Best Lowepro Classified 140 AW Deals

Customer Ratings:

If you are serious about photography, before long you will accumulate some equipment and several camera bags. You will soon learn that camera bags are like luggage you will need one to fit the occasion.

I now own five Lowepro camera bags. From smallest to largest:

* Classified 30

* Classified 140

* Classified 160

* Fastpack 350

* Pro Trekker 300 AW

Bags have to accommodate not only the occasion, but the equipment you want to carry, and maybe the equipment you hope to one day own and hope to fit in the bag. Below is the new stuff I own:

* Canon PowerShot G11

* Canon EOS60D (without grip)

* EF-S 17-55

* EF-S 10-22

* EF 70-200L IS

* Speedlite 430EX II

* Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 Carbon Fiber Tripod with the 054 Magnesium Ball Head with Q2 QR

OK. I bought the Classified 140 to hold my EOS60D with EF-S 17-55 lens, hood, and perhaps a map or travel book or sunglasses. It works for me as a small bag to carry just the essentials one DSLR camera (not too big), one lens, around town when I want to keep a low profile.

I have read all the bad reviews about this bag but I still bought it anyway it was my last bag in my lineup. For anyone contemplating one of the Classified bags, I would recommend looking at the 160. The 160 is bigger, deeper, can carry an iPad, and has a little pocket for my tabletop tripod. Most photographers would be better served by the 160, but for what I describe above, the 140 is perfect. I can carry it all day without bother. I use the 160 when I want to look discreet and carry more. With the exception of the tripod, I can get all of the above in the 160, but it is heavy. If I want everything the 160 carries plus more room for extras and a laptop, I choose the Fastpack 350. And finally, for when I do landscape photography, I want something to carry a tripod (the Pro Trekker has three ways to do it), lots of water, lots of equipment, and a removable fanny pack/top pack, then there is no contest -the Pro Trekker is the one I use. You see, trying to get away with one bag, especially if you have lots of stuff, will never work. Get the 140 for when you walk around town with what I describe while on vacation or doing other things. Choose the 140 for when you are in dress clothes and want to use your DSLR for some great low light event pictures. And get the 140 if you have an ILC camera, a couple of lenses, flash and what have you. For an ILC or larger compact with extras (think PowerShot G1X), the 140 should work well.

I hope this helps. I just wanted to counter all of the trashing of this bag by reviewers expecting something it is not and was never designed to do.

I use the bag for a Nikon D5000 with 55-200 and 18-55 lenses. All fit nicely along with spare batteries, filters and lens cleaner. With a flash unit or additional lenses get a larger size. Doesn't look like a stereotypical camera bag. I am very pleased.

I was looking for a small sub camera bag and chose this bag over Domke F-5XB and something else from thinktank.

This bag is not for you if you need a bag to carry more than your attached lens. I find it great to carry around when I want to take a short walk around the city or run off for a short day trip.

It fits just the amount I would need without becoming a big bulk. I usually pack a d50 or d300 with a wide angle zoom lens/hood attached, and a speedlight in the main compartment, and other filters, memory cards and batteries in the small pockets.

With a d50 inside it's not that tight, but with a d300 inside it is a little snug, but it's okay if you open up the expanding zipper.

I love the bag because it's small enough to carry anywhere all day without attracting much eyes and without adding much strain to your shoulder. Also the bag itself looks and feels great, and the material used and finish is also top-notch.

Overall I'd recommend it to anyone in the market for a small, low profile but great looking, tough bag.

Been a big fan of Lowepro, so I bought this hoping to use it with my S&F harness (as Lowepro advertised), I was extremely disappointed.

1The bag is way too small for a 6D and a kit lens, I had to remove all the velcro dividers to barely fit my camera... not the safest setup, so I end up using it less and less.

2Lowepro falsely advertised their S&F Harness system can attach to Classified and Magnum bag, so false, the bag hangs two low and too loose to be of any use. To be fair, this is a point I hold against Lowepro and how the harness/bag combo were advertised.

3The shoulder strap felt a bit uncomfortable, at first, but I haven't tried it on a long run, it may get worse, or I may get used to it. I can't tell.

4It has small pockets on the front, but they're too small to carry anything of use.

Maybe if you have a small DSLR, it maybe able to hold the camera, lens + flash, as the picture shows, but it's not the case for me.

I wanted to take it back, but I got it 50% off and the cost to ship it back would've diminished my returns, so I'm keeping it.

