I was a little hesitant about purchasing a "universal" camera case for my fiance, but it's pink (and girls love pink), so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I'm happy to report that it's a great little case for P/S cameras. I dabble in amateur photography myself, so if I didn't feel comfortable with it, I would have sent it back. So...

Pros:

-It's durable. Very.

-Great finish on the outside

-Nice and soft finish on the inside

-No worries about scratches here

-It's pink (did I mention that yet?)

Cons:

-It's universal (not a perfect fit)

-It doesn't change my Jeep's oil

Ok, so the last con is a stretch, but really it's hard to find a con here. The universality (is that a word?) really isn't a con, it's what you should expect. There is elastic on the sides, which holds the camera snug, however the case is wider than the camera, and allows for some movement (I can't knock that, I knowingly bought a universal case).

For the price, you can't go wrong; especially if you have a girl in your life who just MUST have a pink camera case.

Summary:

Great buy. Would recommend.

Just fits my Nikon CoolPix. Too snug to use the memory card holders inside. Would be perfect for a sleeker/thinner camera, but bought it mainly as a protective cover. Great price and does the job.

Honest reviews on This Sleek Case with Pink Plush Interior Was Designed for

I liked this case since I ordered it. I was actually a little scared that it may not fit my Nikon Coolpix s630. It fit perfectly! The only thing that I didn't like is that it fits so perfect that there is no way to use the inside pockets that it has for a memory card or battery. But since I don't really carry those items separate any way, its not a big deal for me. I like the case and it worked for my make and model camera!

Case in point--this is a nice camera case. It's a rustic orange color (little lighter than pictured) and the feel is a pebbly leather grain. When unzipped, inside is black with a soft velvety feel and the five compartments are each outlined with the same rustic orange leather. Anything that one needs to operate a digital camera can be stored within these five compartments. This case is definately a plus when travelling. I would recommend this to anyone who appreciates organization; especially in this fast paced digital age.

I like the case because it is hard and will protect the camera, also it has Velcro inside to protect the camera and a place for the extra battery.

I bought three of these cases for various cameras that my wife and I own. The halves are nice and solid, which is something I was looking for since most soft cases can be smooshed quite easily and not protect the contents at all. The inside has a velcro strap on one side and a mesh pocket on the other. The strap holds the contents in place so it doesn't slide around in while closed. The mesh pocket can hold small items like memory cards, headphones or spare batteries. The case also comes with a small carabiner that attaches to a loop on the outside, I don't use it, but it's nice to have the option. The zipper feels sturdy and has two slides to open and close and the tabs are long and easy to pull. Overall, I like this case and for the price it is a great value.

I like the semi hard case but not the cheap velcro straps that you have to use to store your camera safely in this thing. A simple pocket would have been a nicer solution but it'll do for now..... at least it was cheap!

This is exactly what I was looking for, a small hard case that can withstand being in a big purse or diaper bag and not get crushed. The cover is easy to wipe clean, just in case, and looks sleek. It also has a carabiner so you can hook to something. I usually only hook to something inside my bag, so I don't lose things, this also makes it harder for sneaky toddlers to make off with! :) Also has a little mesh pocket inside for extra batteries or cards and ample room. Definitely worth the money.

Product as described. Good price for a nice protective cover, and it is good fit for the Canon ELPH 300. Prompt shipping during the Christmas rush. Would recommend purchase.

It's a very nice compact case with a small narrow pouch on the inside. It's not very effective with anything thicker than your hand as my G100 did not fit very well even though I measured it out before purchasing.

Honest reviews on CaseCrown Brushed Granite Case - Black for Canon PowerShot Point

I used this case with my Canon Elph 300 camera on a recent month long trip to Sri Lanka. The case protects the camera extremely well and has a mesh pocket i used to store two extra batteries i purchased as spares for the trip. Nice case, good materials and workmanship. Recommend highly for this type of camera and use. Price is right.

New to SLR digital photography. I am an obsessive researcher when buying big items and ended up getting a Nikon D90 with the kit lens(18-105VR). Did the same with camera bags. I'm not as crazy as some about the "sling" bag by Lowepro. I found this at Best Buy then later ordered it on Amazon.

For the money I love this bag!

1)It seems extremely well made. I can not imagine dust or anything getting to my precious camera when it is in this bag.

2)It closes with a zipper and then a flap and then even has a bag for rain that covers the whole thing if needed. It comes from a hidden zipped pocket in the outside bottom of the bag.

3)Very versatile with the pads & velcro to design the inside any way you want. (I had extra pads and put them in the pocket under the lid which helps protect the camera screen even more when the bag is closed.)

