I like the case because it is hard and will protect the camera, also it has Velcro inside to protect the camera and a place for the extra battery.

I bought three of these cases for various cameras that my wife and I own. The halves are nice and solid, which is something I was looking for since most soft cases can be smooshed quite easily and not protect the contents at all. The inside has a velcro strap on one side and a mesh pocket on the other. The strap holds the contents in place so it doesn't slide around in while closed. The mesh pocket can hold small items like memory cards, headphones or spare batteries. The case also comes with a small carabiner that attaches to a loop on the outside, I don't use it, but it's nice to have the option. The zipper feels sturdy and has two slides to open and close and the tabs are long and easy to pull. Overall, I like this case and for the price it is a great value.

I like the semi hard case but not the cheap velcro straps that you have to use to store your camera safely in this thing. A simple pocket would have been a nicer solution but it'll do for now..... at least it was cheap!

I chose 5 stars because it is perfect for my Canon SX500. Right size and all the little pockets are perfect for extra memory cards, battery or whatever. Everything fits without the case being too bulky or heavy. This case is a winner on all levels.

The bag is just adequate not too big, nor too small. I can keep a DSLR body with a lens, and there is still some space to keep the point & shoot camera. The side pockets can keep battery charger for both cameras if I am going out on a long trip. It is also sturdy and I like the color.

Best Deals for Evecase Black/Grey Medium SLR Camera Travel Case/Bag with Strap

This Evecase camera bag is functional with small and big interior and exterior pockets to hold memory cards and cables. There is also an adjustable velcro divider inside to make your camera fit and stay protected, accordingly. It's a nice camera bag, but it might not be useful for your DSLR and lens (my Fujifilm FinePix S700 and Canon Powershot SD1000 fits with the divider included).

After much thought, I decided to get a sling-type bag, as a backpack would be too difficult to access on the run, and in my experience a traditional (boxy) camera bag is a pain to carry around.

I have an EOS 20D with the 17-85mm zoom, and it fits beautifully in the main compartment with sufficient room for another lens and a flash or for two lenses. Then there's an upper compartment where I keep my battery charger, cables and other assorted stuff, and a filter pocket in the front.

Some nice details that really stand out to me:

The hidden all-weather cover that stows away in a flat Velcro-ed pocket to the base of the bag is invisible until you pull it out for use: so much so that one reviewer didn't even realise it is there!

The back is very well padded.

The zips are very high quality, and silent when in use. When they are closed the zips themselves are not visible, instead you have a neat covered `bead' for the length of the opening.

The main compartment flap opens fully, giving unrestricted access.

There are two nylon webbing straps with quick-release clips to that ensure that when the bag is on your front, there is no chance that the flap will accidentally open due to the weight of the camera, even is the zips are half opened. This is hard to describe accurately, but trust methere'll be no nasty surprises if these clips are in place.

When in shooting position, the bag presents an excellent platform for your elbows, greatly enhancing the steadiness of your shot.

There's a built-in microfibre cloth that protects your LCD screen whilst the camera is in the bag, and may well be used as a lenscloth.

When you want to get moving, there's a second smaller strap that attaches easily to the main strap so that the bag really stays put on your back, even when hunched over on a bike.

This is beautifully made and intelligently designed bag that will likely last for years. I can't recommend it highly enough.

UPDATE: Have gotten the 70-300 IS (non-DO) canon zoom and the SlingShot 100 will not fit this lens whilst it's attached to the body without distortion of the closure flap it does however fit the 20D body with a 17-85 mounted on it whilst the 70-300 is in the left compartment and the 70-300's large lens hood stored either on the lens in reverse, or in the right compartment, so I'm still happy with it.

UPDATE 2: Alexander asked me is the Slingshot would work on one shoulder: i.e. not over your head and across your chest. The answer is yes and no: you can certainly sling it over one shoulder, but due to the angle it was designed to work at the strap does not 'sit' as well on one side, so if you choose to carry it like this, you'll have to hold on to the bag a bit. Having said this, I use it on one shoulder far more than slung across my chest, so let that be your guide.

