This provides your camera with protection from scratches and minor bumps. Not too much padding, but doesn't add much bulk either.

The Panasonic Lumix LX3 just fits with a little bit of wiggle room. I like the fairly compact size of the LX3, and didn't want a case that made it something large to carry. The attachment clip is a handy addition.

I bought this pouch about 6 months ago to store my Olympus XZ-1 camera in.

Overall, the pouch is not bad. Good quality materials and craftsmanship. The magnetic closure is pretty neat too, and works well. It also comes with a clip to hang it on a belt or a packpack.

However, it only provides limited protection for a camera. It will protect the camera from slight bumps and scratches while it is stored in a backpack or something, but I would not trust this pouch to protect my camera from a drop on the floor or any hard surface.

Overall, it is a neat pouch, but I would not buy it again to store my camera, I would look for something sturdier.

Pros:

Good quality materials and craftsmanship

Magnetic closure is very convenient

Comes with clip

Does not add too much bulk to your device.

Cons:

Feels like it does not provide enough protection or cushioning, which is why you need a pouch or camera bag in the first place, right?

Best Deals for Tasca 30 Camera Pouch by Lowepro

The Tasca 30 is great for point and shoot cameras that are too large to fit in your pocket and when you don't want to carry a camera in a case with a strap. Just attach it to the belt loop of your pants.

The downside is that the magnets that keep the pouch closed tend to shift around and need to be repositioned often.

Honest reviews on Tasca 30 Camera Pouch by Lowepro

This is one of the best little pouches I have ever owned. Containing no complicated closures or zippers, accessability due to its magnetic closure is very simple. It also boasts a very handy clip. I use the pouch for my compact video camera and keep it clipped to my handbag or backpack for easy access when traveling. I love mine so much that I purchased this one for my son to use for his camera. He loves it too!

I have used this case for over a year now and I love it. Not too bulky yet provides the needed protection. I often attach to my short by the carabiner and hardly know my camera is there. Very cool. I have a slighly larger point and shoot panasonic lumix with a wide angle lens.

the product itself is very good, the problem to me is that fingerprints get in the way when you are covering your ipod. but that just probably my fault. any way its a really good protector!

I used this on an Ipod Nano. It's not super easy to put on, but if you follow the directions it's not real hard either. You just have to be a little careful, and once it's on it works great, very tuff material.

I got this product at the local Best Buy after the sales associate raved about it.

I am very dissatisfied with this product. It is not at all as easy to install as they make it seem and it actually doesn't even cover the "full body". When I read full body, I am expecting NO GAPS.

I am irritated I wasted the money and next time I will be more weary about products like this.

I am assuming this product is best for flat/button free products like the iPod touch.

ZAGG should offer a money back guarantee but then they probably wouldn't make much money.

Honest reviews on Zagg CANPSA480S invisibleSHIELD Case for Canon Powershot A480

I think the film will provide excellent scratch protection. It was tricky to apply the film so that it met properly in the back and either the sponge or the cleaning cloth left a few little black specks under the film that I could not remove with more solution. Not a huge deal but I think sticking with the spray bottle to apply the solution would be better.

Another note. I found that the shield made my nano fit VERY tightly in the iPod hub for my home theater. I ended up removing the bottom 1/4", which is tough to do while it's on the iPod. If you use your iPod with an alarm clock or external speaker setup with a hub, you may want to cut the bottom of the film off before you apply it.

I've always had leather flip cases before, but since the ipod nano 5g has the camera and mic on the back, I needed something that would protect while still leaving those exposed. Also it would have been a shame to cover the pretty color of the ipod with a leather case! The invisibleshield truly is invisible, and though I've only had it for two weeks, it seems very durable I can just drop my ipod in my purse without a second thought. The invisibleshield also has a slightly grippy feel to it, so it is less likely to slide off a surface or slip from your hand. The cover fits well, though I had a little bit of trouble with the alignment on the back there is a little overlap on the flap that goes over the word 'iPod'. And I had a few microbubbles remain after install which didn't go away. I wouldn't mind them if they were on the body, but they're on the screen and I do notice them when looking at pictures or video. I may end up buying another shield and trying again.

This skin is supposedly custom fit to the optio w30. But it isnt. I had to cut it to fit right, and the indentations for the controls are still not quite in the right place. Frustrating because bythe time I pay shipping to get it and then again to return it, the cost is increased quite a bit, which is why I decided to cut it and be frustrated with it rather than return it.

The picture and the product that you receive are not the same. The packaging states that it is "exclusively for Pentax Optio WP and Option WPi digital Cameras".

Cutouts and buttons do not line up.

I didn't have any of the problems that other reviewers had. The cutouts lined up with the screen and the microphone/speaker, the buttons are useable through the skin, and the power button lined up with the bump in the skin for that.

I did use a scissors to cut a hole in the bottom for the tripod bolt to go through, but other than that, it's plug and play.

I bought this bag for my Fuji FinePix X100's street photography trips. It's light, and less-conspicuous, so definitely won't give out that 'battle photographer' image when using this bag. You also won't have to have your camera dangling in the open on your sides, so it will give you advantages, both in term of safety and 'candidness' of your potential objects.

