The black case is a hard cover and the camera fits it. But I was hoping for a little bit smaller size case and a little softer. There isn't anything wrong with the case and I will use it. It is will built.

This case is perfect for the Nikon S01--fits with ample room to spare, has a handy clip for a belt loop, and a neck strap to carry it that way. It'll be great when out and about in town or hiking in rough terrain.

The S01 is so compact, it easily fits in a pocket or purse, so can be carried everywhere, no excues not to have a camera with you all the time, expecially with this protective case.

And the S01 takes great photos--after all, it is a Nikon.

I'm giving 4 stars to this Cannon PowerShot camera, because it's light, has a good sized screen, simple functions. It takes very good pictures, even in low light. I tried taking a picture of a flower in my living room and it came out great in low light. The camera does not have a touch screen like new ones, but it's good just for taking pictures with a very good resolution (16meg).
