Review of Kodak Hard Case for Cameras (Purple)
I bought the Kodak Hard Case for Cameras (Purple) because of its protective feature and it came in purple to match the camera. The little pocket that holds an extra memory card doesn't work too well. Almost every time I open the case it falls out. Also, the elastic part on each side gets in the way when trying to close the case around the camera. Otherwise, it's functional and pretty.

The case is generally well constructed and works reasonably well for putting a camera in your pocket and keeping it safe. The case is a bit snug though on some models in the Exlim series and my camera is a struggle to fit into the case. A result of the tight fit is that while in the case the power button often appears to get pushed and the camera will attempt to turn on which I do not think is good for the camera. Also, my case did not come with the clip link shown in the pictures.

I bought this camera case for my new Casio Camera and I love it. It is just the correct size and padded just enough to keep my camera safe from scratches and/or abuse. I take it everywhere I go because it stays safe in my purse and it small enough to fit anywhere. You never know when you want to take a picture. Recently in a store with my grandaughter and she sat on a log and said "Nana please take my picture". Okay, Mom took out her phone and I took out my camera. The case is pretty reasonable, especially for the price. The only real flaw is the interior Velcro strap that holds the camera in place it is too short. It barely latches around the camera. That's a big flaw though, considering it is a camera case.

Best BlackRapid RMJ-3BB Joey 3 (Black) Deals
I purchased this as an add-on to my DR2-Slim Blackrapid strap. The Joey3, in comparison to the Joey1 and Joey2, is much more convenient in so many ways.
1) It uses a zip function compared to the velcro used by both the J1 and J2 (event photographers will not need to worry about the sound that the velcro makes)
2) There are compartments inside the pouch for memory cards and batteries, on top of the main compartment for the phone.
3) It attaches super easily to my Blackrapid strap, and at the same time, providing you with the added space for your small items.
Now I have everything I need all in one strap convenient solution.
If know you are going to buy a Joey and are just considering which one and your only concern is with adding weight/bulk I would just get the J3, it's barely noticeable on there and you get the extra space.
Fortunately, the straps on the back of the Joey 3 seem fairly versatile, so I might be able to attach it to my belt or camera bag instead.

I am using this in conjunciton with my RS-7 strap for my 60D. It easily holds a spare battery and a couple memory cards. It stays on the strap securely and doesn't seem to add any noticeable bulk or get in the way when the strap slides out of position. My personal preference for cell phones is 4"+ screen size so this is tight for those, especially since you'll probably want that spare battery in there. Like all the Blackrapid products I've tried, the Joey 3 is well-made out of quality materials. I have the RS-7 strap, and thought it would be helpful to have some extra storage for batteries and memory cards. The Joey 3 is big enough to fit several of those and more easily, but with one crucial flaw: once you put stuff inside of it, it makes the strap so heavy that it will slide off your shoulder when you lift your camera to your face. This happened so often that I was forced to remove it from the strap 10 minutes into shooting a wedding. I probably won't be putting it back on unless I pick up the extra strap attachment that goes under your arm.Fortunately, the straps on the back of the Joey 3 seem fairly versatile, so I might be able to attach it to my belt or camera bag instead.

Best MegaGear "Ever Ready" Protective Dark Brown Leather Camera Case Deals
Love the color and feel of the case.
The lower piece fits the RX100 M2 fine but it does bulge out a bit on one side. This would be the side with less coverage.
Tilting the screen up is a little tight. Difficult to tilt down.
Feels like the top piece could be better fitted for the camera; right now it is kind of loose but it does cover the whole camera. Overall, I am pleased with it and I can live with the minor misgivings pointed out above.

It is a really well designed little case, and it comes with all the different belts and clips you might need. But I kind of wish it was designed with a magnetic or single-snap closure, PLUS the nice zipper as well for more weather protection. When you have the camera bag secured to your chest, you don't want to be fussing with zipping and unzipping it all the time. If I am using my Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 extensively, I end up defaulting to just slinging the camera around my neck with its regular camera strap and setting the Clik Elite aside. It fits fine with the GX1 and the 14mm pancake lens. Should be room for a GX1 with a larger prime lens, but not a big zoom.