Functional, durable. Elegant? No. No frilly damask pattern or silky lining or bold royal crests. Not that I wouldn't mind such flair! It's a simple camera case that does the job well.

I'd been thinking about buying the Sports Pack for awhile when my girlfriend and I planned a cruise to the Western Caribbean. That's all it took! I was sold. The order and prompt yet reasonable shipping went very well (as always with Amazon!)

I used the Sports Pack to take about 160 photos in 45 min. while snorkeling on the Atoll Reef 12 miles off Belize. here are some that have been enhanced using iphoto just look for the underwater shots :>) enjoy! .mike

This is actually a replacement case for the one I purchased years ago that was damaged on vacation. This case enables me to take my little Sony camera along when I snorkel (it's only good to about 10 feet deep). It's easy to use and has absolutely no impact on the photo quality. As with any underwater camera case, you just need to ensure the o-ring is well greased and free of debris, and apply some defogger to the lens cover prior to use. You can also purchase small dessicant packs from a photo supply store to help absorb any moisture inside so the lens doesn't fog. I'm pleased with this purchase but should caution other owners of similar cases my original case broke because one of the gray "buttons" broke off during transit something in my bag must have hit it. So even though the case is durable, make sure to protect it when not in use. I've learned from that and won't let it happen again! These things are getting harder and harder to locate since my camera is over 5 years old!

This case is great for pictures of the kids underwater! I also use it occasionally as a protective case for trips in areas where it rains a lotit protects the camera very well. I wish I purchased it at the current sale price! It was a little expensive when I got it (half the price of the camera itself!) but I have no regrets.

Best BUILT Neoprene Hoodie Camera Case, Scuba Blue Deals

This is a great cover for iphones for the people that love to keep them from getting scratched. Easy to locate in car, purses, etc.

I am an international traveler that hates to just throw my camera in a pocket and hope it survives my trip. I am also very picky about my camera case. This case is perfect! It holds my camera tight and protects the front and back. I was surprised how well the neoprene protects the front of my camera despite the neoprene being soft. The back is nice and solid so I don't have to worry about my screen getting cracked. The top flips open quickly and I can get my camera out fast enough for those spontaneous shots. I love the pocket created between the hard back and outer layer of neoprene, it's great for extra cards and batteries. It holds them tight enough that you don't have to worry about them falling out but not so tight you have to work to get them out. Wish I had discovered this years ago!

I'm really pleased with the color and quality of this case. When you pull the flap back you see that there's an additional space to put extra memory cards, etc. However, I feel like I'm squeezing my camera in there, and it's pretty small. At least it's snug. I'd recommend this case.

Discount DURAGADGET Premium Camera Carrying Strap with 2 Year Warranty

Customer Ratings:

I love this strap, because it is thin, can adjust the tightness, and is clear. I don't like neck straps, so I use wrist straps. The wrist strap portion is wrapped in tubing, unfortunately (here's the fatal flaw), the part that you affix to the camera eyelet is not. This part is thin string, so after use, it frays and it will break. I still think it is one of the better wrist straps out there, but you will have to replace it once you see the eyelet-strap fray.

Suggestion to the manufacturer, wrap the eyelet strap in plastic or use a different material altogether (fishing line maybe).

I got this for my new Lumix DMC_LX5, as another review said it fit and was good. It fits if you don't take in account that the strap doesn't, and has to drape over the top and hang out of the opening after you zip around it. It also has a front zip pocket, in the photo makes it look like there's lots of room for an extra battery. The battery fits, but when you put the camera in with the strap, you have to really stretch the case around it to zip up. I didn't return it because it was too much trouble. Who knows how long it will last having to stretch it each time it's used.

Reviews of Precision Design Digital Camera Padded Carrying Case for Fuji

Customer Ratings:

Quality, construction and price are all good. However, this puppy is rather tiny. Beyond a digital camera, usb cord, and maybe 4 extra AA batteries you're not going to be able to cram in anything else. Although I haven't experienced it yet a 5 foot drop onto cement would not protect the contents. Hindsight being 20/20 I should've put my 10 bucks towards a larger camera case/backpack.

The case's compact and light weight design is perfect for anyone who just wants a simple carrying case. I loved the adjustable divider inside and the shoulder starp was nice too.

Though I must say it looks some what like a lunch box you would give your kids. And to me, closing it can be difficult.