Bought my Lowepro Slingshot 100 AW bag off of Amazon Lightning Deals a few days ago. Although the reviews and description were very helpful to me I was still a little hesitant in not knowing if all my equipment would fit and how sturdy or well padded the bag was. Decided to try a video review (which I hope you find helpful) to walk you through the ins and outs of this camera bag as I was pleasantly surprised all the way around!

Best Deals for Lowepro SlingShot 100 All-Weather Digital Camera Backpack - Black

Lowe has done it again. I own 2 other Lowe bags (one being my expedition backpack for camping and a computrekker). I swear by their design innovation and attention to using professional grade materials.

I use the SlingShot 100 AW everyday. Photo ops come up at any second. You have to be ready and the SlingShot allows you to be there. It comfortably holds my DSLR Rebel XT, 430EX flash, 5 memory cards, cables, power adapter, 24mm lens, 85mm lens, 100mm macro lens and the attached 18-55mm lens.

The INGENIOUS sling design is easy to use. Simply rotate unzip the main compartment (everything stays in because the closeable buckles prohibit you from opening it up too far) and easily lift the camera out in shooting position.

While the camera is out, the bag hangs comfortable around the front and I use it to rest my elbow on while shooting (an added bonus! stability).

The stabilizing strap can be hidden away, very NICE touch. And easily pulled out when needed.

The all-weather (AW) hidden cover comes out and protects in a downpour. Another great idea.

The microfiber LCD protector, numerous pockets are added bonuses, but the TRUE BEAUTY OF THIS BAG is that it allows QUICK, EASY AND SECURE motion from storage to shoot.

I got the 100 because I'm smaller and prefer a smaller bag. If I need to absolutely carry more lenses and gear, I'll most likely be going somewhere where I'm going to be stationary so I'll use my Lowe computrekker.

But as for being in the field, and being ready at moments notice...the SlingShot is it.

UPDATE JULY 2008:

=================

I sold this bag. Not because it was bad--I got more stuff and bought the next size up! I own the Slingshot 200 now and it is just as versatile, convenient and durable. LoweProducts are the way to go.

Honest reviews on Lowepro SlingShot 100 All-Weather Digital Camera Backpack - Black

Contrary to the previous reviewer's comments, the all-weather sleeve that did not "come with the bag" is attached to the bottom of the bag -there's no way that it did not come with the bag as the previous author writes. It is a very well-padded compact bag, and has enough room for a dSLR with lens attached (I have an EOS Digital Rebel XT) and room for two additional lenses (one shorter-length prime lens and maybe one standard telephoto zoom). Additionally, it's easy to quickly remove the camera from the bag because the zippers are on the side of the sling, allowing you quickly swing the bag to the front of your body, open the bag, and grab your camera. Removeable padded areas attached via Velcro allow for personal customization of the bag to better fit your equipment needs. This bag gets a favorable mention in my book.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Lowepro SlingShot 100 All-Weather Digital Camera Backpack - Black

In classic western films, a lone hero pulls out a gun in a split second and then... bang bang bang! LowePro's SlingShot AW series allows you to pull out your camera ready for shooting in just few seconds. Designed for quick and easy access, it has a single diagonal strap that lets you rotate the bag from your back to the front. Two zippers open the left side revealing a well protected DSLR camera body ready for action.

Sometimes you need a bag that can hold all your gears, such as primary DSLR body, backup DSLR body, notebook computer, several lenses (walkaround, telephoto, wide angle, etc.), filters, several memory cards, iPod, chargers, extra batteries, battery grip, and so on. And there are times when you need a smaller bag like the Slingshot 100. It is just large enough to hold Canon Digital Rebel XTi with EF 17-40mm f/4L USM, EF 50mm f/1.4 USM, extra battery, battery charger (with international power adapter if traveling overseas), a couple of extra CompactFlash memory cards, and 3 lens filters. And there's enough room for either Sony DCR-HC42 MiniDV camcorder, a couple of MiniDV blanks, and camcorder charger OR iPod with camera connector and iPod charger. Missing in action is EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM telephoto lens.

