. With all this said, if you have more accessories than this, they won't fit into this bag. An example would be if you had a telephoto lens such as a 70-300 mm lens it will definitely NOT fit into this bag. It is simply to small for that and it wasn't intended to carry it. It was made to carry your basic short distance lens such as the stock lens or a 50mm lens. It also won't fit most speedlites. They are just to bulky and too big to fit in this bag. This isn't a bad thing, but it's just good to know what fits in this bag and what doesn't. I am surprised as far as how much this bag can actually hold though, it is very small and portable, yet it holds enough for the average photographer. Now as far as appearances most people will say that it looks like a small lunchbox. Well this isn't necessarily a bad thing. You don't want people knowing that you have an expensive DSLR in the bag now do you? That will only attract attention and make it easier for you to get robbed. So that is the good thing about this bag, it's discreet. With that said I really don't have any negatives about this bag. It's perfect and is great for your necessary supplies. If you have more accessories and you are planning to carry them all around then I would recommend buying a bigger bag. I rate this product 5 stars out of 5 stars.

This is perfect for my Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens. The camera with the 18-55mm lens attached slips right in as pictured, and it's easy to pull out and snap a few shots on the fly. The back pocket easily fits the lens caps, spare battery, and SD cards. Seems like it might be a tight fit with the battery charger, but I haven't tried.

I was slightly concerned about the smell reported by other reviewers, but figured I'd give it a shot. I don't have a very sensitive sense of smell, so discerning noses may still want to proceed with caution. But I did take a good sniff when it arrived and couldn't pick anything up, and I've never noticed anything since.

Best of all, it's a simple and low profile little bag, rather than a bulky piece of cargo that screams "Hey robbers, I'm carrying an expensive camera! If you get a minute, you should totally come and assault me!"

I thought I was getting a great deal; purchasing a camera bag at this price. When I got the bag, my camera and accessories fit perfectly. But, I carried the bag around for less than an hour and the strap tore right off of the sides of the bag. I checked to make sure it was not something I had done, and realized that the corners of the strap were sewn very poorly to the sides of the bag. I would not recommend that anyone purchase this item.

This is a great bag. It fits the camera and new film as described....however if you are a guy you may get made fun of for your new purse.

The hard top and bottom was a great feature.....hard sides would be even better but for $20 its a killer bargin.

I was finding that many of my activities were going unphotographed because I didn't have a way to safely carry my equipment. Activities such as bike riding, cross country skiing or canoeing have not been a part of my photohistory--until I got the Tamrac Expedition 3 backpack.

The "Expedition" holds my SLR with a 300mm lens, my standard lens, my off camera flash, extra film, standard filters and cleaning supplies, with room left over for my keys and money. Everything is well padded and secure, and the pack is quite small and sits squarely on my back. A sturdy top handle allows it to be carried in hand, and its small size makes this possible without dragging it along the ground as I do so. The materials used are very sturdy; the pack can stand on its own and does not "collapse."

The only down side, and this is true of any camera backpack, is the need to take it off and zip it open to get at your gear. If this would be a concern, you may want to check out the top-loading hip packs, which I passed on since they always feel awkward to me. Years of hauling backpacks make the "Expedition" seem like second nature to me. No longer will my photohistory suggest couch potato-dom; now I can shoot my exploits on trail or river, thanks to the "Expedition!"

This pack worked great for about a week. It handles my STsi along with a 75-300mm lens, a 28-80mm lens, a 2x tele-converter, a hot shoe flash, 8 filters, and assorted other trinkets. The one main complaint is there isn't much room for film. Also there isn't any room to grow with the pack. The pack is very small. If you are the "just bring this and thats it" type then this is YOUR pack. I on the other have bought 2 more lens (35-135 & a 1000) and another body. Not a chance of fitting this into the pack. another complaint is that since it is so small lashing a tripod to the pack is just notfeasable. All in all GREAT pack! Although I have a few complaints it is great to just keep your camera with you and your hands free. And I did order a much larger pack. So enough of my whinning!

This is a nice, well-made, durable backpack.

It just arrived today and I immediately stuffed it with my Nikon D50 SLR, with an 18-55mm lens attached and 2 additional lenses. It was a VERY tight squeeze getting this little bit of gear into the backpack. The bag is bulging at the sides making it a bit of a pain to zip up. If I had it to do over, I would probably opt for something larger than this backpack but for what it is, and the price, it'll do. The good thing about it is that the space constraints can be somewhat alleviated by purchasing attachable lens cases such as the MX5378 and MX5375.

I'm not sure why people are complaining about this backpack being so small since the description and pictures are accurate (though it looks smaller in real life and the scale is not all that obvious).

I easily fit a medium sized camera with a 28-300 lens attached and and an 18-55 lens directly below it. I don't have other lenses to fill up the side partitions of the main compartment, but could easily fit 2 to 4 more lenses (depending on size) in these areas. The sides of the main compartment seem a bit tighter to fit things in, however.