Buy Black Rapid FastenR-3
I've been using my Black Rapid straps for a couple months now with the included FastenR-2's. I actually liked the design and didn't have any problems with it, at least not with the appearance.
There is, however, a problem with the construction it's multiple pieces thrown together, and thats not something you want when dealing with holding thousands of dollars of gear. While it didn't happen to me, I've seen the flaws of the FastenR-2 design in that the "hook" piece that you connect the R-Strap to, can come off!
That's all it took for me to consider upgrading to the FastenR-3.
Right off the bat, I love that it's a single piece of metal (from the screw to the top that you connect to). There is still a rubber insert to provide a tighter lock, but it's now about 1/2 the size of the FastenR-2's (it also has grooves on it I think this is to give it a tigher "lock", but I could be wrong).
The design is OK. Nothing incredible, pretty basic. I like the looks of the FastenR-2 more (I don't care for the odd color of the FastenR-3 it changes colors from silver to black to green, depending on the light you look at it in, but thats not a big deal).
My big concern was using the FastenR-3 with a DSLR and a battery grip (shooting vertical). The F-2 had a swinging hook, so it would hide itself and not bother your hand when using it in vertical-mode. I was worried the F-3's solid hook would dig into your hand when using it vertical fortunately it doesn't!
One problem with it is that the hook part now has a big "bump" (the part with the "R" logo on the picture). This makes it odd to sit the camera down on a flat surface (the F-2 had a flat surface and the hook swung out of the way).
The only reason I see it worth upgrading is for the security/peace of mind the solid-piece connector brings. I definitely prefer the look of the F-2, but apparently it's flawed -I just didn't want to take the chance.
As a bonus, buying the FR-3 allows you to use your existing FR-2s for other objects (like a flash most of which now have an adapter with tripod threading that will work great! or a point & shoot)
One note about this after using it for a week getting the ConnectR (carabiner) into and out of the FastenR-3 is more difficult than the FastenR-2 I think this is actually a good thing as it practically eliminates the possibility of it falling off the carabiner if it were to open (with the screw-in lock it shouldn't, but if you forgot to screw it in, for example) the fastenR-2 is much easier to connect/disconnect. Depending how often you do this, it could be a good thing (more secure) or a bad thing (harder to attach/detach).
FYI: For the strap, I went to the tactial sling section. The pricing is way more reasonable and the one I got (A Tac(tm) Single Point Tactical Sling) is well built with quality materials.
Summary:
Pro: good quality and made.
Con: overpriced.
Saving money is a good thing in this economy. I think the quality is very good, but could have been a little cheaper.
If you do buy this, make sure you purchase the Op/Tech Connector Uniloop for 7 bucks, which fastens to your BlackRapid strap and loops around the little silver camera strap pin that is on the bottom of your camerathis will provide a secondary fail-safe.... if the fastener ever comes loose and separates from the camera, the Connector strap will catch the camera and save your gear. As title, this is well made little thing that give you the confidence to hang your expensive equipments on the single tripod screw. However, it is so over priced due to a lake of competition. Since they're the only one avaliable here, I just pay for this little screw for my single sling solution to be complete.FYI: For the strap, I went to the tactial sling section. This design is greatly improved from the earlier ones sturdier. But it makes it even more difficult to lay the camera flat with this attached. Nevertheless, still feels good and sturdy to use this rather than the earlier FastenR. I was a Black Rapid Straps RS4 owner once. I found a cheaper alternative to that with this device added to the RainbowImaging Innovative Neck Strap. Those two combined is 25 dollar less then the similar RS4.Saving money is a good thing in this economy. I think the quality is very good, but could have been a little cheaper.

I have one of these fastened to my Manfrotto RC4 platewhen i need to mount the camera to my tripod, i have to unscrew this studwhen i did recently, i realized that it had started unscrewing itself over time was a mere millimeters (in my case, it was about within 30 minutes more for me) from completely unscrewingwhich would have caused my Canon 5D 3 and 24-70 L lens to drop onto solid cement. I've used one of these full of medium format rock climbing so getting your stuff through a airport and on vacation should be no problem. When I ordered this bag, I was replacing another. I thought it would be bigger than it actually is. I am impressed with the way the straps hide away. That is very convenient when traveling. The bag will hold a lot of equipment safely and it does give you quick access to your gear. I also like the way the tripod can be attached, not as loose as my Lowepro backpack. The strapping system is good but not as comfortable as some others that I have, to it's defense though it is carrying more gear than the other bags. As one other reviewer describes, this case is really small. I incorrectly assumed it would contain my DMC-LX5, but it is not even close. This is a decent padded case for the price. There is a lot of padding, so it is good for fragile objects or unusually shaped objects. I use it for my ContourHD camera and the side pocket fits my spare battery. You could also put an iphone (just barely) or ipod in there and put your headphones in the pocket. Check the dimensions to see if another item will fit. The case is not very thick, so thin pocket video cameras like Flips and Vados should fit, but boxy P&S compact cameras may not.Note that this case is shorter than the similar looking, similar priced Case Logic case. Reviews of Lowepro Nova 2 AW Camera Bag (Black)
I purchased this bag for my Canon Digital Rebel SLR and I am extremely pleased. It is not the largest gadget bag that I own, but it is the best by far. The bag itself is 10" high, 9" wide and 6" deep so it is ideally sized for travel with your camera. It is well sized and balanced for carrying over one shoulder using the comfortable strap which is included. The bag is made of nylon, but it has a very study frame to it so the bag keeps its shape. Lowepro was generous with distributing the padding and I feel that the bag keeps my equipment quite safe.
The bag includes padded dividers which can be configured using Velcro. I have the bag configured so that I put my camera body with my 28-135mm lens attached into the bag lens first so that I can take it out again quickly. The dividers have rigidity to them so I am comfortable that they will support the camera body without risking the lens will hit the bottom of the bag. There is also enough room for my 300mm lens and accessories such as my spare batteries or lens covers.
Pockets include one on each side of the bag. There is a great zippered pocket on the back of the bag that is really useful for quickly stowing papers or books. There is also a zippered pocket inside the top flap where I keep my memory cards. The pocket on the front is also zippered and subdivided to store memory cards, filters, etc.
The bag includes a limited lifetime warranty. The bag is very well built and much better than any of the similar bags that I was looking at such as those by Targus which I did not think were as sturdy as this one.
In summary, I think that this is a great bag for a SLR camera. I use it extensively for my travels and I am very happy with it.