It has 5 areas:

1. Primary area for the camera and lenses. It includes 3 Velcro partitions that can be rearranged to snugly hold the camera body and lenses.

2. The area where camera's LCD meets is a pouch that can hold several memory cards and is specially engineered to protect the LCD.

3. Top portion can hold items such as compact camcorder, compact point and shoot camera, or iPod, along with their charger and cables. Or perhaps some snacks.

4. Front pouch can hold additional memory cards, blank MiniDV tapes, extra batteries, and other smaller accessories.

5. Hidden inside the bottom zipper is the "all weather" cover (umbrella like fabric) that can cover the entire bag.

This bag is just large enough to carry my most frequently used gears and small enough to be taken anywhere.

Pros:

Well made, weather resistant, stylish.

Cleverly designed for quick access.

Enough padding to protect your gears.

Just large enough for my commonly used gears.

Integrated water proof cover.

Cons:

Will not accommodate longer telephoto lens.

Side pouch for a water bottle would've been nice.

I am an international traveler that hates to just throw my camera in a pocket and hope it survives my trip. I am also very picky about my camera case. This case is perfect! It holds my camera tight and protects the front and back. I was surprised how well the neoprene protects the front of my camera despite the neoprene being soft. The back is nice and solid so I don't have to worry about my screen getting cracked. The top flips open quickly and I can get my camera out fast enough for those spontaneous shots. I love the pocket created between the hard back and outer layer of neoprene, it's great for extra cards and batteries. It holds them tight enough that you don't have to worry about them falling out but not so tight you have to work to get them out. Wish I had discovered this years ago!

This case is very well manufactured and my Lumix fit inside perfectly. The features that I value most is the fact that the sides zip well away from each other leaving me plenty of room to remove my camera without scratching either the LCD screen or the front of the camera and the second feature is the pocket that the camera slips into no danger of dropping your camera while opening it (even in a hurry). I highly recommend this case.

I purchased this for my Lumix ZS20 because I wanted a sturdy, hard shelled case that would completely enclose my camera and keep out dust and lint from the camera being constantly carried in a purse or backpack. This definitely does the job. My first attempt to store my camera in it failed as it initially seemed just a bit too small to zip around the camera. However, when I turned the camera so that the thicker, wrist-strap end pointed down and the thinner end was at the top of the case, the case zipped snugly and fit well. It seems like a good quality case, I'm very pleased!

Best Deals for Durable Hardshell Compact Camera Case for Panasonic Lumix DMC SZ5

I love this case! I recently destroyed the screen on my point and shoot and was so upset about it. If I had been using this case it wouldn't have happened. I keep my new camera in this 24/7 and it's perfect! I have dropped it a couple of times (as I am prone to do) and it's kept everything safe and sound. I also love the carabiner on the end so you can attach it to your purse or a pant loop. Well worth the money!!!

UPDATE AS OF 1/9/11:

This bag is still doing wonderful, but I thought I should update you guys on the gear it is holding. Currently, it is holding my Canon Rebel XTi (w/ battery grip), Canon EF 70-300mm USM, Canon EF-S 55-250mm IS, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8, Canon EF 28-80mm, and Canon EF-S 18-55mm. As well, it is holding my Canon ZR930 MiniDV camcorder, Canon Rebel 2000 film SLR, filters, pouch of accesories such as chargers, memory card reader, etc, and a few little items. This bag seems to hold whatever you throw at it! Still a 5 star bag!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I added a video to this review to show the amounts of gear able to be stored in this bag.

