F.64 HCX Blue - Lg. Holster Camera Bag Reviews

F.64 HCX Blue - Lg. Holster Camera Bag

Quality of this bag is good, well made. The size is just good for my Canon EOS Reber T3i with 18-135mm IS STM Lens with EW-73B Hood attached forward. I don't have to put the hood backward to fit in the bag. The front pocket is big enough to accommodate the battery pack, battery charger, power code, interface code and stereo AV cable. However there is no room to store an external flash. I don't mind that because I don't use an external flash unit. Overall I'm happy with this purchase.

Well built, with plenty of extras. Backpack is rather bulky and heavy even when empty. Not recommended for anyone with a weak back. I mainly use it to pack my camera gear on driving trips. I use a smaller backpack when hiking and/or flying. This will NOT fit in an overhead compartment, even in a large plane.

I purchased this bag because i needed to carry all of my gear at once. I'm a sports photographer and i can fit two bodies, 24-70, 70-200, and a 400f/2.8 and still have plenty of room for batt's, flashes, and cards. It can be a little testing on the back though, i'll retire to a roller somewhere down the line.

Best Deals for Lowepro Pro Trekker AW II Camera Bag (Black)

The bag is heavy, but provides solid protection for my camera. I was worried my JVC HD110 video camera wouldn't fit. It fits, but just barely, I have to remove the AB battery pack. This camera is larger than most prosumer video cameras, the bag would be overkill for those. It works well for walk in access of 15 or 20 minutes, otherwise it would be a heavy solution. I also use it just sitting flat in the back of the car where it protects and organizes my gear and is ready for a quick run into the woods. The sealed zipper is hard to zip and unzip (stiff) so for quick access that's not so great. I'm hoping with some use it will loosen.

I removed the side lens cases and extra pack to streamline the bag.

It is huge, but seems so lightweight to carry. nicely organized to hold all my photographic needs when I am out trekking around

I purchased the Pro Trekker AW II backpack because the mini Trekker AW was not large as big enough to carry all of my equipment. This is the "Grand-daddy" of all bags! It is large enough to carry most of what you need for any extended photo shoot. I have my Canon 40D has the BG-E2N battery grip and the RRS BGE2-L40 attached, 1.4 & 2.0 extenders, grad filters, circular filters, 28-300mm lens, 100-400mm lens, 180mm micro, 16-35mm wide angle, 28-135mm lens and other items. I use this bag in conjunction with the mini trekker AW pack. Both packs are great durable pack and I use them all the time. I use the Pro Trekker AW II as my main pack and the mini Trekker AW as my satellite backpack, for mini, short shoots. For long, extended shoots, the pro Trekker AW II is a must.

After using this backpack on many shoots, I recently discovered a condensation issue with the inside plastic pouch liner. So please be aware! After a recent early morning sunrise shoot, returning to get some java, I notice that the inside of my pack was wet. Couldn't image where I got water...Exploring the bag, I discovered that the inside plastic pouch had condensation on it. Getting a cloth I quickly wiped up the moister. It continued to condensate for awhile until the temperature rose above the dew point. I was outside below 40 deg. and came inside [room temp]. Still a great bag! I also own the Dry zone 200 as well.

Fit's my Samsung TL 225 perfectly. It is a hard case and protects the camera. No complaints!

I love this case. It has a great feel to it and is very sleek. It hugs the camera and makes it great to carry in my purse.

Best Deals for Semi-hard Magnetic Closure Case for Samsung Digital Cameras - Black

When I received this product, I was sure that my camera was too large for it. I was actually surprised that my camera not only fit, but fit perfectly. It is a low-priced product, so there are no bells and whistles. No space for charger, adapter, extra memory cards, etc. Just the camera. It is sturdy enough to protect the camera, which is all I was looking for. I would have given 5 stars if the case had a clasp; I am not sure that the camera would stay in the case if it were dropped and the extra security would be nice. Overall I would recommend this case to owners of Samsung TL205 digital cameras.

Honest reviews on Semi-hard Magnetic Closure Case for Samsung Digital Cameras - Black

This case seems very nice, but I bought it to go with our new Samsung HZ30W and it does not fit. I repeat, this case is too small for the Samsung HZ30W, even though it says "for Samsung digital cameras"!

Must add my praise to that of others. Just purchased a Samsung SL605 and it fits perfectly into this lovely case. Inside the case was a bonus -a soft leather strap for the camera. Nice leather, nice feel and perfect fit for almost nothing. Delightful.