This is my second Lowepro bag (the other being a Slingshot 100 AW), but it's my most preferred. This is especially true for those days when I want to carry just the camera and one zoom lens (in my case, an Olympus E-500 with a 14-54mm/f2.8-3.5 lens) for family outings and visits, parties, etc. This should not imply the bag doesn't hold all I need, quite the contrary. This bag easily accommodates a FL-36 flash, an Olympus EC-14 teleconverter, Stofen Omnibounce, a spare BLM-1 battery, extra batteries for my flash, extra CF cards, a Lenspen, a tabletop tripod, a CP filter, and RM-1 remote switch, and other small accessories. I use this bag with a Nikon D70, a large flash and a Sony camcorder. It holds all three with extra batteries, lens cleaner, media cards and a mini tripod to boot. It is comfortable and very secure. I've had alot of bags in over 30 years of shooting -a few of them working in a camera store. This is the top if it holds all your gear. Pocket inside the top cover. They placed a piece of cloth/vinyl to cover the zipper pull so it won't scratch what you have in the main compartment. A nice thought.
Side external pockets (exposed). I guess you can stick paper maps here.
The lid feels very sturdy. It is a fairly tight fit, and may require some fiddling with to close. The only "-" for the bag.

Buy Overboard Waterproof SLR Camera Bag Protective Case
From the exterior, the bag appears to be a small dry bag commonly used in kayaking. Further inspection reveals the bag contains a softer nylon inner bag lining that protects the camera from the tougher pvc material from which the bag is made. The bag is large enough to store one SLR camera with one small to mid sized lens attached. It also has a pocket on the interior for a few smaller items. The pocket does not seal and could possibly allow objects to escape into the interior of the bag. This bag would protect your camera from water but offers no protection from other damage since it lacks any padding. My only complaint is the bag could be a little bit longer to allow for a larger lens and the interior pocket does not seal.
The winds were sometimes ferocious, actually blowing sand thru the mesh in my tent. Again the case provided great protection.
The case is light and sturdy, easy to seal to protect SLRs from water and blowing sand, plus when hanging open from my shoulder the camera is protected from getting banged on rock faces but is very easy to pull out for quick shots. There is also a mesh pocket inside the case for extra batteries,SD cards, or even a backup pocket camera, tho I would pad these so they don't rub against the camera. The case will hold my Nikon D90 with 70-300 lens along with my G-9 Canon.
Although I have a couple of other cases for my SLR including expensive heavily padded ones, this will be the bag I will use for future trips of any type. Also it will fit in my day pack which I use as a carry on for air travel, which is not possible with my other cases.
I recommend this case and would buy it again.

After a week of use I did find the stitching kind of annoying as it sort of frays and I ended up trimming the wisps off with a small pair of scissors. Didn't seem like it was coming apart necessarily, just that it was manufactured that way.

I had high hopes for this roll top bag for protecting a D-SLR with zoom with a Class 3 waterproof rating (brief submersion). The Overboard bag size would work fine for my use but the roll down top does not seal correctly. Almost all roll down dry bags are Class 3 rated and I've used roll down dry bags for over 30 years of sea kayaking and canoeing. I know how to seal these bags properly and even 4 rolls did not seal the Overboard SLR bag. Test it yourself, open up the bag fully to fill with air, roll it 3 or 4 times and clip the buckle, and then gently squeeze the bag. That sound you hear is air leaking out, which means water can get in. I bought this case for a 7 day rafting trip on the Green River in Utah. During the trip we never turned over or dunked the camera bag, but it got splashed in white water rapids numerous times. Works great took it jet skiing and it kept everything bone dry. If you are using a telephoto you will probably need the larger size. Only a 3 hour hike in the middle of a HUGE rain system over the Hawaiian islands has phased it so far. Even then it was just humidity from the shear amount of moisture in the air that crept through. Funny thing is when the sun finally came out, to dry off my camera I ended up putting it back in the bag on the beach with the case open, and due to the rubbery material it gets kind of warm, I used the bag itself to warm up the camera and heat any residual moisture out of my camera.