I have been looking to purchase a camera backpack for my SLRs, lenses, and other accessories, and I had narrowed it down to the Canon 200EG backpack. I loved the compact size to the bag, but the large area inside for about two bodies (a must) as well as excess room for lenses. I tried the bag out at Best Buy, and I was about ready to purchase it on Amazon, until this bag came up as a recommended choice. It looks identical to the Canon, but without the giant 'steal me' Canon logo. Reviews for this bag backed up my choice, so I figured I would try this baby out, and if I din't like it, just return it for the Canon.

Little did I know, this bag exceeded my expectations with features much better than the 200EG. For one, the extra padding on the shoulder straps. You also get a belt strap to support your back with heavy gear. I'm about 5'3" and the bag fits snug and comfortably.

The exterior is made of a durable material, which should hold up against rain. The interior is padded very nicely to secure your gear in the bumpiest of my bike rides, which is nice. The zippers are sturdy, although I wish they were easier to put a lock onto. Lets talk about what this bad boy can hold. I am able to fit my DSLR Canon Rebel XTi (w/ battery grip) in the main slot, my film Rebel 2000 infront of the XTi, my PowerShot P&S, my MiniDV camcorder, 75-300mm telephoto lens, 28-80mm walk-around lens, and 18-55mm kit lens, with room to spare! In the meantime, I keep my chargers, minidv tapes, and remotes in the open spot. That is until I invest in a flash unit. If you pack everything right, you can easily pack three SLR bodies, three lenses, a P&S, and other gear in the bag. The top mounted pockets is home to my filters, memory cards, cables, and cloths. The side of the bag can hold a tripod safe and securely. You can also find spots for a phone, or even fit a small notebook pc (more likely a netbook) in the main pocket. Which is nice considering there is no laptop slot.

All in all, this bag is highly recommended in my opinion. Keep it in mind in your searches, and don't click away because it is Amazon branded. It's higher quality than my old Lowepro!

Here is a video review of the Amazon Basics SLR backpack.

I really like it. It seems durable, it's relatively comfortable, and most importantly... it can hold a lot of stuff!

I say it's great value for money.

Best Deals for AmazonBasics Backpack for SLR Cameras and Accessories-Black

I have been using the Canon 200EG backpack camera case since about 2007, and love it. Correction: loved it. I think, on my short sample, that I prefer the Amazon.

The outer size is nearly identical, although the Amazon seems a bit larger only because its squared profile is harder / less collapsible than the Canon. The interior size is nearly identical, and is laid out identically. The small touches definitely favour the Amazon -the inner zip compartments [perfect size for SD cards, lens cleaning pens, small manuals, tripod quick mounts, etc.] have a flap covering the zipper, which protects your expensive glass and camera bodies. The foam "foundations" for the velcro-ed compartments are firmer and a bit more sturdy [and padded] in the Amazon. As others have noted in reviews, the shoulder strap is better-padded on the Amazon, and there is a belt cinch for ease and a healthier walk when the sucker is weighed down. Not much difference, but a slight edge to the Amazon. Add in the price (and no "Canon" magnet for thieves), and the Amazon comes out ahead.

Make no mistake -this thing will hold a LOT of gear. In the Canon, I took to Paris two Nikon DSLR bodies, an 80-200 pre-DSLR 2.8 constant zoom (big!), a 50 1.4, an 85 1.8, and a 20 2.8, SB-600 flash, along with table-top tripod, large air cleaning syringe, and assorted. Cramped, but do-able. And I've since put the same rig in the Amazon (but without traveling).

Finally -I also have Tamrac backpacks, as well as a Crumpler 8 Million Dollar Home Case (Blue/Orange) MD0810A. [what can I say -I'm a bag junkie!!!]. The others were all more expensive, sometimes over a C-Note more expensive. And NO layout is more accessible than this Canon / Amazon full-zip opening backpack. Lay it flat on the ground, and you can grab anything/everything in moment. No digging, no hassle.

Buy this sucker. I got it in a lightning deal, but the normal Amazon price is still a great one.

And no -I don't object to the Amazon zippers. . . . .