Even being conservative, this pack should fit a camera with lens attached, 2 additional lenses and a flash in the main compartment.

In the smaller front pocket I fit 2 memory cards, compact lens cleaning kit, larger lens cloth, 8 AA batteries, compact charger. A mini-tripod or compact water bottle would fit in the outside pocket/strap.

Don't expect to carry huge amounts of additional things in this pack aside from additional small items like keys, wallet, map, cell phone.

You're not going to be putting your thermos, picnic lunch and jacket in here. It's not even as big as most computer backpacks, but it certainly doesn't claim to be. You might fit some small additional items, but not anything bulky.

The construction seems good and it's reasonably rigid and well padded. It's a good value for the price.

I ordered this bag over a canon bag for my rebel XT and lenses due to reports of problems with the zippers on the canon bags. The tamrac bag's zipper feels quite sturdy, but it seems to get stuck or a little tight towards the top when zipping or unzipping both main pockets.

Otherwise this was a great purchase. There is plenty of room so far, for my Digital Rebel XT with 50mm f/1.8 lens, 18-56mm lens, 75-300mm lens, charger, two batteries, various cables, manual, lens pen, and tripod mount. Theoretically you can attach a tripod to the bag as well, although mine is too large and even if it weren't I'm not really sure it would hold it in an optimum fashion.

The shoulder straps are comfortable and sturdy, as is the carrying handle. There are enough pockets and seperators to hold most of the little knick-knacks that you might need. I'm quite happy with the purchase.

I love my Ando 18, I really do, its the best messenger bag I ever had. But the only problem that I found is that my 17.3" laptop does not fit inside! I honestly bought this bag just so that I can carry my laptop with my DSLR camera and 2 lenses.

I carry a Nikon D800 with a 24-70mm f/2.8 attached to it, and I also carry a 14-24mm f/2.8 or 50mm f/1.4 . I tend to leave some extra space inside so that I can carry my nexus 7, hard drive and my Lytro camera.

Things that I wish fstop would change in this bag is to make the laptop sleeve a bit bigger so that it can carry large laptops. the other 2 things that I would like this bag to come with is the rain cover and a large gatekeeper strap, I know that I can purchase them separately, but I still would like to them come with the bag.

Update 02/14/2013:

I managed to squeeze my laptop inside, however I would still like to see f-stop make the laptop sleeve to be a bit bigger.

One thing that I forgot to mention is that my laptop is larger than normal laptops. I'm using a Sager NP9370 (Clevo P370EM) dimensions: 16.50" (w) x 11.54" (d) x 1.55"-1.96" (h)

I've had my Celestron Sky Scout for about two months now and was enjoying it a lot. But every time I held the Sky Scout in my hand, I did so with a bit of trepidation, fearful that I might drop it, dirty it, or scratch it. My fears only compounded when I let my kids or neighbors hold my Sky Scout. The Sky Scout is not heavy, but it is a bit clumsy to grip, especially for small hands or for extended periods of time.

Last week, I chanced upon the Scoutcase on Amazon quite by accident, but was struck by its obvious usefulness. I immediately ordered one. 2 days later, it was in my mailbox (although this is probably because it was shipped from only about 40 miles from where I am).

This is such a simple yet useful idea! The case seems to be very well made of good materials. I initially thought that this case might be water proof, but it isn't and the description does not claim that it is. One common complaint of the Celestron Sky Scout is the lack of lens caps, but this case does not solve that problem. The soft padding and hand grip (which is like the grip found on many video camera cases) are totally awesome ideas and make the Sky Scout very comfortable to use. In fact, I find myself reading the object information on the LCD screen even more now since it is much easier for me to interrupt looking at the sky and flip my hand around to turn the screen towards me for brief moments. The buttons and LCD screen are nicely visible, and the case fits really snugly on the Sky scout.

I have used the case for two nights now, and can't imagine why anyone would want to buy the Sky Scout without getting one of these cases to go with it.

I'd concur with the prior reviewer. The case adds protection and ease of use while not detracting from functionality. The case is nylon and vinyl, and all stitching and straps are well done, IMHO. I was very pleased with the fast delivery and communication by the vendor. I too would not recommend going without this affordable accessory for the SkyScout.

The Scoutcase is a good idea for anyone that has the SkyScout. I wouldn't call it perfect, but it's a good case. It fits fairly well, offers some protection from drops etc., and seems pretty well made. You won't mistake the vinyl construction for leather though. There have been reports on the internet that the clear plastic on the case that is supposed to protect the display and lens, actually scuffs them up. I have not seen this yet, but it has been reported. To remove the batteries, or use a tri-pod, you have to remove the SkyScout from the case. I feel much safer using my SkyScout with the Scoutcase on. All in all, it's a worthwhile purchase.