Think Tank Cable Management 30 V2.0, Clear Plastic Pouch
Customer Ratings: 5 stars

My first purchase into the Cable Management series was this item, the 30 v2.0, and I later added the smaller 20 v2.0. More space seemed better with this one just make sure you can fill it all. While the 30 does have a lot of space, it almost seems to be too much space, depending on what you are putting in it. Right now I have a bunch of audio cables in there for shooting video, and it works perfectly for that since I can throw everything audio-related into one case and keep it separate from other equipment. The Cable Management 30 has a center divider as well to help keep things organized inside, as well as including some of the ThinkTank red cable ties which are amazing. Comparing it to the 20, they both have their uses, I can fit larger items in the 30 and smaller items in the 20, while keeping them relatively secure and not overly bouncing around inside the bag. Check your size needs before buying but I can foresee myself buying more of the smaller bags (20s and 10s) to keep the rest of my gear organized and saving this larger 30 for actual equipment not just cables. Has that great ThinkTank quality so it definitely gets 5 stars for usefulness and durability.

I got this because my larger Kata bag was too much bag for those shorter trips where I will be on regional aircraft with smaller overhead bins and less space under the seats. The nice thing about this bag is I can get my Nikon D7000 body, Tokina 11-16 wide angle, 70-300 telephoto, and 18-55 general purpose zoom in the lower compartment with a large amount of space in the top compartment for misc stuff like noise canceling headphones, wallet, keys, and other small items.

I got this few days ago and fist thing I noticed was the case is not big enough to take the 35mm 1.4 lens with the hood, so each time you carry the camera you have to separate the hood and put it in the small rounded container which is included in the package.

Also this case doesn't support the macro lens (60mm 2.4). Since I have two lenses for this camera, this case is not that practical for me.

Pros: Nice leather, fits the camera very well, perfect for those who only prefer to carry one lens at a time

Cons: Not supporting the macro lens

I'm returning this and already got the ThinkTank Retrospective 5, which is big enough to take three lenses including the camera and small enough to carry it all day around!

It is a nice leather case that fits well.

And recommend it with a BIG caveat

Do Not use the strap provided.

It attaches to the case and can come undone with your camera landing on the floor.

Luckily mine landed on the sofa.

Now using the strap that attaches to the camera, not the case strap.

Best Deals for Fujifilm X-PRO 1 Leather Case

I really wanted to love this case, it looks beautiful on the camera and it feels great. The main reason I'm returning it is because there is no battery/sd slot access. You have to completely remove the half case from the camera to swap out the battery or sd card. While the half case does come off with little effort, it does fit fairly snug and I'm worried that repeated use of taking it off and on will wear on the rubber grip.

Honest reviews on Fujifilm X-PRO 1 Leather Case

After thinking about getting a cheap $20 knockoff case, I decided to buy the real deal Fuji case from Amazon. They had a great price. Even though I knew there were several things I don't like about this case prior to my purchase, and purchasing this in spite of its shortcomings was my own decision, I decided to let them reflect in my rating.

THINGS I LIKE:

The case fits the X-Pro 1 with 35 mm, and doesn't fit the 60 mm. This is a positive! I only intend to use this case when I want to go really portable and not bother carrying a camera bag, and I don't intend on getting the 60 mm lens. Many of the knock-off cases are designed to hold the 18, 35, and 60 mm lenses, which makes the case too bulky for someone who has no intention of getting the 60 mm macro. If I ever get the 56 mm f/1.4 lens, I'll carry the X-Pro 1 in a small camera bag.

The item was being sold at a fantastic price on Amazon.

THINGS I DO NOT LIKE:

There's no battery and memory card access unless you take off the top lid and the half-case.

The half-case part is not as nice as the ones offered by 3rd party designers online. If these other companies made a semi-affordable full-case for the X-Pro1, I would have bought it instead.

The half-case was not as protective as the 3rd party designs, particularly the back. There's no protection for the LCD at all. It's completely open. Other products offer a built-in hand grip, which would have made this case incredible.

Again, I knew of the flaws before I bought this case, so I must have thought it was worth the asking price. So far, it has been! The primary factor for buying this instead of anything else is the compact lens section of this case!! The knock-offs are too big.

Nice leather, easy to put on and use and good design. Not sure what the round leather pouch is for. Filters maybe? Only criticisim is that rthe case doesnt fit around Fuji's 60mm lens. Just ordered the new zoom lens so will be unhappy if it doesnt fit that.