Honest reviews on AmazonBasics Backpack for SLR Cameras and Accessories-Black

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This camera backpack can easily hold 2 full-size DSLR cameras and a few extra lenses, or even some point & shoot cameras all in the same case. A mini tripod will definitely fit inside, not sure about a full-size tripod since I don't own one (if they fold up you may be able to). Whatever you want this case to be for your particular needs, it can morph into it.

The main section of the backpack is configured into 9 separate compartments. However these compartments (slightly padded BTW) are fastened with Velcro, so you can configure the interior of the backpack into anything that you would need it for. You can even remove all the compartments if you want and use it as a regular backpack. Inside the "lid" are two separate see-though plastic zippered compartments as well.

As far as the exterior of the backpack, each side as two Velcro-closure pockets with flaps, which measure approx. 4.5" by 4" wide. The outside top (lid) has 2 huge zippered pockets, there is TONS of storage areas with this case/backpack.

The underneath part of the backpack which would come in contact with your back is made of mesh to keep you a little cooler while hauling it around. The straps are lightly padded and adjustable. It was comfortable for me (I am 5' 4"), but I doubt if it would fit well for anyone over 200 lbs.

As a whole, the backpack is lightly padded with a somewhat soft tricot lining. The exterior is nylon and is easily cleaned with a wet cloth. There is a handle on top if you don't want to use carry it as a backpack, which I do, since I don't think backpacks are all that comfortable no matter how padded the straps are.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for AmazonBasics Backpack for SLR Cameras and Accessories-Black

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Depending on what you're looking for in a backpack, this can be a very helpful addition to your trip, wedding, or whatever event you'll be carrying gadgets to! It's got a main pocket that would fit a small lap top, and the back pocket has nine different padded compartments that can store whatever you need. The backpack is rigid and light, so it wouldn't be cumbersome to carry at all (it's also small). The coolest thing about this backpack is that you can pull out the individual compartments via velcro lining. You can also adjust the compartments in order to make them the size that you want.

The only drawback to this pack is the shoulder straps are extremely small, so for any adult of an average size it's going to be tough squeezing your shoulders through the straps. The straps are adjustable, but it would still be a challenge to put this over your back (I'm 6'3" with broad shoulders, and I can barely even get through ONE strap!).

This is a quality pack, though. If you're looking for something cheap to hold your cameras, iPods, GPS units, or whatever, this pack would be a good investment.

This lil guy is pretty snazzy !!! I was pleasantly supprised when I got it(fast shipping). It feels pretty solid but I DO worry about the rivets(kinda chinsey) and don't know how long they will hold.

The inside is nice but I noticed the rubber grooved liner WAS NOT installed correctly and doesn't line up precisely with the included spacer bars.Bummer. So i simply won't use those parts, not to big of a deal.

I will update as I use it more. Thus the 3 stars SO FAR.

Thanks,Mako/

Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

This bag is large, spacious, and holds tons of gear. It is well made and the little dividers that "snug" your lenses work great almost too well at times. My only complaints: the square shaped compartments make it a little harder at times to zip/unzip them one handed. The "snug" dividers don't allow any room to get your hands in to pull the lens out when it's a small lens like a 50mm. So you need to leave a little room. Make sure you take the time to adjust the straps so that the waist belt rest on your hips. The bag will ride a little lower on your back, but this is most comfortable. I just spent about 4 hours hiking sand dunes with all my camera gear and my tripod attached. It was heavy and it hurt for the first hour. But once I adjusted the straps, it was comfortable for the rest of the day. I'm 5'11" and 175 pounds and i had to have the shoulder straps on the largest/tallest setting to get the waist belt on my hips, so it may not be a good bag for taller people otherwise it'll go right across your fat gut.

Ok, I picked up this bag on Amazon for a great deal. I like a lot of things about this bag, and I think there are a few things missing as well.