The sling strap is the true selling point of this bag. It snaps tight to your camera while maintaining complete freedom of movement. The shoulder strap remain still on your shoulder, only the sling strap moves with the camera. You don't even have to use the bag if you don't want to (although it's a very good protection against bumps) and just use the straps.

I love this camera bag so much, I definitely recommend it to anyone using a mirror-less camera system. I think this particular model (Black Rapid RPB-3BB Snapr35) is the biggest of the bunch, that will allow (as a size comparison) an X100 with lens hood attached to be stowed inside the bag.

This bag is perfect for my sony RX-1.

There are three compartments. Two on the side for extra memory card and batteries and the one in the middle for the camera.

It fits my Sony Rx1 perfectly (without the evf and lens hood)

Also the way this is designed, the camera will always be connected to the bag all the time (even during shotting( giving you a peace of mind about dropping the camera.

The ballistic nylon is very sturdy material. It's almost in par with tumi ballistic materials, which means its really good.

There is also a rubber padding on the bottom, which gives the bag a grip when placed on a table.

Best Deals for Black Rapid SnapR 35 Bag and Strap

I wouldn't want to put a camera much bigger than the X100 in this, but this is the perfect camera bag for my X100. Try to fit anything larger, and you'll probably come back to Amazon and write negative reviews. :)

Honest reviews on Black Rapid SnapR 35 Bag and Strap

I like this pretty well for my Nikon P7700. It's a bit too roomy but the smaller size was too tight.

It's easy to switch between wearing the bag or just the neck or wrist strap, and I have found all three configurations to be useful. I especially like that the camera attaches at the tripod socket because this means no strap dangling in the way of your flip out screen or getting between your fingers and the controls.

This is a pretty heavy camera, as compacts go, but this outfit feels secure to me. The plastic clips seem really strong and in fact require some effort to get them open, so I can' t imagine them giving way accidentally.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Black Rapid SnapR 35 Bag and Strap

I have the Black Rapid RS-7 for my DSLR and I really like it. I bought the Snapr thinking it would be perfect for my m4/3 camera. But it's not.

First, the bag is useless. If I'm carrying just the camera, then I would just use the strap and not need the bag. (The bag barely accommodates an OM-D with a 20mm lens but nothing additional.) If I was going to carry a bag of any kind or bring anything else beside the camera, I'd need a bigger bag with some ability to keep the lenses separate inside. The quality of construction is pretty high. It's just that the bag proved to be kind of a goofy doohicky I couldn't find a use for. Strike 1.

Strike 2 is that an m4/3 camera is just too small and light for a single-point attachment system (the tripod socket on the bottom). The camera bounces, turns and flops everywhere while I'm walking. I was not able to find any length of strap adjustment that fixed this. And boy did I try. The camera has 2 strap lugs. Using the OEM strap or similar at least gets you a camera that stays put for the most part and lies flat against your body.

And finally strike 3, the plastic quick-release clips just aren't up to snuff. While I didn't have any failures, they feel flimsy. I would rather it have the locking carabiner like the RS-7 has. Sure, the Snapr is made for a smaller camera. But small doesn't mean cheap. If I'm going to dangle $1400 in gear 3 feet off the ground, I want more than 2 $.05 plastic clips protecting my investment.

The shoulder pad was nice. And I like the idea behind the strap. I wanted to like the whole thing but ultimately it just didn't work for me. It's going back.

Sony LCS-HB Soft Textile Carrying Case for Sony DSC-H7/H9 Digital Still Cameras

This is a very nice carrying case. Other than the regular strap to hang over your shoulder it is also equipped with a velcro closure that you can use for attaching the case onto your belt. Very nice feature it keeps your hands free and you don't have to worry about the case slipping off your shoulders (happens a lot if it's not weighted down).

I did not give it a 5 star rating, because it does not allow for much extra storage. You may store an extra battery in the front pouch but it will not hold anything else. I would like to keep the adapter to recharge the battery in there to keep everything together but it's not big enough for that.

I simply found it too large for DSC H7. You would not like to carry such a huge camera bag either on your shoulder or the belt. A bad design by Sony.

Thankfully, Amazon returned it for free :-)

Besides the goods materials and manufacturing, the case is what I was looking for my trips and trekkings. Usually I don`t like a carry case hanging from my neck all the time; this one alternatively can be used in your belt. It was not easy to find it in Amazon`s pages but finally I made it.

This is by far the best quality and most well thought-out design I have seen to date.

The straps are strong and comfortable, the shell is firm, and the configurations are limitless.

Unfortunately, the bag was too large for my needs. It's more like 22" tall, 12" wide and 11" thick. Not what the product description says. That's no fault of the bag though, it's just not what I need. It's probably about the size of a medium duffel bagin backpack form. If I was pro, and needed a large bag, this would be it for sure.