4)Has a strong handle on top to carry or a an excellent over the shoulder adjustable strap that is easy to put on the bag but difficult to get off -which is good. You are not going to drop your bag due to the strap coming loose.

5) The bag is just the right size. I would not get the smaller one. This one has some growing room. Could fit another zoom or two, maybe a flash.

6) PLENTY of pockets, everywhere for memory cards (2 specifically padded for the cards)or whatever.

7) I even like the color.

My D90 with the lens hood on fits lens down into it perfectly with pads on each side and room on both sides for more. I believe it would work with the 70-300mm and the 18-200VR lens (on the camera).

I read a lot of reviews and looked at a lot of bags online. It was when I got the bag ,put the camera in and really looked it that I realized how great it is. There were no reviews yet but I could not be happier with this choice.

Hope this helps my fellow obsessive researchers make a decision.

Previously, I had purchased the Lowepro Slingshot 200, thinking that it would be practical in its unique way of accessing equipment in a hurry. After auditioning it with all my equipment, I realized that there was no way that I would, or want to grow into the leftover space inside that huge camera bag. So, I returned it to the store. While researching camera bags further, I came across the Nova 180 AW. Knowing that I'd be satisfied with the quality from seeing other Lowepro bags, it was only the size that I was concerned about. Before I ordered this bag from Beach Camera through Amazon, I went to the local store to see the smaller, Nova 170 AW model to see how it looked for sizing. Although the 170 model is not actually very much smaller than the 180, it only would hold just my camera with lens attached, a second lens and one flash unit. After trying all my equipment in the bigger 180 model, I see that it fits my equipment (Nikon D80 w/70-300mm lens attached; a 28-80mm lens; 2 separate flash units -Sb600 & sdx50) and with room to spare for 2 other lenses or flash units. I believe that I could reconfigure the dividers to hold 2 DSLR's with lenses attached, plus 2 flash units or lenses. There are lots of pockets on the outside and an all weather cover which means a lot to me as I enjoy nature photography. The pockets inside the top lid hold lens filters nicely, and the smaller 2 pockets for SD cards is a very appreciated touch. I tried on the bag with all my gear inside to see how heavy it would be. Not bad, actually, and quite comfortable to wear on account of the padded strap. Prior to this whole 'camera bag hunting expedition' I used the Tamrac Expedition III backpack. It was a tad too small and was very inconvenient for getting at the camera in a hurry as I had to remove it completely and find a place to set it down flat in order to take anything out (otherwise, contents would just fall out of the bag once you'd unzip it, if it was upright). The Nova 180 carries like a purse, is accessable like a purse, is comfortable whether wearing the strap diagonally across chest or on one shoulder. I was concerned about its boxy appearance and how it would effect the wearability, but it doesn't feel cumbersome at all. This bag is going on a trip with me and I'll carry it on the plane. It crossed my mind that this bag screams 'camera bag' and I might be targeted by thieves, but I think wearing it across my chest will keep it pretty secure. The bag and I are both pretty sturdy, so we'd endure the struggle, no worries;-)I agree with the previous reviewer on this bag, particularly to get this size rather than the 170. The small difference in dimensions ends up being a big difference somehow, in terms of capacity.

Best Deals for Lowepro Nova 180 AW Camera Bag - Chestnut Brown

This is a great bag for someone looking for a good carry-all and storage solution for a medium size DSLR with extras. This bag is large enough for me to carry *all* my camera equipment with me. It has room for my Canon 60D with EF-S 18-135mm lens attached its the perfect height for lens-down storage, and the body fits across the width or length depending on configuration. Plus it fits an additional lens, external flash, battery charger, etc. It has enough space if I decide to buy another lens or two, or if I carry a charger for rechargeable AA batteries (for the flash). The pocket on the exterior flap is good for lens caps or filters, and the exterior pocket can hold batteries, cables, you name it. While it has a good amount of storage, I think it's a bit too bulky for regularly carrying around while shooting I'd get something smaller and more basic that can carry just the camera with lens attached and maybe an extra battery.

The bag feels solidly constructed/stitched, nice zippers, and it's fairly rigid it will maintain its boxy shape even when empty. It comes with two large (~6" wide) dividers (with floppy tops) to be used across the width, three narrow (~3" wide) dividers to span between the large dividers, and one half-height divider to create a small compartment (e.g. for a 50mm prime). All the dividers are padded and have full-length velcro along the edges. The top of the bag features a nice sturdy lip that keeps the interior fairly protected when the top is latched but not zippered this is a feature I like and it is present on Lowepro and some other brands, but not all. The lip will keep the bag fully closed when carried by the shoulder strap, and somewhat closed when carried by the handle. The front buckle can be cinched tight. The shoulder strap is very adjustable, and the pad features a surface that is neither slippery nor rubbery/ultra-grippy, which I think is a good compromise. The buckles are metal ans seem strong enough.

