This case is exactly what I needed. I like to throw my camera in a backpack with a few other items and hit the trail. Sometimes I don't want to take big bag for DSLR camera with me and going with backpack only.

And I always afraid that camera can be damaged in some way by other stuff in backpack (ex. notebook AC adapter).

This is a very nice case at a great price. It is just big enough for the camera and a few small accessories. It is moderately padded. It has a long neck strap. Its belt strap has both velcro and a snap for extra security. There is a double-zipper section for the camera and also a front velcro flap that has a gusseted compartment for memory cards, batteries, etc. That compartment has a mesh separator in the middle so it's actually two compartments which is handy. The green color is attractive and modern and not too bright.

Sometimes I get a little confused about the two compartments and want to use the velcro front compartment to grab the camera, but I'm sure I'll get used to that. I do appreciate the zipper for the camera section because it adds security. The double-zippers are good because you can have it partly open but still keep the camera secure.

The only potential problem I see is if you want to keep more accessories with the camera. It is fine for a couple of cards and an extra battery (or even two) but that's about it. On the other hand, that's really all you need with this camera. (I also keep a cleaning cloth and a tiny brush in it.) This is a great case for my uses and this camera and I would buy it again, no question.

I came across this case while I was shopping on Amazon for a G-Technology G-DRIVE mini external hard disk drive (G-DRIVE mini 0G02131 750 GB External Hard Drive). I put the hard drive in my shopping cart and was recommended the Pelican 1020 Micro Case. Based on another reviewer's suggestion, I purchased the case just to see how drive would fit inside. As it turns out, this case is a perfect fit. It fits a G-DRIVE mini either in a thin plastic bag (such as the one it ships in) or bare along with any ONE of the included cables. The fit is extraordinary. When inside of the case, the drive is perfectly flush with the lower rubberized compartment. This leaves the entire inner space of the lid available for one of the included coiled cables (9-pin to 9-pin FireWire, 6-pin to 9-pin FireWire or Mini-B to Type A USB).

I would consider this a must get accessory for a G-DRIVE mini as the drive is made to be portable and Pelican makes some of the best ruggedized cases available.

This case is freikn great. I use it primarily for my G-tech mini and one wire and it fits so perfect I thought that this case was meant for the hard drive. It also serves good for some of my other small things that I want to keep in a secure container in my backpack IE: flashlight,knife, keys, and a wallet or phone not both wallet and phone though. So if you want an awesome heavy duty box any of the pelican cases will meet your needs.

Probably should have shopped around a little more before getting this case. Not much room in it for my canon sx100...gotta squeeze it in there. No room for extra batteries, cards, etc. Cumbersome to get at camera with the 2 zippers to undo. I'll probably end up just using my old digicam case. Disappointed that this was the case recommended for my camera.

This is a nice camera case. Do not confuse this product for a camera bag, because that is not what it is. It is a camera case. It holds and protects your camera. Thats it. Nothing more. That is its intended function -and it should be reviewed as such.

Fits my new Canon SX110 IS perfectly. Provides a good amount of padding around the camera, for a little bit of extra piece of mind protection. I especially like how there is a hole for the strap on the camera to come through the top, with the case closed, like older Canon cases used to have. Nice touch. Case looks quite nice as well.

For the most part, this is a normal camera bag. It is comfortable to use for normal periods of time; if you completely load it up with gear, your shoulder will be soar after a hole day of traveling, but that is expected.

The stitches holding the velcro on the back pouch is starting to wear out only after a few weeks. (I took this bag on three campus visits and used this pouch to hold very full folders.)

The best features of this bag are the two side pouches that are conveniently water bottle size. I also like the bag because it has enough room to carry everything for a day trip: maps, a spare lens, two water bottles, a few filters, tissues, cellphone, iPod, etc. Without all of the extra stuff, I can very comfortably fit my Nikon D5000 with a lens on it, along with two other lenses in the main compartment. Each side pouch (the water bottle ones) can also hold an additional lens.

I was not very impressed with the included inserts. I can't figure out how to use camera one with my D5000 with an attached lens. I removed it and simply lay my camera down in the bag. I use the other inserts to create three sections in the main compartment: a big one for my camera and two smaller ones for lenses.

This skin is supposedly custom fit to the optio w30. But it isnt. I had to cut it to fit right, and the indentations for the controls are still not quite in the right place. Frustrating because bythe time I pay shipping to get it and then again to return it, the cost is increased quite a bit, which is why I decided to cut it and be frustrated with it rather than return it.

