We were after a good strong bag that wasn't too bulky to hold a camera and extra lenses while hiking. This bag certainly fits the bill in terms of quality and a range of zippered pockets for holding all sorts of things things. What isn't so clear--and it could be just us--is exactly where your SLR is meant to be stashed. The largest interior pocket has two lens holders on either side of the pocket, against the edges, which leaves a sort of "T" space in the remainder of the pocket. If you place the camera in this "T" with the lens pointing down into the long leg of the "T" if kinda sorta fits, but it isn't ideal. I'd been expecting a proper padded compartment for storing the camera in this bag, but it's just not there.

The only thing I don't like about this item is that it's not a flat glossy plastic like the ones you'd get for a smartphone. This one is more like a rubbery plastic and has ripples in it(it's hard to explain)

It works great in most situations, but it does catch weird glare on the screen sometimes.

I'd still recommend it, I just wish it looked like a glass screen still.

Shield Zone's Invisible Shield, intended to protect the LCD screen on digital SLRs, might work very well. If you can install it. Getting it onto your LCD screen seems easy, and maybe it is if it all goes perfectly to start with. But be warned, any wrinkle, any slightly off-the-mark initial placement and you are stuck with a mess. Try to move the shield without touching it--impossible. Touch it (even with the provided lubricant) and you end up with a smudge, a bubble, or worse. Fortunately it was a lot easier to remove, and toss in the garbage. It's only $12 which seems pretty cheap to protect an expensive LCD panel, but you get what you pay for.

This case is perfect for the Nikon S01--fits with ample room to spare, has a handy clip for a belt loop, and a neck strap to carry it that way. It'll be great when out and about in town or hiking in rough terrain.

The S01 is so compact, it easily fits in a pocket or purse, so can be carried everywhere, no excues not to have a camera with you all the time, expecially with this protective case.

I'm giving 4 stars to this Cannon PowerShot camera, because it's light, has a good sized screen, simple functions. It takes very good pictures, even in low light. I tried taking a picture of a flower in my living room and it came out great in low light. The camera does not have a touch screen like new ones, but it's good just for taking pictures with a very good resolution (16meg).

I came across this case while I was shopping on Amazon for a G-Technology G-DRIVE mini external hard disk drive (G-DRIVE mini 0G02131 750 GB External Hard Drive). I put the hard drive in my shopping cart and was recommended the Pelican 1020 Micro Case. Based on another reviewer's suggestion, I purchased the case just to see how drive would fit inside. As it turns out, this case is a perfect fit. It fits a G-DRIVE mini either in a thin plastic bag (such as the one it ships in) or bare along with any ONE of the included cables. The fit is extraordinary. When inside of the case, the drive is perfectly flush with the lower rubberized compartment. This leaves the entire inner space of the lid available for one of the included coiled cables (9-pin to 9-pin FireWire, 6-pin to 9-pin FireWire or Mini-B to Type A USB).

I would consider this a must get accessory for a G-DRIVE mini as the drive is made to be portable and Pelican makes some of the best ruggedized cases available.

This case is freikn great. I use it primarily for my G-tech mini and one wire and it fits so perfect I thought that this case was meant for the hard drive. It also serves good for some of my other small things that I want to keep in a secure container in my backpack IE: flashlight,knife, keys, and a wallet or phone not both wallet and phone though. This Black Swiss camera case is everything I was wanting in a case for my Nikon CoolPix S8100 camera. I bought this because my belt strap camera case actually cut through. I was hoping that the clip would be more durable. It broke in about 2 weeks. I could see that this would work pretty good for people who take their camera with them on vacation or for an occasional use, however as somebody who wears my camera all the time, this one wasn't worth much.

Love the color and feel of the case.

The lower piece fits the RX100 M2 fine but it does bulge out a bit on one side. This would be the side with less coverage.

Tilting the screen up is a little tight. Difficult to tilt down.

Feels like the top piece could be better fitted for the camera; right now it is kind of loose but it does cover the whole camera. Overall, I am pleased with it and I can live with the minor misgivings pointed out above.

The bag offers somewhat stiff padding giving OK protection. The linked double zipper makes for quick opening and closing. Bag even has enough room to leave attached the Arca Swiss type rail, but only barely and only when angled just right.

What I don't like is that there is only two ways to carry this. Either by the shoulder strap, which seems thin, or by the belt loop. I would like a hand strap. I end up using the strap between the two zippers as a hand strap, but that isn't very safe. I would also like it if the belt loop was a better Velcro system designed to mate to better camera bags. similar to the MAS system. If you haven't seen this system, don't discount it because it is Velcro, it is actually very secure with three ways of holding on or together. First the Velcro is overly generous and high quality. Second there are two snaps to secure it. And third the loop is actually a much wider flap that is reinforced with thick plastic. So if the Velcro failed and the snaps failed, the plastic would still allow it to hang and not fall. BTW, these haven't failed in any way for me.

Also the color of the case is rather plain.

Received the 'Canon LZ1324 Lens Case' with the Canon 70-200mm lens and it's proven to do the job in all instances of its use. I've had it slung across a shoulder, in combination with (to balance out) "Cotton Carrier" devices and have found it secure, albeit a bit clumsy because of the weight of the lens, and incorporate it within my camera bag. The Velcro closure and dual zippers make for easy open and closure. Wouldn't be without it.