UPDATE 2/14/2012

I've upgraded to 5 stars. Maybe I've just gotten used to the bag, maybe it's stretched a bit; for whatever reason the camera seems to fit better. The bag has been used a lot and is holding up great. I was going to change the strap but I've decided it's not an issue.

I ended up liking this so much I bought another one for my FZ150. Plenty of room for that camera plus a lot of other stuff!

More good points about the bag:

--In the previous review I neglected to mention that there is also a single non-closure pocket inside the bag, which is convenient to slip in anything from postcards to a small camera manual.

--The strap adjusts easily and has swivel attachements, so it doesn't get all twisted up.

----------------

I'm upgrading this to 4 stars after using it for a couple of days. I've been riding around on a bicycle near the beach, the camera (in the bag) slung across my back, stopping to take pictures as I went. This bag works quite well for this purpose, and I could see it being very handy on a trip or while hiking.

The good:

--Very easy to open the bag and extract the camera (Pentax K-5 with 55-300mm lens attached).

--Snug but not tight fit (for this camera) means no sliding around in the bag.

--Compact size (not, it's not "large") is convenient for putting on a table or chair.

The so-so:

--Single zipper pocket is adequate for filter, small remote, WB balance cap, reading glasses (for reading screen), small notepad & pen (for writing down settings for different shots); not much more. For a casual outing, it's OK.

--Padding is OK, but don't drop it. (But why on earth would you want to? Take care of your gear, and your gear will take care of you.)

The bad:

--Strap is too narrow; OK for short carry but could be uncomfortable for long carry.

--You could carry an extra lens (say, a shorter lens) but it would have to come out of the bag before you could get the camera in or out.

--As mentioned below, the specs are not accurate. This is why I only gave it 3 stars to start with, but that was a reflection of the listing more than of the actual product.

______________

Previous review:

This is an OK bag. But the specs are wrong. If you measure the bag before you unwrap it, you'll find it is definitely not 9" high, but about 8". I bought this bag based on the stated specs and 9" would have been totally adequate. I have Pentax K-r with Pentax 55-300mm zoom attached. It just barely fits in the 8" space; it's actually a tad over 8". The Pentax lenses tend to be fairly compact, so if you are going to have any longer lens on your camera (or if your camera is larger), this is definitely not the bag for you. And if you want to carry an extra lens, don't get this bag.

The zippered compartment on the front of the bag is sufficient to hold a couple of filters, a small remote, an extra battery, and a WB lens cap. Not much more. Bottom line: this bag is adequate for a casual walk-around with one lens and a minimum of accessories.

Measure your gear and go from there.

After reading many reviews, I purchased this bag for my DSLR. The truth is that I am quite disappointed. The bag has no padding, hence no protection for the camera at all. It is cheaply made and it does not even look so good. Just the truth (in my personal opinion!)

Best Deals for ZAGG invisibleSHIELD for Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3/TZ7 (Screen)

I have been profoundly disappointed with screen shields for years. Then I found the ZAGG shields and everything changed. I tried to find this particular screen locally and could not. I then ordered one to fit my camera from Amazon.com.

This screen protector is made of a tough completely transparent material that I had applied professionally at a ZAGG kiosk in the mall. They charged me five Bucks for the service, but the shield was applied perfectly--no bubbles, no lint and positioned accurately. I think ZAGG shields and the application service is now available at Best Buy.

The shield is not like those with some sort of sticky stuff on the back. They can be appied, removed and re-applied using a soapy solutiong that allows one to clean the screen and smooth the shield in place or back in place. I could have applied the shield myself with the application fluid included, but I just didn't want to take the chance of screwing it up.

These things are guaranteed forever and will be replaced and/or re-applied for a small fee.

I have a ZAGG screen shield on my Panasonic Lumix camera and also on my iPod Touch. Both are doing fine. These are the best.

Tamrac 5315 Black Travel Zoom 5 Camera Bag
Customer Ratings: 5 stars

I recently purchased the black with grey piping version of this bag for hiking or traveling light with my D200 with 18-200 mm zoom. When the hood is inverted, the camera with lens attached fits snugly into the holster. There is room for the shoulder strap to fold up and sit next to the lens. I carry an extra battery in one side pocket and a bulb style air blower and tissue in the other. The front pocket holds a 72 mm Quantaray Professional circular polarizer and extra PQI 133x 2 GB compact flash card.

For security, the top can be both zipped closed and clipped. For quicker access, I simply clip it.

I've found the removable dividers in other bags troublesome, so I like it that the camera with lens fits tightly in its own compartment and can't bang against other objects.

The double belt loops are another feature I like. I use them when carrying the camera on my bike. To attach the bag to my bike, I use 3 Kable Keepers 8 inch black velcro straps. Two tie the plastic clip shoulder stap loops to the handlebar. Since velcro doesn't always hold and a camera is an expensive tool to drop at 40 mph, I attach a third through the belt loops and around the stem. Wrapped this way, the bag top is above the handle bars, so it can be opened without removing it from the bike.

I'm not a fan of grey piping or multi-colored bags. A black Sharpie cured the problem and also subdued the Tamrac label.