I got this for my new Canon SD800 IS (great camera btw). It's as small as possible, not possible to get any smaller really without sacrificing protection & utility. It fits in my pants pocket which is really nice. It has a small pocket for a memory card or battery, I'm not sure both would fit in there. This is the bag I use most of the time. I have a larger one for if we were going out for the entire day.

Just received the Rezo 10 for my new Canon S90. The pouch is well constructed as everyone's reviewed here, however the S90 is too long for this bag. There is a discrepancy on the internal dimensions listed on Amazon vs. Lowepro's website: 2.8 x 1.4 x 4.7 vs. 2.8 x 0.8 x 3.5, respectively. In this case, I'd go with Lowepro's sizing to be accurate. I will return the model 10 to Amazon and get a model 30 instead.

Shop carefully and Amazon, please correct the post.

I'm giving the product a 5 star rating because it is very well made and attaches on my Lowepro Flipside 200 nicely.

I bought this camera bag for my Canon Powershot 600. It was perfect! I am a big fan of anything lightweight and not a nuisance or bulky to carry around. With the adjustable strap, you can easily put it around your neck or carry it on your shoulder. It even has a loop in the back of the pouch so that you can carry it on your belt. It also has a small pocket on the inside to maybe put in another memory card for the camera or extra battery pack. Definitely worth the price.

I am a Lowepro fan because all their products are high-quality and thoughtfully designed. This small case is no exception, but was too small to comfortably fit the Canon S100 I bought it for. At such a low price, I kept it to use with something else. I've got the Lowepro Apex 20 AW that works beautifully as a belt case for the S100.

My wife's camera and cords fit perfectly in to the case. Nice color and appears to be a strong case BUT the zipper does not stay closed. It closes around the case but the back end unzips and it does not stay closed. I would have given it a 5 star were it not for that problem.

It's a nicely made bag and made of quality material. I purchased it to travel and carry my equipment but after receiving it it was really bigger then I realized!

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I had purchased the Super Coolite 5 lighting equipment from Interfit. I was disappointed that it did not include a bag, which is a must have and should be included, shame on Interfit. They do sell seperately of course the Interfit INT437 bag which is specifically designed for this lighting equipment. Everything fits very nicely. There are two levels to the bag. At the bottom of the bag are four flexible straps that are designed for the two tripods that come with the Super Coolite 5 lighting system. The straps fit very snug around the tripods. No sliding around in the bag. I placed the power cables, softbox rods, softbox covers, external softbox covers in this section as well. I also placed my own circular reflector there as well. I also should have enough room for my camera tripod as well. The floor of the second level is then placed over the bottom section and is attached with velcro. On the upper level there is a padded divider secured with more velcro with the flexibility of three different areas it can be placed. On the right I placed the two high contrast metal reflectors. The fit is secure with very little lateral movement. On the left I placed the light bulbs. I kept the plastic casing, (which easily snaps open) with the thin paper material around it. I also kept the original shipping cardboard frames for the light bulbs which give you additional padding for the fragile bulbs. The fit was perfect, almost like it was designed to store the light bulbs in their original packaging. Below the light bulbs I placed the two Super Cool Lite 5 Heads. I secured bubble wrap around them to give them some extra protection, although the box seems to be padded fairly well. I just like the extra insurance of extra padding. There is black secured cover split in the middle that connects with velcro that covers the top section. The zipper works well. The wheels appear sturdy enough. Straps appear strong. So far the bag has been great and for the priced I paid $47.00 compared to the $97.00 MRSP is a bargin!

I did not realize, in purchasing, that the strap was for the camera, and not the case. When the camera is out of the case, there is no way to keep track of the case without putting in a pocket or a bag. Otherwise, it is a very cute case that keeps the camera safe and clean when holding it.

I have an earlier model of this bag, it is years old, showing no signs of wear. I got a new camera, so of course I looked for a bag like the old one, and this is as close as I could get. This bag is made just as well as my other one, the color is a nice brown that is not overstated. The bag is large enough for a digital SLR, mine is a Nikon P90. It fits with room to spare, and has a divider for the main compartment that adjusts with velcro to keep the camera sitting snug. There are little pouches for memory cards, a place for a charger, it is an all in one place bag great for trips. It has a comfortable shoulder strap that is adjustable. I like this bag, and would recommend it to anyone with a medium size DSLR.