It does a good job of protecting the Zen so I'll give it that and the quality of the stitching and finish couldn't be better. But, is this real leather? It seems more like high-quality "pleather". I'm not crazy about having to put it in upside down either. It just seems strange and you constantly open it upside down maybe I'll get used to it but it's not intuitive. If you put it in the other way, it's too tight and the buttons are all pressed so the device doesn't work. See the pictures I posted above.

I'll update this once I've had it a while longer. It's a little stiff which is good but once it breaks-in a little I think I'll like it even more. First impression this is overpriced should be more like $20 definitely. And, at least throw in some screen protectors for this price that's ridiculous. You have to buy protectors separately. On the plus side, you can do everything with the case on you have full access to all the buttons, inputs, etc. and even charging.

Edit:

It was just a little stiff in the beginning and it was pressing the bottom two buttons all the time so it wouldn't work well and that's why I had to put it in upside down. But, now after it's stretched out, you can put it in the case either way. And, it's much preferable with the flap on top otherwise it can fall out a little too easily.

I still like the case in general and haven't found a better option. It's thin and yet does a superb job of protecting the device. With all my "toys" I do tend to prefer the leather cases (Palm, Treos, phones, etc). They tend to have a better feel when I'm holding them.

Odd the picture of this case has changed since I bought this and wrote the review if you look at my pictures it looks like an entirely difference case. This one has a 1-2" wrap around velcro strap to hold it closed. Mine has no strap the flap actually has a few millimeters of velcro along the edge and that's plenty to keep it closed.

After searching through a countless amount of cases here on Amazon I decided to go with Creative's own. Another review caused me to be a bit skeptical about how well it fit the player. Well, I can tell you that it fits perfectly (as I imagined a case made by the same company that made the device would). If you're looking at the pictures and thinking to yourself "I don't want to have to put my player in backwards", then I can assure you that there is absolutely no need to. It fits great right side up the way it is intended to. I've begun to speculate that the person who posted the pictures and wrote the review stating that you have to put it in upside down is using the case with the 60GB version of the player. This can be a bit confusing since nowhere on this page does it specify that this case is only for the 30GB version. However, if you look at the product on Creative's site, it does state "Custom fitted for ZEN Vision:M 30GB only". So if you have the 60GB version, I can't really tell you whether it fits or not (perhaps you can then use it upside down). If you need a great quality case for the 30GB Vision:M, however, then look no further.

Also note that it doesn't have a screen protector, but I find this preferable since having a protector built into a case will usually give you much more glare than having one on the unit itself (since one sewn into the case would have to be flexible). I suggest either keeping the plastic on the screen that came with the device, or just picking up a generic PDA screen protector and trimming it to size. This way, it stays flat and smooth on the device (causing little or no glare) as opposed to the ones built into a case which can be wavy and cause glare from many different angles. Plus, you can replace it without having to get a new case when it gets scratched up.

When i bought my zen i knew i wanted to get a case for it, so i bought this one, the factory creative one. It worked good for a few months, and then the velco stoped holding together. Besides that it was ok. If only Creative had made a case for the zen vision m like the did for the zen x-fi, which has a case with a magnets insted of velcro.

Used for about 6 months now.

Looks good, durable leather, appears to be made with decent quality and stitching.

I tend to remove the player from the case a lot, and found that over time, very very light scratches could be seen on the plastic front (I have a black color player). I have a screen protector on the LCD, so that has shown no damage, but the fine scratches on the player appear to be from the case itself (looks to be the stitching and edges on the inside of the case. I would almost fault the player itself, since I have felt the case, and there are no sharp edges, so if the player truly scratches with that little of abrasion I would question the plastic not the cover.

Otherwise, has protected the player well in my large bag, as it bounces around daily with a lot of other heavy items (water bottle, lunch, ect). Openings leave easy access to all buttons and cord openings. If you don't remove it from the case often I would recommend.

Very unhappy about this product. It is WAY too large for the SD 780 or 940. I was expecting it to be a tight sleeve but you can shake the camera around inside the case. Would return if it wasnt a big hassle and if I wouldnt lose the cost of a new case just in shipping it back. If you are looking for a case for one of your small cameras, this is NOT the one for you. To end on a nice note, the quality seems fine.

I was looking for the absolute minimum sized bag for my Nikon V1 with 10mm f2.8 mounted + 10-30mm +30-110mm and SB-N5 flash camera kit, and this is it. I put the V1 with 10mm f2,8 attached in one side of the divided bag and the10-30mm and 30-110mm lenses stacked along side in the other compartment. Camera and lenses fit perfectly and there is a pocket in the front that fits the SB-N5 flash with room to spare for a filter and extra battery.

Like all Tamrac bags, the quality of the 3440 bag is top notch, with the exception of the plastic clasp, which is sturdy, but a poor design that is difficult to latch easily and unlatch easily. The other design issues is the lack of a zipper around the top and the lack of a hook and loop tabs to secure the lens compartment so there is no possibility of having the lenses fall out when the bag is not latched.

Even though this bag is not perfect, I have replaced my Lowepro Adventura 120 (which has a better clasp and zipper at top) with this one because it holds about the same amount of equipment in a much less bulky form, (which is more important to me).

I really like the dark brown color too!

I bought this for my Olympus E-PL2 mirrorless camera and the 14-42mm & 40-150mm lenses based on Tamrac's fit chart. Well, it works, but it's snug. Have to store the camera with the 14-42 attached and the other lens separate, can't do the reverse. As far as quality and design, it's very well-made and easy to carry. All in all, I like it and it's a keeper, just wish it had a tad bit more room. One more thing, the bag is BROWN/tan, as in much browner than what is shown, but looks great nonetheless.