The picture and the product that you receive are not the same. The packaging states that it is "exclusively for Pentax Optio WP and Option WPi digital Cameras".

Cutouts and buttons do not line up.

I didn't have any of the problems that other reviewers had. The cutouts lined up with the screen and the microphone/speaker, the buttons are useable through the skin, and the power button lined up with the bump in the skin for that.

I did use a scissors to cut a hole in the bottom for the tripod bolt to go through, but other than that, it's plug and play.

It's an odd size, too much padding for something so small, it's like a light-weight kettle-bell shape. It will protect your camera, but it's not easy to get in and out because it's too small and thick, and there is not much room for anything else. It's awkward to hold and it looks like a kiddie purse. I got the Lowepro Rezo Camera Case for a Canon G9, which fits in the case nicely. Not real snug but the camera strap on the G9 helps to keep the camera well seated. There is not a lot of extra room for accessories with the Rezo, barely fitting an extra battery and spare SD card. My biggest complaint with this case is the flap that fits over the accessory compartment. This is basically non-functional, having no real purpose other than to cover the accessory compartment. It would have been nice if the flap had a zipper pouch or something to hold more accessories. I am planning on cutting it off entirely.

Looks nice great quality but main camera compartment too large for small camera too small for regular sized camera. I have a Lumix LX5 and it has enough room for 2. The front compartment for accessories is way too small. Front flap has no purpose.

I was looking for a case for my Canon SX130 IS. Using dimensions, I decided to try a "Lowepro Rezo 60". The camera fit was okay, but the closing zippers were impossible to close because the back side inner lining blocked the top of the case. This could have been corrected by additional sewing to pin it down but I didn't try. Also when the the front zippered storage section was opened and pulled down to access contents, the integral pocket opening pointed down allowing its contents to spill out. Finally the strap connections were on the very top rear of the case which I found not as convenient as those mounted lower down on the sides of the case. Continuing to look, I found that a "Tamrack 5292 T92", to me, had a much better fit and function. Don't get trapped when using camera dimensions to select a case. Sometimes only the outside dimensions are given...

The canon G1X fits, it's a little tight and you have to slide it in at an angle and then push it straight, but then it's a pefectly snug fit with the camera only, if you want something with a looser fit or want to put the strap inside then this will be too small.

I was looking for a case with minimum size without the need to hold extra lenses, and a good "unstrappable" belt loop. This fits the bill for my Sony NEX-6 with 16-50 lens with the EVF rubber cup attached, with barely any wiggle room but not tight either. The Sony neck strap can also fit in the compartment and zipped up too. Also, the belt loop strap is much better and stronger than other cases I've shopped for. The material and finish is also nice and strong.

The accessories pouch doesn't really add much size to the case when unused, but definitely is large enough for extra cards and two batteries (Sony NEX-6 batteries), although zipping up the camera compartment is a little bit tighter.

Like everyone else said, the velcro flap cover doesn't have much use. It may give you quick access to the accessories compartment if left unzipped, but it would probably be a much better design if the velcro flap covered the camera compartment also. The camera compartment with quick access would be much more useful, plus, it gives you the option of both compartments for quick access. Perhaps the Lowepro design team misplaced the flap on their drawings before production? If they fixed this, it would easily be 5 stars.

Fits the Nikon V1 camera nicely as long as one uses the kit lens. Two minor problems: no matter which way you let the front part of the case dangle, it seems to get in the way. To charge the battery, you have to unscrew the bottom, remove the case and take the battery out.

(Note: this review is copied from the review for the same strap in red; we purchased the black one as a gift for a family member for the same usage, a handle for a Nook Color).

I actually bought this strap to act as a handle for my Nook Color e-reader; the device has a rigid opening on the lower left side that can be used to attach charms. I wanted something to help me hold onto the Nook and reduce the risk of dropping it.

While I don't know if this would work if I were, say, swinging the Nook around in the air, it does provide nice "drop insurance". It attaches easily, and feels very solidly made, and is large enough that even a large-handed person can get their wrist through the strap.

For something lighter like a camera this would be more than strong enough to act as an actual handle.

I purchased this wrist strap because I didn't want to use the neck strap that came with the Olympus E-P1. This wrist strap should work with any camera, but note that it does have the Olympus name printed on the silver part. I'm using this with the Skin Guard for Olympus PEN E-P1 [Brown] and the color matches perfectly.