When wearing the bag, the top flips toward the user's body (opening facing away) and can be flipped completely down against the body for access to the interior [for an example that opens towards the user (top flips away) see M-ROCK Glacier Bay 661 Digital SLR Camera Cases (Black) ]. The two 'water bottle holders' on the sides are elastic but I'm not sure that anything would fit securely there. As for the all-weather cover...it's stitched into the seam of the front pocket and although it folds up compactly in a dedicated compartment, it can't be removed without cutting it off.

As another reviewer mentions, the Chestnut Brown color is hard to describe (it's actually two tone) but I find it to be a nice change from ubiquitous black luggage and gear cases. As far as the style...well it is obviously a camera/camcorder case. I had been searching for a bag that looked more subtle, like a generic messenger bag or shoulder bag, but none of the ones I found featured zippered tops something I deem as essential for travel. I sacrificed some style for a lot of functionality and so far I don't regret it.

Honest reviews on Lowepro Nova 180 AW Camera Bag - Chestnut Brown

I am a new photography student so everything is a new experience. We were told to make sure we get a bag with lots of padding and Lowepro was a suggested brand offering those features. My bag holds a my big camera, a 50mm and short zoom lens, an SB600 flash, card reader, lens cleaner, eye glasses, eight batteries in holders, several cards, and the owners manuals for the camera and flash. There are two little side pockets for cell phone and chewing gum. This bag seems to be the right size for storing everything. To other newbees, as the collection of photographic equipment grows over time, another bag might be needed. However, it was recommended that the photographer take only what is needed for the intended photographic excursion. So, this bag will serve me for a very long time because it is the right size for me to travel with.

The handsome bag is muted in color and offers custom interior configurations for your stuff. The zippers are well constructed and offer easy in and out of the compartments. The handle is well padded and large enough to accomodate even large hands. The shoulder strap is wide with extra padding providing comfort when toted in that way. Although I had not shopped much for bags outside of the internet, it is sturdy and comfortable. I read in previous postings that the hardware on this bag were well made. Although I have not thought to examine the hardware, it seems to fit the calibur of the bag. For me, it is not too big and not too small and offers portability, organization, and protection of my little collection of stuff.

I have two other Lowepro bags that are extremely well made. I purchased them about three years ago. I was shocked to see how much their quality has gone downhill. The canvas used was thin and stiff. The seams are not all double stitched and the cording they used to use around the seams doesn't exist any longer. Also, the plastic clamps are much less heavy duty and don't appear they will stand up as well over time. I have loved all of my old bags by Lowepro, but I purchased another camera and needed a larger case. I am so disappointed and will be returning this bag and going to the local camera store to check out some other brands before I purchase my next bag. As far as the size, there is no way this holds a DSLR and 4-5 lenses. I have a Canon 5D Mark II with the Canon 24mm-105mm lens. I also carry my 85mm lens. With these two items in the bag, most space is taken up. You would have to have extremely small lenses to have it hold 4 to 5 lenses.

After hunting and hunting for a neat little camera case that would fit my Lumix I finally found this one. I looked at the listing for the dimensions of the Canon PowerShot SD3500IS 14.1 MP Digital Camera and noticed that it was slightly larger than my little Panasonic one. Figured it would fit based on that and I was right. Not sure if it'll fit all the Lumix model line of cameras but it works for the FH2 perfectly.

I agree with the first reviewer on the quality of the case. It's compact but very sturdy. It's one of those EVA molded ones with a textured covering of either woven polyester or nylon. Kind of like backpack material. Makes it extra scuff resistant as opposed to uncovered EVA ones. It has one small pocket inside. With the camera inserted I couldn't quite get my spare battery in there at the same time. My extra memory card (in a tiny protective SD card case) fit ok however. You could probably squeeze about 2 in the pocket.

Further unimportant info:

I'd gotten the red camera ('cause it was on sale cheaper than the other colours) and wanted a reddish case. They really look great when put together! Here's the link for the Lumix if you want to see how well they match: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH2 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom with 2.7-Inch LCD (Red) It's really a teriffic point and shooter btw. I'll review that some other time.

I looked all over for a flip case like this for our DCS-H70.

There are a ton of cases that say that they fit this camera but most do not.

This is the case this model of Cybershot is designed to use.

The case opens and shuts perfectly with no fuss. Why anyone one would want a case with a zipper is beyond me.

My only complaint is that there are only 2 colors to choose from.

In June i was looking for float strap to use with digital camera, I had for my trip to the Dominican Republic in the same month.