Other than those thing this is a perfectly priced carrying case.

I bought this camera pouch (Lowepro Dashpoint 30) from eBay for my Canon EOS M w/18-55mm lens and it is perfect fit. Bag is very strong but super light weight, high quality from inside and out. I own many camera bags and this one is my favorite. If you have Canon EOS M w/22mm Lens, then Lowepro Dashpoint 20 is a good fit for you.

I picked up this case at Best Buy for 16.99 for SONY NEX-C3 camera. It is a perfect fit. The camera with the kit lens (18-55mm) can fit as a top loader with lens pointing down or lens pointing up front toward the Lowepro letering you see in the front.

Just like its little sibling, the Dashpoint 20, it is very well built, with adequate padding and high quality zippers offering maximum protection. You wouldn't expect anything less from one of the leading companies in camera gear protection and transportation. The case comes with a neck strap and which is pretty convenient. Additionally the top flap houses a small inside pocket for memory cards. There is enough room to store an additional battery inside the case as well. Overall very happy with it and surprised that Best Buy has a better price than here. If you are looking for a case to carry your compact system camera and a couple of accessories, you will not go wrong with this one. Highly recommend it.

Honest reviews on Lowepro LP36443-0WW Dashpoint 30 (Galaxy Blue)

Not a lot of padding. Doesn't fit the Canon SX50 HS I bought it for. Now serves as a pouch to hold energy snacks like Honey Stinger waffles and chews. Would not provide much protection from shock for cameras.

I don't like it. It's an awkward shape. The colors are just too neutral and the logo makes it look even worse. Not as soft and protective as I thought it would be. The straps are cheap. This is a dull product.

Honest reviews on VG Sky Blue Laurel DSLR Camera Carrying Bag with Removable Shoulder

This is a solid case! I love how small it is because its a lot easier to carry around and it isn't constantly getting in the way of things.

Its taken several bad drops and has held up extremely well.

The color is super cute, but does get dirty fairly easily.

The best part, there is room for lots of supplies (Batteries, chargers, cords). Overall awesome case. No regrets here.

I purchased this case for my panasonic lumix fh-1 in hopes i could squeeze it in (case dimensions are a bit smaller than my camera). the camera fits quite nicely without pressing into the elastic so its worth mentioning that it is a few millimeters wider than stated. the build quality appears much better than the price point would elude to. the magnetic clasp is stronger than expected. the interior surfaces are not exceptionally soft or padded but i don't expect them to wear on the screen. the belt loop on the back is much narrower than i'd like and feels stressed when attached to all but my narrowest belt, but it does fit. overall this is a solid, cheap case i can feel confident in recommending

Nice case! I bought it for the horizontal orientation because I wanted to wear a small camera (Canon 780is) on my belt (on vacation) rather than carry one around in a pocket. Worked just dandy, and I like the magnetic lid. You can be pretty quick and inconspicuous on the draw with this thing, and that's wonderful.

My only complaint: The case could use an extra little pocket or even an elastic band for a memory card or battery. Oh well.

All around excellent (and extremely comfortable wearing) accessory for your point-and-shoot camera.

My previous camera was large and the case even larger...so I finally went with the small Canon Elph 300 and thought this little case would be perfect for it. I love it! It is nice and snug and safe for the camera and I can just tuck the entire thing in my purse so I'll always have my camera with me! The strap on the camera can just stick out the side of the case and you can carry the entire thing with the strap without actually removing the case. Nice, sleek little leather case...can't beat the price! Highly recommend.

Leather Case Bag Faux PU for Canon Powershot G15 Camera Black Review

Customer Ratings:

I bought this for my G15. It was cheap, so I was surprised to find that it fits beautifully, is very well-made, and looks great on the camera. I keep the bottom half on the camera when I'm using it to protect it from dings, and snap the top on when I'm not using it. I'm planning to buy another one for my daughter's camera if it's available for her model.

Tamrac 3304 Ace 4 Photo/Digital Camera Bag Black Reviews

Customer Ratings:

Consult Tamrac's sizing chart on their web site, and see if there is a similar product if this bag's internal dimensions do not match your camera.

The material is reminiscent of OJ Simpson's glove. I was really looking for one of Tamrac's kevlar pouches in this odd dimension, but could not find one other than this for the 'Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W3'. The material actually seems like it will hold up decently, although perhaps not as well as kevlar.

If you're familiar with Tamrac, this lives up to the quality of the brand.