I got this bag for my Nikon FM10 (with 35-70mm zoom lens) which I got for an Intro Photography class. It's just the right size for this camera, plus it has space for at least several rolls of film or extra lenses.

It's also outfitted with slots for memory cards, so digital cameras can find a good home here as well.

It's waterproof, lightproof and padded enough to handle everyday jolts.

There are two padded dividers on the inside that are secured with velcro. They have flaps and can be adjusted to accommodate SLRs, pocket cameras, and others. I wouldn't get this model, however, if you need to carry a telephoto lens (it's too small) or if you're looking to carry around more than two extra lenses. Otherwise, it's a great little bag.

Best Deals for Lowepro Nova 140 AW Camera Bag (Chestnut Brown)

Attractive, comfortable, and functional, this bag easily accomodates my Sony A33 DSLR. The pockets on each outside are nice size, and even the front zipper pouch is cushioned for protection of fragile accessories. Lots of smartly designed little compartments both in the front pouch as well as on the lid, both outside and inside. I especially like the two-option lid closure, both zipper and quick-click-connect, the latter of which I use day-to-day, the former of which I can seal up for extra protection when I choose to. I don't think I'll use the velcro department creators, but they're smartly designed for those who need that. Simply not a better bag out there in my opinion.

Honest reviews on Lowepro Nova 140 AW Camera Bag (Chestnut Brown)

I like the interior zipper for added protection. I have been enjoying this bag on the beach in South Fl., and It's very handy while shooting to unzip and access my polarizer case, or cloth to wipe of to reach in for my lens cap...Lot's of very cool compartments, and the best lowepro camera bag that I've owned over 27 years!

Additionally, I felt that it was an exceptional value, given all that it comes with!

This is a fantastic idea! I carry digital camera gear, hard drives and LOTS of rechargeable batteries onto boats to take photographs underwater. It has all become much easier with a waterproof backpack... and it seems to be accepted as hand luggage by airlines. This big version carries a lot, two cameras, two flashguns and two lenses and an aluminium camera housing. A wildlife photographer could get almost anything into the pack, and sling a tripod on the outside, with lunch in the pocket.

The waterproof layer has a zip that would not look out of place on a drysuit, and seems just as efficient at keeping water out.

The backpack looks bulky, but it's comfortable when it's adjusted. My only reservation is that the pack is bright yellow, and stands out in a crowd, which isn't ideal when it's filled with $$000s of gear. It would be easy to find if you dropped it in the sea, though, and Lowe claim that it would float, protecting the gear inside!

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I bought this bag specifically for a big trip to Europe, Africa and Asia, which included a stop in Thailand, where I was expecting to spend a lot of time on boats that weren't particularly seaworthy and I was particularly keen to visit the Emerald Cave, which involves a 200m swim through a cave to an enclosed beach.

Over the course of a month, I flew 13 flights and covered a distance of over 45,000km in the air, carrying in excess of 15kgs of gear. I was able to fit the following camera equipment in the bag with ease:

* Canon EOS 1Ds Mk III body

* Canon 24-70 2.8L lens

* Canon 70-200 2.8L IS lens

* Canon 100 2.8 macro lens

* Canon 16-35 2.8L lens

* Canon 1.4x extender

* Canon 580EX II flash

* Wolverine 250GB portable HDD

* Various other small accessories, including CF cards, etc.

The bag also has an external compartment with plenty of zippers where I was able to fit a 15" IBM laptop, along with books, travel documents, noise-cancelling headphones. While I occasionally had to remove the laptop to fit the bag into an overhead locker, I never had any problems with airport security or getting it on to the plane. The bag is also extremely comfortable to carry around and has solid chest and waist straps to distribute the load. Most innovative is the back harness system which can be eaily adjusted up or down based on your height. The bag also has a hidden fold-out tripod holder down the centre of the bag.

Of course, the best feature of the bag is the dry-suit zip. It took a little time to properly lubricate it with silicone grease, but once complete, it really has a very solid feel. While I was a little nervous climbing into the ocean with all my gear, it worked perfectly. The bag floated high in the water and not a drop of water penetrated the bag. The self-draining pockets on the outside also worked really well.

There are a few minor downsides: First, the main zip is really heavy duty and requires some effort to open and close. This means it can be difficult to get your gear in and out quickly. There is a secondary standard (non-waterproof) zip that you can use instead but the bag tends to sag without the main zip closed. Second, the yellow colour gets dirty easily. Finally, the exterior compartment is not waterproof, so if you plan to go for a swim, you'll need to remember to remove everything from that compartment.