This float strap was the perfect one for me, but at first i was hesitant about purchasing this particular float strap. Because of the good reviews and some of the mixed reviews as well, I but I took a chance on it anyway.

It did everything that I needed ti do, while i was on vacation in the Dominican Republic. I knew that i was going to be in the pool a lot and out in the ocean, if it were being at the resort or out on an excursion. Their wasn't anything that I didn't like at all about this product, because it did everything i needed it to do. It fit around my wrist really well, it wasn't too bulky for me, and it didn't slide too much around my wrist. I have rather large wrist so it accommodated me very well. I'd recommend this product to anyone.

I was using my Tamrac 5627 Pro 7 Digital Zoom Camera Bag (Black) to carry my D-SLR and 18-70 mm lens. I recently purchased an 80-200 mm lens. And I needed a way to carry it with the camera bag during shoots.

I bought the MX5437 for 3 reasons to use for storing the 80-200 mm lens, as a protective casing and to attach it to my Tamrac bag through the Modular.Accessory.System.(M.A.S) so I can carry it around with me.

This Lens case protects the lens well, has more than adequate padding inside and attaches securely and easily to a Tamrac bag through the M.A.S.slot. For 25 dollars it seems to do the job well as a value for money product.

However, I haven't tested it's water proof capabilities and do not plan to.

Honest reviews on Tamrac MX5341 M.A.S. Pro 50 Lens Case, fits up to 5.5" lenses

After using this for a couple of months, here are my general feedback:

Pro:

1. Solid and durable material. very well made.

2. Light weight!

3. Well fit and good depth for 70-200 f2.8 lens

Could-have-been-better

1. A shoulder belt option to give flexibility over just on the waist belt

2. Design: Slightly increase in diameter (say 5mm) would be nice, so that it is not too tight to squeeze in the 70-200, when the tripod ring AND quick release plate are attached. It's harder to retrieve the lens with top-opening when the lens is squeezed in.

This case is the ideal size for the Sony 16-35mm f/2.8, 24-70mm f/2.8 or 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 lens. With a pair of these cases attached to the Tamrac 517 Tele-Zoom Pack (Black), I can carry a Sony A900 camera and all three lenses in a reasonably compact manner. However, I wouldn't want to hike much with this combination because it is a bit heavy to carry using one shoulder strap. For hiking, I recommend a backpack such as the Kata KT D-3N1-30 Sling/Backpack (Black).

This is an excellent bag pack for my needs. (taking nature photos on a casual basis)

Very clever design of putting two zipper positions one for quick grab of your camera at top & one that goes "all the way around" for accessing other lenses & manuals.

Either ways, I am sure that pick-pocketer of the world would have a hard time with it. XD

Camera compartment is on top and a little bit tight for DSLR camera, but you don't want there to be loose & things bounce around anyway. Tons & tons of pockets, sometime I lose where I put things!

This is not just a cheap bag, it's really well designed & proportioned as a camera backpack, unless you are going up to the Himalayan or something...

Again, this is NOT the only backpack you would bring to climb up the mountain, but you can still carry some emergency power bars & a bottle of water, etc. Usually, I carry the heavy load, & my wife would carry this. Since I take the pictures, it's perfect anyway!!

One minor point was that it came with unbearable moldy smell (damp storage facility?,) but after putting it out on the sun for a few days, it quickly went away...

Whether you are an active person or not, I recommend this school backpack-type camera bag, especially it doesn't really "scream out" that I am carrying 1000+ dollars worth of equipment.

Trust me, it's a good thing when you are out in the cruel world...

I bought this bag after reading and watching several reviews and thought it would be perfect for my few camera items. I own the Canon T3i with the optional battery pack on the bottom, one additional lens, and a flash unit. They didn't fit and the bag was bulkier than I thought it would be for a messenger style. If I removed the optional battery pack it would have made getting the camera in and out easier, but I prefer to keep the battery attached at all times. I considered exchanging it for the 7 Million Dollar, but then it would have been even larger & heavier to carry. I am taking a trip to Africa, where I will have to carry the camera bag at all times, so I ended up borrowing a small Lowepro backpack that fits everything very well and compactly. If you're looking for style over function, then this is it! I hated that it didn't work because I loved the look of it, but the weight and convenience just couldn't suit my needs.

The bag does feel a little bulky, but I do not know how it wouldn't with everything I can fit in it. There are many options to customize how you want to store your camera and lenses. The quality on this bag is great, I am sure it will hold up for years to come!

This bag definitely keeps my camera safe. I have a Nikon D90 that fits nicely and still has room for my film camera, film and manuals. It is a little bulky to carry everywhere but I will no longer break my lenses!