First off, Clik Elite seams to cater to the outdoor/adventure crowd more than the production photographer. What that means is that there is an emphasis on comfort and light weight, not just protection. This bag has thinner padding than products from Lowepro or Thinktank, I think Clik Elite is using the same dividers as Crumpler, they are thin, but they offer pretty good protection and they stay in place really well. The straps are also kind of thin compared to Lowepro and others. Hardware and zippers are slightly lighter duty then comparable bags. If you are looking for a bag that can be handled carelessly, this may not be it.

Now that my few gripes are out of the way, we can get to the good parts, and there are many. Overall, the bag is very well constructed, don't let my above comments scare you off, this bag will last a long time if you handle it well. Though the construction is lighter than some other brands, it really suits this bag's intended purpose, this bag is light! Another advantage to this bag is that it will allow you to carry a full compliment of gear and still carry stuff like a laptop, jacket, goggles, extra hat, etc. While many other bags let you carry a combination of photo gear and other stuff, I have not found one that lets you carry so much while maintaining mobility. This pack also has one of the better tripod/lightstand carriers that I have used.

Even fully loaded this pack is easy to move in. The straps and harness will adjust to fit almost any frame, and will keep the bag in place even skiing, or on a snowmobile, etc.

Another feature that I really like is that the inside of the lid has a lip around it that will keep things from rolling off when it's open. This is nice as it gives you a nice clean, dry place to set your camera/lens/strobe while setting up or tearing down in the dirt or snow.

Long story short, if most of your shoots involve moving gear from the car, to the studio, to the park across the street; get a Pelican or Lowepro. But if your work involves packing gear in or out of the field with any regularity, this might be a great bag for you.

Best Deals for Clik Elite Pr Elite Camera Backpack

I got this bag for Christmas. I was looking for a bag that would hold all my gear for travel. I go to malaysia, india and the UK for work and like to bring my gear with, along with laptop. I can easily get my 15" laptop, 7d , canon 50mm, canon 100mm, canon 200mm, tokina 11-16, sigma 28-80 and a tamron 70-300... as well as two speedlites, extra batteries, rocket blower, filters, etc....and still have room in 3 exterior pockets. Its heavy fully loaded, but is very comfortable and fits my frame well. My only knock is that at 6'3", the waste strap goes over my belly button, and not my waste (may just need more adjustments).

The build is solid and straps have multiple adjustments to get the weight comfortably adjusted on your back. There are straps to add a tripod. Im heading to Amsterdam and Delhi this month and ill update on how it makes it through the paces. So far I am very pleased with this bag.

Honest reviews on Clik Elite Pr Elite Camera Backpack

I spent a tone of time researching backpacks for my Canon 60D with battery grip and true there are a tone out there that "could work" However after doing all my research and watching video reviews, I went with this backpack! Before buying this bag I was using a Vanguard Up-rise 43 Zoom Expandable Sling Camera Bag (Black) At the time it was fine because I was using my 60D with a Tamron AF 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD LD Aspherical IF Macro Zoom Lens for Canon DSLR Cameras However once I switched to Canon's L Lens line the Vanguard could no longer hold the camera. So with this new bag, I can fit all my gear and still have tons of room to spare! I have my 60D with battery grip and Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Standard Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras attached with hood on(not reversed!). This was one of the main requirements that I wanted when purchasing a new bag. On the right side I have my second lens, a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras also with the hood on and tripod colar attached! Below that lense I have 2 Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flash for Canon Digital SLR Cameras in the case! The other side of the bag, I have my GF Powersnoot and Lightsphere Collapsable, as well as a rotating flash bracket. There side pocket on the outside of the bag holds all my chargers(4 total) as well as SD cards and extra batteries. I can't say enough about this bag, it's everything I could ask for and more. Keep in mind, this is not a small backpack, it's pretty hefty! Another nice feature this bag offers is the dividers. They mold to your lens so you can customize your bag accordingly and they keep your lens nice and snug during transport. The strapes also make this bag extreme comfy to wear even with all my gear loaded!

Last advice is, watch for deals, I was able to buy the bag for $116! The price changes on amazon frequently so if you want to buy the bag, keep an eye out!