This small camera case is the perfect tight fit for my Kodak Z1012 IS. The camera fits in the top section of the case very snuggly. The bottom zippered section perfectly holds my battery charger with a spare battery. Inside the case is also a neat litte memory card holder that you can keep a couple of spare SDHC cards in. I just used this case on vacation and it was small enough to sit in the bottom of my carry-on and still have plenty of room for other stuff. As mentioned my Kodak Z1012 fits very tightly in the case. Therefore, I think it should also fit all other Kodak digital cameras, since the 1012 is one of the largest Kodak digital camera bodies.

Though this bag is "compatible" with the Z812IS even on the Kodak website, I found it to be an extremely tight fit. I'd rather have an eight of an inch margin around my camera so I don't have to literally shoe-horn it in!

That being said, this is probably not the fault of the bag which is a great bag by itself! Just not the best bet for the Z812IS.

UPDATE on 2/21: I've now used this bag for the past 2 weeks and need to change my opinion. I think the bag has "loosened" up just a little bit and i now find it very easy and convenient to use this for the Z812IS. Plus the fact that I can fit my Insten Battery Charger for Kodak KLIC-8000 and Kodak KLIC-8000 Equivalent Li-ion Battery in the bottom compartment makes this a winner!

I'd change the rating to a 5* if I could.

This bag is sold as a fit for the Kodak Z812-IS however the fit is extremely tight and beyond that I'm not a fan of the single clip connection (back of bag) to the strap. Had I been aware of this I wouldn't have purchased this bag. This single connection causes the bag to flop around more and not remain steady as you walk or move about.

I was worried that a camera case this inexpensive would be a disappointment. I was wrong.

It is well designed, well made, feels rugged, and has just the right amount of padding.

My camera wasn't listed, but after checking out the dimensions, it seemed like it might fit my camera. I have a Fuji Finepix HS20 and it fits like a glove even with the supplied lens shade attached.

I have had lots of cameras and camera cases in the last 50 years and most have been more expensive, but none have been better.

At this time, the same Polaroid Studio Series SLR/DSLR Holster case shows up in at least seven different offerings on amazon.com with none costing more than $15. This is unusually low for any type of holster case. The case is listed as being suitable for many different medium/small DSLRs and compact micro-four-thirds cameras. From the case measurements given in various case descriptions, it is difficult to determine how well various cameras will fit. I was hoping that this case would be small enough for my compact Panasonic DMC-GF3 with short zoom lens. From other reviews, it appeared that this case would be suitable for larger cameras, such as the Fuji HS20EXR, which I also own, so I ordered the case.

The Polaroid case has a plastic exterior with the look and feel of leather and the interior is a cloth fabric over about 1/4 inch of protective foam padding throughout. This makes the case rigid enough to hold its shape, but flexible enough to conform to most cameras and keep them safely restrained. A shoulder strap is provided and there is a carrying handle on the case cover. There are also two loops on the back surface to carry the case on your hip by attaching it to your belt. The case is a little large for carrying on you belt, but this is a very convenient way to be hands-free when the camera is not in use, but easy to retrieve when ready to take pictures. The droop cover of the case makes it easier to quickly insert and remove the camera. The assembly quality is excellent and amazingly good for such an inexpensive case. The listed interior dimensions of 6.7"x3.6"x6.7" are close to reality, but the sloping sides of the case and the drooping top cover reduce this somewhat. The maximum useful depth of the case is more like 6 inches, so cameras with long zoom lenses will not fit.

My Fuji HS20EXR that is about 5" wide by 5" deep (with integral zoom lens) by 3.5" high and fits in the case perfectly. The holster design of the case does not really leave much space for accessories, but there is plenty of room left inside at the top of the case for the camera neck strap (if used). There are also two small mesh pockets, with one on the front and another inside the cover (with closures) that are suitable for memory, batteries, etc.. My Panasonic GF3 mico-4/3 camera with a relatively short kit zoom lens is only about 4"x3.3"x4.2", so there is some room all around the camera in the case. The foam padding will still protect the camera from damage and the extra room makes it every easy to insert the camera when not in use and to remove the camera quickly for photos. The holster design provides quick camera access without zipping the cover closed every time (when actively taking pictures) and can preclude the need for using a neck strap on the camera and still have the camera readily available for use.

The Polaroid case is surprisingly inexpensive and appears to be a very suitable for a wide range of medium to small DSLR-style cameras with small zoom lenses. However, although the double stitching on the two belt loops looks excellent, the thin plastic case covering may tear during use (no extra thickness back-up material in stitched area). This seems to be a potential problem on similar plastic and leather cases with belt loops, except heavy canvas-type materials with heavy stitching at the attachments.

I would highly recommend this camera case, but if you get it and don't find it ideal for your camera, you could still use it to carry a cold can of Coke and a peanut-and-jelly sandwich on your photo shoot! (The foam padding is the thermal insulator too).