Overall, this is another excellent bag by Lowepro. The dry-zuit zip really works superbly. Some of the design features particularly the height adjustable harness and waist/chest straps are superior to those on more conventional models, such as the Computrekker AW Plus. I would have no hesitation recommending this bag to anyone planning to take lots of gear into extreme climates, be it snow, water or sand. I have to admit, however, that I will probably continue use my other Computrekker, Rover and Slingshot bags on a day-to-day basis as they are simply easier to get gear in and out of the bag.

Best Deals for Lowepro DryZone 200 Camera Backpack (Yellow)

It's big and bulky, and it's not always convenient (photo backpacks never really are), but it holds aqnd protects an enormous amount of stuff and, when properly adjusted, it rides quite comfortably. I enjoy shooting waterfalls, and moving water in general, so there's a fair amount of rockhopping involved...over, through, and sometimes in streams, rivers, ponds, and surf. I've adjusted the pack to fit very snugly, and I've never felt out of balance or uncomfortable with as much as 35 lb. of gear on me in those situations, so I'm able to get into some reasonably remote locations and really work on a scene with all my tools.

Honest reviews on Lowepro DryZone 200 Camera Backpack (Yellow)

I know many people has issues with the hard zipper and so on. I have known these backpacks for some years and used them in my job in Patagonia (Chile). Accessing glaciers, sailing at 50 kt in the coast, kayaking and rafting. And I can tell, there is NOTHING that compares to this backpack. You can swim with it, fall and expose it to the strong winds of helicopters day after day and it keeps going.

Sure, it is not a backpack for shooting weddings... It takes longer to access your devices inside but its purpose is protection without being a hard shell case.

Also I have noticed with our guides that not always they know that Lowepro designs products, like the Dryzone, that you close the external zipper only during extreme conditions. Therefore, for normal or more easy access to your products, you leave the TZIP opened, using only the internal zipper.

My only issue is that there is not a Dryzone 300 model. I need a bigger model!!! The 200 looks big, but is it is not extreme and it feels very comfortable on the back. Just a little bit bigger than my Targus backpack for the office. I have used a Petrol backpack WAY BIGGER, where I fit all my devices with plenty of space but failing to provide all the needed protection; and not comfortable enough for walking, a short climb or kayaking.

After three hours I got a distribution scheme to fit my essentials inside the dryzone 200, including a Nikon D5100 with 18-55, 55-300, macro and wide lenses, a camcorder SONY HDR-FX7, a 20Wd2 light, batteries, WB cards, chargers, wires, rain skins for both cameras, tapes, a hydrophone, a M-Audio sound recorder, a GoPro U/W camera and cleaning tools. Externally a professional tripod. I added some Lowepro Sliplock devices outside (bottle pouch, apex 5AW, rezo 60 and phone case 20 for small devices like first aid kits, radios, a leatherman and a SPOT satellite messenger). It sounds a lot but it all fit, a tighter than desired and using each little space. I would not mind to have a bigger backpack of these with more space. But I can do my job with the Dryzone 200 and it is the only one that survives this extreme environment. This is the third we add to our team.

The TZipper needs to be greased with the supplied gel properly. If the zipper opens in a wrong section, it can be set back to its position and it does not means is damaged. Always the problems I have found with the TZIP is just lack of being properly cleaned and greased. On the zipper I use the same product as on our drysuit for diving. Just cleaning the tzip very well after greasing to prevent it from collecting sand or dirt, usually when working with the helicopters. One of ours backpack remained during the off season in a wet storage and got some mold on it. Nothing that "Lysol" could not fix and kept going next season.

Just a personal experience. I recommend this product, despite its high cost, to people that need extreme protection, for extreme environment where a hard shell case is not practical.

I bought the Lowepro DryZone 200 for a raft trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. On the plus side, the bag is very well designed for camera and lens storage. There are lots of interior pockets for extra batteries and other gear. And the bag when properly zipped up is quite waterproof. However, I needed to stow my camera during the larger rapids and then retrieve it for the stunning landscape that was passing by. I found the waterproof zipper to be very difficult to work. I followed the directions and used the grease/goop that was provided: first upon receiving the bag and then twice during the 8 day trip. It didn't seem to help much. The zipper was extremely difficult to move. Overall, I am disappointed and would not recommend this bag for anyone who needs to get access to the camera/lenses more than once a day.