There are a lot of bags out there that cost much more then this one, but offer so much less. If you want a bag that can hold all your pro equipment this is the way to go!

I had been looking for a functional backpack to organize and carry my photo gear for sometime. I did not see Clik products in the local area, but I discovered they had large line of backpacks on Amazon and their website. I took a close look at the Clik Elite CE405BK Elite Pro backpack, which was being offered on Amazon at a good price and it met most of my needs. This backpack was presented as being able to attach a chest pask as well. So, I bought the Clik Elite CE405BK Elite Pro backpack with the intention of adding the chest pack later.

I was finding myself hand carring my camera to take the weight off my neck. The design of the chest pack looked functional and solved many of the problems I was having with carring my camera gear through rough terrain. So, I also bought the Clik Elite CE70BK Probody SLR Chest Pack. The chest pack comes with a harness, but it is designed to fit on a backpack harness as well, which would help balance the weight of your equipment on long trecks. I had bought the Clik Elite CE405BK Elite Pro backpack before I bought the chest pack. The backpack looked like it was designed to support the chest pack, and it was displayed that way on the Internet. However, when I received the chest pack it came with additional velcro supported fittings to add to the backpack harness. The original fittings on the backpack and the chest pack were designed differently and did not fit together. I sent an e-mail inquire to Clik about this problem, and I have not received a reply for over a month. Although the chest pack and the backpack work well as individual items, Clik should have taken more care in designing and presenting them to work together. Clik could also work on their customer service as well. For this reason I cannot give Clik a high rating.

Love this case! PERFECT for my Canon SX50. I took it to Africa with me, and it worked out GREAT! Not too bulky, but camera,

batteries, photo cards fit in perfectly. Nice to open from 2 sides: one for the camera, the other for everything else.

Thank you!

I bought the silver and black version of this "medium" case, and the product description said it was over 7 inches long. What actually arrived was an item barely 4.5 inches in length. I thought they might have sent the "small" version by mistake, but the "small" version even claims a 7 inch length. So there's a foul-up somewhere...so be forewarned.

If fits my Canon SX200 just barely, so no room for anything else. I have to turn it upside down so the lcd's on the right side and the camera cord doesn't get caught in the zipper. Looks like a first aid kit :P

I had ordered different sizes and use them for different things. The small one I use it for my compact Fuji camera and I keep it in my small purse. This medium one I used it as a wallet and credit card holder. I find the size to be perfect and I keep the credit cards that I use the most along with my dollar bills in there. The zipper make it secure yet easy to reach in. This is a replacement of another one I got from a store years before. I like this tremendously especially during my travel TSA doesn't allow more than 2 carry-on items and I have to replace my regular purse with this so I can carry my laptop plus a carry-on luggage.

This case has good internal dimensions for a Garmin GPS Nuvi 295W that has dimensions of 4.4" x 2.3" x .5 inches. It has a good fit length wise and is a little bit wider for some extra room to get it in. It has good protection for the screen and is a great case, especially for the price. Even the Garmin case, which is leather does not completely cover the item, and has no cusioning in case it is dropped. It is not too big, and can be placed in your jacket pocket without being too bulky like most other GPS cases. It is not hard shell, but hard shell cases seem to be much bigger. If you want a case to put the charger cable and other accessories in, this is not the one, but if you just want a small, inexpensive, well built case, then this one is a good choice.

I wear this slung over my shoulder and across my chest when I'm backpacking or skiing. This case has never failed during the 8 years I've used it. The only reason I'm getting rid of it is because I upgraded my camera and it won't fit. But, I'll go looking for another LowePro product to replace it.

The expandable front pocket is what sells this camera pouch. It will fit an extra battery and several SD cards for your compact PowerShot or similar compact camera.

Just don't expose the pouch to heavy rain. The water will penetrate the zipper of the main compartment and gaps of the front pouch.

This case is great in an appliance type of way. It would be hard to be in love with it, but it is a good case, and has been quite durable.
